Short Description of Character: Kim Jongin or Kai to his motherwas a shy and simple boy. He grew up in the Southern Water tribe to two wonderful people. His mother, a healer and water bender taught him everything he now knew. She was his life, his father was a fisherman, often traveling to republic city for weeks at a time. Everytime he came home; Jongin's father would regale tales of excitement, humor, and happiness of his travels and pro bending. Jongin took quite the interest to pro bending, at ninteen he left his family to move to republic city, hitching a ride with his father. His mother begged him not to go, fearful of the dangers the city held.
