camp half-blood
to whom it may concern:
You have been graced with strange and extraordinary abilities mortals yearn for, yet you may or may not be able to explain this phenomenon. To put it plainly, you are not human — at least not completely. Still following? No? Let me start with your roots then — you have at least one mortal parent, correct? Or perhaps you reside in foster homes or etc., but whatever the case, I can assure you have one (blood related) mortal parent. The other half, father or mother, is a god or goddess, thus making you a demigod. Any child of a god or goddess will be of immediate danger (seen any monsters as of late?) as they reach the age of 12; to prepare demigods, a secret camp was built to train and prepare them for whatever dangers that lurks. A satyr (you have Google. Knock yourself out. ) will shortly be dispatched to retrieve you. All your questions will be answered when you arrive. Good luck — and don’t die.
Wishing you a safe trip,
Temporary Director of Camp Half-Blood, Park Hyemin.
Camp Half-blood and Camp Jupiter were once separated by the history of bad blood between the Greeks and Romans — until Percy Jackson and Jason Grace proved that the Greeks and Romans could live peacefully side by side. It's been ten years since Camp Half-blood and Camp Jupiter formed an official alliance. The camps would often exchange campers as a 'continuation' of their alliance and as a result, each side could experience life with Greeks or Romans. This story here takes place at Camp Half Blood, where tension still exists. An mere aillance doesn't mean the campers get along just fine.
Greeks, prepare yourself as the Romans enter your beloved camp. Don't let your guard down.
Romans, prepare yourself as you enter unknown territory. Will you bow and surrender to the Greek ways?
Good luck.
