Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] "If you're lucky," Mami chuckled. While they both passed by the group of the hyper giggling girls, she looked at them in wonder. What could be so funny that's worth a bunch of laughing and whispering about? "What are /they/ up to?" She raised her eyebrows in curiosity.
Amber Liu [G] 11 years ago
@Mami Sasazaki [R] Amber laughed softly and shook her head at the other girl. "Well, maybe I won't get you to love it, but I may get you to appreciate exercise," she said, sidestepping a group of giggling female campers.
Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] "Nope," She foolishly grinned. "But maybe it'll get better!" She cheered on. This was the first time she's done anything like this and she's not goin to give up now.
Amber Liu [G] 11 years ago
@Mami Sasazaki [R] One corner of her lips lifted upward, somewhat lightening up her face. "You'll get used to it soon enough," she said to the other girl, her pace now at a more normal speed. "You're not a fan of exercise, huh?"
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
Sooyoung chuckled at his statement. "You wouldn't wake me up?" Sooyoung pretended to look hurt and placed a hand over her heart. "How cruel!" She whined as he teased. She smiled, Baramiji always woke her up. It was nice, to have someone to tease yet not get offended. "Would you let me sleep for 1000 years?" She asked, curious, "Like Sleeping Beauty?"

She blinked slightly as Baramiji paused and caught how she said him. She felt her cheeks grow hot as she thought of him. She hastily sipped on her tea as the steam gave an excuse of why her cheeks were red. To be honest, Sooyoung actually wasn't losing sleep just because of the pranks but how her friend mysteriously disappeared. It was weird, they had been hanging out, doing some archery and then next day, he was gone. Sooyoung had brushed it off as he had been busy or had gone out of camp for a quest or errand. She started getting worried, it had been more that three weeks and he still hadn't returned. She had tried to Iris-message him but there had been no answer. Now, Sooyoung was dreading for the worse and lost sleep because of it.
[LOL I , just found out that Sooyoung's love interest left like three weeks ago and this is her thoughts of how he disappeared >-<]
Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] "It's alright~ At least we're getting exercise, don'tcha think?" Mami smiled, in hopes of cheering up her friend. "I think I'm getting the hang of this now." She chuckled, despite her inability to keep up with exercising habits and such.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Sunwoo made a face. "Then why sleep there? You should move if you can..." But even he doubted if his statement could be taken seriously. In the Hermes dorm, it was permanently crowded. If there was nowhere else to sleep, better a place than none. It wasn't like Sooyoung could up and move into another cabin to sleep in, either, until she got claimed. Though he didn't like it, that was basically how the system worked for the half-bloods. He cringed when he heard about the Hermes' kids doing pranks. Yeah; he remembered that. Just last week, if it wasn't for the fact that he was awake at the time to stop them, they would've thrown some newcomers into the lake, claiming it was tradition. Of course, he didn't believe them, and with a stern look they ran back to their cabin. It was the younger ones -around the same age he entered the camp- of the Hermes cabin, so he let it pass.

Hearing her joke made him let out a sound that could have been a snort. "Sure, I'll wake you up. Maybe. If I remember," he teased back. He edged away from her, however, when she firmly lifted the corners of his mouth, giving her an unamused look that didn't suit the wide "smile" on his face at all. He nodded, but then paused. "Him. You said him. Is there just one person bothering you instead of the rest of them, Sooyoung?"
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
"No, no." Sooyoung shook her head, "It's because I'm right near the door. No wonder no one slept there." She blinked sleepily as she tried to drink her tea. "It is true. But, recently Hermes kids had been getting a kick of doing pranks at night." She yawned. A idea went into her brain, "Huh...I could go to Hypnos dorm and catch up on my sleep... But I might sleep forever... You mind waking me up?" She merrily joked. "Stop frowning, Baramji!" She pouted as she leaned over and tried to turn his frown upside down, literally. She smiled sweetly as she went back to her chair, happy with her work. She sighed as she realized there was no way that Baramiji was going to let it go so she said, "I'll talk to him. Alright?" She sipped her tea as she grumbled something about stubbornness.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Though she declined his statement, he frowned, still worried. "Still... I could ask the activity director to tell the Hermes' kids and the undecided ones to hush up a bit when they come in. Even when I and Seolhyun came in, we weren't as loud with Percy as your cabinmates, probably. In fact, I'm pretty sure we were told to keep it down at night when we came in." He didn't know why the kids in the Hermes dorm were causing trouble, but he only wished for them to keep it down. He eyed the other suspiciously, tugging on his brazenly-colored locks in thought. "As much as you say that... even if you get earplugs, what about the others in your cabin that are also suffering because of the same problem? Sooyoung, I think you should at least talk to them."
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] "Well... I am in Hermes dorm." Sooyoung murmured as she drank her coffee. "A lot of random people coming in the middle of the night." She sighed. She giggled at the offer, "It's fine, you don't have to speak to them. I'll just get some heavy-duty earplugs." She playfully joked. She huffed, "I know coffee isn't the greatest. I'll change it." She commanded some chrysanthemum tea instead. "No caffeine." She smiled as she sipped on it. She pouted as he pointed out her bags as she answered sheepishly, "Two. Five if I'm lucky." She flustered as she sipped on her drink, avoiding eye contact. She didn't want her friend to be worried, yet she had no one else to rant about her sleeping problems.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] "Eh? Cabinmates?" Sunwoo numbly murmured back until the question registered in his mind, and once it did, he nodded with understanding. "Are they being loud, Sooyoung?" he quietly inquired. "Do you want me to speak with them?" Though he was sure the girl would say no, he wanted to ask anyway, because if his friend was tired enough to sleep onto the tables in the mess hall, then there was something seriously wrong with her cabinmates during lights-out. As the caffeinated drink appeared with just one command in the other's goblet, he furrowed his brows, even more so concerned. "Sooyoung, you know that too much coffee is bad for you, right?" he asked, right after a simple command of "vanilla ginger ale" to his cup, in which it filled with the specified soft drink. "Judging from your bags-" he pointed at the offenders "-you haven't been getting as much sleep as you should be." After the soft chastising he gave her, he took a sip out of his drink, heavily sighing afterwards. "How many hours last night?" he questioned, wanting to know how many hours she slept, if any, at all. "Four? Five?"
Jung Eunji [G] 11 years ago
@Byun Baekhyun Eunji took the final bite of her meal before getting up rather abrubtly. She wasn't in the best mood today. Grabbing her plate of food and trudging over to the trash can, she carelessly tossed it in, sighing mellowly. She swiftly turned around and began to make her way to the exit, in hopes to get to her cabin and take a quick nap. Her eyes were glued to the floor, wanting to ignore everything that was going around her. And it was that moment when she finally looked up that made her stumble backwards. A string of curses in Latin escaped her lips. Looking for the source of the collide, a frown appeared on her face. He looked familiar. "I should say the same thing to you," she said, her voice seeming somewhat metallic. Her eyes narrowed at the boy. "I feel like I've seen you before."
Amber Liu [G] 11 years ago
@Mami Sasazaki [R] Amber slowed her pace to accommodate the other girl. "Sorry about that," she said apologetically with an embarrassed laugh. The short-hair added, "I guess it's just habit now."
Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] Mami tried her best, as she jogged up to Amber. "Wow, you're quick." She chuckled, as they ran into the edges of the camp again.
Amber Liu [G] 11 years ago
@Mami Sasazaki [R] The short-haired girl continued to walk at the same faster pace as she replied, "It'll do you good to get used to speeding up once every so often as you walk. That way, running won't be too much for you." She had said that to appease the other girl, though it really was true. The main reason she wanted to walk faster was that her introverted personality told her to stay away from the crowds of people.
Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] "Yay~" Mami then continued walked slowly with her friend, then passed around the areas of the camp. Some people were training, some people were eating. Other than that, they were just occupied. As she walked a little faster, Mami caught up with her friend. "Eh? Are we picking up the pace already?"
Amber Liu [G] 11 years ago
@Mami Sasazaki [R] "It's fine," Amber reassured the other girl with a soft smile. She reached up to pat Mami's head as they continued to walk along the campsite. Campers were beginning to fill up the area, their stomachs now filled with food and their bodies with energy. Her pace quickened just a bit, not wanting to meet any..unpleasant people.
Mami Sasazaki [R] 11 years ago
@Amber Liu [G] "Hah, I guess." Mami laughed halfheartedly. "I'm practically mindless, when it comes to talking. But I guess I'll be fine either way." She flashed a smile to Amber as she did a fake mini punch to the air, before they both sniffed at the flowers around them, filling the vast air with its' fresh aroma.
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] "Stupid........" She started as she nodded off, "Cabinmates...... Can't get a wink of sleep." She was dangerously close to the bowl of fruit as she looked up at Sunwoo. She murmured something about naps before she pinched her hand to wake up. "Coffee." She smiled happily. She ordered some coffee. She smelled the heavenly scent as she sipped it.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Sunwoo snorted. "A little bit more and I think your face would have fallen into that cream, Sooyoung. What's wrong?" he asked, turning slightly serious. "Do you need sleep or something? You really look tired." And it was true; now that he stared really hard at her facial appearance, he could make out bags that had been oh-so-cleverly concealed with facial cream before, and in a certain lighting, her eyes almost appeared bloodshot. "Sooyoung... you having nightmares or something?" Because he cared. Like a good friend.
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] * sheepishly
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] Sooyoung scoffed as she grinned, "Fine, fine. I'll stick to Baramji." She barely noticed the shy smile as she took a really long blink. "Huh?" She snapped up as her eyes widen at his fingers. "Woah!" She blinked rapidly as she tried to recall what he said. "I remember a friend and beach." She sheeplishly confessed as she played with her fruit. It wasn't appealing anymore after the whipped cream had melted.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] "'Chubby bunny'? You make me gag," Sunwoo deadpanned, a chill going down his spine at the latest of the names, and not the good kind. "How about we just stick to Baramji, huh, Young?" Focusing back on his now-cold food, he shrugged, pushing some of it to the side of his plate. "Same old, same old, I guess. I met one of my friends down at the beach a while ago and we talked," he recalled, a shy smile creeping onto his face. He and Jinyoung had spent hours just splashing around and talking about nothing in particular, and it was one of the most fun he had in a long time. Noticing that he wasn't getting a reaction from his words, he turned to face his friend, frowning slightly. "Hey, Sooyoung," he called out, snapping in front of her face to get her attention. "You alright?"
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
Sooyoung pouted as he swatted her hand but continued, "Good, just been bored..." She bit into her sweet fruit as she studied his cheeks. "Chubby bunny~" She teased as she signaled at his cheeks. "How are you?" She asked slightly dazed as her mind nodded off. She hadn't gotten a lot of sleep the night before and felt sleepy.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Now assured that his friend was fine, Sunwoo nodded, dodging the finger that the girl brandished to use against him. "Yes, Sooyoung, not like a squirrel." If he didn't know any better, he'd say the girl had a thing for cheeks, which was weird enough as it was with the new-found nickname she gave him that apparently matched his looks. Swatting her hand away, he continued on with the conversation. "How have you been, by the way?"
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] Sooyoung pouted as she replied, "It's fine, the cream was just too much." "Sorry, sorry~ I'll just call you Baramji!" She giggled. She scoffed at his comment. "Not like a squirrel?" She fake gasped as she poked his cheek. She smiled at his teasing tone as although they were friends at first glance, it took a while for him to completely show her his hidden side. She felt warm and fuzzy on the inside as she now truly felt that she could said that she was Sunwoo's friend without hesitation.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Sunwoo made a slight face. "No, I understand... 'Ice King'?" he echoed, face showing his displeasure at being prodded. "Sooyoung, just because you nicknamed me 'Baramji' doesn't mean my cheeks really are like those of a squirrel's," he lightly argued his case, tapping his own cheeks to prove his argument to her. Seeing her bite into her fruit and show a grimace, he then went on to ask with a hint of a hidden teasing nature, "What's wrong with the food? Not good enough for our Choi Sooyoung?"
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] "Sorry!" Sooyoung said sheepishly, "I've been busy with stuff..." She smiled warmly at her friend as she grinned, "A smile for yours truly from the Ice King." She poked his cheeks, a habit that she had gotten after realized that Sunwoo's cheeks were just too hard to resist poking or squeezing. She bit into the fruit as whipping cream coated her lip. "Blah. She muttered as she reached for a napkin.
Cha Sunwoo [G] 11 years ago
@Choi Sooyoung [G] Hearing the question aimed straight at him, Sunwoo turned to meet Sooyoung's bright-faced self, and the corner of his mouth lifted slightly. "Sooyoung," he greeted, inclining his head. "Of course you can." Ever since they met, when she ran head-on into him and they both clumsily tumbled into the lake, they both developed an almost-instantaneous friendship, however odd it was. He got her loneliness and how she felt with having been unclaimed for so long, and she, in return, was a ray of sunshine that he could turn to if he ever needed to vent. Not that he ever did, but the offer of such felt like a safety net that he knew would catch him no matter what. "Gloomy? I always look like this," he chuckled, food and other campers momentarily forgotten. "I haven't seen you in a while."
Choi Sooyoung [G] 11 years ago
@Cha Sunwoo [G] Sooyoung grabbed some fruit and whipping cream as she searched for a empty table. She quietly walked over to almost vacant table. "Could I sit here?" She smiled at her old friend. She didn't mind sitting at another god's table as she was undecided. No one really noticed her as they knew she moved from table to table as she felt like it. She sat next to him and scooped some whipped cream covered fruit as she poked her old friend on the shoulder. "What's with the gloomy expression?" She lightly teased.

Naeun refused to believe the goat-man at first. The goat-man offered her a place at Camp Half-Blood and that if she ever changed her mind, all she had to do was go to the dark alleyway where she fought the manticore on a bright sunny afternoon. The next day, Naeun thought about his offer and she decided to go to that camp of his. After all, she knew she didn't belong with the regular humans ever since she was young. The goat-man smiled knowingly when he found her at the dark alleyway the following day. He brought her to a camp. The moment she stepped on camp grounds, a symbol was seen floating above her head. "All hail Son Naeun, daughter of lord Hades, god of the underworld." A centaur said. Oh yes, the symbol seen was the helm of darkness.

Character: Jung DaeHyun

Time zone & writing style: (GMT-5) Para, Semi-Para if I'm mobile.
Greek or Roman: Roman

Years they've been at camp & Age: 2 years at Camp Jupiter & 17 Years old

Godly parent/ancestry/etc: Pluto / Hades
Writing Sample: DaeHyun narrowed his eyes, wondering why he'd been chosen to be sent to this camp. Perhaps it was yet another laugh of fate at him, and by the Gods, he knew they loved messing with him. He hitched his bag up on his shoulder before boldly making his way towards what he expected to be an empty dorm. It being a child of Pluto, most people tended to be afraid of him and stayed away, which made making friends really hard. He blew his blonde bangs upwards before settling his bag down onto the cabin bunk. This would be an interesting time...

Note: Guise... It's me again. I was in the hospital, so I wasn't able to get online..... Take me back please?
