Founded a few hundred years ago, Ayrton started as a settlement where families immigrated from various parts of the globe to take advantage of its rich resources in gold and fertile farmlands. Today,

Ayrton has transformed into a vibrant sprawling metropolis that resembles that of Los Angeles, Seoul, and London. It stands as a major tech, media, and financial hubs, home to many of the world’s biggest banks, studios, and tech firms.

Ayrton is renowned for its entertainment industry, buoyed by low tax rates that attract artists and producers alike. The nightlife is lively and diverse, with a multitude of clubs, theaters, and live music venues that ensures the city never sleeps.

The city’s appeal extends beyond business and nightlife. Ayrton is a popular tourist hotspot, drawing visitors with its stunning vistas, rich cultural offerings, and a variety of attractions. Tourists flock to explore the historical landmarks, enjoy the diverse selection of cuisines, and partake in the vibrant festivals that celebrate the city’s diverse heritage.

Education plays a significant role in the city’s dynamic character, as Ayrton boasts two universities that are in constant competition, University of Aryton and Pennbrook University. These institutions draw students from across the globe, fostering a spirit of innovation and creativity that permeates the urban landscape.

Despite its rapid development, Ayrton retains some of its agricultural roots. The surrounding mountains are home to some of the oldest vineyards in the region, a reminder of the city’s heritage that beautifully contrasts with its modern skyline.

Geographically, it is situated thirty minutes from the coast, nestled comfortably between picturesque mountains and a flowing river that weaves through the city. The suburbs extend right to the city’s edge, offering a blend of residential tranquility and easy access to the vibrant urban core.

Ayrton City is a place where history and modernity coexist, creating a rich world of culture, commerce, and community.

pregnancies, marriages, and children are allowed, but no mpreg. move-in couples are permitted. 

we welcome a diversity of characters/faceclaims from age, ethnicities, orientations, backgrounds, so on and forth. however, we prohibit those that are under 20, deceased, requested not be played, or who have criminal records. 

if you would like a second character, an upvote is required. information for a third character and beyond is located in the request room. 

IC drama is encouraged, but OOC drama is not welcomed. Please respect one another. We are in an all adults environment and expect such from our members. Anyone caught disrespecting, bullying, or violating this or any other rules will be removed from the roleplay without further warning.

We discourage blatant chasing of any sort in this roleplay. We understand that sometimes it can be difficult to break out of your comfort zone. However, please do not wait for others to approach you. Rather we encourage you to take the initiative and approach others in the community to get the most from your experience. While some may seem intimidating, we strive to be a friendly crowd.

ayrton is a city alternate universe set in a metropolis, featuring original characters. please refrain from naming your characters too similar to their faceclaims. 

you are allowed to age your characters +/- by 5 years. 

Please ensure that your character's occupation and background are realistic. When choosing their career, consider factors like their age, necessary qualifications, and level of experience. If your character is younger or less experienced than usual for their position or field, please provide an explanation for how they managed to achieve that role. If you're unsure about selecting a career or finding a suitable faceclaim, feel free to ask, and we'd be happy to offer suggestions.
