Downtown Jjin. Scavenge supplies and loot items. But be careful of the lurking zombies!

@Krystal Jung Chanyeol didn't bother to give a second thought as he ducked into the car, only feeling slightly relaxed once he was settled on the seat. He didn't care if he looked like a sweating mess, he just needed to live. It was then he watches as the stranger next to him took the zombies down one by one. He was amazed at how she seemed to handle the gun much better than he did, though it was quite an embarrassing fact as well.

With a blank mind and a very much confused state, Chanyeol shifts his gaze from the woman to the group of the living dead just meters away from the car. Should he help? Or should he avoid the risk of exploding the vehicle? He lets out a frustrated groan, soon whipping a gun out of his bag before aiming for the zombies approaching from the back. It was a pretty cliché scene, with two heroes shooting at the evil whilst standing back to back, it wasnt something you wouldnt see in a typical action movie.

Once Chanyeol was sure that coast was clear, and that the zombies were all down, he grabs the other by the wrist before pulling her into the car, making sure that the door was kept tightly shut. He then turns towards the stranger, releasing a soft sigh of relief as he gave a small smile.

"That was a close one, thank you."

It was at that moment when it shot him. It wouldn't hurt to be polite even though they could be in a life threatening situation right? With a final glance around them, Chanyeol concludes that they were indeed safe for the time being, and that he would rather keep his gun in his hands to get properly prepared for any possible moment when a zombie would come limping towards them from the side.

"So what's your name? If you don't mind me asking, that is."

@Park Chanyeol Even with the fact that she’s actually still living with a fellow survivor in an island of madness, Krystal couldn’t describe the relief as her eyes zeroed on a living figure. Another human! At this rate, she would have thought finding another survivor would be impossible. What, with all that what’s left of the place—then again, if she and her partner managed to make it until now, why can’t the others? If it weren’t for her partner, she would have gone crazy by now. Anyone who’d wake up every morning and realize all that what’s left of the place where you’re currently residing are flesh-eating ghouls would lose all the ounce of sanity left. Krystal was no different. She wasn’t even sure if she still had her own sanity anchored.

It took her more than a second to compose herself, swallow back the doubts about the survivor whose arms flailed wildly as he approached, and slam her foot into the brake. She could check for damages and injuries later when he gets in. What she needed now was to make sure the other’s safe, and the coast is clear. And unfortunately, it wasn’t. A few yards were a couple of ghouls approaching, all with their rotten flesh.

She’ll shoot them, but she’s not sure if she’ll even make any damage. Krystal doesn’t really trust the accuracy of her shooting anymore, especially since killing those isn’t as easy as killing humans. And they’re not humans. But it’s better to do something, at least.

Krystal drove her way to the other to shorten the distance, unlocking and pushing the door of the shotgun door open. “Get in!” she shouted, gun drawn and pointing at the zombies behind him. Worst case scenario, she’ll shoot him instead of them. So she waited until the male gets in the car before she could pull the trigger.

@Krystal Jung Chanyeol was never someone who would ever choose sports as his pride and joy, it would never take a high rank in his entertainment list, it was in fact, his nightmare. If you were to name a single sport, Chanyeol would only respond with an immediate scowl, simple as that. It's just how much he hates it. However, the ironic thing is running -which Chanyeol would say is a sport- was all he needed at that moment.

He didn't know how he had gotten into this mess, he honestly didn't. He was in a situation where he -a man who absolutely dislikes breaking sweat- would be seen running down the streets with a bunch of zombies following closely behind him . Occasionally, they would come by a few zombies feasting on dead bodies or even animals by the sides of the road, but upon smelling a fresh prey -which Chanyeol could clearly say was him- they had willingly left their meal to join the chase. That had only left Chanyeol cursing about how he was probably the most unfortunate living man in the world, or maybe even, what was left of it.

It had all taken place too fast, with Chanyeol peacefully strolling along the streets of Downtown when all of a sudden, he passes a store, which had a total of about 11 zombies camping in it. They, of course, made a straight beeline for him, and upon knowing that what he had was of no match for the bunch, he chooses to run instead, feeling relieved about having long legs for once.

It didn't take long for his legs to go weak, all the energy being drained from him by the burning heat of the sun. He begins slowing down, the sound of the moans and groans erupting from the zombies closing in. Chanyeol could feel his end nearing, and with a frustrated sigh, he closes his eyes, silently praying for at least something, or maybe even someone, to appear. As if the gods had heard his prayers, he hears the familiar sound of tires, moving along the road at a comfortable speed. Zombies don't drive, do they?

Chanyeol decides to take a peek, his eyes almost instantly lighting up at the sight of a human, and a car, and what could most probably be his escape. Thus, with all the strength he had left, Chanyeol makes a dash towards the direction of the vehicle, waving his arms wildly, hoping that whoever the person was, could at least offer him the tiniest bit of help.

All he could do now was pray, and wait.

@Park Chanyeol To suffer in a virus-affected island with no ways to get out was definitely not one of Krystal’s list when she listed the pros and cons of her first assignment as an official member of BSAA. Supposedly, she was to act as a spy, even going through such lengths of using a fake identity. Snoop information about the so-called pharmaceutical giant and report to the organization she works for…

And then the apocalypse happened.

The virus carriers were everywhere. The least thing she wanted to happen was to be one of them. The outbreak had been going on for weeks, and with the lack of proper signal in the city because of the wreck, Krystal and her partner was most probably stuck to fend for themselves for until who-knows-when. It was only lucky for them—her and her so-called partner—that they had a hideout. But who knows until when such a place would last? For as far as they know, the monsters out there could be more than just those mindless virus-carriers. With the background of the pharmaceutical company, there was no doubt they had worse.

After having announced she’ll go out to look for supplies, Krystal took off with her car (it was actually her friend’s—a fellow cop who knew her as Lee Bona, her fake persona—but by now she guessed he must probably be one of the zombies; so might as well consider the car hers). Fortunately, gas stations still worked; at least she could live with that.

The sound of the car’s ignition probably attracted the virus-carriers; but she could care less, as long as the car’s moving, they couldn’t catch up. If they do… well, she could shoot one or two or the nearest few.

Then a certain figure came zooming in.

@Kim Namjoon Upon seeing how the stranger meant no harm, Chanyeol lowered his gun, frowning when he saw how the other male actually had a girl on his back.

"What are you two doing here?" He questioned, immediately pulling the two deeper into the store upon hearing the moans being right next door.

He knew that he couldn't be of much help, having that it was his first time out after a long time. However, he felt that even if he meant dying, he couldn't let himself be of no use to saving another's life.

With a low grumble, Chanyeol tucked his gun away, turning towards the stranger with a frown, awaiting his reply.

@Kim Namjoon Chanyeol felt hopeless, useless, and stupid. He never felt so pathetic. With a deep sigh, Chanyeol slid down and leaned his head against the table, mumbling a series of cusses as the moans came closer and closer.

At that moment, Chanyeol heard footsteps. He frowned. It didn't sound like a zombie, no, it was too quick to be one. A human, most probably, had decided to take shelter under the same store as he did.

"He must have seen the maniac." He thought, hands ready on the trigger, just in case, he told himself.

With a deep breath, Chanyeol shot up, whipping his head around with his gun pointed towards the entrance, ready to attack whoever dares make a move on him.

He has to be brave, he told himself.

Chanyeol had finally walked out of his shell, eyes scanning through the streets as he gave out a long sigh, not believing how much he actually missed being outside.

"It must have been ages." He thought, tightening his grip on the gun ever so slightly.

The male then proceeded towards the streets of Downtown, eyes darting around with his hands kept glued to his sides. The place was eerily silent, and it sent shivers down Chanyeol's spine. Whatever it is, Chanyeol did not like it at all.

It was then he spotted something in a distance, a zombie, he soon finds out, munching on what seemed like an animal. Chnayeol didn't need to think twice before he darted into a nearby store, making his way behind a table with a sigh, leaning against it as he glanced down at the gun in his hand.

He could see how he was trembling, palms sweating as he released shaky breaths. He was nervous, and most importantly afraid. He finally manages to walk out of his own house, only to be risking his life.

Chanyeol could hear the moans of the zombie closing in, and he concluded that he was going to die. It was then it hit him, he had a gun, what was he afraid of?

"Death, that's what I'm afraid of." Chanyeol whispered, bringing his hands up to his face with a groan.

Maybe he wasn't ready to face reality after all.

She knew going downtown was stupid, like most of her decisions. But hey! Going anywhere these days are beyond idiotic. With nowhere to hide she decided she might as well go somewhere most wouldn't. Downtown.

Luckily a few street shops had food left over that she was able to munch on and plenty of alleyways she could escape to if she had to. And the streets where the clearest she'd ever seen them. Honestly I wasn't that bad in the downtown area.

As she munched on a random leftover, and stale, bun she heard a noise. A clanging of pots noise from one of the nearby venders. She widened her eyes from the sound of pots and pans crashing to the ground and looked around her.

Noise was not good. Mindy stuck the bun in and hid in one of the alleyways hoping whoever, or whatever, had made that noise didn't see her. But it was most likely they had since she had basically been walking in the middle of the streets.

She reached in her pocket for her gun just in case and almost dropped the bun from when she felt that it was gone. As Minzy looked for it she finally spotted it. In the street. In the middle of the street. In direct sight of the vender where the noise had come from.

Either continue without her gun or run and get it, possibly getting spotted, sniped, or attacked. She was screwed. But what the heck? She was going to die anyways.

"Fall back, soldier!"

She didn't know his name. The statement wasn't out of disrespect; it was the heat of the moment. His life was in danger, yet he continued to move towards his supposed "objective". There was a door before him and the SOA Operative, and there was a loud noise booming within their surroundings. It was coming from the very door he was trying to open.

"Shut up!" the man clad in a BSAA uniform retorted, looking back at the woman. "My team is in there!"

"Your team is dead, man! Don't you get it?! Can you not hear what's happening? Do NOT open that door, that's an order!"

Although she wasn't head of his unit, Sable Cross was still a higher rank. She would've expected him to at least think about what she was saying.

And he did.

But the hesitation wasn't for very long. In the blink of an eye, the soldier dashed for the door, causing Sable to widen her eyes.

"No, you idiot!"

Of course, it was too late. The doors were free to fly open, as they did to the swing of the soldier's arms. In the large room was a large inhuman being, it's hand raised high. With a sharp scream, the soldier was smacked down into the floor with a thunderous smack. Sable looked away before she glared.

"So that's the BOW that was clearing house...." Readying her assault rifle, she looked down at the fallen soldier. A sigh escaped her lips as her eyes quickly shifted back to the beast. "Hope it was worth it, soldier."
