@[A] Sandara Park Kyungsoo didn't know why he felt so surprised at Dara's presence. He knew that she worked at the circus (although he really didn't believe that the circus would hire such a childish, innocuous girl as a ringmaster's assistant. With her energetic, bubbly personality and knack for adventure, she would probably somehow injure herself helping everyone there. Kyungsoo was not one to judge by appearance but he genuinely thought that Dara would not be fit to work in such odd place). Kyungsoo gazed at her, admiring how her luxuriant blonde tresses cascaded half way down her back, then his eyes trailed down to appreciate her feminine curves and petite frame accentuated by the appropriately fitting gown. He let out a chuckle because she actually looked beautiful tonight because she emanated an foreign, combined aura of maturity and woman-esque qualities.

"Instead of dressing like you've just frickle frackled a trash can, you might want to dress like this all the time," Kyungsoo snickered as he flashed a teasing grin at her way, "and who knows, maybe a certain someone will fall hopelessly and utterly in love with you." His comment was slightly offensive yet flattering - Kyungsoo's unique way of complimenting someone.

Kyungsoo tucked his hand behind his back as he held out the other for Dara to hold, "About that dance, will you join me for the dance?" He then bowed like the swell gentleman he was planning to be tonight despite his casual attire that did not easily blend in with the sea of sophisticated onyx black suits and classy, resplendent gowns weaving in and out of the palace. "Are you not going to take my hand? I swear to god, Dara, I can't have my pride completely crushed at the beginning of the night, so take my hand because I will not move from this exact spot until I feel another hand hold mine."

@[D] Do Kyungsoo The Midnight Dinner was a huge event and although it should be a festive night, spent with dancing and laughter and a lot of fun, the Ringmaster's Assistent has found herself being called in for an emergency, thus leaving the Palace for a while, only to find out that the emergency she had been called in for, was 'a really, really severe crisis' one of her friends found herself in. "I don't know what to wear." After half an hour of ensuring her friend that she looked beautiful, mesmerizing to an extent no one could look away from her, she was happily sent away, her friend putting on make-up, because that was a thing Dara was imcapable of, using her illusions if she ever needed people to see her face highlighted with light shades of rose or make-up around her eyes.

And so she was on her way back to the big event now, at least not having missed the grande opening dance, although she wished she had, for her heart would not be not broken and shattered into little pieces now. She would have probably stayed away, not going back anymore, if she wasn't expected to blend in with the masses and greet people, making contacts or refreshing old ones. After all, she was Heechul's assistant and a day like this could be used meanfully to broaden the Circus's network. Hurrying down the corridor, she felt a little like Cinderella, although she was running towards the ball room instead of escaping from it, the silky white of her long, wide gown moving along with each step, until she swirled around, someone having called for her. It didn't take long until she recognized the person in front of her.

"Kyungsoo," she smiled brightly, bowing lightly as a greeting, once he had reached her. The initial surprise was completely blown away, her mood finally lifting up. "I didn't know you were invited here. Are you going to ask me for a dance?"

After a day at the restaurant, serving a bunch of annoying-as-hell customers, Kyungsoo finally returned to his crappy, flimsy flat. To his surprise, a fancy looking envelope sat in the mail box which was weird as hell because he rarely ever received any mail (unless it were the bills). Kyungsoo was highly suspicious of the letter thing lying forlornly in the olive green mail box. He was tempted to burn it but a part of him was curious as to what it was. Kyungsoo swiftly swiped the letter from the box and proceeded to inspect the thing. "Le Cirque Des Reves," he slowly enunciated, "what the flying frick frack, I aM A TRUE ENGLISHMAN AND I DO NOT LIKE THE FRENCH, SCREW THIS, I HATED TRICOLORE TEXTBOOKS ANYWAYS, FRENCH CLASSES WERE THE WORST!!!!!!!!11" Kyungsoo found himself ripping open the envelope because curiosity killed a cat (the cat being Kyungsoo). It turned out to be an invitation to a Midnight Dinner for that weird as hell circus thing he had the misfortune of knowing its existence. And that was the story of how Kyungsoo was notified of this bizarre event.

Fast forward to June 14th, Kyungsoo turned up at the so-called Midnight Dinner because his curiosity was really acting up these days. So here he was in the large, golden corridor, cautiously wading through the bustling crowd, slipping in and out between the figures in the hopes of spotting a familiar face. Whilst doing so, Kyungsoo scanned the sea of people, admiring their extravagant outfits--he felt so out of place in his black blazer, white cotton shirt and his black jeans. Few metres away from where he was, Kyungsoo's eyes caught the sight of familiar-looking figure, a long, dyed, blonde hair and petite frame--Dara. A bright smile graced the boy's lips as he quickly made his way towards her.

"Dara!"
