@[i] wendy [sh] Yixing smiles amicably, chuckling inwardly at the one word reply he got from the girl. "Thanks," he says, poking a tongue out at Wendy, then shakes his head at her words, not wanting to agree with anything she had just said. "You look good, trust me. You look good in white," he says, a small laugh escaping his lips, and it reverberates around the room, making it sound more noisy than it was before. "With all the white bandages here," he touches her forehead gently. "And there," the boy says, pointing to her forearm. Yixing grins expectantly at the girl, waiting for the smack on his arm like he always got when he .

Smiling, the older denies everything with a soft 'no' because he knows it's not Wendy's fault that she had been knocked over by a car. He doesn't want her feeling even more guilty about something that wasn't caused by her. "I forgive you," he says quietly, looking down at her and easing himself into the plastic chair that had been his makeshift bed for the past night. "It's not your fault," he reasons. "I mean, I had a part to play in it too." He looks up at her miserably, a grimace on his lips. He remembers the day like it was just hours ago.

@[i] lay [h 5/15] Wendy can't help but to laugh at his statement. That was true, for all the years she had know Yixing, he always looked sleepy. "Adorable." She simply states before handling the glass of water back to him. " I must look terrible don't I.. or not?" She smiles sadly while fiddling with her fingers. " but I definitely look damage." Wendy shakes her head. "It's fine, I'm glad they actually called you, I would have hated that you waited for me along the river without me turning up. I was afraid you were going to think that I stood up on you more or that I was throwing tantrums, but I really wasn't." She recalls the night's event. " I wanted to apologise for acting like an idiot the other day, for making a scene at the shop, for making you upset. I wanted to make it up to you but again, I've probably caused more trouble than I really should have, didn't I?" Wendy questions even though she didn't need an answer. Afterall, Yixing was never the one to agree with all her negativity.

@[i] wendy Yixing can hear shuffling of sheets and soft sounds from the bed, and he looks over his shoulder to find Wendy attempting to sit up, much to his amusement. Her eyes are focused, eyebrows furrowed, and it's been a long time ever since he's seen this much determination from her. He hands the glass over to her carefully, and then pushes the button at the side of her bed, so that she can sit up more comfortably. "Do you need help?" The boy asks, a small smile playing on his lips. "I don't know what happened," he bites his lip guiltily. "I only got the call, and then I came here." He looks down for a moment, not wanting to remember the dread that had washed over him that night. Yixing looks back up in surprise, shaking his head a bit too quickly. "I haven't," he says, denying it completely. "I always look tired anyway," he admits, laughing softly.

@[i] lay [h 5/15] Wendy struggles a little to get up while the other is busying himself with a cup of water. She is barely able to push herself a couple of centimetres up before giving up entirely, reluctantly succumbing to laying on the bed, "I don't really have to answer that question, do I?" She looks up at him and laughs a little, wincing slightly. " But if you do need an answer, I'm not fine, I'm far from being fine, I would think so. I've never been this glad to be alive really." She offers him a grin. "Thank you." Wendy says as she reaches out to take the glass from him, nodding her head. " I..don't remember how it happened or what happened." She furrows her eyebrows slightly, sipping slowly on the water. "And you look tired. Have you been here all day?"
[i] lay 9 years ago
@[i] wendy Yixing wakes up, dazed, and looks around, completely confused. He hears a quiet whine from his right, and turns towards the sound, furrowing his eyebrows. Why was there something beside him? Wait, this isn't the colour of his room, he realises belatedly. The boy pulls the girl into a tight hug, and doesn't let go until he realises that there are no familiar arms around his waist, returning the gesture. He finds this weird, so he pulls away and finds the girl's face scrunched up in pain. "Sorry!" He exclaims in surprise, having forgotten that she was still in pain. Wordlessly, the older boy walks up to the bedside table that has a jug of water on it. He pours water into a glass and holds it out to Wendy. "Can you hold this?" He asks, brows furrowing again out of concern. "Do you feel fine?"

@[i] lay A warm feeling settles deep down inside her heart as she waits for Yixing to wake up from his sleepy state. She wonders how long he has actually been here. He really have too. As the other looks up confused and puzzled, Wendy wants to laugh at the sight of him, how he looks so disheveled and messy. 'So much for being Korea's number idol group.' She wants to tease like how she would do. But the aches and pain are almost unbearable that she lets out a whine instead of a snicker.

There's only so much the younger girl can really do when Yixing finally realises that she's awake and pulls her into a hug. She knows that he's elated and really really relieved - by the look on his face- but she's really in pain. Still, she doesn't let out much of a scream or show much of a painful expression, she doesn't want to worry him no more. She too, is relieved that Yixing can worry no more about her.

"H-hey." She manages, voice raspy, when the other finally releases her, much to her relieve. "Could I get a glass of water?" She asks, offering him a weak smile but nonetheless a smile.

@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] He's been in and out of the hospital for the past few days, but he's lost count of the number of days Wendy's been unconscious. His manager had called him back the day the girl was admitted and he left unwillingly, hopeful for Wendy to regain consciousness. But Yixing's been losing hope, a little each day when he steps into the room to expect a bright smile on a familiar face, but is welcomed by the dark, looking cloud of nothing. He doesn't know what to expect anymore and when he steps into the private room, he drags his feet and faces the floor.

Yixing shakes his head, tired and hopeless, as he plops down on the chair and huffs a sigh of relief - he's been standing up the whole day, and his muscles ache from dance practice. He's too tired to talk to the girl today, so he settles for a mumbled "how have you been" and lays his head on his crossed arms on the bed, finally succumbing to much needed sleep.

He's jolted awake by an onslaught on sloppy yet painful pokes from somewhere. Yixing looks up, confused and muddled, as he looks around the white washed walls. Who had been poking hi- he stops short, finally seeing opened eyes on his best friend's face. Gasping in elation and relief, he pulls the other into a quick hug, not caring if she was hurting anywhere. He was just glad that she was awake.

@[i] lay Wendy didn’t know how long she passed out for, had it been days, hours or minutes? She didn’t quite know. What she knew perfectly well was when the excruciating pain that shot right up her spine and thumping headache she was having. As she took a slow whiff of her surrounding, she could smell the strong disinfectant. Plus, it was almost blinding when she opened her eyes slowly only to be greeted by the plain white walls of the hospital. At least she was still alive. Thank god.

Moving her fingers slowly, she furrows her eyebrows slightly as she briefly touches something – or rather, someone. Tilting her head to side, she catches a glimpse of a tuff of dark brown hair sticking out, face down as the person sleeps. Yixing, she recognizes almost immediately, how could she not? “x-xing.” She calls out softly, voice all raspy. God, how long was she out for? How long had Yixing been by her side? This time, she pokes the other with slightly more strength hoping he’ll wake up soon.

Taking in a deep breathe, she settles for the dull aches of her body and wonders to herself how broken she actually look like because for one, she definitely can’t really feel the lower left of her leg, all she sees is how it’s encased in a cast. Well, well, there goes dancing for a good period of time. And two, she spots the little bandages here and there wrapped or plastered on her body. Three, that there’s definitely one on her head. Heck, she doesn’t even know what day it is or what time of the day or night it was now.

@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] Yixing thought back to when he was sitting alone on that cold bench that didn't ever seem to warm. He had heard the screeching of tyres, screams and shouts from people, but he had thought nothing of it. Was it then that Wendy got hit? He didn't know, and he wasn't thinking straight. All he knew was that he needed to get to the hospital, and fast. Yixing ran towards the place along the road where he always parked his car, and found out it was empty, cold air taking its place. Right, Yixing had been dropped off by the manager, in a complete rush as he was slightly late too. Cursing under his breath, he tried to flag down any passing taxi that could bring him to the hospital. Why did the hospital have to be so far!

A stressful and desperate minute later, Yixing was able to hail a taxi, and get into it and hurriedly told the man where to go to. His heart was still racing, knee bouncing up and down nervously and his right hand on his knee to stop the motion. When the man had called, it sounded like Wendy was in a horrifying shape. Trying to suppress his urge to run out of the car and to the hospital, Yixing found that they had reached in less than ten minutes. Thanking the man and paying quickly, the boy ran into the hospital, up to the receptionist who told him she was still in surgery on the fourth floor.

He ran up the stairs, finding many people crowded around the lift. He waited outside the surgery hall, head cradled in his hands. As the doctor walked out in his scrubs, sighing and taking off his mask, Yixing was off his feet in seconds. "How is she?" He asked, bracing himself for the worst. "She's stable, she's been transferred to room 305." He thanked the doctor profusely, sighing in relief and ran back down to her room. Knocking on the door, he stepped in and found the other girl still unconscious. Yixing shook his head and sat down on the plastic chair in her room. This was mentally exhausting.

@[i] lay Despite the loud honking and loud screeching, Wendy stood rooted to the ground, staring at the bright lights coming closer and closer to her, her heart thumping loudly, she had to run, she was going to get hit but her with fear instilled in her, she couldn't move her feet. 'No, things weren't suppose to turn out like this, Yixing was still waiting for her, they were suppose to be sitting by the river, enjoying the sounds of the tide coming in, eating their favourite kimbap, she still had to apologise for the other day.' She told to herself, a single drop of tear rolling down her cheek.

The impact was fairly big considering at how fast the oncoming car was going at, despite being able to swift slightly to the left and slowing down, it still managed to knock Wendy off her two feet, slightly towards her left side and down on the street. But even with that hit, it didn't stop the driver from running away leaving Wendy to deal with the pain alone. "Help me." She muttered softly before passing out from the immense pain.

@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] Yixing smiled at his phone, locking it again once he made sure he had sent the message. His spirits were lifted, seeing that Wendy had taken the initiative to ask him out this time and although it was late, at least they could meet in between their busy schedules and practices. He leaned back against the cool wooden bench situated right in front of the river, and listened to the sounds of soft waves sloshing against the side of the stone, closing his eyes. Despite the muted noises of car honks and people shouting, he liked that the area around him was quiet, empty, save for a few bikers and people strolling. His phone rang, breaking the silences with the familiar tone of the new song he had just composed, and he swiped his finger across before putting his phone at his ear. "I'm in front of the river, where we always sat last time." He said, grinning although he knew the other couldn't see him. Yixing hummed softly and ended the call a few moments later, legs now crossed on the bench as he waited.

It had been five, no, fifteen minutes and Wendy had said that she was only crossing the road to get to the park. He was confused, was she just having her on? Just as he unlocked his phone screen to call her, he saw Wendy's icon light up on his screen and quickly answered. "Hello?" He said urgently, stopping short when he heard an unfamiliar voice talking to him. "I-I'm a friend of Wendy, yes." He listened, and his hands dropped to his sides, hearing what the other was saying. "I," he took a deep breath, trying to calm himself. "I understand, I'll be there soon." He ended the call, numb and even more confused. Yixing stood up, hands shaking and stood rooted to the ground for a moment, unable to accept what he was just hit with.

Then he ran, and ran and ran, crying and shouting, not caring if he was attracting a lot of attention. He just couldn't lose his best friend. No.

@[i] lay Having heard a ping, Wendy swiped her finger over the lock screen on her phone, opening Yixing's reply, a sigh of relief leaving her lips. "Thank god" she mumbled to herself, thankful that Yixing hadn't left especially how she had treated him during the meeting a couple of weeks back, as far as she could remember, it almost felt like a nightmare. She couldn't bring herself to remember how badly she had treated Yixing and ruining the entire 'date' which was why she had snacks in her hand to make it up to him.

Deciding that she was already reaching and nearby, just a road more to cross, she opted to give him a call instead of texting him - she knew how long-winded her bestfriend could be. "Xing-ah!" She said cheerily the moment she heard the other answer. " I'm about to reach, where exactly are you?" Wendy asked, confirming the other's exact location before hanging up with a couple of byes, each not wanting to really hang up first, how childish, she laughed to herself. Slipping her phone into her back pocket, Wendy waited for the man on the traffic light to turn green before making her way across. What happened to her on fourth step was something she never expect neither could she quite remember, except the bright flash of a car, loud honking and that she never made it to Yixing that night.

@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] Yixing had been waiting for a long time. A long long time, and he was starting to wonder if Wendy was having him on about the two meeting. Perhaps she had sent it on impulse but didn't really mean it. But no, he knew she wasn't the type to do so. Furrowing his eyebrows, the boy checked his phone again, swiping lazily across the screen and went to his messages. Clearly, it was written there that they were supposed to meet at 9.20pm, but it was already 10.05pm and she was no where in sight. Maybe she was caught up in her schedule and was let off late.

Yixing [10.10pm]: im at the same place ╮(╯▽╰)╭ im still waiting dont worry

@[i] lay Wendy had been running late that evening, her day's schedule had over ran and she was way over the time she promised to meet Yixing but nonetheless the girl made her way towards the park just behind her apartment, a hand carrying a bag of kimbap she had made manager oppa buy a while back while they were attending a schedule, Wendy figured they could use some supper that night.

Had it been 45 minutes since the agreed time to meet, Wendy took out her phone, a sigh escaping her lips. No miss call, no miss texts, she hoped that Yixing was still there waiting instead of thinking that she had ditched him. Starting a new message, Wendy punched in a couple of words before sending it to him.

Wendy [10.07pm]: I hope you're still around. sorry (╯︵╰,). I'm on my way.

The tall lad sat himself on the grass, feeling exhausted after the busy schedule throughout the the whole day. His breathing slowly calming down upon scanning his peaceful surroundings. With no suspicious signs of crazed fans or any creepy paparazzi, he takes off his mask and laid on his back, watching the stars glow across the sky. "Ahh... Such peace calms my stress... " he hums softly to himself before closing his eyes and taking a short nap.

@[i] henry "Yeah the quiet sound of the water and the way the sky looks are very relaxing to me as well." Zelo looked up as the last parts of the sunset sky disappeared. He then looked back at Henry. "Are you worried about something? Talking sometimes helps."

@zelo Henry rubbed his arm and looked at the other "me? Always come here at this time, it's more quiet at this time and gives me time to think and relaxes" he admitted with a slight smile before he chuckled "it looks like we were both lost in our thoughts then" he said softly to the other.
[i] zelo [h] 9 years ago
@[i] henry He helped the other man up and apologized once more. "No it's my fault I was lost in my thoughts." Zelo laughed awkwardly and looked around. "But what are you doing out here so late?" Zelo knew he was one to talk, since he was barely an adult and definitely had a curfew.

@zelo Henry was shocked when someone had bumped into him, he looked up when the other grabbed him he smiled slightly after the other helped him and spoke his head "it's ok, it's my thought for daydreaming in the middle of the path" he said and chuckled slightly rubbing his neck slightly.

@[i] henry Zelo was walking along the river looking up at the night sky when he bumped into something... or rather someone he reached out to grab whoever it was knowing that his large stature had most likely knocked them over. "Sorry." He said looking at the other person then bowing once he realized who it was. "Oh."

@zelo Henry walked down the trail of the hen river like he always did when he needed to think for a while, after walking for what seemed like forever he stopped and looked out to the river thinking of everything that had happened since he had debuted and let out a soft sigh.

@[i] henry Zelo had a curfew but that didn't stop him from going all the way to the Han River. He needed to clear his head and he had seen and heard that the park beside the body of water was a good place to do that. He was starting to question whether he could keep working and behaving the way he was currently and if it would be worth it. He sighed and began walking along the trail.

@[i] wendy Yixing could see the other's eyes glistening under the light, tears filling his own after seeing his own best friend start to cry. "I don't believe you," he stated, wrapping his arms around Wendy's small figure for a moment before letting go to hurriedly wipe her tears away. Perhaps his lover would not like what he was doing, but this was his best friend and he wasn't going to just leave her alone. "Do you need me to stay?" He asked, forehead creased, still holding the door open before she could start to close it.

@[i] [h] lay Wendy looked up at him, tears threatening to fall down her pale cheeks once again, a sudden wave of emotions engulfing her. "I'll be fine." She managed to choke out, offering him the best smile she could offer him right now. Leaning up, she gave him a brief hug, hiding her face at the crook of his neck. " thank you, Yixing." She whispered quietly, pulling away before the other could react. "I'll be going in." Wendy continued as she retreated into her little apartment, giving him a wave of her hand.

@[i] wendy Yixing nodded silently, still not quite used to the quiet atmosphere between the two when Wendy used to chat a lot - even if it was small talk, it was never quiet between the two. But now the deafening silence was starting to kill Yixing inside, he didn't like his best friend acting the way she was. "Wendy?" He asked softly, noticing her hesitation to enter her own abode. The boy looked at his watch on his left hand, realising it was early in the morning and he'd have to be at practice in a while. "I won't bother you," he murmured. "You need your sleep."
[i] wendy [sh] 10 years ago
@[i] [h] lay "Thank you." Wendy said with a short reply as the other opened the door, nodding her head once more in silence as she got out of his car. Upon reaching the elevator, she pressed the fifth floor once the other had gotten in. Once again, there was this comfortable deafening silence between them, usually, Wendy wouldn't shut u, she would have everything and anything in the world to talk to Yixing about but apparently today wasn't that day, it felt like her energy was depleting at accelerating speed. She dragged her feet towards her apartment once the elevator doors had opened, stopping in front of it, she hesitated for a moment before punching the code to her house - a place she didn't quite want to be at the moment. "Would you like to come in?" She asked, unsure.

@[i] wendy Hearing nothing from the girl seated in the passenger seat of his car, Yixing looked over to Wendy to see her staring out of the window, silent. He frowned, seeing her down without anyone to comfort her. The boy drove into the basement, parking the car and getting out of it before opening the other's door to bring her home. "Let's go?" He asked, a small smile lingering on his face to let her feel better - as much as he could. Being back to her apartment, he could feel the memories at the back of his mind surface again. As much as he loved Luhan, Wendy was his first love after all. "Fifth floor?"
[i] wendy [sh] 10 years ago
@[i] [h] lay Despite having a strong character that the public always knew about her and how the company portrayed her, frequently associating her with the words happy, cheerful and full of smiles, the real Wendy was nothing like that, sure she was often full of smiles, but nothing like having a strong character, in fact, she was nothing close to that, the real her was sentimental, soft and emotional which was probably the reason why she was feeling so hurt even if it was just two small articles about her boyfriend. Sniffing softly, she looked out the window to a familiar tall building where her resident was before giving Yixing a affirmative nod of her head.

@[i] wendy Yixing shook his head silently, wondering why Tao couldn't have taken better care of her, or possibly refrained from getting into a scandal involving another woman who wasn't his girlfriend. Perhaps Yixing had always been the dedicated one, to not like making the other jealous, but he felt that Tao had taken it to another level - whether intentional or not. The boy could hear a squeaking of the leather in Wendy's seat, signalling a shift in position. As he looked over, she was huddled nearer the door and away from him. He was confused, to say the least, but didn't mention it. Locking the doors and turning up the temperature in case the other got too cold, Yixing made a turn that would lead to Wendy's apartment building. "It's still this one, right?" He asked in a soft tone.
