@[i] suho At Junmyeon’s words, Seunghwan wants to cry, she can already feel the tears welling in her eyes. Instead of letting them flow, she tries to blink them back. But as soon as one drop is trickling down her cheeks, she knows that trying to be strong isn’t quite working out and she breaks down instantly. Wendy doesn’t want Junmyeon to see her in this state, she doesn’t want Junmyeon to see her crying or to see how weak she is. She doesn’t want the leader to take pity on her. She knows that her reason is completely ridiculous and it’s not really a valid one. Especially not with Junmyeon’s confession. Seunghwan doesn’t know what to make of the whole confession. To say she wasn’t taken aback would have been a completely lie but it also churns up something deep inside her. Even though she might be intoxicated, Wendy knows perfectly everything single work the other is saying or what has been actually going on tonight. She knows that he too might be somewhat drunk like she is but nonetheless his confession is filled with nothing but sincerity and it makes her heart flutter just like when she received her first confession years back.
Seunghwan takes in a deep breath trying to keep herself composed, the awkward silence once again filling the room as she takes a sip from the green glass bottle in her hand. She can feel Junmyeon’s intense gaze on her and she wants to tell him to look away but she doesn’t. She chews on her bottom lip as she thinks of what to tell him. What would be the right thing to tell him? She doesn’t want to outright reject him because Junmyeon is clearly what she wants. But she also knows that deep down inside, she hasn’t completely gotten over her ex-boyfriend. The last mistake Seunghwan wants to make is to let Junmyeon think that he’s a rebound. Because he clearly isn’t. Now, she wishes she had gotten over everything earlier so she could simply jump into his arms and kiss him senseless and tell him ‘I want you too’ but that was not going to be it. Not now. She closes her eyes and squishes her face before letting out a frustrated sigh. Not quite bother that Junmyeon was probably staring at her like she was some weirdo.
“Don’t be silly.” Wendy then says the moment she opens her eyes. She sets the bottle on the table top before turning to completely face him. “I would never give you or our friendship up for anything.” She says it in a matter-of-fact tone then she pauses and goes all silent again. “I don’t know what to make of your confession or what to say really” She continues honestly. “You’re there when I need you, you’ve been there to embrace me in your arms when I needed someone. To wipe away my tears, to tell me I’ll be fine even though I probably won’t. To grab hold of my hand before I fall. To be crazy with me and to open my soju bottles even though you really disapprove of it. You’ve always been there, silently or not. You’ve probably seen the test side of me and..” She laughs softly “I’m surprise you still like me because I wouldn’t have put up with someone like myself. And with you, I feel like I can be myself. Like there isn’t anything I need to specially do to impress you. With you, I’m me, I’m Seunghwan.” She scoots closer to him, slipping her cold hands into his. “And maybe this time I really want to be Seunghwan, I want to be your Seunghwan.” She adds then leaning in to steal another chaste kiss on his lips before pulling away. “But I don’t know, Junmyeon. I’m afraid. I’m afraid you’ll think I’m using you as a rebound. I’m afraid of hurting you like I hurt the rest. I’m afraid of breaking your heart. “She looks down at their pair of intertwined fingers, her eyes filled with nothing but sadness. “I don’t want to ever lose you like how I’ve lost the rest. I can’t bear to lose anyone anymore.” Seunghwan reaches up to wipe her tears with the back of her hands without really letting go of his. “I can’t even describe the way you really make me feel.” She chuckles amongst the dampened atmosphere surrounding them. “You make my heart palpitate and you dig up all those long forgotten feelings when I was once in love. I really don’t know what to make do with those feeling.” Despite his confession, she feels somewhat conflicted and sad inside. Without saying much, she leans into him, resting her chin on his shoulders and her arms around his waist. “I like you too. Junmyeon-ah. My heart doesn’t want to say no. Because I clearly know I want you. If I say yes, what if I hurt you. I don’t want to hurt you. Tell me what to do just like you always do.” Seunghwan finishes.
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] He turned his countenance towards her as soon as she got back, watching as he sees her struggle even with the soju bottle's cap. Without any exchange of words, he accepted the unopened bottle from the girl, opening it without any conflict. Junmyeon looked down at the bottle he was holding, realizing that his interminable stare might've caused uneasiness to the other. "Why would you like me?" A question escaped from her lips. Junmyeon looked up with interest, knowing that this just shattered the silence. His thoughts have went deeper, knowing that this was one of those moments that couldn't happen again once it goes wrong. He didn't want to answer with a platitude line saying, 'Because you got everything I've dreamed of.' Or even by basic sarcasm going with, 'Is it wrong to like you?' The side of his lips curled up to a small smile. "What's not there to like about you?" He responds her back with another question. Junmyeon gave the opened bottle a last glance before handling it back to her, his eyes keeping contact with hers as he did. "I've been hiding in my shell for too long. Even if my following words will turn out cliché, just remember that at least I'm stating what my heart says which is nothing but the truth." He added, a glimpse of joking nowhere to be found anymore on his face. "You've got the entire forest out there to choose from, why would you fall for someone as broken as I am. I've dated the members in your group, slept with them even." Wendy explained. With no more lies to be spoken, Suho admits that he felt a sting in his chest when he heard her say things that pointed out nothing but the distressing truth. She might've shared multiple kisses with other people, added by the fact that some of them were s, ones that he considered brothers to be specific. Had with them even. "I'm probably not worth your time at all, you deserve someone better." She continued. Junmyeon began taking deep breaths. The sound of that sentence made him innerly remonstrate with multiple reasons to be explained. Although he, himself, wasn't sure if Wendy would actually deserve someone like him. But this moment, Junmyeon vowed to obliterate every negative thoughts. A scoff had came off from Junmyeon. "Kissing, hugging, taking them underneath the sheets...bull." A chuckle came after. He wasn't aware of what he was actually saying. A curse that came out from his mouth was something he least expected. He wasn't sure if it was because he was half-drunk or if it was because it's something that his inner self wanted to voice out. "If you think those things could make me just go off and pretend that I didn't like you in the first place, it may sting but I won't let it cross the line." He paused. If a speech was indispensable just for him to explain to her why he likes her, even an extemporaneous speech can come out from his mouth without any hesitations. "It may have happened in the past, whether it was earlier, yesterday, last week, or whenever, you can't actually change it. Should I cry over it? Am I supposed to be mad at you? No. I have a clear reason why I should like you and those things that you've mentioned...I don't really care. I liked you not because you're pretty, nor because I know you're amenable with those kinds of stuff. I liked you because you're simply being you. You're my bestfriend, someone I find comfort, someone who stood beside me despite all the challenges, someone I liked for a long time now. Whether you've changed multiple times, I like the fact that you still keep that one side of you, wherein I can still meet the Son Seungwan that I've first met." He ended with a sigh. The eye contact was cut off, hoping that the latter wouldn't see the troubled expression planted on his face right now. "But whatever decision you made, I hope this friendship wouldn't be ending like my feelings for you will if you ever...say no."
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] Kissing her back probably caused incertitude to the latter. It didn't turn out to be one of those forceful ones that rather happen for those who crave for a ual . For Junmyeon, it was gentle and sweet. Special for the fact it was his first kiss after all. There were other probabilities that could've happen instead of his unexpected return of affection. He was expecting a slap for no discernible reason. He could've pushed her away because he was startled at her sudden act. Ha, but no. Could it be because he was much of a gentleman? Or was it simply because he liked it? No lies, it went with the latter. Perhaps, a side of Kim Junmyeon is a view of a man with a solemn state of mind. However, a deeper view of the said lad is only a credulous person who is mindless about things such as love. For a second back, he felt all the positive emotions a person can feel all at the same time. Though unfortunately, it got downgraded into a neutral state as the kiss broke off. How everything happened so fast, Junmyeon didn't wait for any more words to be traded just to state out his mini confession. His breath hitched, not even giving himself a chance to breathe just to say it. How his body feels far from accustomed throughout the whole night, he was sure to fall into a deep slumber only when everyone is already having their own breakfast.
How his eyes contacted hers, a look of perplexity was all he can see. Did he say it at the wrong time? How she seemed to be taken back by what he said, Junmyeon felt guilt running through his vessels, maybe he shouldn't have confessed. He gulped as he felt the awkwardness once again extending through the air. "You must be half drunk." She said. Well, indeed he was. He was incognizant of what he was saying probably. However, one thought made him question. "But didn't you say drunk people speak nothing but the truth?" He asked. It appeared to be a childish one to say. Nevertheless, he wanted to prove that he was sure of his words. "Even though, I'm only half drunk. I wouldn't be lying when it comes to this...discrete topic." He elucidated. His eyes only followed her figure as she went to get another bottle of soju. Without even letting out a yes or a no, because for sure the latter took his silence as an agreement to her own question. Junmyeon's problems regarding health and all those against alcohol were nowhere to be found right now. He admittedly craves for it and is willing to be completely inebriated even just for one night.
@[i] suho o The way Junmyeon kisses her back is nothing like needy or lustful instead he approaches her with slight caution and possibly fondness - Wendy had a fair share of kisses to be able to tell the difference. It would have been a lie if Wendy said that she regretted being so brazen about it. Except, it suddenly dawned to her in the middle of the kiss that she's (possibly) drunk and kissing her bestfriend, Junmyeon. Okay, maybe she does regret a little because what if Junmyeon didn't like? Or if he took offence to it? Wendy questions herself. But if he didn't like it, he could have pushed her away but instead he was kissing her back. That didn't make much sense. It felt like both the angel and the demon were sitting on either side of her shoulder, whispering things into her ears, making her a tad bit confused with her actions. Reluctantly, she pulled away from the kiss, opening her eyes so she could catch Junmyeon's expression. Seeing the latter's mild confusion on his face, Wendy opened about to whisper a 'sorry' instead he beat her to it with his sudden confession that caught her off guard.
Wendy swore her eyes could never been as big as it was right now." w-what?" She asked, blinking her doe eyes at him. Did she hear him wrongly? Did Junmyeon just confessed to her? She wasn't hearing things right? Nope, she was sure she wasn't, not when Junmyeon is looking at her with expectant eyes, waiting for an answer of some sort. Wendy breaks the silence once more, an awkward laugh leaving her lips first. "You must be half drunk." She said, remembering about the question he had asked early on. Wendy wonders then if her answer or rather her reaction was a disappointment to him. Not wanting to make the situation more awkward, Wendy attempts to get up from the cold floor and onto her two feet. "Should I get you a bottle too? Or we could share." She offered, making her way towards the fridge to grab another bottle of cold soju. This was definitely going to be a long night.
Returning to his side once more, Wendy struggles with the bottle cap as much as she struggles with her own thoughts before handing it to him, a pleading look in her eyes. "Why would you like me." She questions him with much curiousity as she nervous plays with the hem of her top, waiting for him to return her the bottle of opened alcohol beverage "You've got the entire forest out there to choose from, why would you fall for someone as broken as I am. I've dated the members in your group, slept with them even" Wendy explained, pausing for a moment, expecting nothing but a disgusted reaction from him before she continues "I'm probably not worth your time at all, you deserve someone better." She said, leaning against the couch with her eyes closed. Between Jumnyeon and her, there wasn't much to hide, just like Yixing, there was nothing Junmyeon didn't know, her past relationships or anything she had done. Perhaps Wendy wanted to love again and there was no doubt Junmyeon was a good candidate, except maybe she was just a tad bit afraid, afraid of loving him, afraid of hurting someone she love again.
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] He becomes a little lightheaded, the effect of the drink played its game a little too early. Suho's low tolerance towards alcohol didn't help at all. He shut his eyes close due to the duplicate vision that he's seeing. He became more inscrutable, unable for his mind to even function properly to whatever is happening right now. The lad shot back to reality as Wendy stated out his name, probably taken back by his actions earlier. He watched at how the other took the bottle from him, placing it on the table. "Why not? That's how people usually drink." He raised his eyebrow in confusion. Suho gazed at her, as if there was something on her face. But no, his dizziness was dominating him and the only thing in his mind was her. "Well, let's say I am a little drunk." He scoffed before detaching the stare, shaking his head to at least ease the dizziness. The television once again caught his attention. It wasn't an enthralling show that was being shown. He was blank again, staring off at a random distance. It was an ordinary night talk show going on. Hearing was probably a sense that he couldn't benefit from right now. The silence had impaired him and emptiness was in his mind. The light of the electronic in front was probably the only thing that lit up the room. There were many things that he could be bothering about like how can he return home in this state, but nope, not in Junmyeon's current condition.
After a few minutes, which actually seem like hours to Junmyeon, someone opted to break the exasperating silence. Exactly after Junmyeon tore his vision from the television, also feeling a precise burn in his eyes after not considering blinking during his deceptive staring contest with an inanimate object. Now he ponders on how he looked during the silence. But hey, at least his mind is functioning more properly than before. Suho stole a glance from Wendy as she said something that broke the silence. Why is he here in the first place? He, himself, couldn't seem to answer the same question. "Because..." He trailed off. Should he say that he was concerned? Troubled thinking that something might happen because of her drunken state? "I was worried." Words escaped from his mouth, with that he reasoned no more. "You know.. they say that drunk people only speak nothing but the truth." She said. His ears perked up in sudden interest, he adjusted his position, fully facing the girl beside. "Does half-drunk people include?" Suho questioned. A part of him is already dead, yes, but he was precise with his words. Actions? Maybe. His eyes never left Wendy's, as if he can scrutinize what she was thinking. Who was Wendy to him? There are millions to explain. She's a label mate, a friend, someone that provides him sufficient comfort. And she's someone Junmyeon likes — loves if ever he realizes that his feelings are deeper than he expected.
"I wasn't lying when I said you were good-looking." She added on. Junmyeon's world paused for a moment right there. He convinces himself to think that she's just drunk that makes her say such things. Then he realizes, 'drunk people speak nothing but the truth.' Sure he heard that he was 'good-looking' constantly. But something makes it unique whenever it comes from her. Words were tangled in Suho's tounge. He couldn't say anything and remained still, until he felt the latter's lips on his. Suho's heartbeat speeds up. His mind couldn't tell if it was reality, because it felt more of a dream. It didn't take long before he finds himself her kissing back. He felt adrenaline rush all over. The kiss was pulled off, and it seemed like Junmyeon couldn't take it anymore then he slowly confessed, "I...like you."
@[i] suho At her comment, Wendy couldn't help but to notice Junmyeon's reaction, his pale cheeks turning into a light shade of red which honestly took her by surprise. She was sure being praised for having good looks was a common reoccurance for the leader, he would have likely heard that countless times from many others be it male or female likewise so why would he be blushing at her words? she wondered as she stifled a giggle. As the other took the space beside her, Wendy turned her attention from him then back to the television but not quite watching it, rather, she was just spacing out. The silence lasted for a little, with Wendy occasionally taking glances between Junmyeon and the television and then back at him, the bottle in his hand and back at the televsion until she gave up, eyes closing slightly as the alcohol was starting to take it's effect. Just as she was about to fall asleep, she felt Junmyeon fidgeting slightly. With his sudden movement, she cracked an eye open, noticing how Junmyeon already had her bottle of soju against his lips, head tilting backwards as he emptied the contents into his mouth, a chortle following after. "Kim Jumyeon!" She said with a slight panic in her voice, eyes widening by a fraction. "You're not suppose to drink it like that, silly" She chides, snatching the bottle from him instead. Wendy knew Junmyeon well enough to know that he wasn't much of a drinker and that he couldn't hold his liquor well, afterall, health had always been his number one priority. "You're gonna get yourself drunk." She said, giving him a deadpan look before placing the bottle on the table.
Sighing, Wendy then broke the deafening silence that seemed to have fallen between them once again after the other had pulled his earlier stunt. "What are you actually doing here, Junmyeon. I told you I was fine over the phone. You really didn't have to come all the way here to make sure I was fine, I am. " She said, not meaning it a way that she didn't want him here, honestly she could have used some comapny and Junmyeon was a good one anyway. "You know.. they say that drunk people only speak nothing but the truth." She then added, turning her head sideway to take a good look at him, how could she have not noticed Junmyeon before, how he (like Yixing) had always been there for her, made sure she was well fed and taken care of, always on a constant look out for her. Maybe it was the fact that she was in a relationship previous and everything else didn't quite matter but now that she wasn't, it an entirely different thing. Wendy could now see clearly the people who had always been there for her, picking her up when she fell or whenever she messed herself up and Jumyeon was one of them.
"I wasn't lying when I said you were good-looking." She let out a breathy laughter, if Junmyeon's choice was to ignore her earlier on, he really couldn't have avioded this any longer. She didn't know what came over her, perhaps it had been the alcohol that was playing tricks on her mind, making her mind all fuzzy or maybe she had been feeling rather lonely recently but whatever it was, what she did next was something neither of them had really expected.Without any other words following her statement after, she leaned in pressing a gentle kiss against his lips
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] With no abundant knowledge on how to deal with a drunk person, that left Suho with total blankness in mind. Should he just give her drink back? No, that would leave stupidness on why he stole it from her in the first place. Should he leave? That would be absurd, why would he even travel all the way here if he would just leave her? Should he drink with her then? He would if he please. Should he just blurt out what comes up in his mind? Justifiable but risky. This was one of those cliché scenes in dramas. Even though it was, Junmyeon comprehends that it was indeed tensive to be in a similar situation. Being drunk or being with a drunken person was labelled as one of those rare moments in Kim Junmyeon's life. He rarely drinks liquor for he believes that it damages your health or even self image if you include. He couldn't even remember what he did the last time he drink. But whatever it was, it's a horrendous memory. In Wendy's case, however, even if the lack of experience was an obstruct in resolving this night's situation, Suho can't just simply leave her behind. He wants her to feel better. The question was — how? Despite being associated with women, cases of break ups were still unusual for him to handle. Should he mourn with her then? He hadn't experience being broken hearted since birth in the first place. It was evident that Junmyeon was running out of ideas, considering the fact that his thinking tragically fell down from smartass to .
"How can anyone look so good even when he's annoyed, Junmyeon-oppa." He heard the latter say. He didn't know how he should feel, but he could already feel shade of red starting to rest on his pale cheeks. He took a gulp, questioning if he should be flattered or pretend that she didn't say it at all. Suho forced himself to go for the second. He heaved a sigh, dropping down on the cold floor, occupying the space next to her. His fingers were busy playing with the bottle in his hand that he had snatched from the girl earlier. Suho's head faced the lass, admiring her side profile, noticing drowsiness that started to rest on her face. His eyes went from her, to the television, to the bottle then repeat. Another round of silence had its show again, as if it can do anything to end the night successfully. Suho's eyes ended its cycle by staring at the bottle that he never removed from his hand. With the state of being vacuous, he carelessly brought the bottle up to his lips, gulping down the alcoholic beverage, being mindless whether the latter had drank from it earlier. After an uninterrupted drink, his opposite hand wiped his mouth, his eyes closed for the moment as he felt burning sensation in his throat. Suho stared at the television before he released a chortle, bringing up the empty bottle of liquor. "How exactly does this satisfy you?" He carelessly asked without even taking away his attention from the television.
@[i] lay "You know I will be." Wendy said, voice cracking slightly. "I just need some time alone but I will be." She reassured him, even though she meant to say it with confidence there was nothing of that sort in her tone, saying that was almost like she was berating herself to get her together and get better.
"Xing-ah." She started out softly, reaching out to hold his hand before he made his departure. "I wish I know how you really felt last time, I wish I could have been a better girlfriend and I wish I could have been a pillar of support for you. I'm so sorry." She said, pressing her lips into a thin line. "But thank you for being my pillar of support even after so long. Thank you for always being there, to pick me up when I fall, to hold me when I need it, to wipe my tears away when I cry, for everything." She continued, voice laced with sincerity, tip-toeing as leaning to press a chaste kiss against his cheeks. "I'm so happy you found Luhan, I'm happy he could be the pillar I couldn't be. I'm happy that you are happy." Despite having supposedly let her feelings go for Yixing previously, she found herself feeling a slight twinge of heartache at those words even though she meant it. "I'll go in now. You should leave too." She said softly, unlocking the door to her apartment, stepping in and closing the door before she could hear his reply, if he had one.
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] "There's really nothing to be sorry for," he commented quietly. "Believe me." He said earnestly, nodding at her with wide eyes to show that he really meant what he said. None of this was her fault, perhaps it was more of Yixing's for bringing her out. "We'll always have a next time," he nudged her playfully, smiling at the other. "But it's really okay." He assured, patting her head gently and chuckling under his breath.
He walked with the other and nodded, stopping in front of her apartment door and looked down at her. Eyes widening slightly, eyebrows lifting a little, he was caught off guard when he felt soft fingertips caressing his cheeks, softly but firmly. He closed his eyes, not wanting to push them away but she took them away just as quickly. "I hope you'll be fine," he said, not sure whether or not to leave.
@[i] lay "There is. I'm sorry" Wendy replied, having another loud sigh as she pressed the button to the elevator then patiently for it to arrive before she got in together with the male. "I promise to be better next time we hang out together." She continued, looking up at Yixing with an apologetic look, offering him a tiny tiny smile even though she wasn't really up for it.
It was only a couple of steps from the elevator to her house, stopping just outside her door, she took another look at Yixing, how he had been so happy upon arriving early on but then again perplex now that they've returned and it was all because of her. "I'll see you again yeah?" She asked, reaching up to gently caress his cheeks before dropping her hands completely. "I'll be fine."
@[i] wendy [hiatus till 04/03] Yixing locked the car door and pocketed his keys, jogging lightly to catch up and walk next to Wendy. Her eyes were downcast, shoulders slumped and Yixing wanted nothing but to hug the other until she was laughing and smiling, and laughing. Then everything would be alright. She was dragging her legs tiredly towards the lift, aura surrounding her dark and just sad. He didn't know what he did to make her to distant and unresponsive. Was it Yixing's own fault?
"There's nothing to me sorry for," he said in the same volume as hers, not wanting to break the silence between them although it was slightly oppressing. Lifting up his hand, he comfortably slung his arm around her shoulder and squeezed it gently, wanting to assure her that everything would be alright in the end. Yixing resolved to make everything fine for Wendy, no matter how much effort it took, no matter how many relationships he'd have to break.
@[i] lay Wendy knew very well of Yixing's good intentions, the words that he wanted to say, the things he wanted to convey, Wendy knew all of those. What she didn't know was why she was acting up like this, purposely acting so distant from him, purposely saying things that she didn't mean or causing him to feel so sad or upset with her actions. Wendy wanted to apologise (more than she already had previously) but words weren't coming out, she hated the fact how tongue-tied she was. Bottom line, Wendy was just starting to hate herself and every of her actions.
With the car coming to a halt, Wendy opened the door, her actions tired and weak like she her energy had been drained completely but in actual fact, they didn't really do much. It was more mentally tired rather than physically. With a sigh, she stepped out, closing the door shut behind her. "Thank you, xing-ah and sorry." She said softly as she walked alongside with the older male beside her towards her apartment.
@[i] suho It had been way too long, it had been days, weeks and even months since the big break up and Wendy felt like she was over this whole issue (or so she thought so). She had been telling herself countless times - ever since the dinner with Yixing who tried to talk sense into her - that she was over this, she was over the fact her previous boyfriend had walked out of her life and that she meant nothing to him anymore, that life still had to carry, he had moved on and so should she. Time waits for no one afterall. But despite all this self convincing, Wendy found herself once again cooped up in her little humble abode that evening having completed her day's schedule, seated on the couch with her first bottle of soju in her hand. One became two, two became three, by the time she was done with the third bottle, it was positive that Wendy was a completely goner but even that didn't stop her from getting up and walking (or more like swaying side to side) to her fridge to get her fourth bottle. Wendy didn't know when she had started this unhealthy obession of drinking to forget her troubles and her saddness. Perhaps it had been that night after the break up when her friends brought her to the bar, filled her glass with drinks after drinks until she was completely out, she woke up with a crazy headache but that was it, she made it through the night without the need of thinking about those unecessary thoughts and it had been like that since then.
Into her fourth bottle, Wendy found herself sitting on the floor, television switched on, the other empty bottles laying on table as she stared into space, feeling extremely sleepy and not to mention drunk - which was good in her opinion, thinking was the least she wanted to do so now- and maybe she should finish this and get to bed, there was still work to be done tomorrow. Just as she picked the bottle up from the table, her ears perked up at the soft click from the door signifying someone had unlocked her door. Weird, she thought to herself, no one had informed her that they were dropping by plus the there was only a few that had the pass code to her apartment and she hope it would be someone she knew, she was not going to defeat any crook in her state. As the door opened, she squinted slightly at a small figure walking in. 'ah.' she said to herself, furrowing her eyebrows slightly as she tried to process who had came in but before she knew it, the figure had already approached her, snatching the bottle of alcohol in her hand but instead of looking upset, she gave him a little smile remembering he had called early on. "How can anyone look so good even when he's annoyed, Junmyeon-oppa." Was all she said as she stared at Junmyeon, completely ingoring his statement and how upset and piffed he looked.
Releasing a deep sigh, running his fingers through his hair. It was the usual perturbed state of Kim Junmyeon. He shot a look at the screen of his device that rested in his palm, glancing at the screen of the ended call. It didn't take any longer before he snatched his car keys from the coffee table and his coat that rested on the leather couch, heading out from his perquisite apartment. It was near midnight. The city of Seoul was an example of a composed place, where it was free to go out to clear your mind. The stars coruscating in such beauty, a small group of trees together with the wind, reflecting the tranquility of the place. However, it didn't keep Junmyeon from the troubled state that he's in right now. Despite the beautiful view, the only concern of him was his friend, Wendy. Judging on how she picked up his call from earlier, her voice made him felt uneasy. Her tone was different and wavering. Suho knew she was drunk. It's something that made his eyebrows furrow in such concern. Ever since her infamous break up, Suho watched as her state changed from bad to worse. He would do anything for Seungwan to emerge from her dejection, he was willing to take all her sorrows even if he's still keeping one that delineates his feelings towards her. Yes, as much as it wasn't supposed to be truism, he does keep a clandestine emotion for Seungwan. However, he was much of a coward to describe when it comes to confessions. Additional to the fact that he shouldn't do it considering her state right now. Even if he was a coward in stating out passionate feelings, he was willing to be brave for a person he cherishes dearly.
Reaching in front of his friend's complex, he didn't hesitate any longer and went into the building. As soon as he stood in front of Wendy's apartment, he examined the hallway, just so he doesn't appear as a thief or whatsoever, before pressing specific numbers for the passcode. As soon as the door was stated unlock, Junmyeon slowly pushed the door open, revealing the haphazard room that he quickly noticed. His physique led him inside, discerning more of the place. He visualized the earlier events that made the place looked so wreck. For a person in an emotional state, it wasn't even close to being contentious. Suho snapped back, realizing why he was originally here for. It wasn't even three seconds for him to sight Wendy, and when he did, his tracks fastened to get near her. Intoxicating smell of alcohol filled his nose, his facial muscles twitched in slight annoyance. His hand carefully snatching away the bottle in the lass's hands. "You don't have to do this," He softly voiced out, with a dispirited expression on his countenance.
@[i] eunji It had been a tough month for Wendy, both mentally and physically. It was probably not the ideal way to start the New year with a series of heart aches. It had been a week since her recent break up with Taehyun, two weeks after the row with Zitao and a couple of day since she had left her apart. The only thing she could be thankful for was the two weeks break given to her group by the company. Buried under the cover the duvet, Wendy huddle herself, feeling almost pathetic for herself. Who was she to blame anyone but herself. Hearing the someone at the door knock twice, Wendy contemplated on whether to ignore it (afterall, the last she remembered opening the door to was also a surprise visit from Taehyun that result in a break up. Nope she didn't want to handle that again.) Just as she was about to close her eyes, there was another knock on the door. Groaning softly, Wendy got up, looking completely in a mess as she trudge towards the door. "Who is it?" She shouted with little energy, peeking through the hole only to see none other than her best friend, Eunji. Heaving a sigh, she opened the door slightly. "H-hey." She croaked out then taking a step back to open the door completely. "You should have said you were coming. It's a mess inside.."
@[i] wendy [h] Although it wasn't unusual for Eunji to decide on popping unexpected visits to her dear friend, she had decided to spare some of her free time during on of her rare days off from tiring dance practices and hoping for an escape from something rather than the smell of sweat of the practice dance studio. With their latest promotions with LUV now done, they were currently in preparations for their next album and comeback. Finally she retrieves her phone from her back pocket, relocating her friend's address on her phone before continuing down the hallway, proceeding pass the main lobby and to the elevator, feeling much too lazy to actually use the stairs for a change. After all, their group's late night practice had seemed to make each step only gradually tiring herself out with every sore muscle aching in protest. Ignoring the tugs of her obviously overworked muscles, she finally reaches the correct door, knocking on it lightly as she fiddled with the ends of her braids, glancing down quickly at her device to check the time.
@[i] luhan Her little figure all hidden in between the sheets, duvet pulled over her body, body curled up to keep her warm, wendy opened her eyes, squinting at the little evening sun that was shining through her window, she couldn't remember when but she had be out for more than a day or two. December's winter had been bitter this year, the wind stronger than the previous year, she had unfortunately caught a cold which had escalated quickly into a fever. Hearing the door three times, Wendy could barely squeak out " It's open.", hoping that whoever was on the side of the door could hear and also hopefully someone she knew. Hearing the other come in, Wendy turned around, popping her head from under the duvet, sighing in relief that it was no one other than Luhan. "Hey." She said, voice raspy and clearly unwell.
@[i] wendy Luhan was heading to Wendy's apartment, hands on his pockets and a hoodie over his head. He was listening to music with his earphones plugged in his ears as he walked and had his sunglasses on his eyes. He could have swore tha some people stared at him more than it was necessary but then again, he paid no attention to them and just continued walking. Once he was in fornt of the girl's door, he knocked on it three time to be specific and waited patiently for her to open it. He got the news by Irene, that Wendy was feeling down lately, he had fallen sick. And Luhan, as her best friend now, wanted to help her recover a bit. He hoped that his presemce could be of help for her actually. His mind started to wonder while he was there, in front of her apartment waiting, some of those thoughts related to Yixing. His boyfriend that now had proposed to him, or he proposed to Yixing? It was complicated but he was happy nevertheless. He looked at his engagement ring and his gaze turned soft, with a smile on tugging on the corners of his lips.
@[i] [h] lay Wendy could sense his hesitation - perhaps because of Luhan, if she could have brought herself to be more selfish she would have said yes without thinking twice but Yixing was her best friend and so was Luhan and she would do anything to avoid anything that would jeopardise them or even cause a minor conflict, this was afterall her own problem, her own boyfriend and there was no need bring someone else in to this. "You should go." Wendy said softly, hands fiddling with the handle of the door. "You know I'll be okay. It isn't the first time I was left alone at home with a hurting heart." She mumbled softly, referring to the time when they both had decided break up when Yixing didn't love her as much as she did, she remembered having mope in her room for at least a week before going out. "I'll cry but I'll be fine. I'll always be fine." She continued.
@[i] wendy "If you want me to," Yixing said softly, hesitant to stay but also not wanting to leave the girl while she wasn't exactly very stable in terms of her emotions. Nonetheless, he knew too, that both Zitao and Luhan wouldn't like it if they came back to a scandal saying that Yixing was staying over at Wendy's place. The boy peered into the half-open door to look at the other's face. "Are you sure you'll be okay?" He asked again, now in a more urgent manner. Perhaps it would be more convenient for him to stay over, so he could bring her to their company together.
@[i] [h] lay "Do you want to stay?" Wendy asked, her pair of glistening eyes finally looking up and into Yixing's. As much as how wrong it seemed considering both of them had other other halves and what made it seems even more wrong was that they were both exes and it was oddly enpugh that were both bestfriends despite the past and she knew that there were rumours and comments about them, if there were be caught again, Yixing staying at Wendy there would only more malicious comments that would arise. But despite that, even if Wendy was going to be the bad guy,she wanted, she wanted someone to hold her, someome to tell her it was alright and that she would be okay.
