@Nichkhun Hayoung chuckled in response. “Oppa, if I grew up any more, I’d probably look thirty.” That wasn’t too far from the truth. If she was already being mistaken for a twenty-something year-old, she didn’t want to imagine how it was going to be several years down the road. Still, she liked to think that she did some mental and emotional growing. Back then, she was even quieter. It was thanks to her study sessions with the older boy that helped her wriggle out of her shell. Hayoung wouldn’t call herself outgoing now, but at least she was no longer fidgety around strangers. “Okay, I’ll pass on the message,” she agreed with a nod. “Are you sure? You always bought me stuff, so let me treat you now.” Ice cream, ramyun, snacks her mother wouldn’t let her have, Nichkhun bought it all. She wanted to return the favor. Before she could continue, the words ‘alcohol’ and ‘weed’ stopped her in her tracks. Is this what college does to you? Her eyes were wide as saucers, missing his joke entirely. “Um , /have/ you been smoking, oppa? . . . Are you on it now?” She eyed him cautiously, brows furrowed. No, this was the normal Nichkhun. Still, it’s been a few years. What if he /did/ turn into an alcoholic weed junkie? She blamed college.
@Hayoung It was so hard for him to hide his excitement. He was looking forward forthis meeting and when it finally took place he didn't know what to do with himself. But one was sure - he got easly all smiley showing everyone around and of course Hayoung his beautiful sunshine face.
"Oh and you grew up a lot", he said with a light chuckle while looking at girl's face. She wasn't anymore this teenager who was amazed by his foreign accent and confused bevariour. Even if he was new here it was true that in their relationship you could quickly feel that he was the older one.
"I really liked your mom, say hi from me when you see her by the way, but I prefer to pay for myself", he said as he sitted oppisite to Hayoung. "Save it and buy yourself some useless stuff. Or alcohol. Or weed. I can promise I won't tell her on you", he suggested with a gently smile on his lips. "Only of course if we smoke it together", he added right away taking a menu card which was lying on a table.
It was clear that he wasn't serious at all. He would have even let Hayoung pay for himself. But why should they have starting this meeting with normal conversation?
@Nichkhun There was no mistaking his warm voice. It sounded a lot more confident now and the words were clear. Hayoung was proud to say that she had a hand in that. She got to her feet and gave the older boy a series of quick bows of her head. “Nichkhun-oppa, hello! It’s nice to see you too!” Hiding her sleeve behind her back, she gave him a smile. He hadn’t lost his good looks and his charm. If anything, he seemed better than ever, more mature. Though if Hayoung’s suspicions were correct, Nichkhun was still the same flighty jokester on the inside. He had always been an older brother figure to her so she was immune to his charms, but for the rest of the female and male population, that was a different story. Knowing him however, he probably still wasn’t seeing anyone. “You look really good!” Hayoung exclaimed, returning to her seat. “Did you want to order something? I can treat us today,” she offered, gesturing for him to take a chair. “You can get a snack too if you’d like. My mom gave me extra money.” As if to prove her point, Hayoung pulled out her wallet and peeked inside. Her wallet was the fullest its been in a long time.
@Hayoung He couldn't even remember when was the last time when he saw this young teenage girl who had helped him with whole Korean culture. Of course when he came to this country he knew some language but he wasn't a master with it. At first he had to rely on his pretty face which is still making his life much more easier. People are disposed to forgive quickly if your looks make everyone's knees weak. However, he had never liked taking the easy way out. That was how Hayoung started to be his best buddy. He taught some useful phrases from her and she was glad to talk with him more so he could improve faster.
He really missed her but since he had his night job and university during early hours he hadn't had much time to meet with anybody. He was so happy that he found some free time and the girl wanted to meet him again even if their relationship would never be the same probably.
He walked into the cafe where they had decided to meet and looked around to find her. And he did in quickly because she didn't change that much.
"Hey, princess. It's good to see you", he said as he had walked closer.
@Nichkhun Uh-oh, how did that mark get on her sleeve? She could’ve sworn this was a new shirt. Hayoung looked around in a panic for water. Maybe if she tried hard enough, she could rub the stain out. She looked down at her drink. Why did she order hot chocolate? She half-rose from her seat, but paused midway. What if she left for the bathroom and he came in? This was their first meeting in a long while. She didn’t want to make Nichkhun wait. He only seemed to get busier once he entered university. She was surprised when he agreed to meet her during the weekday. She had so much to tell him! Hayoung was also curious how he was faring on his end. The last she heard from him, he mentioned something about landing a job in a nightclub. The name escaped her, but she was sure it was a popular place. Nightclubs were as foreign to her as India. With a small sigh of resignation, she sank back into her seat (not before attracting a couple of odd stares for hovering above her chair for a good five minutes) and tucked her arms beneath the table.
@Xero *hums as I wait for my hot chocolate, glancing at the job application in front of me*
Aigo... Do I really need to do this?
*sighs and leans against the counter, tapping the pen on my chin and nodding*
Alright Diana... You can do this...
What are your best qualities...?
Amber is leaving...
End of school coming up, and no one paid any attention to this character. So, why keep it?
But, oh well..
Had fun while it lasted.
Good luck with the roleplay.
Lots of love.
Tao had to leave. Sorry.
Thanks for having me though! ^-^
I had a lot of fun! ;u;
I wish I could stay but I'm really busy and have some problems to sort out. ^^; I'd love to come back though one day!
