@[V] Krystal Her brows furrowed, the Krystal she knew wasn't a vampire at all. She was a mere mortal just like everyone else in the village, and she was the only mortal that knew that Irene was a witch. "Are you sure?" She asked.
@[W] Irene "She doesn't know what I am..." She thought. "I'm a vampire. I've been a vampire ever since and I don't remember encountering you all these years." She said. "Or maybe I have..i just don't remember.." She thought again. At this time she really looked at the female, named Irene, from top to bottom, left to right, and even her face she took note of.
@[V] Krystal Irene nodded while smiling. "We were. By the way, why is your skin so pale?" She asked with curiosity, tilting her head slightly as she examined the latter's face. Her skin was paler than anyone else's and her eyes were slightly red, something a mortal can't have.
@[V] Sojin "Is there any other?" Sohee had asked, curiously observing the older female that had been higher up on the rock. "I wonder how that feels..." The princess mumbled, her eyes studying the sand on the beach.
@[W] Irene "We? Were friends?" Not sounding so rude but Krystal was friends with a witch? She couldn't see it. She just couldn't. She dislikes witches as much as she dislikes warlocks and knights and other creatures except her own kind. But...who was she to judge...she haven't met a witch before. But in this case she already have. "Were we friends ever since I was a Vampire?" She asked.
@[V] Krystal Irene's eyes narrowed, something was fishy there and she could smell it. Her head tilted to the side slightly, as if she was trying to find the problem on the outside, guessing and investigating. "I'm Irene. We were friends when we were little."
@[W] Irene Krystal softly chuckled, "I'd like to know why I don't remember you as well." She looked at her. "You see, I've been in the vampire mansion for as long as I can remember. I have no memories of interacting with any other creatures aside from my own." Krystal kept her eyes on Irene's. "But, your eyes..it's like...i've seen them before."
@[R] Sohee Sojin lets out a dark chuckle. "Always that stereotype, huh." She mumbled to herself, shaking her head slightly as the other moved towards her. Did this girl have a death wish? Sojin crossed her arms and huffed, "Let me emphasize on the 'trying' part. Yes, I'm one of them." She confirms as she places her weight on her left leg while watching the other carefully.
@[V] Sojin Sohee's eyes had fallen upon the odd- were those fangs? To her own surprise, Sohee hadn't been exactly afraid of this; more fascinated. "Are you...by chance a mythical being that people are always trying to kill?" Sohee had asked, not sure why she'd taken a step closer towards Sojin. The younger wasn't exactly suicidal, but she didn't mind dying.
@[R] Sohee Sojin narrowed her eyes a little when she asked. Maybe it was finally time to play around. Having a Royal who was a little off with other Royals might be useful to her. If she didn't cooperate might as well just drain her when she has the chance. Ivory fangs reveal themselves as she smirks at the other.
"Let's just say somewhere magical in the outskirts of town. Hm."
@[V] Krystal Irene nodded, "Yeah, Irene. How come you don't remember me?" She asked, her brows furrowed. She was certain that the girl in front of her was her childhood friend, someone she used to know. Irene had never imagined Krystal to forget about her; after all, Irene still remembered her.
@[W] Irene "Irene?" She repeated the name. It sounded familiar but no picture of a girl named "Irene" pops out of her mind. "I'm sorry, I don't remember anyone named Irene." She said. "But...it oddly sounds familiar..." She added.
Irene...Bae Joohyun...Irene Bae...who was she in Krystal's life. If she was important to her, she wouldn't forget her. Irene remembers Krystal in which she found odd.
Her voice rose, as if she felt betrayed by her own close friend. Something must have happened back then to Krystal, and it made her forget some parts of her life; like Irene, for example.
@[V] Krystal Irene was taken aback, what kind of question was that? However, they young witch merely smiled and nodded. "Well, you're supposed to. You're Krystal, right?" She asked and tilted her head.
@[W] Irene Krystal stared at her for a while before speaking up. "Do I know you?" she blinked. "Is that too offensive? Let's me rephrase. Do you know me?" she stared at her with a poker face on.
@[V] Krystal irene watched as Krystal jumped down from the tree, she forgot how athletic Krystal was since they were child. A smile was still formed on her lips as Irene approached Krystal, scanning the latter up and down to see the changes that were visible. Her features had become smoother and she was taller. "Woah, it's been a long time."
@[W] Irene "So she is talking to me..." she mumbled.
"It's me? So...I know her?" she thought.
The female looked harmless to Krystal. She looked friendly because of the way she smiles at her. With after much thought Krystal finally decides to jump off the branch. Safely she lands on the ground with one knee bent, she straightened herself up and looked at the female once more from top to bottom.
"There's...something familiar about her. I can't pin-point what though..." she thought.
@[V] Krystal Irene looked at Krystal, her brow raised. The latter had seemed to be still on the branch, not going anywhere or even saying a word, it was strange because the Krystal Irene knew was the happy and bubbly girl. If Irene's eyes weren't tricking her, then she was right; it was Krystal. The Jung Krystal.
"Hey, it's me! Come down," Irene waved her hand and motioned for Krystal to come down, still smiling warmly as she thought about the days they spent together.
@[W] Irene The female called out to her which surprised Krystal. "Is she talking to me?" she thought. "Stay cool Krystal. Just stay here and don't move...and be nice I guess.."
Krystal stayed put to the branch and continued to stare at the female that called her. She knew not to interact, especially with someone who isn't her kind. But she was curious of the female because she saw a smile from her lips when she called out to her. It was strange. Why was she smiling? Does the female know her and what she was?
@[V] Sojin Sohee had chuckled as she heard the female's next assumption, shaking her head briefly in a negative reply. "I come here because I'm bored." The princess continued, "There is no escape...no way out." Sohee said, chuckling dryly. Her words had just reinforced her pessimistic ideas about the world, her eyes slowly meeting with the other's.
@[V] Krystal The gaze felt familiar to Irene. Somehow, the iciness and coldness of the gaze reminded her of something - or rather, someone - she used to know a long time ago. The young witch immediately searched for the familiar pair of eyes in her brain, looking through all sorts of memories. From her present, her old times, and her childhood.
That was it, the childhood part. Before Irene lived by herself, she used to live somewhere else with her family. Her vivid memory was meeting a girl named Krystal and Luna and played with them when she was a child. Luna was dead, she was killed by a werewolf, and Irene was unsure about Krystal's whereabouts. It had been such a long time since she saw the latter, and looking at the gaze, it resembled Krystal.
Even with the branches blocking parts of her sight, she could see the girl's face that resembled Krystal. A smile formed on Irene's lips as she called out, "Hey there!".
@[W] Irene She sat on the branch and just gazed upon the horizon. Watching the sun rays hit the ocean floor and closed her eyes as she felt the breeze of the wind passing by. As she opened her eyes she looked down and saw a female looking directly at her. She didn't stand down. She continued to stare and waited for the female to look away.
@[V] Krystal She was sitting down on the soft sand when suddenly her hat was blown away by the wind. Standing up, she chased after her hat which landed below a big tree near the beach, in front of someone's window. Irene simply took her hat and put it back on her head when she noticed something strange, something fishy.
Her head shot up and that was when she saw a pair of eyes.
@[W] Irene The sun was up and bright, and its rays were shining thru her bedroom window. "It's too boring today." she muttered to herself. With a small sigh, she pushed the doors of her balcony open and jumped off. Jumping from tree to tree she made it to the beach which usually takes about 20 minutes for a normal being who walks.
Standing on the branch, she looked at the horizon. She wanted to walk on the sand barefoot and to feel the ocean on her fingers. But she had to wait until the sun dies down. Although she's been out in the sun before, and knowing that nothing happened to her she was still careful. She could never know what will happen when she stays out on the sun for too long.
@[V] Krystal The sun shone brightly, the wind kissed her face lightly, and the sand were like a soft carpet to her bare feet. On that particular day, Irene had decided to step outside of her house and enjoy nature - the beach, especially - and pick some plants that she could use for her potions on the beach nearby. The warm water was glistening under the sun, inviting the young witch to dip her feet in the water, or swim in it; Irene wasn't going to, however. She preferred to walk and stroll around casually, looking at the blue water and thinking about her life. She had nothing to do most of the time, else than working at the pub and making potions. Therefore, the beach was a good place for her to rest at on most days.
@[R] Sohee "Tired." She repeated with a nod. 'Aren't we all...' Sojin thought before looking down at her feet once again. Turning her attention back to he other, she cocked her head to the side when she further explained her situation.
"So, I guess you come here to... escape, maybe." She guessed, she wasn't really sure. It was sort of getting boring reading other people's minds she just wanted to test if she could get anything right without having to resort to it.
@[V] Sojin Sohee stayed quiet, noticing the female's slip up but decided to dismiss it, now knowing that she couldn't have been a subject. But if she wasn't, what was she? Leaving the question be for now, Sohee had chuckled slightly, glancing towards the back of the female. "Fearless you say." Sohee replied, slightly shaking her head. "Tired. That's all I am." She quietly spoke, reflecting on her previous words. Now that she'd thought about it, Sohee had always been too tired to sleep. The female almost never slept, and when she did, she always woke up too early.
"What's there to trust.." Sohee continued, "I'm their pawn. I'm a product- I'm not human to them."
@[R] Sohee "I can see why that's a problem." Sojin says with a nod. She was a little glad that the other had finally loosened up and said something they could actually converse about. "You seem fearless." She says, observing the way the other watched the bird take flight. "Yes, I do know how the royal family works but I'm not quite familiar with you all. So please excuse me if I'm quite uneducated about who's next to the throne and all that jazz... I'm not from around these parts of the--" Sojin stopped speaking after realizing that she has said too much. Her eyes narrowed and she turned away, looking towards the other end of the beach where the mountains were.
@[V] Sojin "You should know how the royal family works." Sohee said, scoffing softly. The female had forgotten that her family had not only been fake, but they were also secretive; of course the commoners wouldn't know of palace affairs- though she wish they had. Pursing her lips slightly, the female had looked off to the side, spotting a bird taking flight off of the beach. "I have an assassin out for me." Sohee casually spoke, as if dying had been an everyday thing; but it was. Kids who grew up in the palace had to tolerate deaths quite often.
"Someone in my family clearly wants my position, though I'd gladly give it to them." The female mumbled, glancing towards Sojin. "I only have one family member I can trust through all of these people."
