@[WW] Jiyeon maybe she should try waking the other up? oh, but the magic could be damaging the inside of the young woman, and to halt that process could damage the stranger even more. ah joong frets, because she's never had to deal with anything magic-related other than the damage inflicted sometimes upon her clan from petty small fights with other witches or warlocks, or those hired by hunters -- which very rarely happened -- to take them down.
when more blood comes out of the other, the vampire grows increasingly concerned. with all the blood loss, it was only a matter of time before something happens that her body becomes too stressed and gives out on her, and though the woman appeared mortal, ah joong knows that there's something magical about her, and grows sober at the fact that if a magical creature was found dead in her hands, there'd be wars against her clan from wherever this young woman came from. she wipes up the blood with another sigh. she can't let that happen.
@[H] Leo Sojin turned away when he had asked if she had wanted to kill him. Yes. No. Maybe. She was suddenly really confused about what she really felt like doing at the moment. Sojin rolled her eyes at the earlier comment before being surprised another time. Was he actually trying to keep her alive? What an odd hunter.
"No, I'll be alright." Sojin rubbed at her arm before getting to her feet. "I can manage making my way home by myself." She didn't look at him once.
@[V] Ah Joong After spazing for a while, Jiyeon's body couldn't take it anymore, and she completly gave out into the pain. Soon all there was was blood form her nose and ears, and her body automaticly started bruising up, like she was fighting something innerly, which she basicly was.
@[V] Sojin What she said was true, he is supposed to kill her but somehow he just couldn't bring himself to do so, since he couldn't comeback with anything Leo just shrugged and throw the question back at her "Likewise. Now you have your strength back, do you want to kill me?" He stared at her, silently challenging her to make a move to kill him; he never tried to fight in bare hands with vampire but maybe today would be the start. He almost couldn't believe what he heard when the vampire in front of him mumbled thank you and the intensity of her stare made him uncomfortable as soming within him feels weird. Quickly shrugging the feeling off Leo nodded at her "Wont happen for the second time." He turned around and walk toward the door before stopping "It's almost morning, you can rest here if you want. And at night, I'll take you back to the forest."
when the stranger begins to cough up more blood, ah joong sits there with the soiled cloth, helpless. she's unsure of what to do; she's certainly never had to nurse someone back to life, as vampires had a healing factor in their genes that repaired damage almost instantaneously. those that suffered extreme damage were given blood to drink and set aside for a few hours. this young woman obviously wasn't a vampire, and if she didn't do anything, the other might die.
the young woman stares at the other with a sad look as she grabs a new cloth and allows the stranger to spasm against the leaves. "i'm so sorry i can't do any more for you." for now, she'll watch over her.
@[V] Ah Joong Jiyeon was out, but the power of the potion that was suppose was not only strong, but it was hurting her. As her eyes were closed, the pain was so much, she screamed, as her wolf retorted and fought vicously, making her cough up more blood.
() I am so sorry it's short! Iam so tierd and I need to do homework, I will talk later!
@[WW] Jiyeon "oh my god!" ah joong yelps, taking quick steps to the woman on the floor and shaking her shoulder. "miss! are you alright?!" no matter how frantic her calls get, the lady is unresponsive, and she bites her lip indecisively. the stranger obviously needs care, though for what she wasn't sure of, and with a few more seconds of thought, the vampire hoists the young woman into her arms gently and starts running towards the outskirts of the forest. when she was there earlier, she had brought bundles of blankets and supplies because there is a small cavity between two tree trunks that serves to be a nature-made cubby, and so stores things in there for her daily trips out from the mansion.
with an inhumane speed that barely rocks the figure in her arms, ah joong quickens her pace until she reaches her destination, setting the young woman down gently on the dry leaves on the floor. worried as she reaches for a clean cloth in the cubby to towel the blood off, she wonders about the stranger that collapsed before her eyes and what her story was. obviously, some sort magical thing occurred, as the young woman held a transparent vial in her hand. if she leans in, she can smell wisps of magic.
"miss?" she tries again gently as she wipes the blood away. "miss, are you alright?"
@[V] Ah Joong Jiyeon had gone into the forest with a potion she got form a which to stop her transformations. She hated being a wolf and tonight was the night, where instead of turning, this was gonna end. The lady seemed like she was a real worker, but she said it would kill the wolf, and that's what she was hoping.
Her heart was racing as she reached a small open space in the forest. She felt herself about to change, but she fought back as she got out the potion with shaky hands. She quickly took 3 gulps down before gasping at how strong it was. Suddeny she couldn't hear anything, and her nose started bleeding. It was like rain on her, but it came faster, from her ear, coughing into her shoudler. She couldn't even scream before her eyes rolled into the back of her head, and she passed out as she bleed out
ah joong paces with the foliage under her feet softly crunching. she stops, sits against one of the gnarling aged wood that has grown to become much of the forest that she's now standing in, and gets up again with fidgeting fingers. she was supposed to meet a friend on the outskirts of the forest -- where she is now, in fact -- but it has been two hours already and the friend seems to be a no-show. probably roped back to the mansion by her sister or dragged along another hunting mission without her. the young woman grimaces miserably, messing up her hair with petulant whines escaping her lips. she was supposed to go hunting again, damn it!
with a sigh, the slim creature stands and wipes her dress free of leaves and dirt. she might as well head back to the mansion, because there was nothing to do in the forest anyway that she wanted to do at night. once she travels a few yards deeper into the woods, however, she smells blood and wrinkles her nose almost immediately. unlike the tangy sweet scent of human blood, this odor smelled musky, much like how animal blood would smell. she curiously peers around, feet cautiously guiding her to the source of the odor, until she stops a few feet from the base of a large oak tree, and gapes.
@[H] Leo Sojin looked away, wiping the streaks of blood running down the sides of her lips. "You're a hunter. You were supposed to kill me." Honestly, she was supposed to do the same but something odd seemed to be stopping her. All this could be over in an instant but something held her back from attacking him. Maybe it was because he showed kindness and mercy towards her... or maybe it was something else. Whatever it is, it was something she has never felt before... for anyone.
She turned back towards him and it wasn't like her but she spit it out anyway, "Thank you." Sojin mumbled simply. Her gaze moved over to his eyes again and it stayed there.
@[V] Sojin He watched her drink the blood with a scrunched nose not pleased at the sight and the idea of drinking blood was just sickening to him. At her question, well more like a wondering statement instead of question, Leo just shrugged his shoulders not even knowing why would he do that but she doesn't need to know that "I don't like killing helpless creature." He looked away "And the sight of you was just too...sad to being watched."
@[H] Leo Sojin snarled when her body was jerked upward. "L-let me..." She mumbled weakly, trying to pry herself off the hunter. Realizing that she had no strength to resist, she just let him drag her off to somewhere she's never seen before. If she could only sneak a bite out of him she could immediately end his life but looking up, she caught sight of his eyes and something in her just felt different. Sojin couldn't tell what it was exactly. Entering the room, she looked up at him before her eyes widened when he asked her to drink.
She cocked her head to the side wondering what kind of joke this was but it struck her curiosity enough to play along. Sojin reached for the pack and sunk her teeth into it, her eyes flashed a bright shade of red as soon as the red liquid poured down .
As soon as she finished, the pack was discarded to the side and she could suddenly feel her strength gradually returning. "Why..." was the only word she could muster up at the moment.
@[V] Sojin Supposedly taking down any vampire wouldn't be so hard for him but somehow the state she was in made him hesitate to do so and on top of that he also didn't bring any equipment. Leo walked toward her and yanked her up "Come." was the only thing he said before dragging her toward his place. Somehow something about this vampire intrigued him and he want to know more even though by hiding her away from the association. Lightly pushing her inside one room, Leo closed all the curtain before throwing a blood pack to her "Drink up."
@Woohyun Sohee had almost backed away from the other when she realized his recent action, but instead decided to dismiss it. The female had a tendency to over correct her feelings, and this would be one of those moments. "There's really no such thing as love." Sohee replied, her normal facade appearing once more. The female hadn't believed in such a thing, being that she'd practically been brainwashed by her mother to think so. The princess had let out a small breath, staring straight ahead with that dead look in her eyes, soon replying, "You could be."
@[R] Sohee Woohyun involuntarily reached out to tuck a few strands of the girl's hair behind her ear. After noticing what he did, he almost apologized but decided against it. He was just hoping that she wouldn't go back to being cold to him. Now, as they walked, he could sense the bitterness she felt and silently wished he had chosen something else to say. He looked over at her while walking and replied, "If it makes you feel any better, I hate the royal customs too. You should be able to marry the person you love." He smiled warmly at her for a moment before looking ahead again. He shook his head and chuckled, "Aren't I the perfect person for you to talk to though? I'm around you all day so you talking to me really isn't that suspicious. I'm sure it would be a lot more suspicious if you talked to the cook or someone like that."
@Woohyun "It's a habit." Sohee replied, awkwardly moving her hair out of her face. The female wasn't used to freely talking to a person like this, and she was still getting the hang of trying to be a human. Sohee had noticed they'd been walking in silence, but it wasn't the bad kind of silence. The girl had liked it for a bit, thinking over everything that had just happened. The princess had felt awkward, hearing her given name uttered from the other; no one had ever called Sohee by her real name, and it almost sounded foreign to her ears. "I definitely have a purpose." Sohee bitterly replied. "My purpose is to be married off to some idiot for the sake of power and expansion, have that idiot's children, and continue the 'royal' bloodline." The female almost practically spat out. Sohee was rather resentful towards royal customs, and had hated her parents the most for enforcing them. Speaking her mind aloud had felt almost amazing to the younger. "Anyway," Sohee continued, looking towards the older. "You're around me all day anyway, I just can't personally speak to you without suspicions arising; you must understand that."
@[R] Sohee Woohyun noticed the younger covering and said to her, "You know, you don't have to cover up your smiles or your laughs with me." He nodded in agreement with her statement, thinking about it a little bit. If he were her, he would definitely get tired of being followed all of the time. But that was the thing about being royalty. You always have to be surrounded by guards. Woohyun was kind of surprised that he shared his story, even though it wasn't every detail. He had never really told anyone his story before. But for some reason it felt right to share his story with Sohee. He was completely surprised when Sohee said that she would open up a bit. Listening to every word she said, he waited until she was done before replying, "Sohee... I mean princess, don't say that. Everyone has a purpose in the world. I know you must feel lonely in the castle, even though you are surrounded by people. But you aren't alone. If you need someone to talk to, you can talk to me."
@Woohyun There seemed to be many sides of Sohee that people had never known existed for the female; but they surely were there. Sohee had smiled, covering as she had almost nearly laughed at his next comment. "But you should understand that being followed everyday, for most of the day- it gets tiresome." She replied, nodding in a matter-of-factly way. The liveliness had soon gone quiet, and Sohee could tell there was a bigger meaning behind him as a person. Listening to the male's story, something about it made her feel his sincerity. The other guards had seemed to only want to climb the ladder to power, but this knight, Woohyun, he actually had a reason. For a moment, Sohee felt cautious, being that she had mostly feared people, but soon decided that the older was trustworthy enough. "While we're being honest...and while I'm momentarily losing my mind, I might as well open up a bit." The younger spoke. "I wouldn't have minded if the assassin killed me...that one time." She said, not sure how to put it. Sohee wasn't necessarily suicidal, but the girl had always found herself questioning her existence.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun's eyes widened slightly hearing the laugh coming from the young royal. He felt as though he must be dreaming. She couldn't have actually been laughing right? But the sound of that laugh brought a smile to his face anyway. He knew that he wanted to hear it again. He raised an eyebrow and looked over at her, "So it's not that you hate me, but I am a nuisance. Okay that's much better." His tone held playful sarcasm to show that he was not actually offended. Surprised by the sudden question, Woohyun didn't respond at first. After thinking for a moment on whether or not to share his story, he finally spoke, "There was a girl I liked a long time ago... I wont go into detail, but all I can say is that I wasn't able to protect her. I became a knight so I could protect the people I care about." He smiled softly and a hint of sadness showed in that smile. But he quickly pushed it away and looked at the princess. He patted her head once again, stating, "That's why you should feel safe with me. I am here to protect you, and I will. I know you're worried about the assassin situation right now, but you just need to trust me, okay?"
@Woohyun A small laugh had escaped Sohee's throat as she heard Woohyun ask her questions. She wasn't sure if she was just getting tired, or if he wasn't a threat anymore, but Sohee felt comfortable enough to show a small side of her real self. "I never hated you in the first place. I don't hate any of the people that get assigned to me; they're more like nuisances." The female spoke, staring towards the ground before nodding quickly. Sohee soon followed after the older down the way they'd originally come, Sohee soon noticing Woohyun walking next to her. "Why are you a knight." The female stated, more than asked. She wasn't particularly interested, but he had to have a reason.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun smiled in amusement and put his hands up in defeat, laughing as he replied, "Okay no more ruffling your hair. Just don't give me that look." He thought for a moment before adding, "At least you don't glare at me like you used to. Does this mean you don't hate me?" When it became quiet for a while, Woohyun looked over at Sohee, a little worried that she was upset about something. He asked slightly worriedly, "You alright, princess?" Glad that the princess had accepted the suggestion, Woohyun nodded his head toward the path they took before, "Let's head back that way, but we don't have to go back to the castle." He then led Sohee back down the path, slowing his pace after a while to walk next to her.
@Woohyun Sohee actually had no justifiable reason why she was starting to feel a bit more comfortable around this particular person more than anyone; it was odd. At this rate, it usually would've taken years for Sohee to let a person touch her, but all of a sudden she started minding less and less. Shooting an irritated look towards Woohyun, the princess had fixed her hair, clearing awkwardly. "Y-Yes, I know that." She replied, her eyes moving everywhere but to the knights face. Sohee wasn't sure how to reply to that, and had let the silence linger between them as she thought about her own worries lately, not sure if they were really worries or not compared to her subjects. "A...walk." Sohee repeated, soon nodding slowly. "I'd like to." The princess spoke, glancing towards the older.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun noticed how the princess was startled by him patting her head, but he also noticed how she didn't react as badly as she had the first time he had done it. This meant that he had made progress in getting her to open up to him. Feeling victorious, he couldn't keep a smile off of his face, as usual. He chuckled to himself when he heard a hint of disappointment in her tone. He ruffled her hair and said, "Don't worry, princess, we'll come back tomorrow night, okay?" He chuckled with her, and nodded in agreement, "I don't sleep a lot either. Too much on my mind usually." Memories came back to him in that moment, and his face darkened for a second before he pushed all of the memories away and replaced the dark look with a small smile. He turned his attention back to Sohee and asked, "Instead of going back to the castle right now, do you want to go for a walk?"
@Woohyun Sohee wasn't the best at reading facial expressions, or body language in general, and instead decided to take things as they came when it came to the other. She wasn't exactly the best coordinated, but she had an idea of how to fight. The princess out of curiosity would sometimes visit and observe the knights in the training area of the palace. Sohee had been startled out of her thoughts as she felt the other's hand pat her head, still feeling a bit violated, but it wasn't as bad as it had been. "Done.." Sohee repeated, feeling rather...was it sad, or dissapointed? Sohee wasn't sure what she felt, but the princess was NOT ready to go back to the palace; though the more time they spent out here, the more time that the maids and guards would get to notice they were missing. "I'm always tired, but I never sleep." She replied, chuckling slightly.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun crossed his arms over his chest as he watched her repeat the movements. Surprisingly, the princess was a quick learner when it came to these kind of things. He never would've expected the princess to be able to do these movements so easily. Of course the movements could use improvement, but they would work on them every session so he wasn't too worried about it. After realizing that he had been staring for too long, Woohyun shook his head to clear his thoughts before flashing his wide smile, the smile that showed all of his teeth, at the princess. He walked over to her and pat her head gently, "You did good, princess. I think we're done for tonight. Next time I'll teach you defensive techniques." He took the stick from her and put it down on the ground before looking back at Sohee. He asked, "Are you tired yet? Do you want to go back to the castle now?"
@Woohyun Sohee wasn't sure if the atmosphere was awkward, or if she was just the only one that felt this way; though she must've been. Clearing , the female nodded, replying, "Of course." There wasn't anything else she could say that wouldn't sound weird, and so she was just going to stick with simple words and sentences for now- and besides, she was the pupil. Sohee had let out a small breath, calming herself down as she felt his grip overlap her own, watching carefully as he demonstrated the attacks. Forgetting everything that was uncomfortable for the moment, Sohee had nodded, slowly beginning to repeat the moves that Woohyun had taught her. She glanced towards the knight, waiting for his response.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun noticed that Sohee flinched when he touched her hands. He knew it was hard for her to let him do that, because she wasn't used to it and she probably didn't like when people touched her anyway. To hopefully ease her tension, he smiled reassuringly at her before speaking, "Princess, I know it makes you uncomfortable, but it's the only way I can teach you." After making sure that her stance was right and the way she held the "sword" was right, Woohyun figured he would teach her some striking movements. He walked behind her and placed his hands on top of hers and said to her, "Now I am going to teach you some attacks." He showed her a couple of the movements over and over again before he let go of her hands and stepped a few feet in front of her. He watched her carefully and said, "Now do it yourself."
@Woohyun Sohee had felt a bit odd being examined by the other as he walked in circles around her. It wasn't the most fun, but she put up with everything for right now. Listening to the male's suggestion, Sohee had corrected her body, hoping to get some sort of approval. But they'd moved on, and the female hadn't cared as much about it anymore. The princess blinked for a moment as she felt the other touch her hands, flinching in surprise at first. But then Sohee remembered that he needed to touch her in order to teach her; for now at least. "I figure.." She replied, waving the stick around in her hands.
@[R] Sohee Woohyun walked in circles around the princess for a while, examining her stance and trying to find ways to improve it. Her stance actually wasn't that bad, but it wasn't great. He smiled widely and said to her, "You could bend your knees a little more and spread your feet apart a little more, but not bad. Now how to hold a sword. When holding a sword, hold with both hands obviously. Spread your hands a little from each other because it gives you better control of the sword. Or in your case, stick." He chuckled a little at his own joke, before becoming serious again. He added, "This is very important because without control you could get yourself hurt." He walked over to her and gently touched her hands, moving them slightly apart before looking at her and asking, "See how easier it is to have control like this?"
@Woohyun Sohee had nodded slowly, soon bending her knees and placing her feet where she thought they should be. The position had felt weird to the princess, being that she usually either was sitting, walking or standing; nothing in between. The rough wooden stick that the other had given her was slightly hard to grip, but Sohee soon enough got used to this. And for once, a slight rush of excitement flooded the younger's body. The princess had kept her eyes on Woohyun, waiting for further direction.
