→ VAMPIRE MANSION

@[V] Kyungri she needs to tread carefully. "well, you don't have to see it as a good thing, but just know that the clan really does try their best and it's for good reasons, even if it might hurt or trap others away from the evil in this world." 'evil' is such a grey area for a term, and ah joong hopes she won't have to define it out. "thank you," she beams at the compliment, because it helps her to see that she makes a change in someone else's life. "and hey, kyungri, you're welcome, you know!"

@[V] Ah Joong Kyungri smiled at Ah Joong, if this lady is not here to see her, she could have killed herself because of too much frustration. "I am thankful that someone like you exists." Kyungri looked at Ah Joong with respect. "Really? So are you saying that I should take everything as a good thing?"

@[V] Kyungri ah joong softens. "oh, kyungri," she begins, knowing the feeling of being stuck under a roof and four walls and not being able to explore whatsoever. "i was like you once. they care about you, you know. everyone does. and sometimes, caring about something means..." trapping it would've been a sufficient way to fill the word void, but she hesitates. perhaps that wasn't the best vocabulary to use at the moment. "they're not afraid of you messing up outside of the mansion; they're just afraid something will get to you and the clan won't be there to stop it."

when she asks about her face, ah joong leans closer. "know what i see?" she asks with an upbeat tone. "i see a beautiful young woman who is so much more than what she thinks other people think of her. you don't look like a child whatsoever." by vampire standards, kyungri technically is one of the youngest in their clan, which is why everyone treats her as such.

@[V] Ah Joong Kyungri just placed her hand on her chin. "I was thinking why everyone is so strict to me? It is as if I am a child that will mess up outside the mansion." Kyungri said with a frown on her face. Kyungri looks at Ah Joong with a sad face. "Do I really look like a child? " She asked the lady really curious.

@[V] Kyungri the older hums, sitting in the loveseat beside the young woman. ah joong smooths down her flowing dress as she ponders her next words. "what are you thinking about?" kyungri usually sat to herself away from the company of others, and so she figures that a few minutes of social interaction a day would do the younger good.

@[V] Ah Joong Kyungri smiled sadly to the lady talking to her right now. It is very obvious in herself that she is not in the mood but to show appreciation to Ah Joong in finding her, she tries to be jolly. " Yeah, nothing. Hmm just thinking?" But she failed. Her gloominess really ate up her jolly personality.

@[V] Kyungri ah joong bites her lip. she has known kyungri for almost the other's entire life span, and for some reason or another, the vampire was so down-in-the-dumps and almost excessively gloomy. she isn't sure if the younger is depressing just because it's how she is, or if there was an actual reason for it. the two never got close enough for the other to divulge in that information.

"hi, kyungri!" the older pipes, a light bounce in her steps as she shuts the door behind her with a loud creak and approaches the other. "sojin told me i could find you in here! what are you doing right now?"

@[V] Ah Joong Pale face that matches her gloomy mood is very unusual for a cheerful lady like Kyungri. Her heavy sighs could be heard every minute. She looked at the door making noise slowly seeing her co-vampire Ah joong.

"Yes, I'm here." Kyungri answered with all the gloominess.

ebony hair flowing behind her, ah joong travels down the hall with a quiet grace that many of her kind owns, footsteps light and barely audible. she turns the corner at the end of the hallway only to run past paintings of deceased ancestors and european wallpaper, the dull carpeting softening her steps and allowing her to slow to a halt in front of oak double doors. she takes a breath she doesn't need, exhales just to feel her shoulders relax, and pushes the doors open with trimmed nails.

her head peeks in the commons room first, and then her hand hesitantly wraps around the frame of one of the open wooden doors. "kyungri?" she questions. "are you in here?"

She examines Donghae who was standing before her. Sojin raises a brow at the other while toying with her fingers as she scans him from head to toe making sure that he left all his weapons outside. Being a half blood and being able to see the mansion wouldn't do him any good. If Donghae was the only who had the ability to actually enter the mansion, he wouldn't be able to bring it down all on his own. That relieved Sojin a little. Things were getting a little risky.

"So..." She started while getting up from her chair, walking around him once before leaning on the wall. "What was it that you wanted to ask? Make it quick."

@[V] Sojin Donghae nodded before pulling back his coat and taking out the rest of his weapons, throwing them to where his belt laid. After fishing the knife out of his boot and getting rid of that as well, he followed the vampire. "That's fine. Anything is better than nothing." he muttered before walking inside. He looked around at the interior, surprised to find it so grand. However, he didn't really know what to expect if he ever actually got inside.

As they kept walking, he looked around at the other vampires moving about, out of her way. Ah...she must be the leader, or at least a very high-up vampire. Once he was ushered into the room he stood, almost awkwardly as he continued looking around.

@[H] Donghae Sojin glanced up at her brothers and sisters, wondering what they thought about the hunter. It didn't matter, though. Only Sojin's opinions were the most important. "Disarm yourself immediately, hiding any weapons won't do you any good here." She said before turning to head for the entrance of the mansion. "I'll be strict with the questions I will be answering. Don't expect much from me." Her voice was cold, she turned the knob and let herself into the receiving area where the other vampires scrambled to get out of her way.

"He's a hunter. Guard yourself." Sojin warned them discreetly. Taking a seat on a chair at the far side of the room, she gestured for the others to usher Donghae in.

@[V] Sojin "'Course it's new. What other hunter would be stupid enough to ask?" Donghae said, turning to face the woman. "I know, I know, alright? I won't try anything funny." he said, holding his hands up. As darkness began to descend over the sky, he fixed his coat slightly before noticing all the other vampires looking through the windows. Gulping slightly, out of both fear and wonder, he turned back to the one in front of him.

"I am..." he said, wondering if that was a problem or not. 'You idiot. Of course it's a problem!' he yelled to himself in his mind, before shutting himself up. 'Stop talking.' "I just wanted to ask some questions is all."

@[H] Donghae Talk? "That's new." Sojin thought out loud before standing her ground. She crossed both her arms and narrowed her eyes at him. "Don't try anything funny. Let me remind you, you're still on our territory." A few vampires from the inside had sensed the presence of a different being and crowded the windows to watch over their leader. They had all eyes on the hunter.

"You're a half-blood hunter. Tch." She scoffed, rolling her eyes at him. "Well, that's something. What do you need from us?" Sojin side-eyed him trying to make of what she was supposed to think about this guy.

@[V] Sojin "Hey!" Donghae almost yelled as she appeared behind him and grabbed him by his collar. "I just...I just wanted to talk." It was the truth. Donghae never lied...much. There were points when he had to. Like explain why he had blood on his shirt when he hadn't even gone out for a hunt. Or maybe how he got somewhere so fast in such a short time. His senses and abilities may have been slightly...elevated, but that doesn't mean he held himself up high. In fact, he thought of himself the same way as before, just a hunter who wasn't very good at his job.

"Yes, I can see the mansion." he replied, huffing slightly as he grabbed his collar and ripped it from her grip.

"What?"

@[H] Donghae She watched him closely as he dropped his weapon. Sojin's brow arched, "Does he think I'm an idiot?" she muttered to herself knowing that these hunters wouldn't come near her unarmed. It's been done before. What makes this leader any different? They're all fools. Sojin watched as he darted towards the window and stopped right in front of her. She hissed, "Why do these mortals just love to provoke me?" Rolling her eyes, Sojin vanished before reappearing behind the hunter. She grabs him by his back collar and jerks him aside.

"What are you doing here and what do you want?" She spoke slowly, "You can see the mansion." Sojin mumbled before sniffing a familiar scent.

"Oh, my...my..." Shaking her head, she realized that the other was a half blood after analyzing his smell.

@[V] Sojin His eyes flicked from the window she was in towards the new window she now occupied by the door. Even from how far away he was standing he could see her fangs glint in the last moments of the setting sun before it disappeared behind the horizon. A small, cold breeze blew past him, ruffling his coat and hair but he didn't move. He just continued to stare at the woman, until he decided that maybe...he could walk a little bit closer. Looking down at his belt, Donghae looked at all the weapons on it before he unbuckled it and held it out, showing it to her before he dropped it to the ground. Of course that wasn't every weapon he had on his person. What hunter would he be if he didn't have at a least a couple in his coat and in his boots? Without any hesitation this time, he ran towards the window she occupied, suddenly standing in front of it. He didn't know exactly why he had just done what he did, but maybe he could get answers. About what things? He didn't now, but if he needed to make a run for it, he could.

@[H] Donghae She inhaled sharply when she saw the hunter inch closer towards the mansion. Another snarl escaped the confines of as she continued to dart warning glares towards him. "So he could see the mansion..." Sojin muttered to herself as ivory fangs peeked out from behind her lips. She gave him one last chance to leave. Knowing that this person was the Hunters' leader didn't make things any better. Sojin had a hunch that the other just wouldn't back off the property so she had to take matters into her own hands. Quickly, she made her way to the first floor and stood by the window right beside the door just in case he had the guts to actually come in through the main door.

@[V] Sojin Donghae watched as the vampire was about to walk away from the window before her eyes landed on him. Instead of moving, he just stood there, watching as she narrowed her eyes. A message? Maybe. A threat? Most likely. Sighing and shaking his head slightly, he took a couple more steps towards the mansion. Not to attack no. Actually he didn't know why, since she was standing there all the time. If she wasn't, he would just...walk inside. Every time he saw the mansion all he wanted to do was go inside because maybe, just maybe, his sister was in there somewhere. However, she, the woman in the window was always there.

@[H] Donghae She was about to turn away from the window when she picked up the faintest scent and it seemed to be coming from the forest below. It was a scent she's familiar with but she wasn't exactly sure who it belonged to. Her eyes scanned the forest below, searching for the owner of the certain scent. It wasn't long before she spotted what looked like a mortal. Looking closer, she snarled finally figuring out who it was. "That hunter..." She whispered to herself when she saw that he was staring directly into her window. Sojin figured that he could see the mansion and that he must be some sort of half blood judging by his scent. Having the mansion visible to someone like him was a threat to all those living in it.

Sojin narrowed her eyes at him as a warning that she wouldn't back down if he tried to attack.

@[V] Sojin The forest canopy hung above Donghae's head as he traipsed through the forest. This time he decided to go it alone, walking by himself as the sun set. There wasn't anywhere in particular he felt like being at the moment. He had just wanted to take a walk to clear his head and gather his senses. However, his peaceful moments through the forest were interrupted when he looked ahead and saw the mansion he had passed so many times before. Walking towards it, he stopped quite a bit away from it, looking through all the windows. Finally his eyes settled on the window where a certain Vampire was looking out at the setting sun.

@[H] Donghae It was getting dark outside. Sojin sat on her bed while examining her burgundy painted nails as she wondered where she was going to visit tonight. Her last meal was a little heavy so she thought of skipping on feeding for the night. Tapping her fingernails against her lower lip, the thought of passing by the pub crossed her mind. Nodding, she took a mental note of her schedule. A sileft huff escaped her lips as she got to her feet before making her way towards the large window beside her bed. Her eyes narrowed as she watched the sun set. The darkness woulld engulf the forest in a few minutes and she would soon be able to venture into the village.
