@(☆) Jung Hoseok The rush was slowly beginning to recede, but the aftereffects still lingered- tattooed against Taehyung's whirring mind as he calmed himself. His racing heart settled as he cocked his head at the other, a small swell of pride at his little "achievement" actually being acknowledged. 'That made one of us then. I swore I was gonna fall right onto my grave!' He flinched, however when Hoseok came to clean away his wounds, not necessarily something anyone in his pack had done for him so far, but it was still greatly appreciated. Nodding in sincere gratitude, his surprise at the question that followed was almost palpable. 'I-...'

Next... What really were they even gonna do? Hell, what'd he WANT to do..? With eyes a lit, he bounced softly in place as one thought came to mind. 'Everything!' And he meant it with the utmost legitimacy. 'Swimming or climbing... I hear the mountain range is beautiful here! Or umm... Maybe going into town? Maybe scoping out the fields or hunting game or-' He paused, a bit embarrassed that he'd even allowed himself to fly off the rail like that. Shaking his head, he drew himself back in a bit before responding with a bit more control this time around. 'Anything. Anything, but go back home... Yet.'

@(☾) Kim Taehyung There were many traits shoveled into Hoseok's existence, but as long as Taehyung got the basic ones in, things would be fine. More so than a death wish, the alpha gave himself a will to live. Something more than work and dealing with others who he didn't wish to see; he needed an outlet for fun. Honestly, any wolf can find Hoseok roaming the territory alone and fishing or just plain running on his own. People don't understand the stress that comes with being a leader. Yes, he gets to roll around in the abundance of omegas and betas sending pheromones his way, however that just stresses him out. He doesn't need to find a mate or sit through meetings every month; Hoseok just wants to live like a regular wolf sometimes.

And so, seeing Taehyung roll off into some bushes, Hoseok felt so cheerful. He sees the expression of someone else who also wants to live and be free. 'You did it! I knew you could!' The brown wolf happily stepped his feet into the ground, a sign of Hoseok's joyful attitude. 'Ah, you got all scratched up on your side though.' It must have been just a few scratches from when the wolf slid into the bushes. The alpha simply at the other's injuries, not wanting infection to set in since they were in a more dusty area of the territory. 'Any requests for what we do next?' Taehyung looked like he just wanted to keep jumping, and Hoseok had no problem with settling in on the ground to make sure the other remained safe for the most part.

So what with only having spent a whole of twenty minutes with Hoseok, Taehyung already had the guy pretty pegged down. For one thing, he had one of the sunniest smiles the younger had ever seen. Jesus, honestly it was dazzling in some ways, almost unnerving in others. He also learned that this guy had a death wish, which became only ever apparent the monent he bounded towards the cliff's edge, sailing through the air and landing with a flourish on the other end. But lastly, Taehyung learned that the elder was generous... As in quite generous enough to extend an invitation to said could-be death, all whilst wearing that damned grin... Yup. That seemed to just about cover all the main stuff.

But just as Taehyung even considered turning back, he caught the challenge in the other's tone, knew the goading that could be interwoven in it. His wolf side immediately raised its hackles already rearing back to prepare the jump. Wait... No, wait- But it was too late. One moment, his paws were digging into the grassy earth beneath him. The next he was careening through the air, wind rushing through the bows of his fur and weight almost nonexistent. But all too soon, he came crashing next to Hoseok on the other side, rolling into the bushes as excitement laced his blood. 'I- I did it! Heh, hell yeah!' He gathered himself up happily, his heart bursting in his ears and limbs twitching with jovial tension. 'I-' He wanted to go again. Wanted to FEEL that again. He wanted- Needed... His wolf was in a frenzy, pacing in excitement from having been restrained far too long. A soft growl escaped his throat as slowly widening eyes scittered about them, wild and almost unseeing.

Glad that Taehyung understood why exactly Hoseok couldn't just allow him to waltz on into their territory, the alpha just laughed menacingly at the cliffside. There really wasn't much chance of death as long as you jumped without hesitation. Even if Taehyung fell, he'd land in the water or bushes far down below, which could somewhat break his fall asking with some bones. 'Really, it's not a big deal. But you can't halfsie jump, you have to go with confidence. It's really a rush, look.' The alpha trotted back some good dozen feet before sprinting forward. He used his hind legs too push off when close to the edge and the wolf just about glided through the air and into a landing on the other side. Now, if that doesn't give Taehyung a rush of life, Hoseok's not sure what will. 'Just try it? It'll be okay. You just have to put your all into it.' Or die if you mess up, nothing really big.

'Even the kids can do this for some fun.' Wait... How old is Taehyung? Oh well, he's large enough to do this either way. With some encouragement and might, the young wolf cold overcome this.

Well , that made sense. Taehyung recalled the few times other wolves had dared to traverse to Northern territory and how up-in-arms every pack member within a 20 yard perimeter became. Of course, he'd regarded the event with bored disinterest, not really taking not of it up until now. 'Nah, nah... I understand,' he offered along with a soft nod, 'Gotta protect what's yours after all.' That was the part of wolf mentality that he still couldn't quite relate to... The family environment and the need to belong... It was so beyond him. At the offer, though, his interest was suddenly stirred aspointed ears stood atop his head. 'Heh- Damn, I'm that obvious? I mean I think everyone could use some fun for once. Unless... It's common for you guys?' He'd barely inquired this before the other was heading off, spurring Taehyung to spring into bound right behind him.

He had to admit, the Southern territory was lovely... Lush and vivacious were the flora and fauna that curled at their heels, bidding a greeting to the silvery sun rays above. It was beautiful and freeing and holy that's a long way down... Taehyung came to a screeching halt as Hoseok stopped them along the rocky edge of a cliffside. ... Nononono. 'Wait, you're serious?' He asked, certain that his human side was outright gaping at the other. This was it. Proof that this man was insane... And that HE was insane for even considering this. But the sorting zephyrs coaxed his fur, easing any anxiety with every deep breathe he took. 'You wanna jump... Over THAT.' With his muzzle, he jabbed a motion across the cliff and towards the opposite edge. 'Without dying... I mean, it sounds hella reasonable. Just wanted to make sure.' They were gonna die. They were both gonna die... Right there and right then, without a single soul around to mourn.

Sounded legit.

@(☾)Kim Taehyung The dip Taehyung's body lowered into only helped strengthen his case of being a harmless wolf. It's not that Hoseok didn't give his true offer before or that his pack would kill anything within a two mile radius of their wolves, it's simply a precaution. If only Hoseok had transformed back to his human form, the smile curling over his lips would be more visible to the eye. 'Don't worry, don't worry. This is how we are. If a wolf from another territory comes running in like you, of course we'd get defensive. Some will this this is a northern pack siege if you do that again.' He corrected the wolf, kicking up off with his hind legs, resulting in his paws to go in the air only to pat down on Taehyung's head and body. It represented a more affectionate gesture.

'Oh, the northerners are suffocating you? Sure, you can hang out around here, but you should keep close to me since the others might snap at you if you're alone.' Hell, they would claw a chunk out of the guy before Hoseok could even glance over. 'Hmmm, wanna go mess around? You seem tense.' Well, no duh, the poor guy almost got mauled. 'Oh oh, let's go explore. I'm sure you've never seen this area before.' Once again, the wolf form covered up his sunny grins, but the emotions hopefully came through his golden eyes. Overall, Hoseok's image depicts the normal wolf of this area; mixes of brown fur, yellow eyes, but he's also larger due to his alpha status and even more so held together since he's the main alpha. Some might think, what's an idiot like him being the leader for, however he's got a variety of skills he can attest to. Currently, a muzzle guided Taehyung in a different direction before Hoseok began running that way. 'C'mon, let's go!' If it wasn't the luscious streams and lovely environment that piqued Taehyung's interest, their activity of the hour would. Hoseok finally halted at the edge of a cliff which stared down another edge on the other side. 'You ready? It's cliff jumping.'

@(☆)Jung Hoseok Taehyung honestly hadn't known what he was expecting. As he crashed through the forest, branches bowing in his wake, it wasn't long before Hoseok's scent led him to a glossy river bank. There, he froze amidst the bushes in debate of his next move, barely taking a step further before the other rounded at him in a snapping flurry of growls. He leapt back instinctively, containing himself just in time to dip into a slight bow. It was a position that seemed so submissive and it damn well burned him to act it out... But this was the only way he figured he could portray his benevolence.

He couldn't help but flinch as the alpha's nose pressed against him, searching crevices for something Taehyung couldn't yet identify. 'Your offer earlier...' He blinked as his ears perked, catching the retreating steps of what he assumed was the Southern Pack's back-up. 'I'm just here to take you up on it.' Wow, was this a bad idea... Clearly not at all well thought out... For all he knew, Hoseok could've been joking and merely offering some casual banter in an effort of being polite... 'I mean... Dammit, I know this was stupid... I swear I didn't mean to jump at this, but I really just wanted to get outta there for a bit and you seemed pretty nice so-' He was rambling... Even in his mind, he was rambling... If anything, Taehyung wished he was an ostrich so he could bury his head in the sand without anyone thinking twice. But then again, at the rate he was going, they still probably wouldn't think much of it.

@(☾)Kim Taehyung Despite his overall thin built, Hoseok did have a more than decent set of muscles underneath his clothing which he would proudly display if challenged. In fact, the trip home worked some of them out after a simple morph into his wolf form to run back home. His scent became easy to track if you met the guy; he tended to smell of various flowers, differing in species each time you meet the alpha. It really depended on which flowers were in season and which were being bred specially at the shop Hoseok works at as a florist. The dark brown creature ended up fishing, though his head snapped up from a new smell. It's a...not southern. If something, anything, came from outside of their territory, Hoseok became extremely aggressive. His large form and some growls usually scared whatever poor rabbit or fox which stumbled into their territory off, but after racing towards the subject, he found it to be a wolf. Rather medium thing really... Must be a beta from the way his nose reacted

Slowly, his roaring growls died down as the alpha inspected the wolf while few others inspected the other as well. Oh, it's that guy from today, right? Confirming this after an invasive sniffing session, Hoseok called the other wolves with him off the trail and pat his feet in the ground multiple times. 'Why did you come here?' The alphas mood turned a bit more serious since this indeed signaled to a possible invasion, though Hoseok would have sniffed out companion wolves in the area if that were so.

@(☆)Jung Hoseok At the other's question, only then was Taehyung's attention called to Hoseok's appearance. The man was tall and lankily built with lithe limbs swinging about his torso. His face was full and his nose was narrowly defined. Eyes the shape of cut almonds werepiercing with those mahogany irises... No... He didn't look like a 'hick' per se... But he'd be damned before he admit that after such a cheesy wink. "Oh my gosh..." He murmured at the other's proposition, the makings of an amused chortle ebbing past his lips. "Please tell me you don't do this everyone... , man, that almost sounded like a-" But he was cut off then the moment his head alpha appeared, effectively driving the other off with nothing more than an accusation. Taehyung couldn't help but stare wide-eyed, his gaze tracking the other's retreating figure.

... This again.

This has happened ever since he became 'acquainted' with his pack brethren... The isolation sought out by the Northern wolves was unprecedented... But he couldn't help the wave of irritation that swept over him for once again being kept in line... Without a word, he brushed past Chanyeol and steered himself out of the mansion, disregarding the glances shot his direction. He picked up the other's scent easily now that he focused on it- a heady mix of April rain and clementines- and used it to trail persistently after Hoseok. He honestly wasn't sure what the hell he was planning, as he was certain this would be an invasion of territorial lines... But his inner wolf didn't seem to mind as it gladly shifted in need of some fresh air- his fur a dusky shade of auburn that mingled well with honeyed eyes.

@Lee Sungyeol Alright, heading into town to meet that alpha should be next, and then-- Hoseok's thought process cut off from a ear piercing shriek which caused the man to just about elbow the other in the throat out of self defense. "G-Geez, Sungyeol!" The head alpha wasn't in the highest of spirits, as shown by his grumpy expression, but how could he stay upset with Sungyeol of all wolves? With a deep breath which soon brought a soft smile to his lips, he simply shook his head. "You're so silly. I'm doing okay today, what about you?" Sungyeol is like a little brother to Hoseok on some days since he's been rather protective of him for so long now. Though the alpha usually hates looking after his pack members to this degree, something about the other makes him somewhat maternal. "Yeah sure, playing around might brighten up my mood." Laughing loudly from the words being sung out in his ear, he nodded and tossed the other off. "I said okay!"
