[open ; "night classes " ]
Studiously re-writing neat notes from the class he'd just left, Jinwoo found himself to be alone in the university library, something not uncommon. Having found himself needing to work to pay bills and rent, after the tragic but unexpected death of his mother, Jinwoo had found himself working full time at a cafè in the centre of town. Whilst job hunting 9 months ago he'd found it hard to find employment due to his lack of previous experience, therefore Jinwoo considered himself lucky to be working at all and valued his job above all else. However the desire to go to university and gain a degree in zoology had been too strong. It was something he'd wanted since childhood, when his facination/obession with wolves started. Unable to let his dream go Jinwoo found himself night classes and was willing to work at any hour to complete the necesary reading and memorising.

@(❂) Nam Joohyuk Sangil continued to sleep but being the light sleeper he was, his eyes snapped open as he starred ahead for a moment. Sighing, he runs a hand over his face before turning his head a little and shakes my head a bit. “I honestly didn’t think I would be seeing you here,” he said with a small yawn, rubbing his eyes a little before leaning back. “And why are you taking the bus of all things? Don’t you have a care or something,” he asked looking to him before looking away.

@(☯) Kang Jun It seemed like forever had expanded and swallowed the dark haired male while he prayed, counted, and relished in the pain. It was a funny thought, to know how wounded he was, and he could feel it; but it wasn't like he was feeling it physically.Everything was on another level. Like he was watching, and knew he should be in pain, but it just wasn't registering with his nerves. So he created the level of pain himself. The twigs and rocks that lay on the ground should be sharp so he inserted that sort of pain, and the wounds that were left in the wake of the wolf's teeth... Those he imagined burning with saliva that carried who knew how many diseases. His shoulder was at an odd angle, so he assumed it was dislocated, so that should be throbbing. Yes, he liked having everything in order, even if he had to command what his body felt. At least this way, he knew he was in control of the pain.

Rome kept his eyes closed when another sensation prickled his skin, a familiar feeling of presence coming closer. He liked it, whoever it was. Normally, the smell might be off-putting as someone that might challenge the cocky persona he'd donned in recent years, but he was not going to argue with off-putting when they could be the only thing between him and being gutted by these wolves. It was at this point that he felt a warmth coursing his limbs, and he recognized the feeling instantly. Not as something he wanted to happen, but as a defense mechanism - and with this, unlike managing his pain - Barom had no clue how to control it. Thankfully, he felt his body shrinking, twisting and coming back together before he grew dizzy and let his eyes close.

, now he had done it - He had fallen back into a form he only vaguely knew anything about, and he could hardly control his limbs in. Not that he should even be moving, judging by how he now felt his ribs shifting and grinding whenever he breathed, but he could now recognize the growls of the other wolves for what they were: Words, in another language, audible within each sound that he was unaccustomed to with his human mind, now suddenly making sense. It was odd, so odd, and he didn't like it, but the male-turned-wolf was at least taking solace in the voice of the one that seemed to be fighting for him, since he could not. It was only with mild surprise that his glassy green eyes looked up and he managed a whimper at the person that stood over him.

'Lovely,' he found himself thinking, as he saw the face of his teacher and role model. 'Did it really have to be him?' But again - right now was not the time to be complaining. he could have easily been one of those fattened calves that the male had growled of earlier. He let his head fall back onto the pavement that seemed much softer now that he had something to lay on, even if it was only his coat of russet brown fur, but at least he knew that he wasn't alone. Wolf or man, teacher, or savior; Kang Jun was a comforting presence to be around at a time like this. Another whimper broke through Rome's lips, or muzzle, more like, and he flicked his thick tail impatiently. Wasn't there something Jun could do, some way to coach him back to being human while he had the chance, so he could seek medical attention? He hoped that, beneath his obvious wounds, the respected male figure could sense the desperation coming from the halfer with no experience in this walk of life.

Had Jun the sheer ability to mold and manipulate the makings of his body like a potter could with clay, the damned knot housed at the base of his neck would be the first to go. Forget generous ours laboring at the mercy of barbells in the gym. Gone were the days of careless amusement. Perhaps he was being a bit too dramatic for someone as young as himself- still brimming with vigor at his twenty-fourth year of existence- but stress had that effect on people. It's what conjured the lifeless sigh that tumbled past his lips as he gathered his paperwork. It's also what egged him into dishing out maniacal heapings of analytical ventures and literary device agendas on his (some would say unfortunate) students, thus extending more of said paperwork onto his own plate. Hatred and bitterness were the furthest of his ripples cast from the touch of life's ery. Rather, he believed in knowing things and knowing them WELL.

Jun stood to his feet as he rolled his neck, flinching at the stab of pain that prodded his spine like a petulant child's chiding reminder for attention. But he stood resilient, easing down the corridor with that familiar soundtrack of clacks that normally accompanied him. This evening, though, the halls stood empty and silent, leaving his footfall to be his only companion. But then he froze, his body jarring to a halt as his briefcase swayed in his grip. The scent came before anything, as was per usual with a nose as irritatingly sensative as his own. The bitter stench of timeworn carcasses mingling with sanguinous earthen clay- the type found nowhere near this city. He was up and moving before the word 'rogue' could even float to the forefront of his mind, fear caking the spaces between his quickened paces and jumbled strings of curses hollowing out the depths of his throat.

The smell took him right towards one of the back lots outside of the Liberal Arts building- vacant, of course... And spacious enough for his eyes to glean a full view of the scene. Wolves. Three of them, all hunching lithe, dirt-clad figures toward a- Wait... Jun shifted as soon as the 'other' scent registered in his mind- one of printer toner and the campus's overpriced café.

He charged the stooping wolf in the center, only to be countered on the side by another. Whipping his head, Jun bore his teeth out and sank his jaws into whatever fur-lined area he could the moment the beast was close enough, summoning a howl of pain as blood not of his own filled Jun's mouth. Inwardly, he retched at the soured taste- metal decrepit with rust- before launching forward and knocking the wolf towering over his intern towards a handicap parking sign. The two rolled in a fury of claws and fangs- a particular swipe managing to nip him in the abdomen. But then Jun found his teeth sinking into the other's neck, clamping down threateningly as they both drew still.

The other two wolves- one now with a limp- flinched as it seemed the one he'd sunk his mouth around was their self-proclaimed leader. Tightening his grip, he projected his thoughts to them with every amount of fury he could muster. 'YIELD.' And none of the wolves moved, the growls of the one beneath him sending vibrations into his gums until Jun silenced them to whimpers with a twitch of his head. 'I don't give a who you are or why you've come here. Get off of my campus and out of this city.' He sat up then, chestnut eyes ablaze with every intention to fulfill his next threat. 'Or I'll gut you like fattened calves.'

It took only moments aftwerward for the wolves to disperse, an occasional glare thrown back at him which he heartily returned. But now for the hard part... Jun cast a glance at his intern- Barom, or 'Rome', as he rathered, shifting back before his eyes with unsteady breaths and sweat dotting his hairline. "So... I take it the counselor won't be of any help here..."

@(☯) Kang Jun Barom knew he was pushing it by staying so late at the school, but his lit professor/teaching mentor would be the death of him if teaching didn't get the first shot. On top of his regular courseload, he also had to endure the elder male heaping on projects and books for the class that Barom was teaching - as though there were no other classes to focus on. Honestly, he kind of thought that the other male may have been jealous of him... It was just an inkling, one of those funny feelings he got around people sometimes, but something about that man just screamed "stand-off" when Rome was around. The worse part was, the brunet ate it up.
He liked the feeling that it gave him to be threatening to someone for a change, having lived his whole adolescence trying to fit in rather than stand out or draw attention to himself. He just craved normalcy. But now, normalcy was deadlines, lengthy assignments and very little sleep. Which was how he ended up at the university late this evening, trying to catch up on Lit A, while the thoughts of the lesson plans he'd have to submit for the next week crept through his head at a snail's pace. So much to do, and so little workable time during the day. Rome sighed, packing up his things as the hour grew later, far past his normal bedtime, and left the silent library behind him. Books slung over one shoulder in a heavy canvas bag, his school uniform slightly disheveled from where he had tugged the tie loose and ed the top few closures, and his normally stick straight, flat hair was sticking up around his temples where he had balled his fist to rest his head as he read - Oh, yes, our boy was a hot mess if one ever could exist, and sadly, his night was not about to get any better.
The inkling came back: a creeping, crawling feeling over his body that made his nose twitch and tingle. Something was wrong, the second he let the heavy doors of the library shut, he knew it. Rome had gotten used to having fairly good instincts, as he considered them, always trying to push away the fact that they were those of a more feral part of him the he never wished to explore. He was just Yu Barom. Single, student, doing his teaching internship, nothign exciting. Certainly not part of one of these wolf clans people always whispered about, and the nightmarish stories that adults always told their children. Nope. It didn't matter to him that his family hailed from such a line. He had experienced it once and never wanted to again. Tonight, however,he got the feeling that it would be nearly impossible to keep himself from doing something out of character.
That was when the smell hit him, and the hairs on the back of his neck stood up. Akin to rotting meat and urine, the smell of the rogue wolves was well documented around here. There was nothing good in these, they hunted and killed strictly for murderous pleasure as the stories went. Knowing this much, the brunet looked around, trying to think of where he might be able to take cover... But around here, nothing came to mind. And just like that, it was too late. One arm was ripped to his side as his bag went flying from his hand as though something was yanking him left, but the searing pain in his right side, just over his ribcage, told him there was more than one thing to worry about. The wolves had snuck up on his and caught the young man by surprise, as they always seemed to when hunting inside the city lines. He should have known better, he thought as he staggered backwards, falling flat on his while one rogue wolf decided to tease his prey by standing over him. "... This would be the end..." Rome mused to himself, lifting his arms up over his face and waiting for the attack to hit, contemplating whether or not shifting was a viable option; that was if he could even manage to pull it off.

@Choi Minho After a while he blinked , quickly turned and sure enough their was someone up here slowly backing up into the doorway. " Hey be careful you'll fall down the stairs" He wiped his eyes sniffling as he took a good look at him, oh yeah wolf , normally he would be scared but was too depressed to care.

@(❂) Do Kyungsoo Minho climbed up the stairs towards the rooftop, his footsteps making no noise as he continued to walk towards his destination. He wanted to take a quick breather from all the lessons he had for the day. His toned legs finally carried him to the top of the stairs, his right hand making its way to turn the knob of the door quietly. His eyes widened slightly when he took in the sight in front of him, his face otherwise not showing any expression. He stood rooted at his spot, his body stiff and frozen as the wheels in his head tried to turn and figure out his next course of action. Minho did think of wanting a change in scenery, but he didn't mean that he would interrupt someone in their private moments. He sighed internally, exasperated. He just stared at the other man for a moment, before proceeding to slowly walk backwards as he tried to get out of the rooftop without being noticed.

Soo was in between classes and is now hanging out on the roof. Looking out the view he thought of his beloved grandfather, thinking fondly of the times they spent together. Then the memory of his mangled body , the cold eyes of those rogues , the way they sneered at him like he wasn't worth killing, cause him to collaspe to his knees sobbing. The nightmares , the meltdowns, he couldn't be strong in this moment , he was alone he could be weak now if he wanted;
