Suzy blinks slowly before biting her lip in thought. Should she make a joke or just leave it be. She wanted to make it more comfortable but she didn't know how. ' Gah this is hard! ' The servavnt ,mentally, was pulling her hair all the while pulling random things to say out of her . Shaking her head, Suzy in a breath and put on a stern look, not too serious but to make it believable, " Well it's not like you do a good job anyway..." She bit her lip, gnawing on it and was tempted to go to her nails also. A nervous habit turned bad the more she thought about things that made her anxious. " Anyway, I think you actually did a good job on my routine instead. Your routine is pretty easy though but to say that it's quite tedious is an understatement. " Suzy shrugged and walked among the different flowers and herbs that crowded the breezy garden. " Thought...your job suits you pretty much. Considering you don't complain quite like I do." The girl servant smiled to herself and raised her head to the clouds. " I wonder when a day will come when I get to venture outside the palace and explore what there is left for me to explore..." She paused and turned back to the boy servant behind her. " Ah...but I am getting ahead of myself, aren't I? Any dreams of yours you'd like to share?"

A day in my life? Most of the time I'm riding around the palaces checking in on things.
My main job is to serve as the Emperor's second hand.
Other than that I maintain the army and everyone in the palace to make sure everyone does their jobs

They really do talk so lowly about the Imperials especially me! You would think that being the governor they wouldn't think you treat women so lowly. The imperial concubines get treated better than anyone in the palace.

I won't be much longer til i decide to not accept any of your offers so please be sure to make it quick i have other business to take care of here.

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy (pfft okay so my bg for him had changed a little so I don't want you to be too confused if he does or says something kinda out of character. He just has memory lapses because of the brain damage and all so yeah. That's why he acts like a weird sometimes XD)

Jihwan's eyebrow twitched a little as the atmosphere shifted into something that was more uncomfortable then anything. Was she really going to start a conversation like that. He probably wouldn't have known how to answer anyway. He was glad she changed her mind before he could say anything because this was starting to go downhill very quickly and he was just starting to like this new relationship they had. As long as these awkward moments were not a long term thing. While she tried to figure out something simple to say, he looked anywhere but her as he usually did when he talked to people so he wouldn't make it worse for her. He focused more on the ground before them than what she was saying, realizing that the maids had probably just been through here not too long before they had. They did a fine job, indeed. Since when did he start paying attention to how well a job they did anyway? It made no difference to him so why bother. He glanced over at her a few times as she rambled and chuckled mainly to himself. "Oh- yes. I wanted to see whether they really did it or not. I usually tend to the garden so I just wanna make sure." he gestured for her to go out before him as they made it to the door.

Bae Suzy heard a loud groan before a thumb and she quietly cheered in her head before looking around her room for another weapon in case the said figure got back up from their hit. The servant panicked when she found nothing nearby and was very tempted to just run out the room and warn the guards. But she heard a rustle of something like paper fall to the floor, partially hidden by the darkness in the room and the gleam of the moonlight outside. Suzy hesitated first but she soon saw the she heard no more movement from her attacker and stepped lightly and slowly towards the paper. She picked it up and what she seen and read made her blood run cold.

Assassinate Imperial Servant Bae Suzy
Rewards: 5000 gold pieces, to be completed in a week's time

Suzy hadn't meant to do it but she gasped out loud and dropped the paper. How could this be? What had she done? She'd spent most of her time in the palace so she couldn't have committed a crime! Now the girl was pissed. First she'd have the guards take care of her attacker and then send this paper two the governor. This was not supposed to happen and who knew if more were to come for her! Suzy looked up from her crisis infront of her and paid attention to the one that was to end her semi-happy life. Should she check if they were awake? Had she killed them?! Her blood, already cold, ran cold once more and she felt the chills slither up through her veins. Her body began shaking and she stepped back with a hand to in horror.

She-she couldn't kill anyone. That wasn't her. And with all the shivers, panic, and hyperventilating, Suzy fainted into a pitch black abyss behind her eye lids.

@ⒾⓈ Jeon Jihwan So the servant followed with a steady stride right behind him. Yes, this was nice. Maybe a bit of fresh air could clear her system. It was soon becoming awkward between the two and Suzy wasn't really for the atmosphere around them so she looked around the corrider to avoid seeming rather uncomfortable before playing with the jam jar in her hands. Why did she still have this in her hand? " Sooo...uhh...haha- sorry I'm not very good at conversing. " Suzy rubbed her nape aswell with an embarrassed red face. Met with silence, she frowned and shrugged. Ofcourse. This took on for sometime, the quiet was killing her, and she really didn't know how to start a new conversation. She tried again this time, something more general. " So...nice weather right? " ' Suzy, what the heck are you thinking?! We are inside, there isn't a cloud in here! ' Suzy yelled at herself before she squeezed her eyes and sighed. " I-I mean...let's just forget that question." The servant breathed deeply in concentration before focusing her eyesight on the walls of the corridor. She really didn't have much time to pay attention to her surrounding and she regretted it immediately. " I've never seen such beautiful patterns in the wall until now..." She voiced her thoughts, not caring on his reaction but more on the fact that she really needed to just stop and smell the roses, literally. Everything around her had begun to sptake form of some sort of artwork for her. The candlelight mountings casted shadows on the walls, bringing out the features of the designs even more. Suzy stared in astonishment as she passed each one. Before she could get any further in her thoughts, Suzy turned her head towards his back. " Are we going back to the garden? "

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Jihwan had been caught off guard again for what seemed like the thousandth time today. What was going on? He gave her a nervous smile and shook his head automatically, trying to explain himself in a way that made him seem less like a real loon. "No. The thing is, There was this thing I used to do as a kid. For my mother before she got sick... Haha I just wanted to see if I could attempt it again." he rubbed his nape and shrugged it off, trying to seem nonchalant. Her comment about him seeing unapproachable didn't phase him much but he took note on the part about him smiling more. Maybe it would help him along the way. He also took note on how nervous she was. It was a sight to see, really. No one would ever believe him if he even tried to tell them. He'd keep this between them though because if it wasn't noticeable already, he was quite a wreck himself. He held up a hand to show that it was fine and gestured for her follow him. "The floors are a little more steady outside."

@ⒾⓈ Jeon Jihwan They shook hands and it was final. Suzy grinned wide and finished her bread in silence before chuckling to herself. " I understand that we're both a little coocoo but I really want to know why you were dancing? " With a tilt of her head, she raised her eyebrow in question. He had looked so happy and carefree she wondered that maybe it was when he was alone that this always happened. Suzy could remember her fair share of happy moments but nit as happy as him. And, although she really wouldn't admit it, she was kind of jealous. Even though it's in the past now, he had every right to be happy and she was just putting him down every chance she could get. Suzy mentally slapped herself for such stupidity before sighing to herself. " I'm not really much for compliments but..." The servant rubg her hands together and chewed her bottom lip, a nervous habit she picked up over the years, " But I think you look best when you smile more. People will probably understand your ways if you don't seem so...unapproachable?" Suzy's eyes widened and she put her hands up in defense. " N-no offense! "

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy "Bam!" The sound made when the person fell on the floor was so loud, Victoria was afraid that anyone nearby might hear the commotion and come to investigate, she hoped that no one would notice what was going on in this room now. Well, now that the room she is in is dark so this would attract less attention. Victoria looked at the person on the floor and was about to subdue her and interrogate her when she realised it was the same person Victoria saw in the middle of the garden. "What a coincidence...." She thought to herself as she examined the girl's facial features closely. "What a beauty she is...."

Victoria was all so distracted that she did not realise that the girl was going to retaliate back, she did not realise the girl rolling away to grab some sort of self defense weapon. It was only until at the corner of her eye she saw something flying towards her, that broke Victoria out of her trance. She had no time to dodge it this she tried to deflect it away with her hand, but unfortunately, it bounced of her hand and hit the side of her face. Victoria immediately felt a hot burning sensation on her cheeks as she stumbled to her side hit the wall, groaning loud in pain. Lucky for her, her ninja hood partially protecting her face from coming into direct contact with the hot candle wax, Victoria ripped her ninja hood off her head as she held on to her left cheek. Little did she know, the paper that contains information of her assassination paper slipped out from her pocket.

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Jihwan composed himself and ate the bread with the jam, very pleased with the taste. Maybe it was just because he was half starved to death but it was like nothing he had ever had before. He was genuinely relieved that this little feud of theirs was over because it was one less thing to wrack his brain with during his hectic schedule.His guard was always up but at least he knew she was on his side and not waiting for him to sleep so she could strike. Now that he looked at her, she looked the same. Like a weight had been lifted off of her and she could breath correctly. He preferred this more playful version of her more than any and smiled lightly, taking in all of these new expression he'd never got to see before. Not with her always down his throat about something. He scoffed playfully and rolled his eyes, not even commenting there. He was pleased with that she was really speaking truthfully now. People couldn't help how they were brought up and he knew that all too well. "I get what you're saying. I was raised to hold my head high, no matter the status of the person but always be respectful, even when protecting myself. It's complicated but I don't think much of it." with that,he stuck out a hand for a shake, signifying their truce of sorts.

@ⒾⓈ Jeon Jihwan Suzy straightend up once again and blinked. Well that wasn't so hard. And! He forgave her so he didn't hate her either. That was a relief. So Suzy smiled slightly in a lopsided grin and fixed herself up despite the sweat on her forehead and began to act gracefully again. " I won't forgive you for laughing at me but I appreciate the honesty. " Suzy laughed a bit, feeling slightly airy and out of this world and maybe a little ditzy, and took some of her bread before biting into it, the apricot jam going nicely with it. All this mess gave her hunger pangs and she couldn't stand being hungry. So as she chewed she nodded and listened, swallowed and chewed some more. This was Suzy in her natural state. Pure, sweet, and quirky...and not to mention famished. " Well ofcourse. All that dancing around before really should have hit home!" The servant mischievously grinned and bit into another slice before chewing and swallowing. But she was once again brought back to the way she had acted before the humiliating incident. Had it really been that bad? " The gesture was just an apology and I really shouldn't have acted like that. I..." Suzy stopped and swallowed as if she had a big lump in . " I rarely apologize to people lower in my status because I was told that it was their fault they acted that way. " The girl wrily responded and took another bite of bread. But this time she chewed more slowly and thought more deeply about each bit of apricot she got into .

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Jihwan felt like he was in some sort of dilemma. Should he be worried or not? Worried for her sake or for his? He decided that he would find a good place to take a nice long nap because this was ridiculous. Seriously. She was awkward. He was awkward. No one was yelling. The atmosphere was almost unbearable and he didn't understand why. Things should be easier now. He, once again, went to respond but he was once again struck plain stupid at her next move on the board. This was probably the worst situation he had ever been in. It would be the most embarrassing if anyone were here. She was apologizing again and she was making it loud and clear. Which there was no need for. For a moment, he didn't know what his next move was but after what seemed like centuries of gazing, he broke into another fit of laughter. "Wow- I mean, look. I don't hate you. I always assumed you just couldn't stand my entire being. And I didn't understand why so I took it out on you... I'm sorry the same. For all the crap I've put you through and said." he tensed then and cleared his throat. "In all honesty, I don't remember what happened but you're not that bad. It couldn't have been that huge if I can't even remember." he gave her a small smile and held up the bread. "Thank you. For this I mean. I didn't realize I hadn't eaten at all today until I saw it." he just wanted her to come out her bow already so he could speak properly with her. He was trying not to laugh again and he had to hide it behind the bread.

@ⒾⓈ Jeon Jihwan Suzy was a pile of liquid mush right now and she couldn't comprehend what the heck she just did. ' Really, Suzy, Really?! ' She chastised herself for everything she ever done wrong in her life for this to happen. Taking a deep breath, the girl nodded about 100 times before shaking her hands from the nerves. " Wow!...I mean..uh...that was hard. " She chuckled to herself nervously, not making eye contact with the boy in front of her. The servant looked down and stared at the throne room's floors, taking an interest in how shiny they were now. Suzy listened to him awkwardly accept her token of an apology, probably thinking she was such an idiot for believing he'd actually forgive her. " Uh..w-well! It's no big deal, I usually can take the insults and turn them into hard work. You know haha-..haehhh~" Suzy tried to be funny, really, but her sort of jokes were more forced than any. " Oh why am I even like this? " She breathed for the first time that day. "...okay, I'll say it properly this time! " She cried to herself out of desperation and finally looked up, reached a dainty hand out less gracefully than she intended and yelled. Yes, yelled! " Jeon Jihwan, sorry for everything I've ever said or done or heard of or about you! I've noticed that lately I've been such an, pardon my language, to those around me that I fail to realize the feelings of others! " Then the young girl bowed deeply and she was afraid she may have done it too deeply for she almost loss her balace... yet again. " Please accept my apology! " And then the servant was shaking. Honestly, was there a cool breeze in here because she felt like she'd shimmy all the meat off her bones. Suzy finished with a mumbled, jumbled sentence " Although I truly didn't remember the reason why you hate me....now I see. I'm such a mean person. " Finished. Done. Fin! Suzy told herself she was proud but she didn't really feel up to par with her feelings. She was sweaty, shaking, and a mess all together in front of her greatest enemies of all time. But hopefully that'd changed because this apologizing process really took a toll on her.

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Jihwan felt kind of awkward under her gaze. She seemed somehow, entranced and he was starting to think that she had taken some sort of drug before coming here because she was acting strange. Stranger than usual at least. He was beginning to worry a little. He hadn't even realized that she was holding anything in her hands until she was close enough to clearly see all of her features. Was she always this flustered looking. He would have to pay more attention sometimes. He would have replied to her last comment if she hadn't completely lost her balance, almost crashing right into him. What the hell was going on here. He felt like he was dreaming or something because everyone was so out of wack today.

"Woah- uhh.." he didn't know how to respond and he had his hands out to help her but she seemed to straighten herself out and she kept rambling, barely comprehensible. He watched the servant carefully just in case something really was wrong but he kept a good enough distance just in case this really was a joke or something. He was struck dumb when she held out the bread and jam to him. All sense in him was gone and he stuttered, trying to find a reply. 'Wake up, Jihwan. This is nothing but a crazy dream. You've got too many chemicals running loose up here.' he blinked a few times before he could figure how to command his body to take the offering. But should he take it? She probably wanted to poison him. How sadistic. He hadn't done anything that bad, had he? "Oh- uhh.. nah, it's fine, really. I may have provoked you too much. I tend to do that or so I've heard." he finally reached out to take it and gave her a short nod, trying to keep his usual cool and composed demeanor. But on the inside his brain was melting becuase was she really APOLOGIZING right now?

@ⒾⓈ Jeon Jihwan The girl had listened intently and stared for almost ten minutes after he finished his speech. It wasn't so much on the way he talked or how carefree he seemed at the moment but her plan of action was just a few measily steps away. Suzy growled to herself 'Grow up,Suzy....you blockhead! ' she said to herself in thought. Before snapping out of it and breaking eye contact, she found herself quite flustered and noticed the bread and jam in her hands shaking. " Hmm...I believe we are both losing our minds at the moment. " Suzy murmured before glancing up and towards the polish. " I suppose I'll have to check on the contents once more....and for the goons part...well these goons got all your worked done. " The girl raised her head, not even so mad about the insult but rather on how the hell she was to go about this apology.

Suzy sighed and wiped her forehead before walking towards her partner in the workforce. Her steps were steady and untimed, although she never really timed them, it was for good measure. These were more ungraceful and less delicate. She trudged as she walked and walked for what seemed long a long walk in the desert because Suzy felt like she was boiling. But, unfortunately, right as she had thought that she was done with her journey, Suzy tripped! But thank goodnees for the stable column holding up her coworker for she quickly grabbed hold of that and panicked. Had she really been breathing this hard? Her breaths were shallow and untimely. Everything had to be timed! " S-sorry!.." Suzy blurted out and her eyes widened to a degree even she didn't think was possible. Shaking her head, she took a deep breath and held out half of the bread in her arms along with the jam, all of it shaking in her unstable hands. " I-I-I mean! ....sheesh....sorry for saying those...you know...things to you. " Suzy chopped out almost robotically. She probably thought she officially looked like a hot mess and was shaking to her bones.

Not very timely Suzy, she thought to herself.

@β Victoria Qian All Suzy heard was a crash and a loud metallic sound of something heavy falling. The imperial servant had dealt a great deal of pain. But to be hit unnoticed felt like something was standing on your lungs. Suzy blinks as many as time as she could count before she opened both her eyes. Great! The knockback made her blind. But she noticed that the sudden gust of wind must have blew out the fire on the candle. The girl breathed slowly and groaned. " O-ooow.." She hadn't meant to say anything other than lay there and have whatever was going to happen be done to her. Bae Suzy looked up and could already tell it was human...with long hair...and it breathing steadily. Suzy was minding her buisness-well semi-minding- and of a sudden she heard the noises and was on the floor. What was going on today? Had she done something for this? The servant thought for a moment before glaring. That damn feather! It was cursed! Suzy felt some sort of powerful mask come over her and decided that by sitting....no, laying here, it was her death wish. She stared at the figure before looking around, all the while reminding herself not to panic. Suzy spotted, in the gleam of the moonlight, the harsh features of her candlestick. Suzy tried to hold back her grin but she only let out a small triumphant smile as she crawled her fingers over to the candle.

Her chest felt like it was about to cave in but she wouldn't give up now. Suzy used all the force she could manage and twisted her body into a full bodyroll and ended landing on her stomach beside her chosen weapon. She felt hot wax graze her upper arm but she paid no mind before grabbing the candlestick and hurling it at her attacker. If she missed she didn't know but it was as if it was in slow motion as the metal piece was hurled through the air, aimed straight for her victim now.

Suzy wasn't going down without a fight.

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Jihwan immediately recognized the voice but didn't really have the capacity to put his guard up and make a snarky comeback. He didn't even have a reason to. He hummed in reply and pushed his hair back, out of his face so he could see correctly. "You saw that then? There's something in this polish. Either that or I've completely lost my mind." he chuckled sheepishly and stood from his crouched position by the column. He dusted himself off and put everything away before acknowledging her fully. "And I assume you've got goons doing my usual work as well? How thoughtful." he smiled shortly and clasped his hands together behind him.

Jihwan had never taken more than a few glances at Suzy and most of the faces she had made toward him were simply out of pure disgust. Either way, looking at her now, he could see that she looked a little out of it. By the way she was speaking to him, he knew that to be quite true. He had to laugh to himself because it had only been a few hours since they had last spoken and they would have been at each other's throat if any longer. He tsked lightly and gestured to the room to show his work. "Well, I've finished up in here and you said you had more work for me..."

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Victoria observed every one of the girl's actions, her optimism, her happiness, everything seemed so graceful to her. She thought of her past self, the days when she was constantly training, almost no freedom was given to her. Day after day after day, fighting, concealing herself in the shadows, stamina training, it was difficult to even enjoy life during that period. Victoria continued to observe the imperial servant, she has never met anyone this pretty before, they way she fixes her hair, she way she speaks, it was like Victoria meeting her own dream girl. "Damn what am I thinking?" Victoria shook her head and dismissed the thought that was crossing through her mind, her mission was not to find her dream girl, but to assassinate her target.

Victoria noticed that the girl disappeared into the palace, closing the gates after her. "I don't think sneaking in there would be an easy task.. Curse those imperial guards...." Victoria sighed and she waited for something to happen, she was trying to formulate a plan at the same time as well. She looked up and saw a small 2 storey building with a window open. "Ah ha! Maybe I can get into the palace from there and find out who the target is!" Before Victoria can make any move, she noticed that candle lights were coming out from the room, indicating that someone was inside. She thought of subduing the person in the room and interrogate the person, asking whereabouts is her assassination target. As Victoria made her way closer to the building, she made a beginner's mistake, stepping onto a twig. "Twak!" "!"

Victoria ducked as low as possible to avoid being seen from above, it is nearly impossible to avoid being detected when she does not have the high ground. Fortunately for Victoria it is already night time and she could hide more easily in the shadows. "Come on Victoria.. Think! You can't be caught here." Victoria reminded herself silently. She hears footsteps coming closer towards the window and a voice questioning who is underneath her window. "This is my chance! I will take the person by surprise." Victoria springs into action as she ninjas her way up to the window, grabbing onto the wooden ledges and support as she makes her way up to the window without difficulty.

As she reaches the window, she knees the person in the chest immediately.

@β Victoria Qian "Suzy! " Startled out of her trance, a servant called her name from the door and Suzy turned briskly and bowed before nodding. " Yes? " The servant responds back energetically, eager to get away from the garden and into more work. It caused her to lose focus when she wasn't particularly doing something productive. So she was quite happy to hear that dinner was to be prepared early instead for the Emperor had a meeting to attend at nightfall. " Okay, I will be right there!" Suzy happily called back before looking down at her hands. The feather she held gleemed in the afternoon colors and casted a beautiful glow on its delicate features. Happy or not, she had to find a way to the meaning of this feather. Suzy blew a raspberry and fixed her slightly frayed hair, pat down her hanbok, and smiled big. Whatever it meant it did not need attention now and she would get to it as soon as she was ready. The imperial servant began her last routine of the night as she walked into the mohogony gates and into the palace, shutting it closed slightly.

Now the girl was in her bedroom, currently sitting on the edge of her bed, with a window open to the garden below. The breeze, she had found out, helped circulate thoughts for her fellow servants so she popped open the latch and left it open to the cool night air. With dinner prepared and everyone satisfied, she concluded that maybe a few moments of peace to herself would cause her to spark a clue in the feather's importance. Her father, for what she had heard, had been the general in the previous war. She didn't want to think the worse but perhaps he had been killed. But before she could come to a conclusion she heard a snap- an unfortunate twig- and a harsh curse flitter from her window. "!"

Suzy wasn't much for ghost tales and creepy fables but she wished she'd never heard of such a thing when the sound arose. Scared out of her wits and completely shivering from head to toe, not because of the cold but because of the fright, Suzy slowly stood up and slowly...very slowly...made her way towards the window. She hadn't meant to sound frightened because perhaps that was what the ghost fed on but by God who couldn't be scared at this moment? With what dignity she had left, Suzy let out a peep in a low voice " W-who goes there?"

@ⒾⓈ Bae Suzy Using prior knowledge, Victoria knows that most of the imperial servants come out of their sleeping quarters to work during the day to late evening, while some does not have duties during the night. Victoria did not want to take any chances thus she decided to set out during evening, just before nightfall, where clouds would cover the sun as it slowly sets. "Damn... Doing a mission at a time like this... Not what I liked, but on the bright side, at least it is not day time where there is so much light" Victoria complained to herself as she hastily makes her way towards the imperial quarters where imperial servants reside. "Now let's see... I'm guessing she might be at the garden at this timing, hopefully no one else is there.." Victoria said as she went through numerous back alleys to prevent herself from being seen.

Upon arriving at the imperial empire's walls, she easily scaled it due to her many years of training. "Good thing is, the garden is at the edge of the empire, saves me lots of trouble eh.." Victoria says as she descends swiftly and quietly from the wall on the other side, entering the imperial garden for the first time. She immediately spots a girl who is wearing an imperial servant uniform and Victoria quickly hides behind some tall bushes while observing the person. "She could be my target... Have to go closer to take a look" Victoria slowly moves along the length of the bush, which brings her closer to the person.

"Twak!" A snap can be heard as Victoria steps on a small branch on the floor. "!" She cursed at herself.
