@ℰ Bang SungHoon Once Kyungri arrived back at the estate everyone was was seated getting rid eat in front of the mirrors in the room. She walked over to her bed to sit down and do the same. Another concubine came up to Kyungri asking her where she had been while everyone was already getting ready and doing their makeup. Kyungri preferred not to tell the woman where exactly she had been during the time they were given. Even so she was going to find out sooner or later what happened through the head maid or servants. Kyungri got up from sitting on her bed and changed into her hanbok that had been special made for the gala. She walked over to look in a full body mirror to make sure that everything fitted correctly and looked right for the gala. The head main came into the room warning the girls that they only had a few minutes left before they were to leave to the banquet hall. Once the maid left the room Kyungri quickly brushed her hair into place and slide a pin to hold her side bangs out of her face. After finished she sat waiting for the head maid to come and lead them to the banquet hall.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri Continuing the game he had started, he had smacked himself in the head for forgetting to tell her that she didn't see him running around. He made it to the library. He grabbed the books he wanted and made his way back to his room. He grabbed one servant on the way and had her keep silent. He gave her the task of writing the name of everyone in the palace and their positions and to report back to him tomorrow. Back into his room, Sunghoon had crawled back into bed. Just as he craked open a book, servants and maids rushed in to get him ready ahead of everyone else. He groaned and tried to get them to do it later. "Go to the Empress first." He ordered. They all agreed since the Empress would take longer. They left everything to be set up for him in the room and left. He quickly jumped up to lock his door and continued back to his bed to enjoy a book.

@ℰ Bang SungHoon Kyungri stopped in her tracks hearing him speaking once again. Taking a deep sigh she listened to him list all of the accusations against her. Walking away without being dismessed. The idea slipped from her head so quickly she was lost with what else to ask. But if she were to speak out against his ruling the punish mentioned she would receive would be far worse. She already had enough on her plate and she didn't need to go around carelessly adding more to it. Kyungri tighten her grip on her hand upon heating that her mistakes were to be reported to the head maid. She was already deep in trouble getting moved at the gala will cause the other concubines to start more gossip. Though she wasn't all too happy about the gala to begin with she was going to do her best to try and enjoy it while she could. Kyungri walked out of the room and headed back to the estate once she was sure that the emperor had left the room. All that was left for her to do now was to finish getting ready for later that night.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri The Emperor shook his head in slight disappointment. "There is nothing wrong with having fun or even dreaming of ruling, but there are boundaries and if anyone else were to find you in my chair, they'd toss you out of the palace." He noticed she had yet to apologize for her carelessness. "You have not been dismissed, yet you walk away." He shook his head as he spoke to himself, "I will have the maids train you guys in manners once again. This is a palace, not a play ground." He was upset over this but wasnt really sure why exactly. It bothered him to see her in his chair. One of the women of the palace, who didn't dare to even spend some alone time with him but dared to sit in his chair. Even if it were a dream, her spot would only be that of an empress. He walked off before he got carried away and spoke carelessly. "I'm reporting this to the head maid, Your spot at the gala will be changed for your carelessness." He walked out of the room to the library to carry on his mission. He still couldnt understand what was bothering him. Was it because he couldnt even recognize who she was? How many concubines and maids does he even have? He set out a personal note to find out more later on.

@ℰ Bang SungHoon Looking up in front of her she made out the figure of a male. When she looked closer it turned out to be the figure of the emperor himself. Her eyes widen in shock to see him standing before her. "My liege it still seems to be much nicer to sit in the Emperor's chair." She spoke standing up from his seat to walk down the steps to meet him amd bowing before him. "I was just having a little fun. That's all. One can have dreams of ruling right?" She said as she stood up straight to face him. She'd never spoke infomally around the emperor and it was her job to treat him with the utmost respect he deserved. "I should be heading back to the estate now. I'd like to give you my congrats on my own respects rather than with the other concubines. I feel it's more sincere that way." Kyungri bowed and began to start walking towards the entrance of the room.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri Avoiding guards and nurses and maids was hard. Why were there so many anyways? Sunghoon realized that he ownly recognized maybe half of the people working for him. He made a mental note to go and meet the others, possibly switch people out every now and then. He heard footsteps coming his way so he had to move fast. The emperor had slipped himself in through a secret entrance to get to the room next to it which was the library. an eyebrow peaked when he saw the little frame in his chair. Walking up in front of it, he cleared his throat. He hid this smug look on his face knowing how her reaction would be. "I believe the emperor already has an empress. She has a chair of her own you know."

@ℰ Bang SungHoon On her around the place Kyungri came across the throne room. Thought it had been cleaned and polished to perfection it was going to be necessarily used for the gala tonight. Kyungri first peeked inside checking to make sure that none of the servants were around to see her. Whne she suspected that it was clear she slipped inside the room and walked up towards the Emperor's chair that was placed at the back of the room. Kyungri walked up the stairs to sit in the chair. It wasn't meant to fit her small stature but it was quiet amusing to her to sit upon the throne itself. "All Hail Kyung--" lowering her voice a but she thought she had heard a noise coming from behind her.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri Now that everyone had time to themselves, Sunghoon stayed in his room for the time being. He was happy that he was able to wake u plate today and have some free time. Just in case any random pressing issues wanted to pop up, he decided to take a quick trip to the library for a couple books, of course sneakily so he wouldnt be seen. In and out as if he never left his room. Of course He could simply ask a maid to quietly fetch him some books, but this way seemed a little more fun. This way if he gets caught, he can get some exercise in running away. He peaked out his room door just to see some guards there. He took a back entrance from his room since no one is usually around there. It would take longer to get to the library but it was all for the game. Sunghoon continued to peak around corners and swiftly walk down hallways getting closer and closer to his destination.

@ℰ Bang SungHoon Come morning Kyungri was rudely awakened by the sound of the maids scrambling to go and wake the emperor. Some of them were even rushing to call the nurses and doctors to the place to make sure that he was neither sick or dead. Once everything was quite down everyone was able to proceed to get ready for the gala. None of the maid waisted time to get the concubines ready for later that evening. The estate was busy as can be with servants doing the women's hair, giving them their baths, and preparing their clothes. Once all of them were finished they were finished they were able to dress in an informal hanbok as well as time to do as they please. Though there was nothing that Kyungri was hoping to do she decided to take a walk around the palace.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri The emperor looked in rooms he hadnt had the time to visit in so long, he looked in rooms he was in even yesterday. He came across the banquet hall just for the guards by the door to him away. He tried using his position and authority to get them to move, but none budged since it was for his own good. They had been through this many times before with the emperor knowing how he is. They simple patted his back and made him leave. Sunghoon gave in and turned in for the night. Come morning, his room was loud and filled with many people but he slept through all the noise which got everyone worried. Is he dead? One maid checked, holding a finger gently under his nose just to find that he was sleeping soundly. Since he had cleared all of todays work last night, everyone decided to leave him alone to sleep just a bit longer.

Soon after the concubines were released from the Emperor's appearance tailors were brought into the estate to it each woman for their hanboks. The team of tailors let each of them form a line for there would be some order in getting everyone's measurements. Once it became Kyungri's turn she walked up to the small stand that was provided for them to stand on. Stepping onto the stand she stretched out her arm letting the tailors take her measurements. Standing there was tiresome for Kyungri since she was unable to sleep for the last few nights. At times during the fittings she would begin to slouch and she was pinched lightly on the arm to wake her up again. As the day went on Kyungri laid down on her bed taking short naps during the day to keep herself from falling asleep. When it became night time she was finally able to sleep through the whole night.

Sunghoon had went off to the springs in the garden hidden quarters to relax a little as he went through days of work. There was a stack on each side of his shoulders as high as a boulder. A couple hours whisked past before he finished. He realized he was pruney as he dragged himself from the waters. a couple servants pat dried his exposed skin as he walked back to his room and shooed everyone out. Since it was late, most of everyone was asleep in the palace. Since he still felt wide awake he felt the need to go out for a walk around the palace and maybe take a peak into the gala hall since the preparations were being kept from him as a surprise. He's doesn't have much patience with surprises.

Shuddering at the sound of the opened doors caught her off guard leaving her to clear to cover up that she was startled and stood up straight again to listen as her emperor spoke. Upon being told where the concubines were supposed to be seated many of them nodded their head in agreement keeping quiet most of the time while the emperor was speaking. The emperor's speech soon came to a close and before he was able to leave all of the concubines including Kyungri bowed as their sign of respect as he left the room. Once the doors to their estate were closed everyone went back to talking about the gala while Kyungri stood there for a moment looking at the door. One of the concubines she knew well tugged on her arm until she was able to pull Kyungri away from where she was standing and back to want the two were doing earlier.

Just a moment after, the emperor himself entered through the double doors. He smiled at everyone before standing in the middle of the room so everyone can see and hear him clearly. "Thank you all for coming. As you all know, our Gala is right around the corner and you are all invited. My concubines will be seated at a table to my left since I will be at a table alone with my empress. If you have any questions, you can ask me. And don't be shy at the party either. I'd be more than happy to mingle with you all as a thank you for your support. For now that is all. I will be returning to my quarters for the day to catch up on some work so that I am free during the party. Please do not come to bother me until I clear it." He flashed yet another smile before exiting the room, most of the guard and servants following behind him.

@ℰ Bang SungHoon With all the preparations set in place by the Emperor, everyone's focus was set on the Gala. Everyday many of the other concubines would go on talking the Gala. Though it has only been a month since the preparations were started, The concubines could go on about the subject for hours. Many of their comments included "the palace had never looked more beautiful than this," "I bet the servants are going to pick out the best dresses for us," and "I hope the emperor will sit next to me at the table." The gala didn't mean much to Kyungri. It was her first time experiencing such an elaborate celebration. A maid quickly came in and called for all the concubines to line up before the emperor was to arrive. "Yes ma'am" Doing as told Kyungri stood up and lined up shoulder to shoulder with the other concubines in the room with her.

@Ⓒ Park Kyungri The palace had been busy for about month now with preperations for the Emperors Gala -THE social event of the season. Flowers were being picked and prepped, chefs were going over their menus for dining the event, carpets were being replaced and the walls repainted. Of course the invitations were sent months in advamced for everyone to save the date. Only those in the palace received personal invitations from the Emperor himself. As serving emperor, Sunghoon felt it was important to involve those who had to put up with him. A maid was sent to fetch all the servants and concubines from their quarters so those chosen to attend the event were recognized infront of their fellow co worker. "Every please line up shoulder to shoulder. The emperor will be entering the room soon. " The head maid announced the rules for the announcement and made sure everyone looked presentable.
