HAPPY 8 MONTHS ANNIVERSARY JJJB!!!!

/sighs as i take my steaming bowl from the serving counter and move around to sit by the window seat, sitting down quietly after dragging the stool back from the counter top
/hooks my long legs around the front of the stool, frowning down at the bowl as if its the reason for all my problems and more just pent up into an innocent bowl of food
/feels my jaw tense before i sigh and let my shoulders droop a little, pushing my noodles around with my chopsticks before i lift them up and push them into my mouth, filling some part of me even if it isn't a lot
/watches the people and cars pass by outside on this cold night, the sun having set a good few hours ago now, my phone on the counter next to the bowl but there's no messages or alerts beside from ones for work, tempting me to turn it off because then i might feel like no one is speaking to me because i don't have it on rather than a lack of people caring enough to talk
/wipes my mouth with a napkin when i'm done, resting my chin atop my palm as my other arm folds on the counter in front of me, sighing heavily again as i can't seem to shake the blue feelings today
/there's a buzzing from my phone and i look at it a bit too energetically perhaps, only to see its just an alarm to remind me to take my medication, swiping my finger over the screen in a dejected manner before i shove my hand in my pocket and take out a small bottle of pills, swallowing a couple
/my hand brushes over the cigarette box in my pocket too, debating taking it out but there's no motivation for even that, looking at the packet and tossing them to the side on the counter in front of me
/looks back to the window in distaste, my jaw tenses as i watch the world move on with its flashing lights and sleek design whilst i'm left here and feeling very much left out, my eyelids half closing as if they try to stop me from seeing more of it, feeling lonely
/barely notices when a worker takes my empty bowl, leaving me be in an otherwise silent noodle shop, the quiet but melancholy song plying over the speakers not helping me much
just another day, jongjin
/mumbles to myself with a bitter smile, envying all and any who i see outside, especially the ones who walk along with other people and aren't alone

/sits down and hums in thought; looks at the menu and taps my lips/
