@(Earth Pack) Key Taemin kept his gaze on the water, not wanting to take advantage of Kibum's situation. When the other asked him what was hard about being pretty he bit his lip. "It's... When you..." he began, struggling to find the right words. He stoppd himself before letting out a little sigh. "Never mind, forget I said anything," he mumbled. Telling someone about how his looks had made him a preteen slave to the old alpha was probably not the best way to get friends, not that Taemin had much experience in that area in the first place. "Are you done? We should get out of the water before we get sick, it's not exactly warm yet."
@(Earth Pack) Taemin Kibum brushed his fingertips through his hair, trying to determined whether he had refreshed himself enough or needed another wash by pouring with his hands. Even as the creature he was, he preferred to stay clean as he had nothing to win by covering his scent anyway. The wolf was such an easy target even as hidden. A short laugh followed after he froze in that posture, hand atop of his head and as much surprise as his clueless face could express. "Pretty?" He mused loudly before dipping his hand into the water again. "I can tell only by your personality what a pretty fellow you are, kiddo." Kibum quickly poured some more water onto his body before declaring himself done. "What's so hard with being pretty anyway?"
@(Earth Pack) Key Because he was still holding on to the older, Taemin couldn't really do much but look at the water while Kibum washed himself. It didn't really matter, since he had washed off before he was aware of the older's presence though. He couldn't help but laugh at the nickname, wondering if Kibum would still call him kiddo when he knew he was one of the assassins of the pack, and the one with the highest rate of successful kills too. He kept his eyes on the water to give Kibum a little privacy, even if the other couldn't see it. When the older spoke again, his tone harsh, Taemin flinched a little. "No, I am... very pretty," he mumbled, looking at the water. The last thing he needed was for Kibum to laugh at him, but he could understand it if he did. Being pretty was not something you were supposed to complain about.
@(Earth Pack) Taemin Cupping his hand in the cold river, Kibum used it to scoop some water over his hair to properly clean up. Bathing was rare for him, swimming even rarer. "Thank you, kiddo." Regardless of the other boy's voice, the elder of them both just assumed that Taemin had to be pretty young to call him hyung so confidently. His voice wasn't deep, but lower than a a puppy's. It did not matter whatsoever as the nickname 'kiddo' had been settled. It took the blind wolf to become satisfied with his task before he stopped moving his hand in the same pattern over and over again to soak himself with water and he finally opened his mouth to speak again. His arrogance shining through. "You do look a certain way? How? Got three eyes? A big nose? Maybe a woman's body?" His words were harsher than Kibum had intended, solely because of frustration. The frustration of not being able to see for himself what made the other so special to still his own curiosity. It was unfair to mock the younger in such way and Kibum knew it very well, yet he struggled to aim his frustration at the true culprit; himself. Kibum's voice became a little bit softer as he added. "Do not apologize. You got nothing to be sorry for."
@(Earth Pack) Key "Okay," Taemin agreed, though he still held on to Kibum with care. He had promised the older that he wouldn't let him drown, and he had no intentions of going back on the promise. "You did very well, hyung," he said with a smile, kneeling down beside the other to help him keep his balance even when crouching down. "Well..." he began, biting his lip a little. "I... look a certain way and it makes people make assumptions about me before they get to know me. Most of them don't bother to get to know me, all they see is my face and my body. And it's not... very nice, to be judged on something that you don't have any power over. I guess I kind of hoped you would understand that," he admitted with a little blush, because, really, he was being kind of selfish. "I'm sorry."
@(Earth Pack) Taemin Small grimaces appeared on Kibum's face when his feet balanced on the slippery rocks underneath the water, for once struggling to find the right path to take. The grip of his younger companion was palliative and he thought for a moment that this little 'adventure' was actually alright. "I... think we can stay here for a while," Kibum mused thoughtfully as he was bending his knees as if to see how much the water would cover if he crouched down to clean his hair in the pouring water. "It's not that I don't trust you, but baby steps you know." His hand squeezed Taemin's arm as he was close to get out of balance for a brief moment, but remained on his feet. A soft sigh of relief slipped out of him. His little frown was soon replaced with an expression of amusement and he turned his head to the direction of Taemin's voice. "Yeah, some people want to treat me differently, but I would never let them. Why?"
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin He let the words sink in, yet nothing. Seokjin wasn't in the right mind, the words caught in his throat, not a single sound uttered. He was dead silent. The alpha shut his mouth, thinking if it was a good idea to just spill and be honest for once. After countless times of lying about his past and trying to cover it up with something else, he's finally had enough of being fake to those around him. He needed someone to break it to, but he never expected to be in a state like this in front of someone who doesn't even belong in his pack. "I just can't..." he mumbles to himself, his voice was soft, barely audible. What the other didn't know was that Seokjin was completely breaking down in the inside.
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin Hyomin edged back from the water to keep her from being washed away, glancing over to the male. She remembered her own triggers, the day the war ended and the look on her own leader's face when he told her that her family was gone. Such a young child forced to grow up but she thought the fire raging inside of her whenever the thoughts returned. "He who is guilty believes that all men speak ill of him..." The assassin girl spoke quietly, careful in case her words struck a nerve. They were from different worlds after all. "But you are an Alpha, no one can. For whatever case, it might have been the best intention, but we all have ghosts that haunt us."
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin "I just... remembered something," Seokjin mumbled, staring into the water current. "It's not a pretty goody memory," he stated with a dejected tone. "I just feel so.... guilty," he says, a sigh escaping his lips. In his head, it's like the war was filmed and played over and over again and if it didn't stop, Seokjin swears it would drive him crazy at any moment. If there was one thing he couldn't fight, it was his mind, it always won over him and he couldn't do about anything. He just had to sit there and watch as his deepest darkest memories flew straight at his face, triggering his rather violent and reckless instinct. He was too deep in thought to realize that the river went from a calm flow to a vicious current, without realizing that the water followed his emotions, rage perhaps?
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin "I can't really say I know how you feel, that would be stupid..." Hyomin was struggling with words, but she was soon admitting herself. "But I am thankful for you letting me pass through your land before. I return the favour in whatever shape or form. Besides..." She was quiet, toying the line. "Sometimes our toughest enemy is ourselves. Every assassin is taught that." Setting the food offering out, she remained quiet until the Alpha spoke again, knowing it was foolish to talk to a rival but her words were true. An individual's own mind is often the archrival in any war.
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin Seokjin looked up, eyes glowing gold as he eyed the other wolf. He was quite surprised that the assassin was actually being hospitable to someone like him, at first he actually thought that he was going to be her next target. "What?," he asked, though his question was softly spoken, but it was audible enough for the other to hear. Seokjin was confused as to why a rival pack member would even ask him what's wrong or let alone even talk to him about anything. "Why do you care?."
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin She held herself back from advancing again, taking a seat by the river bank across from him. Today, she felt like being nice to her fellow wolf, putting aside differences to ensure they would be okay. Many would call her stupid, but her parents always encouraged that gentle nature. Taking a loaf of bread from the bag, she offered it to the Alpha. "If it helps, we all have our own demons. Even if we deny them..." Hyomin spoke quietly, crossing her legs on the pebbled ground. "Forgive me for being forward... but do you want to talk about them? I know I'm... considered a rival, but saying it out loud might help..."
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin "No, I'm not okay." he mumbled. He wasn't even going to deny the fact that there was something wrong with him, but it's not like anyone really cared. Seokjin isn't the type to open up, people don't know why, but they never do anything. Yeah, the sympathy in their questions don't exist. Well, at least that's what 'they' told him back then and it completely settled in his mind that no one would ever care about him.
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin Hearing the sound of the water, she glanced back, noticing the male forlorn. She couldn't control herself, letting the words slip. "I know it is not in my place to say... since we come from rival worlds. But are you alright...?" Part of her felt foolish to ask, but she felt like she had to. Anyone would ask such a sad soul if they were okay.
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin Seokjin had stopped snarling, expression going soft as the other steps back. He resumes to playing with the water, the clear liquid following the direction of his fingers. It may look like a pretty memory for anyone who sees him doing it, but he doesn't think the same way. Suddenly, his expression changes a full 180. He looks almost forlorn, sad and a little guilty. His hand stops and the water falls back with a splash. The Alpha then lets out a frustrated sigh as he buried his face inti his hands.
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin She stepped back, breaking from her flashback and nodded her head once, edging back to signal she was no harm. She remembered she didn't even thank him for fending off the wild wolves that ambushed them previously but what intrigued her more was the fact he was so.... calm. In the Fire pack, they always trained with no holds barred attacks and skills whereas the Alpha was collected, simply stepping back to allow the rouge to fall over the cliff.
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun smiled to the other and then nodded a bit, "Perhaps I will bring sweets next time and we could see each other again for it," he said. He smiled to the other and then looked over to the other. He smiled and stretched out his legs out to the side as he laid on his back, "So, what do you do when you're on your territory?"
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin Seokjin perked up, hearing soft footsteps and noticing another scent. He stops whatever he was doing, the water falling back into the stream as he placed his hand down. He spots a familiar face in the distance, though he could never utter her name. What he remembers though is she was the assassin who came through in his territory, getting into a small argument for thinking that he was the target. He's eyes were focused on her much like how a predator watches his prey. She was an assassin, potentially deadly. Plus, she was from the Fire pack and he knew pretty well that the two elements never went together. She came closer but Seokjin was wary, lips ticking up in a small snarl, not really sure what she wanted to do or say.
@(Oceanic Pack) Seokjin Hyomin traveled back through the river, carrying a bag full of crops on her back from travelling to the fields for more resources. She noticed the scent and the face at the same time, the Alpha who kindly let her pass through his land to ensure her mission was complete, and the same person she saved from an unexpected ambush. It was out of character from the Fire Pack to even care about a rival group, but she was always driven by honor and ensuring innocents were never hurt. She couldn't help but admire the way the water danced around his fingertips, the way her mother would with fire when she was a young age. It brought her to a near happier time as she admired the world around her.
@(Air Pack) Sehun V looked at you and nodded heavily at you. He placed it down not wanting anymore. "Yeah i did it was really good, but be better if there was sweets though or something." He smiled and laid on his stomach looking at you. "Yeah it is.. its better feeling it when you are a captured pack."
@(Fire Pack) Hyomin Seokjin sat near the river bank, covered by a few bushes. His mind was blank, as always whenever he tried to relax like this, but he liked it that way. His fingers moved swiftly, water bending to his will and swirling in front of him in small spheres. He sighed, staring off into the running water, his mind digging deeper into his thoughts.
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun blinked a few times when the other downed the whole glass and then chuckled softly, "I guess you like the tea?" he said. He nodded to the other before humming softly, "It's nice feeling free, so I can't blame you," he said.
@(Air Pack) Sehun V downed the whole thing now and placed it down. It was good and he enjoyed it. He looked at you and nodded at you. "It's fun enjoying it like that: and yeah I don't get to. It's fun freezing some things honestly."
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun smiled a bit more as the other finally sat down and took the tea. He nodded and then chuckled softly, "You really looked like you were having some fun there. Do you perhaps not get a chance to do that very often?" he asked curiously, pouring more tea for himself.
@(Air Pack) Sehun V looked over at you and smile at you and came closer to you. He looked at the small cup and took it sniffing it some. He started to drink it and sit across from you. He tilted his head at you enjoying the tea. "Well nice to meet ya. Im Taehyung.. But you can call me V if you wanna."
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun saw that the other finally relaxed and then couldn't help but simply smile a bit. He grabbed another small cup and poured some tea into it before offering it to the other, "My name is Sehun, and you?" he asked. He continued to sip on his own tea, relaxing as he did so.
@(Air Pack) Sehun V looked over at the air pack member and saw that you were just sipping tea and he you had not meant to harm him ot anything so that is what he would do. He lowered his gaurd and the atmosphere went back to the docile and gentle. He smiled at you and nodded. "If you mean that then i wont take a problem with it you know. So whats your name?" He started to glide over on the snow and wondering what you are drinking and could use som company.
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun noticed the other's sudden change in demeanour and then hovered over the grass, still sitting and sipping on his tea as he did so. "I mean no harm. I'm a herbalist from the Air Pack. I'm just taking a break from my wandering," he answered as he sipped on his tea some more. "Don't mind me, no one's stopping you from having fun," he said, a small smile upon his face before he lowered himself back onto the ground.
@(Air Pack) Sehun V didnt care and just wanted to have some fun with no one to judge him and just let loose. There was a ton of things he didnt get to do and this was always a fun way to discover new things with his powers. He was thorwing snowballs and playing with his little snow friend. There was sliding and just covering himself in it. He heard a voice and the merriment stopped and he got dangerous. Some of the ice turned to spikes and the snow leopard hugged him and growled. "Who are you."
@(Ice Pack) V Sehun simply watched as the other messed about with his powers before shaking his head in amusement. He went about doing his own business, picking some herbs here and there and decided not to disturb the other who seemed to be enjoying himself. Seemed like the other had been missing out on his fun time for a while. After a while, Sehun sat down and began to simply drink some of his tea that he had brought along with him, "I wonder if you're gonna notice me sitting here," he said almost inaudibly to himself.
IU will be taking her leave. Hopefully this place will become active again, and I can come back :) thank you so so much for my time here! It was fun!!!
