Abandoned City

@(Metal Pack) Jeonghan Yunho was ordered by his pack alpha to come to the metal pack to relay a message onto the alpha. The assassin didn't understand why he needed to go, but he didn't dare to say anything. It was a job and as long as he got money to make a living out of it, he would literally do anything. Staying in his human form to show he meant no harm, the wolf was dressed in a black long sleeve fishnet shirt that was draped over a black tank top and ripped black jeans. His hands were shoved inside of his front pants pockets as he headed through the abandoned city to get to the metal pack den. Yunho yawned while he walked, blinking a few times to see a few more wolves in front of him. Sniffing the air, he could tell they were part of the metal pack, they stank like them. The assassin would have continued to walk on by if they weren't standing directly in the middle of the road. Yunho stood there, watching the wolves surround another wolf of their own kin. The red head didn't really understand, but he said nothing as he watched and patiently waited until they took note of his presence.

Junsu was walking towards the abandoned city. He didn't know why he was going there but he felt that he needed to go there to have some quite moment since he was too busy with his work.

He arrived at the abandoned city where the war happened before. A war that killed a lot of people and became the reason for what happened between his pack and other pack. He strolled into the city and he saw a figure from a far. He could smell that person is not from his pack. He walked and hide from a far. He knew that person.

When he heard her voice, Junsu remained silent. His eyes glow too as focused on that person. He walked out from his hiding, looking at that person with his glowing eyes. "You know me, Hani." he said as slowly that person could see him clearly, standing only few feet from her with stoic face.

@(Fire Pack) Junsu Hani was strolling around in the abandon city. It's as quiet as the grave that she only heard her own footsteps stepping on the dried leaves on the ground. It's not a really nice place but it's good when you need to do some thinking.

There's a lot of thing on her mind lately. Things that she don't even know what but it's making her really uncomfortable. She settled down on a pile of wooden boxes stacked up and pulls down her hood. The moon was shining really bright and beautiful, making the whole place a little brighter than usual. She smiles and looks to her hands. She examine them and thought about all the fights she had been through. There were several injuries that happened but there were no scars at all but instead her hands were smooth and soft. Obviously, she thought to herself, you're a wolf. She shakes her head at her own stupidness.

Her head shot up when she heard footsteps but there wasn't anyone and the footsteps stopped. "Who the hell are you? Show yourself.", her eyes glow while she releases her claw as she looks around to search for the source of the footsteps. "Don't try to hide. It won't do you any good."

@(Metal Pack) Kai [Sure sure! :)]

@(Metal Pack) Seunghwan (hmm... I would like it for Seunghwan to be appointed but prove himself as Kai's protector and maybe Kai never refers to you as his protector just as a regular pack member?)

@(Metal Pack) Kai [Kai could connect the dots now and realize the relationship of the protector and Seunghwan and ask if he knew of their deaths and coax the truth out of him; or Kai would overlook it and assure Seunghwan that he would not need to take on such a huge responsibility and tell him not to make a big deal out of it. Either way, Kai would maybe be upset once he learns the truth. It would just be a matter of when. And whether if we want to prolong the suspense. The former scenario might be too abrupt than the latter though, as it closes the opportunity of being Kai's protector. I think. XD I'm not even sure hahahaha]

@(Metal Pack) Kai "It is my duty to be a protector of the Alpha." Seunghwan said at once. There was no doubt about it. It was in his blood to be a protector. It was in his genes to put the Alpha's life before his. He was born to protect. "My great-grandfather was a protector, so was my uncle. They had been protectors of the alphas before you. It would be an honour to continue their legacy and protect you."

Seunghwan may not be great at attacks but he is agile and calm. His defense and offense can withstand any attacks from any direction. Ever since the war, he had been training twice as much. Seunghwan had seen too much death to stay idle. It made it hard for him to sleep at night. It made him want to exhaust himself more. It made him want to forget. Because of that, he made sure he wouldn't let anything get pass him. Seunghwan wouldn't make the same mistakes again. He would not let his uncle's name and death be in vain.

Just as Kai lost a father, Seunghwan lost an uncle. The uncle who made it his duty to be a father figure to Seunghwan. The uncle who taught him the ways of their pack. The same uncle who died protecting the Metal Pack's previous alpha, Kai's father, during the war. It was a painful memory--to see the man who raised him well be burned to death. The sickening smell alone made it repulsive. His last words were to Seunghwan: protect the alpha. And he failed his uncle.

"I will protect you, Kai. I will not let our families' death go to waste."

[And the twists come and go as they please. LOL But it would be even more dramatic if the reveal would turn up sometime later. When Seunghwan has proven himself. Haha.
Hope you don't mind the connecting plot, the part where his uncle was Kai's dad's protector and that Seunghwan was actually partly a witness in the dad's death. And I was thinking maybe Kai didn't know Seunghwan and the Protector were related but it's up to you hahaha sorry if it's getting too complicated rn XD]

Kai was anxious and excited to meet up with his new protector. Since both of his father's protectors were killed, he had to pick at least one maybe two more. He already chose his Beta, which was Kris, and he trusted him immensely. He wanted to make sure that this was the right pick. He had known Seunghwan for a while, he was with his father for a long time, even when he died. He wanted to know what happened when his father died, he heard it but didn't really see it.

Kai started to approach him cautiously as to not scare him, "It is sad isn't it, war.. It destroys families but it can also build great empires and packs." Kai sighed as he sat down and thought to himself. "So Seung... who do you think should be my next protector? I have to pick one and I haven't decided yet." He smirked because he knew who it would be. It would be the wolf that was with him right now.

"I need someone who is trustworthy, and who is a master of this element. I need someone who can think on the flash, and not be afraid to take risks." Kai held his arm as the burn marks from their Beta, were prominent. Kai lost many pack members in the last war, he wasn't prepared to lose anymore.

Seunghwan would do anything for his present Alpha. Anything meant everything his Alpha would ask for. No task was too big or too small. If that's what his alpha wanted, that's what he would do. He would walk to the ends of the earth unconditionally. Seunghwan would stay loyal to his alpha and stay by his side no matter what. Even if it cost a limb or his life.

And even if his alpha wanted to scout their old fallen territory then he would not question it. Seunghwan had an uneasy feeling when his alpha did such things--going back to the past, reliving old memories, digging up the glory days of their once revered pack. Today was no exception. They were trudging in deep dangerous waters. He may have vowed his loyalty to his alpha to himself but their safety, his alpha's and his own, were far more important than their old home.

Their old home. It had a bitter taste to it. It felt like he could savor the rusty taste of his blood the way he did when the Fire pack attacked. He shoved those memory aside and decided to speak up.

"Why are we here, alpha?" He stood a few feet behind him. The building Seunghwan once lived in was in view just northwest of them. He decided not to pay it much attention. Instead, he scanned the place surrounding it. The buildings were overgrown with moss and grass. Signs dangled on rusting chains, some singed to a crisp. Windows of the first few floors shattered everywhere, spreading glass on the pavement. Shards were scorched from having been burnt. For a few yards, metal support bars were bent obviously from the intense heat from a fire that lead their territory to fall. Collapsed walls and doors laid everywhere. It was a wreck in their old home. And it was clear from the burn marks and ashes that it was a wreck because of the Fire pack. It was disheartening to see the place in ruins. And Seugnhwan didn't have it inside him if they were to go inside any of the buildings. If the outside was bad, he could bet the insides were worse. Hundreds of lives were trapped in these buildings during the fire, he wouldn't want to encounter what was left of them after it.



[Sorry it's too rambly, hope it's not as bad as I think. OTL and question, is everyone in human form or wolf form? I didn't focus much on the characters or the specifics because I'm not sure LOL and since it's a city I just assumed there were buildings and and Seunghwan lived in a condo HAHAHA]
