@Rayne Nari jumped when she felt a pair of hands catch her as she stumbled, blinking repeatedly up at the figure so her vision would focus. She widened her eyes and her lips formed an 'o', surprised. "Oh? It's youuu! Really kind doctor Rayne~" she slurred, giggling as she squirmed out of his grasp so she could turn and stand in front of him. She then pouted, tilting her head a little, causing her to fall off balance again and sway to the side, catching herself. "I... Wanted to explore." she stated on a small daze. She looked around the area with her index finger scanning the area. "Why are YOU out so late? No one'ss hhere." she hummed.
@Nari Rayne had just finished with his run about the castle and had just showered. He wanted to do make one more round about trip to make sure that the students were all settled and no one needed him. He hummed softly as he walked about and made his way around when he saw a familiar figure stumbling about. "That's... strange," he mumbled to himself and followed the girl. He was pretty sure it was Nari, but he had to make sure. He moved closer, and as he did, he smelt.. alcohol? He jogged up to the girl and then caught her, "Nari, what are you doing out here so late?" he asked, trying not to cringe from the smell of liquor.
@Rayne It wasn't the best day for Nari. She went about her day as usual, mostly training, walking around the castle, saying hi to the people she knew, etc, and kept a smile on her face as usual. During the day was perfectly fine, she was happier than ever. It wasn't until night came that something started to bother her. Very unlike her, she wandered outside the castle and to a place she was unfamiliar with: the bar. It wasn't long until she came out from the bar, not the same Nari that walked in earlier. She somehow got herself back to the castle, stumbling and swaying as she walked, her cheeks flushed and words slurred as she mumbled to herself. She groaned a little as she hit one of the walls, a frown on her face as she whined. "Plllease watch out." she pouted, but then a hiccup and a giggle escaped her lips. "Juuust kidding~" she stumbled away from the wall and started walking back the way she was headed, which she know where that was.
Jasper walked around the courtyard and looked up at the sky in dismay. He then looked ahead of him and saw students flocking around the courtyard. He ended walking to a bench - which was in a quiet spot and kept to himself. He took out his book and read the content inside.
@Keid "Sure you are.", Galen snorted sarcastically. "Then what's all this?", he smirked, poking Keid's arms. "I'll remember that. I can come and disturb you then especially if you're in my favorite spot.", the Senitel grinned mischievously.
@Keid "Peaceful and delicate, my foot.", Galen snorted with a roll of his eyes. He chuckled in amusement, glad that Keid was so excited about the library - he knew how much the younger loved to read. "Yup. You learn a lot more about the other clans instead of just ours.", he agreed. "And I guess you'll be spending most of your time there?", the Senitel smiled.
@Keid Galen widened his eyes and clapped his hand over Keid's mouth with a laugh. "You little sneak! So that's your game!", he raised an eyebrow and smirked knowingly before removing his hand. "You'll like the library here then. You can read for as long as you like until there are classes or it's time to sleep.", the Senitel nodded.
@Keid Galen knew how tough it was to suddenly enter another environment with no one familiar to you, so he was more than glad he could help Keid settle in.
"If you get in trouble, I'll be responsible.", Galen rolled his eyes. "Don't worry - I won't be on your trail all the time.", he chuckled.
@Keid "Yeah, you do.", Galen smiled as he ruffled Keid's hair playfully. He had always looked out for the younger Haeyari heir like the brother he never had - he had two younger sisters, but his parents had always paid more attention to them as their clan was a matriarchal one, so the girls mattered more as they would take over the household when the time was right.
"Senile Lieutenant.", Galen corrected with a chuckle. "But I still have to answer to my Captain.", he reminded the other. He knew how hard it was for Keid to come off as approachable - he empathised with the younger in that sense as he too sometimes came off as cold and unapproachable. "We'll see about that. No promises that I may follow you to keep an eye on you.", the Senitel laughed.
@Keid "Thanks, Keid.", Galen smiled as he hugged the younger's shoulder - coming from families with controlling fathers was one of the common bonds they shared and understood.
"Well, so far, everyone's been nice. It's much different from the clan and hopefully, it stays that way in a positive manner. "Alright then, just this once I'll let it slide.", he chuckled and linked fingers with the other.
@Keid "I wouldn't have let them if I even had a single say on the matter at all...", Galen grumbled as he shoved his free hand into his pant pocket, clenching the material tightly. "Being the eldest and only son is...not easy.", he sighed deeply. "Even though I have sisters, I'm the primary holder of the family name after my father."
"Well, it'll take a while to get used to, but I'm sure you'll be fine.", he chuckled, ruffling Keid's hair affectionately, before raising an eyebrow playfully at the younger's jest. "Don't get cocky now. I may let you slide on a lot of issues, but just not certain subjects like staying up late.", he teased back.
@Keid "Why would they hide it indeed...", Galen muttered darkly with a frown; it was unfortunately very much like his father to make up a story to Keid about why he wasn't around - then again, his father never really approved of his close relationship with the younger Haeyari heir.
"Well, at least we're together again - just like old times.", Galen chuckled as he reminisced the times they had before he was taken away. "If things go south, I'll be here to help you once more.", he reassured the other.
@Keid "Climbed down? What...", Galen was stunned; he left to work for the Academy because his father had contacted them without his knowledge and they came to take him away without letting him say goodbye to Keid. "I didn't climb down, Keid. I was suddenly taken to work for the Academy...", he trailed off, his eyes widening in realization. "...Father. Of course he would do something like this to make me take over his position.", he frowned deeply before turning to Keid again.
"...Uh-huh.", Galen raised a suspicious eyebrow when Keid hesitated in his words halfway. "You ran away!? ...That's...not really a surprise, but...wow.", the older blinked slowly in surprise. "It's not my place to say anything, Keid, but I definitely won't tell anyone. I'm just glad you're here anyway; it's been awfully lonely being the only Haeyari here.", he smiled, wrapping an arm around the younger's shoulder.
@Keid Galen hugged Keid back just as tightly when the younger hugged him; he had not seen his friend and little brother in a long time, so it was good to finally see a familiar face. Keid was like family to him and he really missed the younger.
"It's so good to see you, Keid! ...But what are you doing here?", Galen suddenly realised as he pulled back a little to look at the younger. "What happened with the clan while I was gone? Did anything happen to you? Does your father know you're here?", he asked so many questions, wanting to know what had happened to Keid while he was gone.
@Keid Galen wandered around the courtyard quietly, his mind wandering back to the clan he had to leave behind to serve the Academy. How was his family doing? And his friend Keid...even though their social statuses were vastly different, he cared for the younger Haeyari heir like a little brother. How was he doing now that he wasn't around to help him? Was he alright?
As Galen turned a corner, he almost ran into someone and apologised quietly, but stopped short when he noticed the newcomer's face. No way... It couldn't be... "...Keid?", Galen called uncertainly with wide eyes.
