@Nari (yeah~ I guessed that Rayne would get involved~ XD Hmm..... I dunno~ shall we take this back to walls to plot some more? Otherwise I can just wait a bit until you need Rayne in your plot with Cal ^^)
@Rayne Nari smiled at the male's caring words, rubbing her arm as they stood in front of the door to the female dorm. "I'll try." she replied jokingly, but still reassuringly. "Have a good night's rest as well and try not to fall asleep in random places. It can be dangerous." she told him, opening the door and stepping inside a little, turning her head back around and waving at him. "Thank you for walking me here. Goodnight, Rayne."
(Oh well thank you~ xD I believe Rayne is going to be involved at some point, since Cal's being taken to the infirmary. But umm... I'm not sure what could happen next for this plot. Maybe Nari could somehow stumble upon Rayne in his not-so-cheery mood? I read his updated profile with the plots and I like them~ But of course, it doesn't have to be exactly like the one on his profile, but something like it? I'm not really sure :c )
@Nari Rayne nodded in agreement, "It really does come in handy," he grinned and continued to walk along. He chuckled at the memory now and smiled as he explained, "They wanted to test our tracking abilities this one time and since none of us wanted to play the target, he had to. So, we had to track him down," he chuckled. He saw the dorms up ahead of them and smiled, "Why thank you for the kind offer, Nari," he grinned. He stopped once they were at the female dorms and nodded to her, "Well, you have a good night's rest, alright? And try to be careful, especially when you're alone. You wouldn't want to hurt yourself too much," he smiled.
(So yeah~ what should happen after this~? ^^ Also, I'm totally not stalking or anything, but loving Nari and Calcifer's plot XD)
@Rayne Nari was surprised to hear that some people had difficulties with it, making her feel a little bit better about herself. "I hope those people learn to master it. It comes in handy sometimes." she responded, pressing her lips together as she looked down at her feet as they walked. She looked back up at the taller male, moving her hands so they were intertwined together behind her back. "A teacher? Why did you have to track them down?" she asked, her eyes big with curiosity. What could a teacher possibly do, she pondered to herself. She hummed and nodded to him when he explained his nighttime routine, almost approaching the dorms. "It's not weird at all. If you ever need a someone to run with, or even if you need help staying awake, just ask and I'll be there." she told him cheerfully, grinning up at him.
@Nari "Yeah, some people have difficulty with it, despite it being one of the most natural forms we master," he commented and then chuckled softly, shrugging a bit as the other asked, "It was just another person in their animal form," he explained. "Actually, I think it was a teacher at that time," he corrected. He nodded as he listened to the other and hummed, "I see. I tend to go for a run around the castle grounds, take a shower and meditate a bit before I sleep," he explained. "It might seem weird, but I need that run most of the time so I can use up my energy to be able to relax enough to get to sleep," he explained.
@Rayne Nari agreed, knowing he was right. She was petty lucky even to transform because sometimes there were people who couldn't even do that. Nari looked up at him with a surprised expression. "Really? You must be really good at it then. What did you have to track down?" she asked, curious. Nari thought for a moment, thinking if she did do anything. "Just the usual stuff I suppose... Brush my teeth, wash my face, sometimes shower, and if not at night then I will in the morning. I say goodnight to my mom, then call my dad and older brother before heading off to bed." she listed, smiling up at him. "What about you? Do you do anything routinely before sleeping?" She inquired.
@Nari "You should be proud of it. People can be unlucky sometimes since there are some out there who have difficulty in everything for a while," he explained and smiled to the younger. He chuckled softly at the question and smiled, "Yeah, I have pretty great senses and I once went one on one with a Haeyari friend of mine way back when and even beat them with tracking something down," he explained and sighed as he reminisced about his schooling days. "Do you do anything routinely before sleeping?"
@Rayne Nari nodded, proud that she was able to turn into at least something to make up for her lack of physical skill. "I'm proud of it, but it doesn't compare to how good your abilities are." she replied humbly, smiling up at him. "That's a really good idea." she chuckled, knowing it must be useful to have a room built into the infirmary since he spent a lot of his time there. She looked up at him, raising an eyebrow. "Would you now?" she laughed, nodding afterwards to agree with him. She wasn't surprised since he was pretty smart, and was also staff so she could see how it would be easy.
@Nari Rayne smiled to the younger and smiled, nodding to himself, "Pretty impressive," he smiled. He wasn't too surprised though since the other seemed to be quite strong despite her lack of emblems, so it would make sense that she was able to transform easily. "It's not a problem," he smiled and chuckled softly, "Yeah, I had it built in since I kept falling asleep in the infirmary anyway," he smiled. He shook his head in amusement and smiled, "Even if that did happen, I'll be able to track them down," he grinned.
@Rayne Nari nodded eagerly in confirmation, definitely excited to see him shift into a dolphin. "I can turn into a white hawk." she answered. It was difficult for her to master anything to do with physical training, but she was fortunately able to transform into a hawk without any problems. She smiled warmly when the doctor kept in mind her safety, even with the school being safe. "I've been fine so far, but I still thank you." she replied. Nari listened to his answer, nodding slowly. "Well that's good then, that you have a little room." she commented. She chuckled and looked up at taller male. "You seem to fall asleep in random places a lot. Be careful that no silly students try to pull a little prank on you." she warned, chuckling softly.
@Nari The doctor smiled to the other and chuckled softly, "I can tell that you'd love to see it," he smiled. "How far can you transform? Is it just some parts of you or fully? And what animal?" he asked curiously, since the other knew what he could turn into. Once they were walking along again, he smiled and shook his head, "It's fine, honestly, even though this is a pretty safe school, and you're a tough little cookie, that doesn't mean that there are some silly students here and there," he sighed, "Me? Well, I sometimes stay in the infirmary, I have a little room where I sleep sometimes when I'm not bothered, it depends on the day, sometimes here sometimes I end up falling asleep somewhere by accident," he smiled sheepishly.
@Rayne Nari enjoyed talking to the doctor, finding him easy to talk to and connect with. She smiled widely, surprised once again that he could do yet another thing. "I would love to see that." she chimed, watching as he changed back to his human form. She took his hand and stood up with his help, nodding to the other as he offered to take her back to the dorm. "That sounds good, thank you." she replied, removing her hand from his before continuing to walk the same way they were headed. "Do you stay at a dorm as well, or do you live separately, since you're part of the staff?" she inquired, not too familiar with how the staff system worked.
@Nari As they talked to one another, Rayne couldn't help but notice that the younger girl seemed to have a lot to say but no one to really say it to, so he was glad that he could be there to talk to her. He chuckled softly as the other touched his shell and hummed, "Yeah, next time, I'll show you my dolphin form when we're near some kind of water," he said and then hummed, letting her touch his shell some more before moving back and shifting back to his human form, standing up and holding out a hand to the other who was crouching down still, "Come on, let's walk around a bit more and I'll take you over to your dorms," he smiled.
@Rayne Nari nodded slowly, smiling up at him. "You seem very confident, Rayne," she commented. "Rejection hurts some people though, especially those who have liked the person for a long time, or just have a fragile heart." she exclaimed, pressing her palm again her chest where the heart was, tapping softly. Nari removed her hand and let her arm dangle back on her side. "If you really like someone, and don't have anyone else that really captures your attention, or doesn't make your heart flutter in that same way, then sometimes it won't go away unless something gets in between that." she explained, sighing softly. "I've had one crush before, so I kind of understand what it's like to be too scared to say anything." she admitted, looking down bashfully. She listened to the other's explanation and nodded understandingly, finding that information interesting. Her eyes widened for a second, excited about being able to touch him. She hesitantly reached out and gently pressed the tips of her fingers against his rough shell, stroking it in a few spots before retracting her hand. "Your shell feels really rough, but smooth at the same time. This is amazing." she voiced, grinning down at him.
@Nari The doctor hummed softly and nodded to the other, "Yeah, it could be hard to tell someone. But if I were to like someone, I would tell them. I wouldn't mind if they accept or not," he smiled and then chuckled softly at the idea of having a secret admirer. "Well, I would honestly wonder who that is, they're pretty persistent to have kept liking me for so long." He looked up at the other and chuckled softly as the other jumped up and down. "Yeah, I can. I know how to project my voice into the water molecules in the air around a person so they can hear me, like you can hear me now. No one else could hear me though," he explained. "You can touch my shell and whatnot if you want, Nari."
@Rayne Nari nodded in confirmation. not hesitating at all. "Of course you are." she said cheerfully. Nari lifted her head up when he explained to her why he was often alone, never really having time for a relationship as it seemed. "That makes sense." she replied, puffing out her cheeks momentarily before flattening them. Nari chuckled, taking a small breath and letting it out slowly. "Not everyone is confident enough to tell someone they like them. You may have had a secret admirer for a long time and never realized it." she explained as though she was an expert at the topic, even though it was the complete opposite. She listened to the male's advice, watching as he became a turtle in a blink of the eye. Her eyes widened and she gasped, putting her hand over . "Wah... You really can turn into a turtle! I mean-- I knew you could, but... woah." she cooed, jumping slightly from the excitement, her toes never leaving the ground, however. She knelt down in front of the doctor that was now a reptile, smiling from ear to ear. "Can you talk too?" she asked, tilting her head from side to side like a child who was seeing something extraordinary for the first time.
@Nari Rayne chuckled softly and waved the 'saved' comment dismissively before blinking in surprise, "I'm fun to talk to, am I?" he asked and then chuckled softly. He glanced over and saw how the other was blushing like that and shrugged at the very soft murmur of a comment, "Well, believe it. I've always been a little nerdy in a way, when I was in school, I was almost always working on improving myself and then afterwards, I worked on helping others as a doctor. Yet, I'm not a workaholic," he chuckled. "Many? Well, if they had crushes on me, they never told me," he laughed softly and shook his head in amusement. "Yeah, I can. Just saying though, I'm as heavy as any turtle would be," he warned before smiling. Within a moment he was gone - well his human form - and in his place was a turtle.
@Rayne Nari nodded understandingly, humming a little under her breath. "You basically saved me," she chuckled softly. "I'm glad though, because you're fun to talk to." she complimented, glancing up at him before back in front of her. His next sentence caused her cheeks tint a rosy pink, smiling shyly as she kept her view in front of her. It surprised her, however, since he definitely seemed like someone who would have been in many relationships. "That's hard to believe," she murmured, still intentional for him to hear. She looked up at him and tilted her head a little, finding it cute how he got shy all of a sudden. "I bet you've had many people with crushes on you." she teased, putting emphasis on 'many'. She continued to walk a few steps ahead of him after he stopped, noticing soon after and stopping. She turned her body around to face him with excited eyes, her lips parting a little. "Really?" she asked, blinking eagerly.
@Nari The doctor smiled to the other and then blinked a few times at the question. He hummed in thought and nodded, "Most of the time I spend my spare time alone since I am around people for most of the daytime. But if I bump into someone, like I did with you, then I get to know them and hang out with them," he explained with a smile, "But if you mean alone as in romantically, I've never been in a romantic relationship with anyone, ever," he chuckled softly and rubbed the back of his nape sheepishly. "My turtle form?" he said and then stopped walking before looking around, "I can show it to you now just quickly."
@Rayne Nari listened to the activities he vocalized, nodding as he went along the list. It was nice to know the male was finding the time to relax instead of overworking himself too much. "That all sounds like fun. Are you alone often? Outside of your job, of course." she asked, looking up at him with questionable eyes. She couldn't imagine someone so fun to talk to like him being alone all the time. Not that there was anything wrong with being alone, she just hoped he wasn't lonely. She grinned up at him when he told her turning into a turtle was fun. "I want to see you in your turtle form." she said softly, pressing her lips together with a warm smile.
@Nari The doctor found it rather adorable that the girl was already becoming concerned about his health even only after talking for perhaps half an hour at the most. He appreciated that though, it was nice when that happened. "Activities? Well, I like to meditate in my Embrace of the Seas, go for night runs around the castle, relax by the river," he answered and smiled to the younger girl, "Just very relaxing things really," he smiled. He continued to walk along with the younger and chuckled softly at how big her eyes went, "Yes, it does come in handy. And it's actually quite fun too," he smiled.
@Rayne Nari smiled up at the taller male, glad to know that she had something in common with him. She was reassured to know that he didn't constantly work, not wanting him to overwork himself. "That's good then. What types of activities do you like to do?" she asked, looking forward again as they continued walking, turning once they approached one of the corners of the building. She looked up at the other with big eyes when he mentioned his turtle form. "Really? That form must come in handy then." she chimed.
@Nari Rayne smiled to the other and then nodded, "I can take on a lot more than what many people think as well," he chuckled, able to relate to the younger on something. He shrugged a bit and smiled, "Well, I like to keep myself busy and when I'm tired, I do leisure activities so it isn't all too bad," he smiled. He chuckled at the girl's mumbling and shook his head, "I change into one of my animal forms when I'm in the water for more than half an hour or so, so I woke up in my turtle form at the bottom of the river that time," he chuckled softly and smiled.
@Rayne Nari couldn't help but to smile at the man's slight nagging, looking up at him with a confident expression on her face. "I may have a small body, but I could definitely handle much more than you may think." she responded, smiling up at him cheekily. Nari frowned once he explained what his usual day is like, especially at the part when he mentioned falling asleep in the river. "Your life seems pretty hectic. How do you fall asleep in the river, though? You could have drowned." she said, mumbling the last part quietly.
@Nari Nodding along, Rayne agreed with the younger that the sessions were meant to be difficult to challenge the students and see if they could push their limits, "Yeah, but if you absolutely cannot do something, don't do it since it will only cause your body more harm than good," he explained and then chuckled softly. "Busy, I suppose you could say that. I'm either treating students and staff, researching for my own personal interests, meditating or working out, and a lot of the time I end up falling asleep at my desk or in the library. I once almost fell asleep in the river actually," he chuckled softly.
@Rayne Nari thought about his question, taking a few seconds to think. She nodded slowly, still in the process of remembering her training sessions. "They are pretty hard. A lot of the trainers are a lot bigger than me too, and a lot stronger. Although, that's the point, right? I wouldn't get better if I wasn't challenged." she exclaimed optimistically. She took in his answer, a little confused on how he could easily lose count of how many years he's been working here. "You don't keep track? You must be really busy then." she remarked, once again admiring his work ethic.
@Nari Rayne laughed at how she continued the joke and shook his head in amusement, watching her as she feigned to suspect him of being inhuman. He smiled and continued to walk along inside the castle with the other, "That's good then, are the training sessions hard on you though? Considering they can be a bit draining with the group ones," he asked and then furrowed his brows, "I think for the past five years.... maybe more..?" he smiled sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head and shrugging, "I haven't really been keeping track to be honest," he admitted.
@Rayne Nari gasped at his joke, covering with her hand. "I knew there was something else about you. No one could look that young and be older than 25." she joked, keeping her eyes on him suspiciously. She laughed sheepishly, knowing that his remark would inevitably be correct if they were to stay out there any longer. She followed him as he lead the way, walking alongside him. She put her hands inside her jacket pockets, puffing out her cheeks slightly as they walked in silence for a few minutes. She glanced up at him when he spoke, humming as she thought about his question. "I like it a lot, actually. I feel like I can really work hard here without too much pressure." she explained. She thought for a moment before looking up at him once again. "How long have you worked here?" she inquired.
@Nari "Good, I like it when I successfully help others," he smiled and then chuckled softly at the shocked and confused expression on the girl's face. "Mhmm, 10 years then," he chuckled as she continued to gawk at him both in shock and confusion. It was honestly very amusing, "Yes, I'm sure I'm human, but you can believe what you like. I could be a immortal whale in disguise," he scoffed jokingly and then looked around, "Let's go then, before it gets too dark and you fall over something," he chuckled. He began leading the way back to the castle, walking across the grass and paths leading there. He headed inside and hummed softly, "So, how has your time been here so far? Good? Bad?" he asked curiously.
