Azrael Prep

A hidden academy formerly dedicated to accepting werewolves as they hit the age of 'breeding'. A place once focused on assigning A/B/O stats and teaching how to embed into society. But with the new threat, it's been rebuilt to focus on the power wolves hold over nature. Breeding and restoring the species is now as crucial as protecting it.

Hunters

Not much is known about these guys except for the fact that they serve to "protect" the magical realm by keeping it hidden. This means, also, to rid it of anything that threatens to out the existence of the supernatural to humankind. They don't exist in earth's realm but can cross over by one of two ways: voluntarily "binding" to a wolf or by wearing its pelt.

Affinities

The forces of nature able to be controlled by wolves. Determined by genes, this affects how the wolf looks (its coat, eyes, etc.). What each wolf can do with its affinity is different. Some can transform into it. Some can embed it into their claws or fur. Others can spark it from their mouths at will.

Alphas

Not necessarily the "tops" in bed, but definitely the ones to give . They go through 'ruts' in which they crave breeding and are able to knot an omega or beta. Alphas can get pregnant only by very special items that can be purchased at the shoppe. Alphas take on more of their paternal genes and have a strong connection to both their own affinity and their father's affinity.

Betas

The middle ground of the dynamics and most malleable breed. They are able to hold their own affinity, while also having a powerful connection to the affinities of each their mother and father. Betas undergo an 'itch' during breeding season. Like alphas, they experience a knot. But like omegas, they can also self-lubricate. Betas can only be impregnated by alphas, unless they visit the shoppe.

Omegas

Not necessarily the "bottoms", these wolves are the natural breeders. They take on their own affinity but also have a strong connection to their mother's affinity if it's different. They have 'heats' which allow them to self-lubricate. Omegas can be impregnated by either betas or alphas. They can be the ones to impregnate if they pay the shoppe a visit.

Bonding

A special thing that happens to wolves who are close. Usually, this exists with packmates but it can happen with close friends as well. Bonded wolves all have a special connection, which allows them to feel what the other feels. They can telepathically communicate even without being anywhere near one another. A bond is as easy to form as it is to break, but it is a painful process that involves the wolf's will to block out others.

Marking

In which wolves claim one another as mates. This can only be done if both parties agree! Each wolf bites a mark into one another on any part of their body. After the bruising heals, a mark forms and their scents mix as one to signal to others that they're "taken". A beautiful ceremony that is also quite dangerous in that if anything happens to one of the wolves, their mate is physically and emotionally affected.

Binding

Not to be confused with bonding! A terrible process in which a Hunter forces a connection with a wolf to avoid the alternative (killing them). The Hunter will now be able to walk the earth freely in an earthly body, while the wolf is linked to him. Most packs see this as treachery, so it's not uncommon to be shunned afterwards.
