@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁸ tashi r. Nodding and smiling at the customer, Minho took a step back before turning on his heel and sighing silently for nobody but him to hear. It has been one of those days when most of the guests visiting the restaurant he's been working at seemed to be at least a tad irritated with life, the tones of their voices harsh and domineering, leaving the male with a great desire to smack the ordered plates into their faces instead of simply putting them onto the tables. At times he found himself regretting that he couldn't do as he pleased; the restaurant having too good of an opinion to be ruined by his child-like act and he himself a bit too prideful to be forced to write an official letter of apology to the owner.
Sighing again, he made his way to the kitchen, smiling at a few customers and co-workers who too were busy with making their tango-like way through the restaurant; he and a few other waiters commonly joked about how great their job actually was - it all began with one of them comparing their work to dancing. It was common for the restaurant to be filled to the brim with customers, who were flying in and out like bees did in their beehives, causing each and every steward to be extra cautious, reverse through the crowd with plates that were burning their fingertips, not once nor twice being forced to do pirouette or other kinds of jinks to dodge any potential collisions. He could also recall one of the waiters suggesting to pee into soups of particularily unnerving customers just like Tyler Duden did in "Fight Club" - 'Come on, they wouldn't even taste the difference!'. A light chuckle left his lips as the memories of his friend's words came back to him and he had to shake his head to get rid of all the words that fell further through the conversation.
Almost at his set destination, Minho moved his glance slightly upwards to check the time on the large and quite minimalistic clock that most of the customers didn't even know was there. He had still two hours to go for his shift to end, yet he was also almost one and a half hour behind his usual break-time. Making his way past two of his colleagues, who were passionately talking about something - probably about peeing into soups - he patted one of them on the shoulder, adding a quick "I'm taking a break for 15 minutes" before disappearing behind the movable door to the kitchen. The smell of dozens of dishes filled his nostrils as he untied the black apron that was hanging around his hips and directed himself to the part destined for waiters. The small table that could fit at maximum five people was empty, telling him he was the only one left to get a break, which probably also meant that the leftovers that endured the great hunger of ten well-build men were most probably cold, or - if he was lucky - lukewarm. Pulling one of the folding-chairs back to be able to sit on it, Minho reached out for the last dish and spoon, silently pouring himself some creamy, light green soup from the bowl into it. Taking his first spoonful, he allowed his gaze to roam around the familiar space and greet few of the cooks with smiles or winks as their glances crossed.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. "Yeah, just as ed up as you." Jaewon hummed, suddenly thinking of that one song by Zico and singing the words 'I am you, you are me' finding it just a little amusing. He grabbed his side, pretending that the kick hurt more than what it really had while groaning for good measure before laughing. "Oh, I bet you do wanna me so hard." The boy teased, wiggling his brows suggestively with a smirk on his face. The repeated kicking was allowed as he knew that for one, he deserved it and two, it was soft and oddly calming to him in a weird way. It soothed him and made him feel more relaxed. Or maybe it was the adderall. Who knew at this point with all the wine and now the drugs in his body.
"Hm, it's not an obsession. I just admire his macho man daddy vibes." Jaewon muttered, sitting up and resting his chin on Jongin's knee. "And yes, i am being serious about the librarian thing. People like roleplay. I'm sure that's a nerd's wet dream." Closing his eyes, he made his voice higher pitched and forced out a whine. "Oh yes, stamp that late fee." Jaewon laughed, cringing at his own words. Once he fell into soft giggles, he moved to place one arm on Jongin's knee and then rested his head there instead. His face mirrored the other's expression, brow cocked with an amused look accompanying it. "Would you? Wow, what a great friend I've found that would tie me up and fulfill my fantasies." He chuckled, moving Jongin's arm up so that the can of beer was pressing against the male's lips. "Drink up, tiger."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. "Good boy," Jongin praised the other sarcastically when he showed him his tongue, chuckling. Jongin closed the fridge with a shrug, deciding he still wanted a beer. He had forgotten how ty wine was when it came to the after effects - Jongin's head was pounding with a starting headache - and definitely needed a pickup. The little pill he had just swallowed would have probably done it well, too, but Jongin wanted to be sure. Walking back to the living area he sat down on the arm rest of the couch, taking a long sip from the can and sighing in content. "Nice to know I'm not the only one ed up in this household," he mumbled as he watched Jaewon lie on the floor, thinking back at his comment about minoring in drug abuse. Apparently, his innocent looks were deceiving as , Jongin thought to himself, on his lower lip absently. He was brought back to earth when he registered Jaewon's mocking words, reaching to kick the boy on the floor with his other foot. " you, Jaewon," he laughed, watching in amusement as the boy rolled around laughing. " you so hard." He took another sip and slid onto the couch, ing one of the buttons on his denim shirt. "Couldn't care less about picking up chicks at the library, by the way" he snorted, shaking his head at the mental image of him trying to hit on some college girls.
"Not really my cup of tea," he continued after a moment of silence from his end, one foot still on the floor gently kicking Jaewon's side repeatedly as he sipped on his beer. "Punished by the librarian? Are you serious? You're the one with a weird obsession with Christian Grey," Jongin snorted, raising an eyebrow in amusement. "I mean if you want me to tie you up just let me know, I'll give you a hand."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon gave a snort, chuckling afterwards. "I did major in photography. My minor drug abuse." He muttered, watching as Jongin cut the pill in half. Part of him expected for the other to back out but Jongin surprised him when he popped the pill into his mouth and swallowed it. He had been so surprised that he hadn't realized the second half of the pill was still on the table waiting for him until the taller brought it to his attention. "Okay okay." He sang, picking it up with an amused look and overnight it over his open mouth, dropping it in and swallowing it. Just for good measure, he stuck his tongue out to Jongin to show that he had taken it.
"No thanks. I'm already screwed enough as it is. I still have to show up to work tomorrow. I can't be more ed up than I already am." He called back, closing the little bag and tossing it back onto the coffee table. At least it wasn't too late in the evening. Hopefully the effects wouldn't keep him awake too long into the night. "Why aren't you going to school tomorrow anyway? You don't have a cute little sweater clean, pressed and ready to go pick up chicks at the library and take to get double shot iced americanos?" He teased, falling onto his back once more with his head tilted to the side so that he could see Jongin in the kitchen. "Don't you want to get the librarian's number and roleplay about her punishing you for having an overdue library book?" Jaewon laughed loudly, covering his mouth with the back of his hand as he rolled around in amusement.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. " you," Jongin repeated, laughing as Jaewon mimicked his expression. He reached to annoyingly mess Jaewon's hair as a revenge, only to feel hi body slide down as the other sat up, having to support himself with a hand on the couch so he wouldn't fall on his back. The dark haired male catched the small bag with a quiet "thanks", raising an eyebrow as Jaewon went on about how to take the pill probably. How did he know these things, Jongin had no idea. "I thought you majored in photography, not drug abuse," Jongin commented as Jaewon pushed him off of him, observing the bag and moving closer to the coffee table. Opening the zip lock bag and shaking the pills out from it, he took one in his hand. He'd taken ecstacy once before, but back then he had been smart enough to leave it there. Jongin didn't deal with addictions well and got hooked on things really easily. So for the sake of his own life he had promised himself to do only weed if he wanted to get high. He knew well enough that he was about to break that promise but couldn't bring himself to care about it. Somehow the fact that he had Jaewon there with him and that he had gotten the pills for free made him feel like it wasn't so bad. Not that it really changed anything.
"Only half of this thing? Mmkay.. wanna share?" Jongin asked, not really waiting for an answer and already cutting the pill in half and placing the other half on the table in front of Jaewon. "By the way, I never said I'm going to school tomorrow," he mumbled, staring at the pill on his palm before bringing his hand to his lips, tilting his head back and easily swallowing the pill. He turned to look at Jaewon, glancing at the boy and the pill on the table. "Don't you dare to back up now," nudging the boy slowly, Jongin got up and walked to the kitchen, taking out a can of beer and holding it up in the air as he rested his head against the open fridge door. "Want one?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Lower lip between his teeth to suppress a smile, Jaewon watched as Jongin slammed back the water shot and nearly lost it at the confused look on the male's face. He only laughed when he felt his back hit the floor as the taller got on top of him. "It was, it really was. You should have seen your face." The boy managed to get out in his fit of laughter, mimicking Jongin's expression before chuckling once more. "That was so priceless." As he calmed down, he wore a small grin on his face and looked down at his lower half while Jongin searched his pockets.
"Should be in the left pocket." He answered, trying to wriggle his arms free from the other's grip. It took a minute but he finally managed to do so, sitting up and propping himself on his forearm as he dug into his pocket with his free hand. His fingers found the small plastic bag, hearing it crinkle as he pulled it out and tossing it to the boy on top of him. "You know how to take it, right? Best way is orally. Lasts longer." He stated, patting Jongin's back softly.
"But if I were you, I'd take half since you have school tomorrow. I knew this one guy who took the whole thing and stayed up for seven hours. I don't know what dosage it was, but yeah. Just a warning." Playfully pushing Jongin off of him, Jaewon sat up properly with his knees to his chest and arms wrapped around his legs as he looked at the other. "You'd also have it a lot longer by breaking them in half so I strongly advise in doing so. That way you know if you actually like the stuff."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin opened his eyes when he felt a slap on his chest, laughing and trying to swat Jaewon's hand away, watching the boy crawl down to the floor to sit next to him. "You can't yourself over if you're already ed over," Jongin mumbled and tapped his temple with his index finger. When Jaewon got up to walk to the kitchen he laughed, back arching slightly as he threw his head back. "Cat coma," Jongin repeated, grabbing the couch for support as he sat up, the fits of laughter slowly dying down. "Well you're the one who fell asleep in the car. I figured you're done for the night," he shrugged and grinned at the boy when he saw him holding up shot glasses.
"Jaewon, my man, I knew you wouldn't disappoint me," Jongin gently slapped Jaewon's thigh as a thank you when he sat down, taking the glass that was handed to him and emptying the glass easily, head tilted back. The strong yet so relaxing burning in his throat he was waiting for never came, the boy breaking into coughs instead as he sat back up. "What the--" the dark haired male started, looking at the shot glass in confusion, looking then up at Jaewon who was sitting in front of him. "..oh you," Jongin laughed, grabbing Jaewon by his ankles to pull him closer and climbing on top of the other, locking both of his wrists inside his fists as he straddled the boy by sitting on his lower stomach. "Hilarious, Jae, very hilarious." Jongin was still laughing, trying his best to glare at Jaewon and look like he was serious. He wasn't. And he did not succeed at it either.
Jongin let go of one of Jaewon's wrists and tried to hold them both with one hand as he reached behind his legs to slide his fingers inside Jaewon's pockets, trying to look for the small zip lock bag. "Where is it, mm?" His words came out playful as he patted Jaewon's thighs in hopes of finding the pills. He wanted one. Right now.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon hummed softly, nodding along every now and then as they made their way up to their floor. The boy doubted he could take any more alcohol before blacking out at this point so it was a good call on Jongin's part. Once inside their apartment, he let his body fall onto the sofa so that he was laying on his stomach, head nestling against a pillow comfortably. "Yeah, I have work in the afternoon so hopefully I have time to sleep most of the hangover off." He mumbled into the cushion, face squished against it with his eyes closed. It had went silent for a minute or two until Jongin spoke up again, making the tired male chuckle and open his eyes once more. "I thought you said rain check." Reaching down, he lightly slapped the taller male's chest before sitting up on the couch.
"You're going to yourself over." Jaewon slid himself off the couch and instead sat next to his friend on the floor, legs crossed and hands tucked in his lap as he leaned against the couch for support. "And by the way, I don't know what you're talking about. I'm not tired at all." Undoing the first couple buttons on his shirt and messing up his very neat hair, the boy put his hands behind his head and leaned back further so that he was looking up at the ceiling. "I took a cat nap and I feel refreshed...that's a funny term. Cat nap. Cats don't nap. They sleep all day. It's more like cat coma of you ask me."
Standing from his position on the floor, he made his way over to the kitchen and got out the little shot glasses he knew Jongin had stowed away. Jaewon poured in some water and then brought it over to the male, grinning lazily as he did so. "Here, take a shot then." He muttered, lightly nudging the other with his foot before bending down and setting it in front of him.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin stood up once he got a response from Jaewon, leaning against the open car door and watching their driver see himself out as he waited for Jaewon to get out from the vehicle. Closing the door and locking the car up the male then turned around to walk up the stairs with Jaewon. "Next time I take you out it's gonna be hamburgers and cheap convenience store wine, then," he mumbled jokingly, letting out a small laugh as he dragged himself up the stairs behind his friend. "But yeah, I agree with you."
"Round two? I mean..." Jongin grabbed Jaewon by his sleeve as they reached the first floor, gently tugging him towards the elevator before the boy would head for the stairs. No in hell was he going to walk. "I'm in but I mean we can also take a rain check on that. Because you seem very tired." Jongin led the shorter male into the elevator, still holding onto his sleeve, forgetting to let go. "I do have school tomorrow," Jongin nodded tiredly while reaching to press the elevator to the fifth floor, leaning against the wall.
Once reaching their floor Jongin exited the elevator, fishing out his keys as he walked to their door. He let Jaewon in first, following right after and closing the door behind him. "Do you work tomorrow?" He then asked, kicking off his shoes and lying down on the floor with a soft grunt. He wasn't really tired, but the alcohol was starting to wear off, leaving the boy exhausted and lazy. "I think I need a shot. Of tequila or something. Wine makes you so sleepy."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon had felt the nudge, merely waving a hand in response out of habit. It wasn't until he felt his body sliding off of the door and instead lying on something else -a hand- that he began to stir awake. His eyelids felt heavy, soft groans sounding from the boy as he felt his head fall back ever so slightly at the tugs to his hair. "We're here?" He asked in a raspy voice, blinking his eyes a few times until they settled into small slits due to Jaewon squinting. Yes, they were in the parking garage of their complex. The boy climbed out of the car, muttering a thanks to the guy who had driven them before closing the door and rubbing his eyes.
It took him a few seconds to shake the sleep off but once he had, he was ready to go. "So this is what it's like to wine and dine with Gangnam's finest civilians. I think I'll pass next time." He chuckled, making his way to the stairs and turning the corner to go up to their apartment. "So, about the round two. Are you being serious? Because if you have school or whatever you're gonna be real ed up." He smiled over his shoulder at the male, holding onto the railing tightly to be sure that he wouldn't trip on the steps while doing so. "Or are you just going to be a rebel and not give a ?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin was, even while -faced, very strict about his car, so he forced himself to keep alert and awake to make sure the guy driving his vehicle didn't anything up or have problems with it. Yea, he knew, these guys were used to driving a wide variety of cars and whatever, but he still wanted to be 110 percent sure. When he turned his attention away from their driver, he looking comfortable enough for Jongin to trust his driving skills, he saw Jaewon sound asleep next to him, chuckling softly. Jongin reached to gently ruffle his hair, brushing few dark strands of hair away from his eyes, relaxing then back against the seat himself.
Jongin had drifted off to sleep without even realizing it. He felt someone shake him gently and the boy jumped up, eyes flying open. "Oh," he then mumbled with a small tired grin when he saw his driver staring back at him from the front seat. "Thank you." Jongin took out his wallet and paid the guy, stumbling out of the car. The 15 minute nap he had taken definitely helped him to sober up a bit, but he was still feeling lightheaded and drunk for the most part. Jongin nudged Jaewon, exiting the car and thanking the driver as he got his keys back. Walking around the car he opened the door Jaewon was sleeping against, supporting the shorter male's body as he did so so that he wouldn't fall or hurt himself. "Hey, Ana steele, wake the f up," Jongin laughed, fingers sliding into Jaewon's dark locks and tugging at them softly.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon couldn't help but laugh along with the other, the scenes of Jongin cursing aloud and mocking the host replaying over and over in his mind. "I can't belive they waited that long to get us out of there." He finally got out, laughter slowly fading into soft chuckles. In his opinion, they should have been kicked out a lot sooner with all the foul language that had been bothering a lot of the surrounding tables. Exiting the elevator, Jaewon's eyes stayed on the ground and mainly focused on his feet. The last thing he wanted to do was stumble and face plant onto the pavement. Not in his nice shirt. Following Jongin, he slid himself in after the male and rested his head against the door, arms crossed over his chest as he slumped down to get comfortable.
All Jaewon wanted to do was sleep. He felt so warm and cozy thanks to all the drinking he had done at dinner. If he closed his eyes though, he knew he wouldn't want to wake up and he didn't want Jongin to have to deal with him when they reached the complex. The boy did his best to stay awake but the car ride was so soothing -being that the guy who was behind the wheel wasn't a speed demon like his friend. He considered the fact it was still early enough in the evening that there would possibly be some sort of traffic. What with people going out for dinner or getting off work and all. It wouldn't be too bad if he rested for a few minutes. Jaewon felt his heavily hooded eyes flutter a bit before closing as he drifted in and out of consciousness, finally falling asleep completely just five minutes into the ride home.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin made his way to the counter, mumbling drunken but very cheery hellos and good evening sirs to people he was walking past by. Leaning against the counter as he took out a pack of cigarettes and placed one between his lips, ignoring the "sir, you can't smoke in here"s the host was repeatedly telling him. Jongin waved his hand in the air dismissively, sliding out a credit card and handing it over to the male who was clearly not amused by his antics.
Paying for the dinner the male then bowed in a mocking manner to the host, turning on his heels and following Jaewon into the elevator. He grinned at the sight of his friend flipping the host off, waiting for the doors to close before he burst into a loud laughter, throwing his head back against the mirror. "I... I swear... the bottle was an accident," he managed to mutter through his laughs, holding a hand up. Exhaling, he wrapped an arm around Jaewon's waist to keep his balance. "But it indeed was a pretty impressive way to end the whole . Professor Jongin is very content with the results of the research," he mumbled, standing back up when the doors opened and making his way towards the parking lot. There was a guy standing next to his car and Jongin grinned, nudging at Jaewon. "Over there." He walked over to the car and greeted the driver, climbing then to the backseat after handing over his keys.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. All was well, a few people chattering away about who knows what. Jaewon felt tired and warm. He could just fall asleep right here. Just for a few minutes. As his eyes closed, a smashing sound echoed in the now dead silent restaurant. It sounded pretty close too. Instantly sitting up, the boy looked down at the floor where tiny shards of so that had once been the bottle lay, reflecting the light and shimmering softly. He looked up at Jongin who at this point was being glared at by everyone in the room. Jaewon opened his mouth to say something when the other had done so for him. Well, that was one way to deal with the situation. He spotted the waiter approaching them and their task for the night of being kicked out was finally a success when they were asked to leave the restaurant. Jaewon stood from his seat, instantly regretting doing so as he felt his body protest at the quick action.
Before following Jongin out, Jaewon quickly downed the rest of the wine in his glass and stepped over the mess on the floor. He had to pass the waiter who was now beet red and looked like he wanted to strangle the two of them. The boy gave him a goofy smile, muttering out a sorry as he trailed behind his friend. The whole time they made their way to the entrance, eyes followed them and a few hushed words floated in the air. This was definitely one for the books. He waited patiently for Jongin to pay, leaning against the wall and staring off into space until everything had been taken care of.
Jaewon pressed the button to call the elevator a few times, his drunken mind not understanding why the doors hadn't opened up the first time. When they finally did, he turned around and waved at the man standing at the front desk then gave him the finger with a cheeky grin as the man continued to stare at them angrily. The two males were a mess, Jaewon noted as he looked at their reflection in the mirrors of the elevator. Pressing the ground button, he closed his eyes and let out a long sigh. "Well, I would say we have our results. I think that was three bottles of wine until we got kicked out. The experiment was a success in my opinion. What say you, professor jongin?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin took a generous sip from his glass before placing it back down, only to watch Jaewon reach for the bottle to pour more in. He had to admit he was starting to get dangerously drunk as well. Jongin usually handled his alcohol pretty well, especially when he ate while drinking, but this wine was definitely doing its job. Jongin had to the two first buttons from his shirt, the alcohol making his body temperature increase. He felt dizzy and his hands weren't moving the way he wanted them to - he felt clumsy and slow with his moves - which was probably why he managed to bump the -thank god- empty wine bottle with his elbow and push it to the floor. The thick glass bottle hit the floor with a loud smashing sound, breaking into big pieces.
"Oh ," were the only words audible in the otherwise silent restaurant as Jongin couldn't stop himself from cursing. He blinked and looked at Jaewon, turning then to look at all the people who were silently watching them in shock and disapproval. Jongin planned to apologize, to maybe bow and offer everyone a round of drinks, but instead he burst into laughter. "," he repeated, louder this time, throwing his head back as he ran his fingers through hid hair. The whole situation felt so unbelievable. The waiter who had been watching them the whole night quickly made his way to their table, lips pressed into a straight line. "Sir, you need to leave. Now."
Jongin slightly stumbled as he got up, grabbing at his chair for balance. "Our guess was that you're gay. Were we correct?" He smiled at the waiter, turning back to the table to empty his glass as his free hand reached to the back pocket of his jeans, pulling out his wallet. "Come on, Jae. Round two at our place. Oh, and you're free to join us later on," Jongin joked as he winked at the guy, patting on his shoulder before stumbling towards the cash register.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Looking over at the waiter in question, the boy felt the corners of his mouth turn up in a small smlile as he focused back on the male in front of him. "Yeah, thats one nice ." He watched as the other took a drink from his glass shortly after he had, their eyes meeting over the rim. Well wasn't Jongin the adventurous type. Jaewon chuckled, swallowing the wine down and his lips of the few little droplets. Of course Jongin managed to make such a thing happen. The guy was pretty good looking and by the way girls were fawning over him at the bar, he would suspect he'd have the same effect over males as well. So no, Jaewon was not in the least bit taken aback at the statement. He watched the wine fall into his glass, wondering how much was left. They had been drinking it like it was going out of style and by this point he was sure the bill for their dinner would be crazy high.
The next thing Jongin said had a small closed mouth smile appear on Jaewon's face. He didn't really have to think about it. Not that he would have been able to anyway at this point with the wine basically taking over his body. Without a word, he picked up the glass and held his pinkie out as he gulped down a significant amount of wine. Placing his hands flat down on the table afterwards, the boy laughed airily as he felt his head begin to spin faster than it previously had. "I'm going to black out if we keep this up." He mumbled, running both hands into his dark hair and lightly pulling at the locks between his fingers. Taking a moment for the room to focus once more, he reached for the bottle and poured half of what was left, leaving the rest for Jongin.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin watched in amusement from behind his glass as Jaewon drank, lips curling into a playful smile against the brim of the glass. Good candidate? Jongin didn't know how to interpret that - also he was too drunk to think too hard about it. "It is," he agreed as he pulled away from his drink and set it back down. "So is that waiter's . Pretty sure he's gay as . Did you see the way he walks?" Jongin raised an eyebrow, a lazy smile playing on his lips when he heard Jaewon's next 'Never have I ever'. Of course he had - many times. Well, not that much anymore, but Jongin had had a hell of a wild first year living here in Seoul. Experimenting at its best. "Make it three girls and two guys." Jongin reached for his glass again and brought it to his lips, giving Jaewon a long look before he threw his head back and took a sip. "Interesting," Jongin mumbled, tilting his head with a small grin as he watched Jaewon drink as well. He started to understand why Jaewon had been so chilled about the pills; this boy didn't say 'no' very often, did he? Jongin was loving it. He crossed his legs and watched the boy sitting across from him carefully. He reached for the wine bottle and refilled both of their glasses, the bottle now almost empty. , that was gone quickly. And so were the last bits of rationality from Jongin's body.
"Never.. have I ever..," Jongin started slowly, eyes wandering around the room before landing on Jaewon, looking at the boy straight into his dark eyes, on his lower lip with a small smile playing on his lips. "Never have I ever had .. awfully..inappropriate thoughts about my friend while faced." The boy mumbled, words barely audible, his eyes never leaving Jaewon's as his hand slid across the table, reaching for his glass.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. "Well aren't you a gentleman." The boy chuckled, giving a short applause for the other male who was becoming more and more animated as he drank. Jaewon cocked his head to the side, a broad smile crossing his features as he watched Jongin drink from his glass. "No ing way." He muttered to himself, very much humored to find out Jongin had indeed done at least one of the options he had said. This could be a lot more fun than he thought it'd be. Plus, he would be able to learn more about his new roommate/friend than what he had managed to scratch off of the surface. It was Jongin's turn to come up with something and since Jaewon had went down the explicit route, he was sure the taller male would do the same. He looked at Jongin with a deadpan expression, chuckling soon afterwards as he grabbed his glass. "You're kidding, right? I'm a good canidate for such things. My is so nice. Oh boy." He sighed with a smile playing at his lips, bringing the brim of the glass up and taking a long sip of wine and setting it back down on the table.
Hands folded in his lap, Jaewon pursed his lips and looked up at the ceiling as he racked his brain for something to follow up with. "Never have I ever been with a guy and a girl at the same time." Jaewon then picked his glass up and took another drink. He knew the premise of the game, he was just curious to see if Jongin had done so before as well. Neither of them had ever said what their ualities were and he didn't want to assume anything off the jokes they were constantly feeding off of each other. Even if Jongin did actually partake in this certain scenario, it wouldn't give off what his uality was anyway so in theory, that would be kept private if the other wouldn't want to share that detail at the moment.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. "Yes, though it can be something..that you have or haven't... done. Something you did or..or not did. But! But...if you did it then you drink. And, if you did not you did not drink. I mean, you do not drink. If you didn't do it." In his own head, Jongin was making perfect sense. "But if you did you have to drink, okay? Okay." Jongin gave a confident nod as if to signal to the other boy that they were now on the same page and the instructions were clear as water. "Hey!" Jongin exclaimed, surprisingly managing to keep his voice down, spreading his arms. "I am not an like that. I am not an like that. I'm not gonna do that to you, I never would, okay? It's gonna be me carrying you out when you pass out, not some random dude. I have manners like that," Jongin's grin got wider towards the end of the sentence, the boy leaning then back on his seat. He ran his fingers lazily through his dark locks, staring at Jaewon with a challenging grin while his fingers fumbled with the stem of the wine glass. "Hit me." Jongin nudged Jaewon under the table with his foot, his mouth dropping open when he heard Jaewon's words. He sat up, narrowing his eyes at his friend. "What? What kind of person do you think I am? I would never-" Jongin stopped himself mid-sentence, flashing an amused smile at Jaewon before he went and grabbed his glass, taking a big gulp out of the wine.
He placed the glass down with a thud, clearing his throat as he tried to hold back his laughter. Jongin wiped the corner of his mouth with his thumb, having spilled some wine there. "Never have I ever, " Jongin started, crossing his arms as he leaned on the table. It was quite difficult to come up with stuff Jongin hadn't done, so he decided to just concentrate on trying to find out the dark side of the picture-perfect friend of his who looked oh so pure but - Jongin was sure - really wasn't. "First things first. Never have I ever had something up my ." Jongin tapped the table and reached for his glass, knowing at least he would have to drink to this.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. The boy scoffed, completely amused with his friend's very straight forward question as he crossed his arms over his chest and nodded his head admittedly. Feels like an eternity." Jaewon laughed, thinking of the last time he had been in the sack tangled up with someone. Another fit sounded from the boy, looking over at the entrance. "Watch it, I might actually take you up on that." He muttered, referring to how drunk he was becoming. Swirling the liquid in the glass, Jaewon hummed softly as he tried to process what the hell Jongin was talking about. Everything sounded so muffled and slurred that he was surprised they were even able to hold a conversation with each other. "You're going to say I've done and I'm going to get so ed up, our pal over at the front desk is going to have to get someone to carry me out." He laughed, nodding his head anyway. Why not? They were already being the annoying drunk kids at the restaurant. Might as well try and finish this bottle as quickly as they could so that Jongin got his money's worth paying for multiple bottles of this very expensive wine. "This is where you say something you haven't done personally but what others might have?" He asked, trying to remember the rules both because it had been a while since he played this game and his mind was getting foggy and Jaewon couldn't think straight. "The purpose is to have the other person drink, not you. Correct?" He poured more wine into Jongin's glass, noticing the other had emptied it without him even noticing. Sitting back, tried to think of a scenario for Jongin. "Uh, never have I ever... paid someone to blow me or gotten paid to blow someone." That had been the first thing to pop into his head thanks to the taller male's comment about giving head to the delicious food he had been eating earlier.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin did his best to calm down, exhaling as he turned back to the table, his face feeling warm. He fanned himself and cleared his throat, giving Jaewon his best unamused glare he managed to pull off in that state of mind. "Shut up." The words came out as a breathy chuckle, Jongin gently kicking Jaewon's leg under the table. He could feel the other guests' eyes boring into him, trying to ignore it. The alcohol in his blood didn't tell him to feel embarrassed, quite the opposite; Jongin thought the situation was hilarious. He smirked at Jaewon's words, raising an eyebrow questioningly. "What's with the Fifty shades of spank-me-harder-Mr. Grey - references tonight? My guess is it's been a while since you got some," Jongin raised an eyebrow, nodding towards the entrance and where the elevators were. "The offer's still on." His eyes glinted with amusement but the words came out low, hushed. Jongin wasn't sure if it was the wine or the surroundings or simply the fact that he himself had been a quite a while alone but he was weirdly enjoying this.
The taller one of the two also caught the glare the waiter gave them, and knowing they didn't really give warnings in places like this, he grabbed his glass, emptying it with one long sip. Placing the glass back down, Jongin had to rest his head in his hands, humming out softly. He was drunk. He was drunk at it wasn't even 6 pm yet. Jongin congratulated himself for being a total up quietly in his mind before lifting his eyes up from the table. "Wanna play a drinking game? Never have I ever or some other that was popular back when we were like. fifteen," Jongin suggested with a small grin.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon watched the male struggle with the phone in his hand, in his lower lip to hide his smile. He so badly wanted to laugh at how frustrated Jongin was getting because he couldn't type on the keyboard. The taller male finally succeeded in his task and with that brought back a glance Jaewon had been seeing all night. They were probably getting on a lot of people's nerves. Most tables surrounding them seated either older folks or very snobby looking individuals. Either way, Jaewon figured the one thing on their minds was that the two boys definitely were being a nuisance. It didn't help when Jongin made the table rattle. Jaewon couldn't help but crack up laughing, face turning red as he hid it in the palms of his hands to try and keep the noise down. He was slouched forward in his chair, holy folded into itself as his laughter slowly subsided into soft chuckles. Once he had calmed down, the boy wore a large grin on his face and brought the glass to his lips once more. "Smooth, real smooth Mr. Grey." He muttered, nodding his head in apology at the attention he had gathered from his laughing outburst. "Well, we might actually be getting kicked out faster than what I had expected. Doesn't look like people are too happy with us right now." He spotted the waiter who hand tended to them earlier on, the man was giving them an unamusement look. "Seems like that guy over there is just waiting for someone to complain so he can get rid of us."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. "Good" was the only thing Jongin managed to mumble out as a reply, nodding and taking a long sip from his -once again- full glass. Every time Jongin had wine he was surprised by the effect it had on him, so easily getting the male tipsy and lightheaded. It wasn't like hard liquors like vodka that hit him few moments later like you expected them to. When drinking wine Jongin never expected it to hit him so quickly and it caught the boy off guard every damn time. Today was not an exception. "," he laughed and sat up, shaking his head. "I didn't realize we already destroyed, like..a whole bottle," Jongin was tapping his fingertips gently against the full wine bottle, fingers brushing against the label as he examined it carefully. "We probably... should... order it now," Jongin's speech came out as a soft slurr, the boy nodding at his own words before he fished out his phone and fumbled with it to get the app open. It took him a while to get done something he usually finished in less than 2 minutes. Typing in his name, address, and their current address turned out to be quite a task, Jongin's fingers slipping and pressing the wrong buttons so many times he let out a soft, frustrated growl.
"Done!," he then exclaimed proudly, a little bit too loud, the woman from the table next to them glaring daggers at him. Jongin's smile faded, the boy turning his attention back to Jaewon, holding back a laughter. "Done," he repeated, the word rolling off his tongue slowly, as an exaggerated whisper. He then ate few more salmon rolls with a hum, hitting his knee on the table with a loud thump as he attempted to cross his legs under the table. The plates and utensils clinked loudly and Jongin turned to face the window, covering his mouth tightly with his hand to muffle his laughs.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. It was hard to suppress the grin breaking across his face as Jongin went on to ramble about how he had acquired the pills. He should know by now that Jaewon wasn't the type to judge anyone. It was just a little out of nowhere for the other to have something on him that wasn't weed. "Dude, you don't have to explain." He chuckled, watching in amusement as the other continued to go on about how he pressure Jaewon into taking the pills. Oh if Jongin only knew. The waitress came by and another bottle had been placed on the table. He was sure this would be the last one before they were asked to leave, his head already had been feeling light and cloudy. Once she left, he continued the conversation about the drugs that were currently nestled in his jean pocket. "I'm a big boy, Jongin. You wouldn't be forcing me to do anything. It's my decision." He assured his friend as the male topped of the remaining wine in their glasses. He made a face at the offer of dessert. Jaewon wasn't much of a sweets kind of guy and definitely not if it was going to be at a place as nice as this. It was bound to be rich and savory and that would end up giving him a headache. He didn't need the one he was going to have from the alcohol enhanced by anything else at the moment. "No, I'm good. I don't really have a sweet tooth. You go ahead though if you want." He answered, stretching his arms over his head and yawning tiredly. He felt full. Not stuffed but comfortable enough with the amount of food he had managed to eat. His eyes moved to look over at Jongin, a teasing grin playing at his features. "You're impressive, I'm already full and yet you're bringing up dessert. Your stomach must be a bottomless pit." Placing his head in his hands, Jaewon closed his eyes momentarily before they snapped open once more. "We should probably...probably request one of those drivers you were talking about before we get... too drunk, huh?" He asked, hiccupping in the middle of his sentence and giggling right after. The boy wasn't all that familiar with the service so he figured if they requested now, by the time they were out the door the guy would be out there. "Or should we wait? I have no idea..."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin let out a breath he had no idea he had been holding in. Jaewon had not freaked out, even though Jongin had just very straightforwardly suggested they'd abuse prescription drugs. Thank god. Jongin opened his mouth to say something, shutting it then quickly. Wait. Jaewon had not freaked out. Instead, he was wearing an expression hard for Jongin to decode. Jongin slowly relaxed back into his seat, taking another sip of his wine. "Deal?" Jongin couldn't help his confusion, bringing the glass to his lips slowly as he observed Jaewon, head tilting to the side in thought. Maybe the expression Jongin was having a hard time to read was confusion. Of course. That's what it had to be. Jongin was sure of it. , he should've explained it right away, now Jaewon thought he did this on a daily basis or something. Who knows maybe he had just felt too bad to turn down the offer. Jongin sit up again, quickly, waving his hand dismissively in the air. "I got it from the guy I usually buy you-know-what. He just kinda shoved it at me, told me to try it out" Jongin explained, his lips. "You sure you're alright with that? I don't want to... force you into..." his words trailed off, staying silent for a moment before he clapped his hands together. "Anyway, yes, second bottle," Jongin changed the subject as he saw the waiter walk to their table, setting the new bottle on the table after opening it for them. Jongin thanked the lady with a fake smile, turning his attention then back to Jaewon. "So we really doing this?" He raised an eyebrow, a small grin tugging at the corner of his lips. The male grabbed the full bottle, filling both of their glasses. "You wanna order dessert?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. Jaewon's fingers gripped the small plastic bag, rubbing the excess material between them before taking it and placing it in his own pocket. Adderall. Not bad. He'd taken it a few times back in high school and had learned a few key things to one, have the best high and two, make it stretch for your money. The only reason he wore a surprised expression was because Jongin had told him that he never did any other drug besides weed. The boy wondered what made him get the pills. "Alright, deal." He nodded, crossing his legs underneath the table and leaning back against his chair with his glass of wine in his hand.
Jaewon had taken a variety of drugs in his younger years. Adderall was really nothing compared to some of the other stuff his upperclassmen friends had him try out. He hadn't touched anything since a couple weeks before moving into the apartment. Then he broke and got high with Jongin and ever since then Jaewon has been regressing. Not that he really minded, he was doing it more for others than he had been for himself. If only his NA and AA groups could see him now. Getting drunk and high every other day. He chuckled to himself, smacking his lips and taking a long drink from his glass. "So, this is bottle two right now? Let's see how this goes."
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Of course Jaewon was in. That's what Jongin liked about his new roommate the most. Every time they decided to do stupid like this Jongin couldn't help but wonder why was Jaewon so into it without any doubts. On the outside, the boy looked very normal. Very normal compared to Jongin who was... mentally pretty messed up at this point of his life. Then again there was still a lot of things he didn't know about Jaewon, and Jongin wasn't the type to pry, either. Mainly because he didn't want other people to do that to him, either. Jongin decided to push those thoughts away from his mind, suddenly reminded of something he had slipped into his pocket before they had left the apartment. "A freebie, try it out. Live a little," his regular dealer from work had grinned when sliding it into his pocket.
Now, if he was really going to do this, it could be a hit or a miss. Jaewon was up for hard liquors and weed, sure, but this was something else. Jongin cleared his throat, sliding his fingers into his pocket and fiddling around with the tiny zip lock bag in there. He used his free hand to bring his wine glass to his lips, taking a sip, eyes locked on the boy sitting across from him as if he could read it from his eyes how he was going to react if Jongin brought this subject up. Finishing the food on his plate and setting the utensils on the plate as a sign that he was finished the boy finally spoke up. "I'll see your two bottles..." Jongin leaned over the table slightly, placing his hand flat on the surface and sliding it then across the table towards Jaewon. Gesturing towards his hand with a tiny nod of his head, he waited for Jaewon to place his hand on top of his before Jongin carefully pulled his hand back. He raised the wine glass to his lips, murmuring against the edge of the glass so that only Jaewon could hear him. "And raise you four pills of Adderall." Jongin placed the glass down on the table and wiped his hands on his napkin, glancing at the four tiny orange 20mg pills resting on the table. It wasn't anything too bad. He had looked them up just out of curiosity the same night he had gotten them. The amount was just enough to give them a proper high, and the drug itself was a pretty innocent one, being used in ADHD treatments every day around the world.
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. "Quite thirsty actually." Jaewon admitted, chuckling airily as he felt his cheeks become warm from the alcohol. He made sure that every single bite he took was savored, giving a couple hums with his eyes closed. All the flavors blended together so well and Jaewon was more than satisfied with his choice. Thank the heavens for bacon. He opened his eyes just as Jongin had leaned forward on the table and once the other had told him about his 'experiment' a mischievous glint formed in his eyes. "I don't think it would take too long for us to get kicked out with our explicit way of talking but I wouldn't pass up the opportunity to say I've been kicked out of a restaurant before. I'm in."
With that, Jaewon scooped up some more food and shoveled it into his mouth. He chased it down with a long sip of wine, feeling his head begin to spin from the alcohol. Oh yeah, it wouldn't take too much longer for it to hit him with the way he was guzzling down the wine. He was nearing the end of his meal, Jaewon had been acceptionally hungry since his breakfast was no more than a protein bar and a glass of water so once he was finished he decided to munch off of the appetizers. "What do you wanna bet on that it takes maybe two or two and a half before we get the boot?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁴⁰⁹ jaewon j. Jongin laughed along with Jaewon. His laughter was always contagious, and right now the few glasses of wine he had already downed were not really helping. Resuming eating, Jongin grabbed the wine bottle resting in the ice bucket and poured another glass for the both of them. He also made a mental note to wear that shirt as often as possible from now on, just for the heck of it. The bottle was now sitting on the table, empty, and Jongin wondered if he had the guts to order another one. Well, since they had come all the way down here they could as well eat and drink properly, the boy decided, the alcohol in his system making his ' it' - attitude come out even stronger. Jongin held up the bottle as a gesture for the nearby waitress to get them another one.
"Hope you're thirsty," Jongin's lips curled into a small smile as he set the empty bottle back down on the table, taking a big forkful of meat and some veggies from his plate and leaning back on his seat, holding the glass in his hands. "I'm actually thinking of doing this scientific research," He explained, face serious as if he was very passinate about the subject about to be discussed. "I want to find out how drunk you can get with expensive wine in an expensive fancy restaurant before they ask you to leave." Jongin was now leaning over the table as he spoke, voice hushed so that only Jaewon could hear him. "Care to join?"
@ᴀᴘᴛ⁵⁰⁶ jongin k. The comment alone was enough for Jaewon to choke on his food, the result of immediate laughter. He was sure he got a couple looks from the tables surrounding them as he literally sounded like a walrus because of the food in his mouth. Managing to finally calm down, the boy took a drink of wine and cleared his throat. "Okay, please don't ever let me see you wear that outfit again. I won't be able to take you seriously thanks to that." He chuckled as he stabbed his fork into another piece of meat and tomatoes. "Alright, just remind me when we get back to the apartment. It's with my socks in the closet dresser.
Jongin really did have a way of expressing himself. Apparently Jaewon wasn't the only one to think so as a lady sitting behind him had turned around and was now giving the other a distasteful expression. Jaewon gave her a small wave, grinning slightly while doing so. "Maybe say it louder so that everyone else in here can hear you, dude." He said jokingly, swirling the wine around in his glass like he had seen a few older men do. He wasn't sure what that did but it was kind of amusing to see it spin around.
"Oh, it's really good. I am not sure I would blow it for free necessarily but yeah it's still pretty ing good." He said, letting the profanity slip out naturally. The same woman turned around and was now directing her glare towards the shorter male. Jaewon bit down on his lower lip, trying to suppress a smile that wanted to creep onto his face at her expression. "I guess I need to go and take some etiquette classes. For now, when in doubt pinkie out." Wrapping his fingers around the skinny stem of the wine glass, Jaewon raised it in the direction of the woman and drank greedily.
