@❀Hendery *notice the friendly smile, making me flash you one as well*
*breath calmly enjoying the night silent vibes, not really paying attention to what you are doing*
*turn my head to your side with a slightly surprised expression, not expecting you to talk to me*
Oh.. Hey. Yeah, the night is pretty
@⚰Yukhei [notices you approaching and smiles friendlily to you, not saying anything at first]
[doesn't bother you for a while, just minding my own business]
[finally decides the silence is getting a bit suffocating and turns to you] Hey, nice night?
@❀Hendery *after what it seems a couple of minutes I find a bench, near a lamppost but still dark. Notice you sitting on it and debate in my head wether I should go there or not, walking closer anyway and silently take my place on it*
@⚰Yukhei [notices a bench up ahead and decides to take a short break, leaning back as I sat down, looking around leisurely to see who else might be out and about at a time like this and at a place like this]
@❀Hendery *walk my first steps into the park, it was dark already so i could freely walk around outdoors and what other place than going to the park on my first night. Silently look around trying to find a bench to sit down*
@⚰Yukhei /the air was chilly at night, and with the exception of a few night-dwellers, there isn't a lot of people around
[sighs as I walk along the path, humming to myself and enjoying the night air]
@⚰Ryeowook "Hurry up! Come on, we got to go!!", a man in his mid-twenties yelled in frustration at Yuuma as they whizzed through the park. The 19-year old ran fast and had kept up with the other just fine until a tightening in his chest alerted him of something absolutely disastrous. He was having an attack. He inevitably slowed and started wheezing. Yuuma did his best to hide it from the other human but it was no use. The young man noticed and growled in annoyed. ", now?! ", the man cursed, a flash of worry darting across his face. The people chasing them were getting closer, and as expected his gaze grew cold. "Sorry, you're on your own. You'll... you'll be fine." That was the last he said before running off to save his own hide, leaving Yuuma, gasping for air to his own devices. Yuuma would have screamed bloody murder if he could have. He had known this would happen, this always happened but , you know? Yuuma's eyes flashed with panic. They were too close, only 400m away now and the vampires were fast. He only had a few seconds now. Then, he saw something he thought his eyes were playing tricks with him. "Jeon..sung?" Holy ! He might not die today after all. Just around the corner stood a male figure that he could swear was his childhood friend Jeonsung. Jeonsung was sneaky, he would definitely know what to do. He could definitely help him, he was going to be fine. Memories of when they had played together as kids hit him all at once and brought a bright smile to his lips. He couldn't believe it but there was no time to be shocked. He dashed over, still wheezing and grabbed onto the back of his clothes. "J-jeonsung- h-help", he panted. So what had he done to be chased and then abandoned by his accomplice? Well, Yuuma had been approached by someone who wanted to enact revenge against the Blood Reign. Yuuma happily agreed and with his technical expertise, he made a makeshift bomb and helped the man plant it. Unfortunately, they were caught in the process of installing it. Yuuma pressed his lips into a thin line, his brows scrunching up in an attempt to regain his composure. He reached into his pocket and pressed a button. A kilometre away there was a loud BOOM and flames rose to the sky in a matter of seconds. The 19-yr old grinned to himself. The stupid vampires hadn't disabled the bomb.
@❂Sicheng Ten's brows quirked in confusion, but the stranger was thankfully quick to explain what he meant. "Oh, I see." It felt a little odd, to be told that he caught someone's eye and they wanted to draw him -- people usually wanted more unsavory things. It was a refreshing change, at the very least. Chewing on his lip, Ten contemplated, and nodded. "I suppose since you've already started, letting you sketch me in better light won't hurt," he said, his words light and his eyes twinkling in a way that gave away he was merely teasing. He stepped forward, moving into the light under the lamp post. Since the artist didn't give him any particular way to stand, he stood naturally, the way he might stand if he had just stopped on the street waiting for a crosswalk, or the way he would stand behind the counter in Night Blossom.
@❂E'Dawn Taeil patiently followed him, hands tucked in the pockets of his denim jacket as the human retrieved the drinks and snacks that he wanted. His lips curved in a tiny answering smile, and he merely hummed in response. The vampire stalked up to the counter and pulled out his wallet, counting out the money and setting it on the surface. He tucked his change into his wallet and returned it to his pocket. Allowing Hyojong to lace their fingers together, the vampire strode out of the story, making sure to walk at a pace that was comfortable for the human that accompanied him.
Taeil chuckled. "I'd have nothing against taking you to my home, but I doubt you'd like it much, sweet," he murmured. The tomb in which he lived was not one that human companions ever seemed fond of -- it unnerved some, spooked others and for others it was uncomfortable. It was much easier to remain for a short period in hotel rooms than it was to introduce whatever human was at his side at the time to the place in which he lived. It was not a cheerful place, on the outside or the inside. The flowers which had been planted on the outside were the only cheer, but it was a mere illusion to the rest of it. Taeil couldn't say for sure that Hyojong would react negatively to the tomb, but Taeil was not one who chose to take such chances when he had something that he wanted to keep. "Unless you particularly like spooky old graves," he added, his tone light and teasing as he led Hyojong to the vendor that was so fond of him.
@❂E'Dawn "I suppose that is true," Taeil mused. He d across the human's cheekbone with his thumb, lowering his hand as Hyojong looked up at the sky. "Very well; we'll get your rolls 'somewhere else' and your food from the corner store." The vampire stood and stretched himself out, popping his back and neck. "Shall we, then?" Taeil murmured. He was accustomed to how much Hyojong ate, and watched him like a hawk to ensure that he kept it up. His reasons were, of course, selfish; but then, most everything he did was for a selfish reason.
"Mmmhmm," Taeil hummed in response, glancing over at Hyojong from the corner of his eyes. The human was his preferred food source -- but maybe to call him Taeil's /food source/ was the wrong title. He was more of a dessert, a treat that Taeil didn't get to have very often for fear of losing the source. The vampire liked this human's taste too much to let him become a mere meal; no, he was a delicacy, and Taeil treated him as such. Now, the way he tended to Hyojong may have looked to an outsider like something else, like more than just a vampire and the human he was taking care of like some kind of livestock, but it was nothing more than the relationship between a cunning predator and his willing prey. "Don't worry, Hyojong, I understand completely. If you weren't around, who would clean up the mess of dead bodies that always turns up?" Taeil asked. He changed the subject then, not out of discomfort, but out of deciding that topic was unimportant and would get him nowhere. "What do you want to drink?" he asked, holding the door of the corner store open for his human companion.
@❂E'Dawn Taeil sat on one of the stone benches in the park, observing geese as they scurried here and there. He considered them quite ridiculous, pointless creatures; really, what was the use for them? If a squawking nuisance was desired, it could be obtained through irritating humans or some of the more simpering, cowardly vampires he had encountered in the past. The vampire crossed one leg over the other and looked away from the birds, his eyes focusing on people on the either side of the park. They all seemed to be the same; carbon copies of one another. Hearing footsteps, his lips quirked up in a tiny, steely smile -- he knew well who was approaching, and silently accepted the limbs that wrapped around them. Internally he patted himself on the back, for not even tensing any longer. "Hyojong," he greeted coolly, turning and reaching up to cup his face with one of his small hands. "Yet again? I could always convince him it would be in his best interests to sell to you. You know I would." Taeil wasn't lying -- he needed Hyojong well-fed and happy, for it made his blood all the sweeter.
@❂Sicheng It was one of the rare nights Ten chose to close the flower shop early so he could spend some time out enjoying himself, rather than staying amid the blooms of Night Blossom. It wasn't that he disliked spending so much of his time in the flower shop; no, that wasn't it at all. He loved his flower shop and each and every flower within it, but even he sometimes needed to get away from repetition. Ten had chosen the park as his destination, as it was a fairly peaceful place at this time of night and usually there weren't any threats lurking about. Now, there were times when there were people in the park that made Ten steer clear - hopefully, there were none of those tonight. On his way there, Ten passed a stranger, thinking nothing of it as he dropped to a knee to retie his boots. Both of them were coming unlaced, much to his displeasure. Finishing up as quickly as he could while ensuring they were tied properly, Ten stood up, stretched, and froze as he caught movement out of the corner of his eye. He turned, and realized quite quickly that the stranger who he had passed had stopped walking to draw him. Ten raised a brow, staring intently at the man as he asked, "Isn't the light too bad to draw?"
@⚰Yixing *the early hours after sunset are his favourite part of the day, the only time when he can see humans still going about their day... and if there’s one thing that he likes, that’s people-watching*
*today, he needed to break out of the welcome confines of the library and take a breath of fresh air, and the park was the obvious choice*
*he didn’t expect to see a hunt, he didn’t expect to know who it was before he could even take a good look at him*
*his pale lips part in shock, the name doesn’t push past them but it’s screamed in his head as his body freezes in the middle of the path he has been walking upon*
*he doesn’t know why his heart clenches, he hopes it’s just because of fear for the human, but his eyes fix on Yixing’s arms around the body, and then the lips pressed against the pale neck, and memories of mere fantasies torment him for a moment*
*he just stares, heart in his throat, thoughts frozen*
@⚰Joonmyun What do we have here.. /whispers under his breath, a small smirk coming to his lips as his eyes lock on a human walking down the stairs...Barely passed sunset; their milky skin and the loudness of their blood pumping within them becoming something his eyes can't manage to depart from, eyes flashing a deep red as the smirk widens when they stand by the railing, looking out to the lake/
... So easy it's almost pitiful.. /it's within a blink of an eye when he dashes across the green field, no warning sign given when he pulls the human aside of the road, pinning them against the tree as his fangs attach to the stranger's neck, a loud yelp from the stranger being the only sound filling the silence in the air/
