@☆ jimin p。 Namjoon jumps, not expecting to see anyone in the shop- well not as far as his eyesight was helping him. The boy held fluffy hair, with so many shines adoring his figure, specially the hands that easily caught his eye, making him zoom out and halting his steps from leaving. "oh-- hi" perhaps he had been to early on judging the grandma, she was right after all, perhaps in a wrong way but, she has given quite the address. Glancing down at the paper before he was squinting at what appeared to be his name; his not so dark onyxes returned to the boy, taking his sweet time to scan over the shines on his much smaller hands- compared to his own at least, up to his eyes, his plump cheeks that seemed to be the stand out of his face and his lips, the boy completed the whole look of the shop, as if he was supposed to run something like this. releasing a soft chuckle; he neatly folded the paper back and slipped it into his pocket. Glasses off, what laid beneath was the eye patch while the dark shade accompanied the paper in his coat pocket.
"That grandma is an interesting Grandma, she told me a lot about you. you must be Jimin?" deep voice breaks the silence right after Jimin. He stands, rather awkwardly, watching as the boy finishes up two cups of tea that smells wonderful, one that intensifies the calming tea scent taking over the atmosphere of the shop. He allows his feet to lead him to the table, long fingers tugging the chair back swiftly before settling down, shoulders slightly haunched as if he had been carrying some sort of weight over the past years. The tips of his fingers tingled with golden colored sparkles spilling out almost uncontrollably, disappearing within barely a few seconds, and he quickly dusted off his hands. His magic always spilled out when he was uncomfortable, awkward, or any kind of weird extreme kind of emotion rushed into him. Sometimes it poured out of his eye like endless tears, which was quite creepy which gave him more of a reason to conceal away is face.
"thank you" he whispered, gaze falling onto the male before him with his fingers playing with each other in mindless motions. "I- well Grandma Jen told me this was jewelry store, even showed me her green marble looking ring, which was very pretty and i was quite interested...lets just say a tea shop was the last thing i expected to see, tho the shop was exactly what she described so...here i am" His eyes was focused on the boy's hand, and mindlessly, as always; he reached forward for the boy's hand. The pad of his fingertips lightly ran over the beauty decorating his hand- the touch was careful, as if to see whether magic ran into what was beneath his fingertip. "beside Tea and jewelry, what else is there, seems like this place has more to offer than what meets the eye" His voice was deep, gentle and careful, just like the touch he offered before withdrawing his hand- not wanting to show sudden rudeness due to his carelessness at times.
@☆ namjoon k。 Upon the opening of the door, before Namjoon, is a large, wooden board - magic scrawls in lovely script: 'Welcome, Kim Namjoon!'. Jimin stands off to the side, reading something from a book that's laying on the floor, perhaps why Namjoon couldn't see him. He's crouched, but when he hears a voice, he stands, rather quickly. Darn it, Bubble was supposed to tell him! Why didn't he hear the bells? "Hello!" He croons in return, making his way to the front of the counter with a hop in his step. He leans against the top of the counter, and looks towards the mage before him, curiosity blazing behind courtesy within the depths of his gaze. He barely catches the words that were said, though. Jewelry shop? More often than not, he's mistaken for a connoisseur of jewels, what with all the bangles he wears, and the rings that adorn his fingers. "Oh." He murmurs, standing back, some, for Namjoon.
"Your grandma may have mistook my personal endeavors for my business," Jimin covers his mouth when he laughs, purposely showing off the glittering jewels that band around his fingers. Each one has a deep enchantment scrawled along them, and there are many more on his body, hidden under the sweater and leggings he wears, at the moment. Jimin starts to fix some tea, mostly for himself, but on the off chance that Namjoon would want a cup, "Besides jewelry, what brings you here?" Maybe he'll ask about them? About the spells that have been passed down along Jimin's lineage, about the place where'd he'd gotten them. They're questions he's used to, the thoughts easy to read on people's faces when they take a look at him.
"Come, sit," He looks over his shoulder towards the sign, catching 'Namjoon', before the magic completely erases, "Namjoon." He's fixing a 'season's taste' tea, not wanting to deal with the biting chill of autumn, and brings two cups over towards a table. He sets them down, and as soon as he sits, Bubble is bounding over, and hopping onto his lap. The other looks .. Peculiar, and Jimin swears he's seen him around town, somewhere. He can't place his finger on it. Interesting.
@☆ jungkook j。 his eyes twinkle with a sense of mischief that only taehyung knows, when jungkook gives him the go ahead to indulge in his brew of choice. he'd love to see this boy bouncing with a caffeine jolt, and so jimin heads around the counter, pulling out a mixture that looks sunny, and bright. tea starts to brew itself, cups dancing along the bar top towards where he stands, before all of them come together right before him. "ohh, no, no," he muses, humming along with a song only he knows, "my brews are not an open recipe book. if i have everyone knowing just what i put in all of these babies, i wont be able to run my business! i'll tell you, though," he drips three drops of the bright brew into the piping cup of tea,
"you'll taste sunshine for two days." he holds out the cup to him, blowing a cool burst of air over the tea cup that has it shimmering a kaleidoscope of golds, and oranges. bubble looks at him with a knowing look in her eye, and she positively purrs, adoring the thought that she'll have a friend to be hyper with. poor jungkook. he hopes he'll enjoy his time here, even if he''s about to taste one of the most requested brews for the night crews across town.
@☆ jimin p。 [] okay its been a minute since i actually wrote sth that makes sense, im a lil rusty, i apologize in advance
It was obvious by the shimmery stand in the corner of the bird shop that the man must have a small weakness for shiny things, whether it was a rarity of a old jewel that may have lost its shine -- a little magic could always fix that- or a new piece that costed too much and he would probably only glance at behind the shop and wander beneath his own shop in his work room for hours remaking the same piece yet much cheaper. Some costumers left with a fancy cage with hand made pieces of jewelries attached to them, but many did not know each piece held its own little spell that suited the colorful bird just right. After all, Kim Namjoon was quite the skilled mage even if he did not look like one, just like how his last costumer's child has described him, he looked like a 'santa gone wrong' in which the mother of the child had been embarrassed and apologized over and over again, which was fine really, Namjoon was quite used to certain things after darkness consumed his one eye. It was during one of the visits of a certain costumer who had been nothing but dear where the work jewelry caught his attention. The old lady was in his late fifties, had already bought two birds before, one for his nephew and one for her self, she was here to find the little birdy a pair and Namjoon was gonna make sure to put a little spell on the jewelry of the cage, one that would revive the dead plant she kept on talking about, she deserved it, she was a nice hooman, he liked her, maybe the way he 'liked' people was quite different from others, but it was what it was.
"son, you know there is a jewelry place..."
Namjoon had perked up upon hearing the small piece of information, quickly running off to come back with a table, scribbling down the slightly confusing words of the woman with the information and the color of the shop. The woman was wearing one on her ring finger, speaking of how it looked exactly like the wedding ring she had lost years ago when she lost her husband in the sea, a trip that was too bitter for her that still brought salty glistening drops of tears to her dark brown onyxes, Namjoon could feel the waves of sadness through the soft waves of the magic around the shop and he could only add a little extra discount to her birdy that day, just to make her feel a little bit better. Dressed up in a long brown coat and a pair of pants slightly loose for him; he was already welcoming the fall. The windiness of the air was enough to show the mother nature was already done with the summer. What confused him about the address was- well, the shop. it was a tea shop, not what he was expecting but the color scheme was exactly of what the woman had spoke of. with confusion written over his gaze; he gently pushed the door open, the strong smell of tea hitting him instantly along with the jingle of the bells, welcoming him. He was quite fond of tea, but he was quite the lazy one when it came to making them. fixing his sun glasses, he walked further into the place, eye scanning around the place, suddenly engulfing him in a warmth he was unfamiliar with. Glancing down at the note with a name on it 'jimin' He could only call out. "em..hello?"
He probably got it wrong, this was a tea shop not a jewelry shop, maybe the old woman had mistaken it "this is a tea shop grandma...not a jewelry shop" he mumbled to himself, quite ready to just walk out and save himself from the embarrassment.
@☆ jimin p。 "a familiar, huh? cats gotta be more use than..." trailing off, jungkook decided not to finish his sentence. if he said anything about his own 'familiar', he knew word would somehow get back to taehyung. he had a way of knowing every little thing jungkook was up to-- and he hated it, honestly. or-- well, he liked to say he hated it, it was kind of nice, knowing that someone was at least keeping an eye out for him. at the mention of taehyung from the boy before him, jungkook snorted. "yeah, taehyung. you seem like the kind of kid he'd adore."
jungkook leaned down, fingers brushing lightly over the cat's fur. he was always fond of animals, but he wouldnt admit to there being any sort of soft spot. however, he didnt need to: a short little croon left his lips as the cat brushed her jaw along jungkook's fingers. he couldnt deny, the greed inside of him making it all the more appealing to have those recipes. he could always tinker with them, improve them, make them his own-- something of the sort. "why dont you surprise me with a tea, and we can talk over it. perhaps you could keep my interest with a recipe of some kind. i have time. otherwise taehyung will... kick my . and you've got my attention."
@☆ jungkook j。 "she's not *just* a cat, she's my familiar!" jimin coos down at the cat, "but yes, she is. she conjured herself when i was six or so, and all i really needed was a few things. cuddling, and comfort being one, so she usually is .. very cuddly. you must have stepped over a scarab trap, those are her *favorites*." and he's got them littered over the yards, little enchantments that hold the pungent scent of the beetle. "taehyung, right? love him, best person i've ever met. but!" he claps his hands together, and starts backing away, towards his counter. in a snap, he's behind the wooden structure, and he's leaning against the tasteful marble of his bar top.
"what can i get for you? herbal? non-magic? an ear for listening?" at this, he shows off his own, the lobe decorated in a plentiful amount of piercings. "most of my final products come here, my little evil science projects are at home, so if you're looking for any potion recipes, or how to's, i can only give you word of mouth." no recipes plastered here, especially not his cosmetic ones. he needs those more than anything, money grubbers trying to steal his slow-to-take patent. this person in front of him isn't what he expected; from what taehyung had said, he was much more .. big in the head, and jimin was thinking of someone not so much him. he'd seen him from afar, of course, but other than that? all from taehyung. he seems pleasant enough, but jimin isn't one to lash out at anyone, for anything.
@☆ jimin p。 instantly, jungkook's eyes went to the red words that appeared above the counter, and though he wouldnt say it, he was truly charmed by the magical display. he gave a short nod of appreciation as if it was something simple and easy to do, as if he'd been able to charm such objects since he was young-- but of course not. no one needed to know that, though. only a select few, and even then, jungkook made sure they were sworn to secrecy. looking down, jungkook finally catches sight of the little white cat bouncing along toward him, then curling about his feet. just as he's about to say something, he hears the scolding coming from behind the curtain.
raising his gaze from the cat, taking a hesitant step forward and shutting the door behind him, jungkook's eyes meet that of the shop owner. a brow twitches up slightly as he takes in the form before him along with all the sputtering. he wasn't what the warlock expected. he seemed bubblier, and a bit shorter, than what his imagination had lead him to believe while walking on his way. "i uh-- well, a mutual--" jungkook hesitated. would he call him a friend? "someone we both know told me i should come by. he seemed insistent. ah -- is your cat usually like this?" gesturing toward the feline that curled about his feet, peering up at him occasionally, jungkook let out an exasperated sigh.
@☆ jungkook j。 as soon as the door opened, above the counter, on a large plaque of lacquered wood, a brilliant red script scrawled out across the expanse, reading: welcome, jeon jungkook! there tiniest tinkle of welcoming bells sounds above the other upon his entrance, and the sound of a curious 'chrrp?' could be heard from behind the deep purple curtains. a cat scurries out, small legs waddling her little, pure white body along. her small, folded ears twitch slightly as she comes to stand in front of the guest, before she goes between his legs, and attempts to curl herself around his ankle. "Bubble!" a voice could be heard from behind those very curtains, "you are not to rub up on the guests, you little attention who--!" the curtain's swept to the side, and out walks park jimin himself, but he's stunned into silence, and simultaneously, the curtain his magic was holding up, flops into his face.
he lets out a sputter of puffs, and bats at the cloth, before walking towards the man, who he knows as jungkook - and not from his sign -, and offers a smile. "welcome to tinkering teas! in partnership with fizzle-pop potions; i'm jimin. how can i help you today?" that customer service voice is sickly sweet, but his smile is genuine, although slight on his face. he's heard some stories, mostly comments from taehyung about the warlock's ego, but other than that, he's tried to tune out the blatant bias he may have. "what brings you hear today?" that voice is dropped, his tone back to the regular pitch, but still sweet as ever. bubble's made a nuisance of herself, jimin's familiar trying to cuddle with jungkook's shoe, but jimin can't find it in himself to tell her to go away.
@☆ jimin p。 jungkook wasnt looking forward to this. of course, taehyung was urging him to 'go visit the boy in the tea shop' and 'check out just how cool it was' -- jungkook didnt care. or at least, he pretended not to. he had grown a soft spot, despite always feeling angry and annoyed with constant bickering. but he would oblige. he would always oblige, whether the elder knew or not. he would never admit it, of course, and if anyone caught him in his tracks he would vehemently deny anything. it was his charm. or something like that.
so there the warlock was, trudging along toward the tea shop, hoping that he didnt miss it. his hands were tucked into his pockets, jacket tugged over his shoulders and zipped up. upon finding the shop, sign hanging and even blowing slightly with the wind, he sighed and stopped in front of the door. what was he even going to say? he had no idea who was on the other side of the door, or what they did. all he knew is taehyung had a clear liking for the kid. with yet another sigh, he steeled his nerves and lifted a hand from his pocket to turn the knob, entering the shop with a little tinkering of bells giving him away, his eyes wide as he glanced along the interior of the shop. for once, his voice was taken from him, and he was suddenly unsure how to announce his presence while standing in the open door.
