@❀ shiah y。 "do you have a problem, miss?" jungkook's brow seemed to stay up, arched and well groomed as he looked over the smaller girl before him. with a roll of his eyes, he lifted a hand to run his fingers through his hair, gaze sliding from her to the creatures making noise around him. they all seemed somewhat excited to have a visitor - jungkook couldn't imagine why not, especially when the worker seemed to doze off at work. "yeah, im looking for something like that. something loyal, that obeys." jungkook sneered at the mere idea of the man he knows now as his familiar. it was all a ruse, of course, but at least it was convincing while he was in public. he was fond of the guy, but he didnt like to give it away. "why dont you show me?"
@☆ jungkook j。 quirking a brow in amusement, she warily eyed the taller latter with discontent, yet kindly brushed it off as 'customers are always right.' it was her fault to get caught dozing off during working hours anyways, and shiah decided she was lucky enough the male didn't seem to be chased off by the sight of a lazing worker. "a warlock." it was more of a mere statement as she bit back a snicker - no wonder. most warlocks she met did hold a sense of condescension and pride among them. "well, yes. i'll try to help... it is my job anyways." mumbling the ends of the sentence to herself, she tucks a loose strand of hair behind her ear and hobbled over to the counter. "i could give you the catalog of creatures we have. or show them to you - although, they're down the other hall. are you perhaps looking for a sort of familiar spirit?"
@❀ shiah y。 a short scoff left his lips as he rolled his eyes. he really wasnt interested in any sort of excuse, and its not like he would believe it. nothing was pointing to anything other than what he saw, so of course he wouldnt believe any excuse. "how may you help me?" jungkook took in a deep inhale, brow raising as he looked along the shop. there were all sorts of animals here, surely he'd be able to find something good enough. "i need a pet. something good enough as a warlock's pet. are you going to be able to help me with that?"
@☆ jungkook j。 shiah could feel the seconds drawling past, the continuous grumbling of her stomach merely egging her on to place her tasks aside and simply bask in - well, nothing. with half lidded eyes, she begins to drift into slumber, head lulling side to side up until the resounding chime of the bell ripped through the serene atmosphere. staggering onto her feet, she successively blinks in a lame attempt to appear awake as the excited huffs, puffs and barks of the creatures in the quaint store notifies her of a customer. "i- i am so sorry, it's not. i was just -" one quick skim of the latter's features and she understands he was far from interested in hearing her feeble excuses. "welcome to creeping critters. how may i help you?"
@❀ shiah y。 jungkook had honestly had enough. the constant bickering, the total nonsense that seemed to follow him and his 'familiar' wherever he went... he was done. well, he at least always acted like it. so maybe-- maybe this time, if he made a point to get a pet of some sort to teach him a lesson, maybe it'd show him. so jungkook decided that he was going to do just that. with his hands tucked into his pockets, he trudged along to the pet store and cast a quick glance up to the sign, pausing in front of the door. peering in, he noticed a girl laying on the floor, and with a brow raised, he nudged the door open, calling out in a rather unamused voice. "laying down on the job, eh?"
@☆ jungkook j。 "there ya' go!" shiah latches the door to the mini pen and secures the lock after her usual round of serving lunch to each creature that inhabited the store. herself, being an exclusion. crouched by the barricade, she folds her arms across her knees to nestle her chin within, gaze idly hovering upon the four-legged animals that pitter pattered towards the bowls laid in a line. "eat up, babies. you'll be mighty fine for anyone who walks in here." mumbling against the length of the sweater that covered her arm, she eventually topples onto the floor with a soft thud. sparing a pathetic gaze over her shoulder to where the door stood still, she assumes today would be another one of those slow days - as it usually is every mondays with people out and about running their own errands. and without a second thought, she reclines to flatten her back upon the ground, arms sprawled across.
