In the age before reckoning, when the stars sang and the heavens danced in harmony, our kindLunar Celestials—stood as guardians of balance. We were the firstborn of the Eye of Eternity, woven from light and cosmic will, bound to the sacred duty of illumination.
I, Aerioth, survived the Battle of Brothers, when our kin were torn asunder, and the great schism birthed the Solar Celestials. Their rebellion cast the heavens into war, shattering our unity. The Crystal Citadel endured, a beacon above the world below, shielding knowledge and faith.
This chronicle records our history, our trials, and the truths hidden within celestial time, so that no shadow may claim the light again.

Defended by the Moonveil Sentinels, the Citadel stands as a fortress of wisdom and power, ever vigilant against its eternal foes—the Solar Celestials, Vampires, and Ghouls.

@☾ Dove Cameron The council chamber reeked of sweat and stale ambition, the acrid scent of burning incense failing to mask the stench of wasted time. Shadows of men, proud, weary, and divided, stretched long against the chamber’s vaulted ceiling. Their voices had been sharp, their tempers dull, their decisions nonexistent. Hours of bitter tongues and feigned diplomacy had yielded nothing but the bitter taste of stagnation.

I dismissed them with a flick of my wrist, biting down my disdain as they shuffled from the room like vultures picking at a corpse they refused to bury. The heavy oak doors groaned shut behind them, sealing in silence.
A muscle in my jaw twitched.
If my council could not unite for the salvation of their own realm, what hope did we have with the thirteen kingdoms of Heleo? The Ascenders were slipping further from grace, the promise of redemption a fading ember. The Eye demanded more. More sacrifice, more devotion, more control. And I would deliver.

I turned sharply on my heel, my robes whispering across the stone as I made my way to my chambers. The corridors stretched long, torches sputtering as I passed, their light dancing along murals of wars fought long before my time. They were reminders of the cost of failure. Of what awaited those who faltered.
My chamber door shut with a soft thud behind me. The weight of duty settled deep in my bones, pressing against my ribs like iron chains. Still, my flame did not extinguish. It shrank, flickering, but never went out.

Crossing the room, I reached for the crystal decanter perched atop my desk. The celestial liquor swirled within, deep and iridescent like liquid night. I poured a glass, watching the slow spiral of mist rise from its surface, the scent of stardust and something dangerously sweet curling around me. Lifting it to my lips, I prepared to drink—to swallow down the weight of tonight’s failures, to dull the thoughts that gnawed at the edges of my mind.

Then—A knock.

I froze, glass hovering just shy of my mouth.
No one disturbed me at this hour. Not unless it was urgent. Not unless it was dire.
The knock came again, deliberate. Slow.
. I set the glass down, the soft clink deafening in the silence.
Who would dare?

We’re greeted by Raphael and a few other familiar faces hidden amongst the other guardians. He slides me a miffed look. I deserve it for ignoring his attempts to reach out to me these last four and half months, but I pretend I didn’t see it. He steps forward from among the line of other guardians. He folds his left arm behind his back and touches his right fist to his opposite shoulder. “Welcome back, brother.” His voice brasses and I return a formal greeting. “Is the Council ready for me?” “Yes, follow us to the Citadel. The Council is patiently waiting to discuss your newly learned social ideologies and why they convoluted your loyalty.” Only years of rigid training are the only thing that doesn’t make me twist my expression into malice. “Mind your tongue, Raphael. I’m still your older brother and your superior, regardless. I say with a flap of my wings, holding them high. “Inform the Cideal Council I will arrive shortly.” My gaze flicks toward you when I detect your presence across the room. “In the meantime, I’d like a private word with Zhang Yixing.

Yes and i would say im still getting familiar with them honestly. some are clear, some are as confusing as ever, and the rules/ she grunts/ why do we need so many rules.
so far my favourite is actually just combat training. Though history is also interesting, its intriguing actually how Angels and Demon clans clashes each other yet managed to form a treaty and a tense one till today, that's actually a really complicated diplomatic relation that im trying to understa- /She paused after realizing she have just rambled everything to this man.
