@⭑ ᴴ yoo kihyun My eyes are on you as you frown, almost making me frown as well. But I guess you being a teacher might make you not want to take orders very well. I wondered how much you have changed as you sit. "Hmmm?" I make a sound, seeing as you wipe your palm on your pants, telling me the blood came from the cough instead. "It's my job to worry, Mr. Yoo" Maybe if I was more professional, it would persuade you to listen to me. However you had taken a stand and began for the door, but not before giving me a quick and messy explanation for your words.
Always the one worried about others feelings. I smiled as at least you hadn't changed that. "Hey, who said you could go?" I ask, giving you a serious look. "If it's not a cut, that blood had to come from somewhere" I didn't want to push what I thought was true onto you. Instead, I wanted you to come clean about it. "But, you're a big boy. If you don't want treatment, I can't force you"
Yet, I think. I can't force you just yet. "But what I would like you to do....." I look at my watch, shrugging off my lab coat on my rack and walking up behind you. If you wanted to leave, I could leave as well. "Is to let me treat you to tea and lunch." I wanted to strap you onto a bed and let you rest, you looked so tired. But I also wanted you to not see me in a bad light and to figure out if I could jog your memory. "So you have a choice to make. Stay and rest here or let me pay for your lunch and some tea. I won't accept a no for an answer" I had my beeper on me and if someone needed me, they just needed to send me a message. "Well? Mr. Yoo?" I give you a look. "Which one is it?"

@⭑ ᴴ yoo kihyun My third day on the job and here I was, having finished restocking the cabinets and already organizing the files on each students power and notes from the previous doctor. I wanted to learn as much as I could about the brats, to help me heal them along the way. Granted, all I've gotten up to now were a couple trying to get away from assignments by feigning stomach aches. I had to chuckle to myself, allowing them to lay back for a bit and relax, before sending them on their way.
However this time around, it wasn't a false emergency, my eyes straying from the cabinet and moving to the door as one injured teen along with another student stepped in. I paid them little mind though as my eyes land on you. I had seen you from afar, even before I came to this school, would you remember me as I remembered you? I look into your tired eyes and I realize that....You don't. I hide my disappointment well, more so when my brows furrowed as I catch speckles of blood in your hand. "I'm sure it's just a sprain" I say as I turn from you, looking to the student with a raised brow. "If it was something broken, he would be screaming bloody murder" I smirk at the kid, giving the wist a light slap to cause them to curse.
"Don't make me give you a time out" I huff before taking the hand in my own, my eyes beginning to glow slightly and my palms becoming warm as I healed the boys minor sprain. I take a pen and a notepad, handing it to them. "Name, date, hour and reason for visit right here and you can go, both of you" I say, having taken little to no time. I turn away from the boys, who seem to be giving you a look as they hurriedly write and drop the notepad before scrambling away.
"You, Kihyun" I had to keep myself from calling you Kiki, it was bad enough I used your name. "Sit on the bed. Now" I said in a serious and demanding tone, going to get some gauze and holding out my hand to see yours. "Seems you need attention too" I wait for you to speak, wanting to hear your voice again. "Well? Don't make me tie you down" I give a laugh, smiling some at the thought.

@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook smiled as he was given the pot of dandelions, marvelling in awe at how realistic they look on paper, and also admiring the fact that he now has a pot of dandelions to himself. Now he doesn’t have to go to some random hillside just to find dandelions, it’s so difficult to find them in the city, and he was starting to miss his peaceful lifestyle in the village. He’s sure he’ll be less homesick now that he has something he could play with- hopefully they won’t run out of resources though, then back at it again will be his boring time in the city with no dandelions to blow at.
Ryeowook nodded as Minji reminded him to take care of the plant, noting to himself that it’s a very alive plant after all, even though it was summoned through a drawing. He also kept in mind to place the plant somewhere where he’s least likely to place his papers at, probably the balcony, or on the windowsill of his bedroom. He rested the pot on his lap and looked back to Minji, a soft grateful smile plastered on his face as he bowed thankfully. “It’s very beautiful, I love it. I really appreciate this, thank you.”
Ryeowook watched as Minji got up, a bit surprised. “Going already?” But he wasn’t going to stop her- she deserves the rest. “I’ll tell your teachers about what happen, you can rest for the day. Take care, okay? And don’t fall asleep with a pencil in hand and sketchbook on the table again.” He smiled playfully at her, and then waved. “Bye, see you around campus too.”
@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook "Dandelions?" she was surprised at the choice he made but didn't say much about her thoughts on it. "They suit you well," she began to sketch out the dandelions on the paper while humming a simple tune. It was just a simple quick drawing and when she was satisfied with it, she pulled the pencil back from the paper. She recognized the flowers of dandelions, being a usual object when the girl wanted to practice her drawing skills back then. In less than a second, a pot of dandelions appeared near the teacher's feet. "They act like normal flowers, you need to water them often and such. Just don't place it near papers, that's how the creations turn back into drawings," she made sure to give him a reminder, just in case he forgot.
"You still deserve the thanks, your bravery was something," she complimented the teacher once again. Now that she was feeling much better, she decided there was no use taking up a bed for someone who really needed it instead. She took off the blanket and folded it before hopping down from the bed. If she wanted to rest some more, she could just take the rest of the day off and sleep in her shared dorm.
"Thank you for your help today, Mr Kim and sorry I had to drag you into the chaos," she gave him a slight bow in respect and thanks. "I'll see you around the campus. Hope that the rest of your day will be peaceful instead," she holds up her hand and waves goodbye at the teacher as she heads off to her dorm.
@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook grinned and chuckled when she said she doesn’t panic easily, nodding in acknowledgment. “And so you don’t. I’m glad to hear that at least. Panic only makes situations worse.” He smiled encouragingly at her determination. “I’m sure whatever your plans are for future occurrences, it’ll be effective. Good luck!”
Ryeowook scowled playfully at Minji when she ruffled his hair, his brows knitted but a smile on his lips to show he didn’t mean it. “Hey, don’t do that, I’m still your teacher!” When she pulled away, he instinctively arranged his hair a bit, although it won’t make much of a difference with how messy it was to begin with. He smiled at the compliment and shook his head. “They only happen to he useful today because we were near windows where plants grew close to and can enter from. If given any other situations, my powers are as good as useless.” He sighed sadly at that, but smiled at Minji. “You, on the other hand, are a different story. You can draw something to protect yourself, so long as you have your sketchbook and given time to draw.”
Ryeowook looked at Minji in surprise at her offer, letting out a huff of laughter as he shrugged. “Sure, I don’t see why not.” He hummed at the question as he thought over his choices. “Well, I love all kinds of plants.” Then he thought about a plant that he used to find at the hillside in the forest near the village he used to live at, and smiled. “Maybe dandelions?” It isn’t something extravagant and uncommon, but he still remembers the days when he would just sit on the ground and pluck those plants out to blow at, watching the flowers spread and fly away with the wind.
Ryeowook smiled and shook his head at her last phrase, quipping, “Its terrifying, yes, I won’t deny that. But as a teacher, I still had to do my duty. It’s not really anything you should thank me for, it’s just what I do.”
@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook This experience was certainly going to be a lesson Minji would learn from. She had to be much more careful now when she slept and she had to devise an idea on how to prevent such incident from reoccurring again. They had been lucky this time around but what if, say they wouldn't be so lucky the next time? She wondered if she should see someone about this concern of hers but she drowned the thought as fast as it arrived, this was her problem to solve and she would do it on her own.
The student snorts at her teacher's sentence. "I don't panic that easily, Mr Kim," she takes another sip from the cup before continuing, "Today's event just caught me off guard. Now that it happened, I can think of a plan beforehand - multiple plans, in fact." Which was true. As much as this incident left her deeply scarred, she would be much more ready if another time would happen. Thinking back to today's events made her head swirl, so many things could have gone better if she had thought such an incident could happen. But the past was the past, they could only learn from it.
"Thank you for your help today," Minji smile and shortly ruffled his hair, "Your powers are quite useful, Mr Kim." Although both of them were titled as sidekicks in the super world, it seemed both of them did an excellent job for today's disastrous events. "If it weren't for you, I wouldn't have been able to put up a good distraction in time," she pulls her book closer and flips to another empty page, her pencil hovering over the page as she looked back at the teacher. The mention of paperwork made her feel a bit sympathetic and perhaps she could offer something to lighten up his work. "Maybe a little gift could make it worthwhile? Do you have any kind of plants you like? I'm pretty good with nature-related items," she looks back at the teacher, "Just a little thank you gift for your hard work today, I know how terrifying it was to you as well."
@ˢ kim minji Ryeowook stared at Minji, a worried frown on his face at what she said, and sighed, scratching the back of his neck. It was clear that she was deeply upset by the situation and he understood, he truly did, because let’s be honest, who wouldn’t get spooked when they brought their dead loved ones to life, even though they did not actually bring them back from the other side? One will always remember their loved ones as they are, and sometimes these memories could be too painful for the person, and to suddenly encounter their reincarnated loved ones, whether in the form of creation power or as another totally different person, could be a bit too much.
Ryeowook could also understand her worry about drawing an even more harmful and even smarter creation, after everything that happened today. Although this was the first time it happened, if Minji’s panicked state from the beginning was anything to go by, the chances of a next time will not be impossible anymore. They were lucky that the creation she made today was nothing too dangerous, even if it did almost injure the students if not for Minji’s quick reflex, but if there is to be a next time, who can be sure that it wouldn’t be something that can cause a bigger mess than this one did?
Still, Ryeowook didn’t like seeing his student looking so down, and being the ever optimistic person, or close to one, he told her. “Let us all take this moment as an experience, something to learn from. This may be the first time it happened, but we managed to solve the problem, and that’s all that matters.” He inhaled slowly. “If there’s a next time, at least we will know how to deal with the situation better, since we already dealt with it once before. Everything that happens, no matter it occurred once or more, we can always learn something from it.” He placed a hand on Minji’s shoulder and squeezed it reassuringly, a small smile on his lips and his eyes looking at her gently. “So don’t worry about it. Just remember- don’t panic, calm down, think of the best solution to the problem, and execute it. If anything goes wrong, you can always have a Plan B ready.”
Ryeowook pulled his hand away from Minji and leaned back into his chair, letting out a tired breath. “Plus, today is rather eventful, don’t you think?” He grinned, and hoped it didn’t look like a grimace instead. “No one got hurt, thankfully, but still, it’s rather exciting to be fighting something and trying to save people from harm.” He shrugged his shoulders. “Although I don’t anticipate the paperwork that is to come...” and with that, a wince formed on his features, just thinking about the report he has to make on this is giving him a headache.
@⭑ ˢ kim ryeowook Her head was still hung down as she could see the tears falling down onto the floor. It had been a long time since she cried this much and it made her feel very much pathetic to be crying in front of so many people. The destruction that the creation had left behind would raise questions among the teachers and she was sure she would head to detention for causing so much trouble. She held both the book and the crumpled paper close to her chest as she let out another cry - why did it hurt so much when she saw her mother's eyes?
The student could hear Mr Kim's footsteps as they headed near her. His embrace only caused her to cry even harder. Real or not, the creation reminded her so much of her own wonderful mother and perhaps, she was hurting because deep down inside Minji's heart - she wished nothing more but to bring her mother back to life although she knew it was both wrong and impossible. Even as someone with superpowers, Minji was still a child, a child that longed for her mother. They didn't have enough time spent together and she once cursed the world for taking her mother away so quickly.
Her sobbing had come down just as the other teachers came by to investigate what was the cause of all the ruckus. She was thankful that Mr Kim had explained instead, she wouldn't be able to talk properly in her current state. As the teacher pulled her up to her feet and guided her to the infirmary, Minji could feel some of the students looking at her with curious eyes. She was sure some of them would be asking her questions after the commotion had died down.
"Thank you," Minji whispered to the nurse as she pulled on the blanket. She said nothing as Mr Kim sat down and gratefully took the warm cup into her hands. The warmth seeped into her skin and made her feel a bit better, much stable than before. Her book and the piece of paper was settled near the bed and she couldn't bear to look at the drawing. She took a sip from the cup, feeling the cocoa travel down and fill her with warmness. Her eyes were blank and empty as she answered the teacher, "It's not, it's not okay." One of her hands reached out to the crumpled drawing and she smoothens it out with her fingertips. "As long as she's alive in my nightmares, today's events could happen again," she explains, "It was the first time any of my creations became smart enough to take away the original drawing. She knew taking the paper away would take a longer time for me to catch her. Who knows what could happen next? What if the next time I draw in my sleep, I create an evil being?..." The thoughts that ran through her head scared her immensely and she wondered why did she feel the need to tell the teacher sitting down in front of her.
@ˢ kim minji They soon arrived to the infirmary, and the smell of disinfectant hit Ryeowook full force the moment he walked through the door, so much that he almost stopped in his track from the strong smell. There was nobody in the infirmary, saved for the nurses who had noticed them enter but was motioned by the teacher that they were fine, so the place was eerily quiet and empty, making the atmosphere seem dead even though it felt peaceful. He brought Minji to the nearest empty bed and sat her down, before going away to ask for a warm blanket and get a cup of hot chocolate for his student.
A nurse draped a blanket over the girl as Ryeowook came back with a mug of steaming cocoa, bringing a chair from close by and placing it in front of Minji before sitting down himself, handing his student the cup. “You’re okay now,” comforted Ryeowook, his eyes soft, everything will be okay now.
@ᴴ kim youngjo hwanwoong tried to even his breath, his adrenaline rushing out of his body as he tried not to put too much of his weight on his in injured ankle. he was rather slow in following after the taller lad, though he tried to follow the other's face. his heart sank at the thought of the nurse not being there, frowning as he carefully sat himself down on the bed. "guess today really is my lucky day, huh," he uttered to himself, sarcasm lacing his words and he rolled his eyes. he considered his options. he could be stubborn, could let his pride take reign. after all, this was the man's fault. hwanwoong had gotten his injuries just trying to protect the other's back (even if they weren't that severe), so... it was only natural that ravn was the one to care for him, right? hwanwoong lifted a leg slightly, shifting in his position. "just an ankle. sprained or something, i'm not really sure."
@ᴴ yeo hwanwoong ravn takes slow steps into the room, peeking around the curtains and all, a sigh leaving him at the complete lack of noises or humans in the room. not even a nurse was lingering near or in the room, so he just enters into it fully, gesturing the other male to follow in after him and sit down on one of the beds. ravn's eyes flutter around the room quickly before looking straight at hwanwoong. "so. the nurse isn't here, so i guess.. i'll be the one taking care of you." he says, blinking a few times as he speaks seriously, although his tone turns nicer over time. after such a trial- ravn didn't really have it in him to do that usual.. somewhat snarky voice that he'd use with the other. maybe he became a little more open to the scenario of truly understanding hwanwoong, after being forced to work with him on the field, and the boy not taking chances he could to have utterly screwed ravn over- he could appreciate him a little more. but it'd have to be something reciprocated, because if he gets provoked- all of those thoughts are as good as gone. he gazes over at hwanwoong again, before talking again. "where were the injuries, again? show them to me and i'll take care of them." he says, while his view moves at the end of his sentence, to the actual materials in the room.
