♚ wolf palace

Taeyong walks around the empty hallways of his palace. he stops for a bit and looks up at an open window. the soft cold bresh that came out of it made contact with his face gave him a little chill. he signed and closed it before continuing to walk calmly.

Changbin smiled and hugged his brother back, also not caring if anyone saw them in this moment. "I believe we are both lucky. I have the best brother out there, and no one can make me think otherwise. You're amazing and I love you so much, Hyunnie." He giggled at Boa's words and shook his head, "Nope, no chance of having me as a brother, but I can be your friend if you would like me to." He looked at Hyun-Joong and hoped that his brother would be proud of him for trying.

Changbin giggled as Hyun-Joong pulled him into a hug and kissed his head. He hugged his brother back tightly and smiled brightly, not caring if anyone saw them either. "I wouldn't change anything about my lovely hyung. You are the best, and I love you so much... You're my lovely brother and my role model~" He ruffled Hyun-Joong's hair and then looked towards Boa. "I am happy with the brother that I have~. He's the best. I won't switch him for anyone, sorry~"

@Seo Changbin [Don't worry about it. My muse is so low lately, so I'm not here as much. Take your time.]

Hyun pulled him into a hug and kissed his head with a smile. Right now, he didn't care if anyone saw them. He loved his baby brother. "No little one. I'm the lucky one. Taking care of you has given my life purpose. Watching you grow into such an amazing and kind man is the proudest thing I've ever done. I wouldn't change any of it either." He laughed and squeezed his brother gently. Boa smiled at the scene in front of her then looked at Changbin. "Well, I guess there's no chance of me convincing you to be my little brother then."

@Kim Hyun-Joong Changbin listened to his brother and felt his eyes get teary as he heard what Hyun-Joong told him. "I am lucky to have you as my brother. You mean everything to me and I'm happy that I got to grow up with you taking care of me, even if it was hard for me to be missing a parent. Hyunnie, I also feel like your son some days, and I'll stay by your side forever. You are the best family I can ever have, I wouldn't ask for anything different." He smiled and gave the older a quick hug, bowing to the shop owner again.

@Seo Changbin Hyun didn't feel any particular way about having to fight growing up. It was just the way life was then and he couldn't really be upset about it. He'd been able to help their father and to care for their mother and now keep Changbin safe, so it was all good. "Changie, stop. I came back to take care of you when I found out about mom. I didn't have to, but I wanted to. I'm your big brother and if I'm honest, you feel more like my son some days. I'll never stop taking care of and protecting you. Even when you find your mate, I'll just protect you both. That's what family does." He loved the other more than anything and it was one of the reasons he loved Hyungseok so much. The man understood and accepted the way he was with his brother. It was really helpful.
Hiding the present for his brother, Boa went and rang everything up. He paid for it and also left her a tip as he always did. She was nice to him and treated him like any other person and that was something he really valued.

Changbin nodded along to his brother's words, knowing that what he said was true. He felt bad that Hyun Joong had no choice in fighting or not, and he also felt bad that he had grown up being so sheltered and protected his whole life, even protecting himself by hiding his identity now. "I'm sorry that you didn't have a choice.. Can you promise me that you'll tell me if I ever become too much to handle? Once you have a mate and pups, I shouldn't be the one you have to worry about and protect all the time. I should help you protect them too. Especially if I ever get a mate, I would want to protect them too.. I'm just afraid, I guess." He looked down a bit, but laughed once the comment about where the pups would sleep with him was made.
"Thank you, I am happy to hear that she won't treat me any differently."
He watched from a distance, his eyes lighting up as he watched Hyun Joong buy a lot of candles. Changbin always loved the scents that were picked out as they were what he enjoyed as well. As he saw the shop owner look at him, he bowed back politely and blushed shyly, waiting for his brother to come back to his side.

@Seo Changbin Hyun Joong wasn't surprised the young prince changed his mind. After all, he'd been pampered compared to the elder. Not to mention he had never let him be hurt. He never would either. Not if he could help it. "I know you aren't. That's why I didn't want to teach you. In the beginning, it , but I didn't have a choice. Once you get used to it, it's not so bad." He shrugged, because he had been fighting since his pre-teen days. He'd wanted to help his dad and then it had become a necessity. "Then remember what I said and I'll help you." Growling, he rolled his eyes. "Nope. My mate and I are sleeping in my bed. You and the pups will have your own." He knew his brother was teasing though. He thought his brother being shy with the shop owner was cute. "Sure. I'll just tell her you're my brother. She won't treat you differently."
Walking over to her, he asked her about candles. He wanted some that smelled good, but weren't too strong. She recommended some and he liked them, so he bought them all making her smile. "Oh and that little one back there hiding? That's my brother Changbin. Any chance you can help me choose a gift for him? He just had a birthday." She looked at the young prince and bowed slightly and smiled. "Sure. I've got just the thing."

@Kim Hyun-Joong Changbin pouted as his brother agreed to teach him, saying that he would get hurt and be sore. He didn't want to be hurt and it didn't sound like it would be easy. "I don't know.. I am am not used to it. I have been hurt before, but that was because I caused it by accident. I don't like being hurt and sore.." As he thought about it more he changed his opinion on wanting to learn to fight. "Rather would have you come and help me. To protect me and keep me safe." He laughed softly and shook his head, joking, "My bed won't have to be bigger, yours will. Maybe we can put them together to make it even better for everyone~!" Listening to what his brother thought, he nodded in agreement. "I'm fine with telling her. Can you tell her for me? I'm a bit shy to do it myself."

@Seo Changbin Hyun Joong sighed. "Fine. I will teach you, but you should know that it won't be easy and you will get hurt. You'll also be sore. So, are you sure you want to do it?" He wouldn't hurt him intentionally, but it came with the territory and he knew how brutal sparing and training could be. He was no stranger to having cuts, bruises and gashes lace his body, but Changbin's skin was unmarked. "Then you change into your wolf and fight and howl for me if you need help. Why would anyone bother you though?" Then again, with what he and Hyungseok were figuring out, he may need to teach his brother to keep him safe. "No you won't. We can get you a bigger bed." The prince thought for a moment. "I mean I would. She won't say anything and it might make her feel safer, but it's your decision." He liked the woman and had secretly begun to consider her as the little sister he'd always wanted.

@Kim Hyun-Joong "That's true, but my natural instincts could be stronger if you would teach me. What if they aren't strong enough? You know sometimes I'm out by myself, what if I were to run into someone really strong or powerful?" Changbin understood why his brother didn't want him to fight, and he also didn't like to see his brother fight, but he also understood that. "If they are going to be sleeping with me, I'll be sleeping on your bed, so it's going to be really crowded~. Better get a bigger bed." He laughed and shrugged when he heard what Hyun-Joong told him next. "I don't know.. I understand that she wouldn't tell anyone, should I tell her?" He kept his voice quiet as he spoke to the other, for only him to hear.

@Seo Changbin Hearing his brother wanted to learn to fight, he frowned. He knew it was a good idea, but he just didn’t like the thought of his brother fighting. “How about you keep using your words and let me worry about the fighting. Besides, if you ever need to protect yourself, you natural wolf instincts will take over.” That’s how he’d first learned. “Good. Then they can sleep with you.” He stuck his tongue out, already imagining what his kids would be like with their uncle. Seeing the pout on the younger’s face, he hid a smile. His brother was just so innocent. “Stop pouting. Hyungseok took care of a couple of them. Besides, we’ll make her feel better, but...” He hesitated for a moment. “Will you tell her who you really are?” When the woman looked up, her eyes filled with recognition and she smiled and bowed. “Of course Your Highness.” With a kind smile, the prince shook his head. “Please, call me Hyun Joong.”

@Kim Hyun-Joong Changbin laughed at the other's expression, watching him roll his eyes and snort. "Hey~~ I may not know how to fight in the same way that you know how to fight, but I can always learn? If you'll teach me. I can fight with my words as well!" He giggled softly and shook his head at his brother's obvious fake reaction. "I can't wait to treat your kids like they are my own children~ I'll love them forever." He made sure that no one else heard what they were talking about because he'd definitely be discovered as Hyun Joong's brother if they heard him. As he was told about the rumors and about her being harassed by some women, he pouted, wishing he could do something to help. "That's not nice of them... Hopefully we can do something nice then." Hearing his brother's words, he smiled to himself, listening to their conversation.

@Seo Changbin Hyun Joong rolled his eyes and snorted. "I can see it already." The idea of his little brother having to fight was comical. Hyun Joong had always fought for him, because he didn't want him to lose the innocence he had. Since he was older and had long ago gotten used the idea of killing or hurting others to protect what he loved, he continued to do so when necessary. "Do you even know how to fight? And yes. That would be very bad. Imagine, all of them wanting to sleep with me at night? How would my mate and I ever be alone again?" He acted as though he was horrified by the idea, but his brother had always been a good kid. He'd just needed to be loved, which the elder had gladly done. Throwing his hands up, he sighed. "I give up." He ruffled the boy's hair playfully as he watched the woman restocking hygiene supplies. "I agree. I've heard rumors and Hyungseok recently told me she's been harassed by some of the women in the other kingdom because of her ex and his family." He smiled and went over to where she was stocking. "Good morning. I was wondering if you could help me. I'm looking for some gifts for my little brother."

Changbin laughed and shook his head as he heard what his older brother was saying about his possible family in the future. "They could easily kick me out, but you won't let that happen. Besides, even if I do get kicked out, I'm not going down without a struggle~" He joked and gently poked at the other's cheek. "It won't be so bad if they end up acting like me. Imagine if there were,more of me, wouldn't it be interesting and fun? I'll love if they sleep beside me and I'll feed them well when I'm around them." All this thinking of the future and of his brother having a family made Changbin really happy. Of course, he was joking around when he said he would go against what his brother wanted. "I'll be the best uncle ever, and they will always want me around, so you'll be dealing with me forever~" He looked over to see the store owner and nodded. "She looks like she would be nice if you get to know her. I think she's just cautious probably. I understand why."

Hyun Joong just laughed. His baby brother could be so adorable at times. The crazy part though was that he rarely made the elder mad. In fact, the only times he'd been mad at Changbin, had been when he had gotten hurt and then he was more mad at himself for not protecting him better. "I mean, they do have a choice. They could easily kick you out." He smirked, although they both knew he wouldn't let that happen. He kept the younger close so he could protect him after all. Throwing his hands up, he sighed. "Oh gracious. They'll end up acting just like you." He shook his head with a grin. "What if they decide they want to sleep with you at nights?" After all, Changbin did it to him. "My kids will be more like me. They won't eat a lot, because they don't want to get fat and I'm still trying to figure out where you put all that food." He laughed, happily knowing his brother still wanted homemade cookies. "I wasn't planning to buy them for you anyway. I want to try them." He smiled when he saw the store owner. "That's her Changie."

@Kim Hyun-Joong Changbin laughed at his brother's response and reaction to him, smiling widely. "Every day, I am lucky that you love me. It's the best to have you as my brother, no matter how much times I say remind you of this." When Hyun Joong said that they wouldn't want to put up with him, Changbin shrugged. "Even if they won't want to put up with me, is it really a choice that they have? They'll have to deal with your annoying little brother every time I'm around~. If you have kids? They'll get all my attention as well! I'll spoil them forever." Changbin's eyes lit up at the thought of pups, loving the idea. He stuck his tongue out playfully as Hyun Joong talked about how much food he ate, "I might be done growing, but my hunger will always stay this way. I love food and I need a lot of it, you know that by now. If you have pups, good luck making all that food for the pups and me included~." He entered the shop and mumbled, "You aren't going to get out of making cookies for me by buying some here."

@Seo Changbin Hyun Joong just scoffed. "Yea. Whatever. Some days you are so lucky I love you." He grinned and chuckled, knowing his brother would never stop bugging him. It had always been a game to them both and he would miss it too if it stopped. But he couldn't let his brother know that. "Yea right. They won't want to put up with you. And what about if I have kids? You realize the pups will get all the attention, right?" He knew Changbin would spoil them too. his teeth, he shook his head. "No I won't. It's been bad enough cooking for you all these years. I mean jeez. When you were a pup and a teen I could understand you eating so much, but now? You're done growing, so there's no way you still need so much food." He poked his brother's belly to . "You won't starve." No, his brother was right. He wouldn't let that happen, but he didn't have to admit it. "Great. Maybe we can find out what kind she likes. I heard she's started selling cookies and brownies in her shop." As they reached the door, he pushed it open for his brother to enter first.

@Kim Hyun-Joong "Hmm, that's true, it is better to bother you about things." Changbin teased the other, laughing and shaking his head. It was the best to be able to be childish with his brother while still taking things seriously when he needed to. "Your husband or wife you say? Well, they should get used to me bothering them as well if they are going to be married with my brother. You'll never get rid of me, I'll always be there like the great brother that I am." He grinned and gave a nod as he asked about his future husband. "If he doesn't want to cook, then I guess you'll be cooking for two, right? You won't let your brother and his husband starve, would you~?" As his hair was ruffled, he giggled softly and puffed his cheeks out. Baking seemed like it would be more fun than cooking, and Changbin would not mind learning if it was to help others out. Cheering up the shop owner sounded like a great idea. "Making a cake for her sounds really nice. I'd love to help out."

@Seo Changbin Hyun Joong laughed and nodded. "You have a point. Oh, so it's better to bother me than for you to be bothered?" He just shook his head with amusement. Both of them could be really childish when they were together, but the elder was more serious normally since he had a responsibility to the kingdom and all of the people who lived in it. "And how do you think my husband or wife will feel about that?" He grinned, knowing he'd never get rid of his brother. "And what if he doesn't want to cook? Then what? You'll come to me for food?" He grinned. This was what he'd missed the last few weeks when he had hardly seen his brother, because he was working too hard. He ruffled the boy's hair. "Of course you are and I think you'd be a good cook. In fact, why don't we make a cake for the shop owner? You can learn to bake and it might cheer her up." He wanted her to know she wasn't alone and that he would be there for her if she needed him.

@Kim Hyun-Joong "That's true, I can still be like that, but it's one of the things about me that makes me who I am~. Besides, if I never find out, I'll be curious forever and it'll bother me." He stuck his tongue out playfully before pouting at the mention of cooking. "Hmm... It will be solved by never having a husband, then you'll have to cook for me for the rest of our lives." He joked with a giggle before continuing, "Well maybe my husband will be the one to cook for us.. I guess I should learn how to cook some things, I want to be somewhat helpful. I'm good at other things though, right? Besides cooking." Changbin smiled and let his brother pull him along to the shop, looking around and speaking softly, "Maybe she does need some love like that. It would probably make her more open like I am."
