@Park Jimin Sometimes, Jungkook felt as if the moon was his only friend. Ever since his mother started locked him up in his chambers at a young age, Jungkook forgot what the world outside looked like and what grass felt like. He spent years trying to reason with his mother, trying to understand her way of thinking and trying to understand her reasons - but he never could. He's a young prince to a kingdom and yet he doesn't even know his people. He doesn't even know /anything/ about this world and what his role is in it. His mother never educated him on that; only kept telling him that all alphas were bad. That they didn't deserve an omega like him, that everyone would abuse him. That the world would hate him.
After quite some time, Jungkook began to think that his mother is ashamed to have an omega son; that if the world found out about him, that she'd be embarrassed.
Jungkook found solace in the peaceful glow of the moon that hung up high in the night sky, surrounded by millions of twinkling stars. He found comfort in the moonlight and in the peace that the night would bring. His brother would always call him the 'moonchild' of the family. But that didn't matter to him - none of it did. He just wanted to explore the world and stop living in secrecy, in shame. However, no one would understand Jungkook's sorrow. No one.
The sudden voice behind him has Jungkook jolting and spinning around almost immediately. His amber eyes land on the captain and he freezes. He didn't recall hearing the door opening after he entered - when did he get in here? Or... maybe he was /already/ in here.
Jungkook swallows as he bobs his head in a small nod then asks, "I am... How much of that did you hear?" in a quiet voice. He presses his back against the wall, unsure of the surroundings and of the man in front of him. Did he mean harm? It sort of looked it with the way the guy was staring at him.
@Jeon Jungkook The Captains Quarters was the nicest space aboard the entire ship. With relatively high ceilings, jewels and spoils glittering randomly along the room, and the finest of stolen furniture... it was startling to come across on a pirate ship. It was the space of a large bedroom. A floor length, white voile curtain separates the main area from his sleeping space-- which is exactly where he stood changing at that moment in time.
Jimin heard their newest addition entering his quarters, though his attention wasn't quite piqued until his ears picked up a gentle voice. This boy... was singing? Jimin held a firm adoration for beautiful voices and without a doubt this kidnapped sported one. Slipping his arms into his shirt, he steps out from behind the curtain, gaze cautiously landing on the boys back as he sits perched against the windowsill.
That feeling from earlier... was it some sort of magic? Perhaps this stranger had some kind of disease or curse, or maybe it had something to do with it being the first time he has ever come into contact with an omega. Either way, it had the captain on edge. He did not like surprises just as much as he hated feeling less intelligent than another Planting a scowl upon plush tiers, Jimin speaks up. "So an Omega, hm?"
@Park Jimin Living life as an omega was rather interesting, to say the least. A lot of omegas were looked down upon by society and stomped all over by alphas. They were treated poorly. So poorly that Jungkook's mother kept Jungkook hidden away in the castle ever since he presented at a young age, far younger than normal. Instead of giving him up or casting him out, she sheltered him from the cruel world that lurks outside. Never once has Jungkook been able to leave the safety of his castle, not even to venture out and look at the garden. It took him 6 months of consistent nagging for his mother to relent and finally let Jungkook leave castle.
Her one mistake was to not assign him any guards.
It's as if Jungkook was exploring a whole new world. He was the young prince of a kingdom that was locked away only to now be able to taste his first bite of freedom. Jungkook spent all day exploring his kingdom in complete glee; a child-like curiosity glowing in his amber eyes. Jungkook went and spoke with the commoners, even some peasants, and happily fed some of their pigs some bread. He even explore the marketplace and, man, he could spent hours there. There were so many stalls, so many merchants, all different kinds of things people were selling. And so, so, so many people all around him.
Jungkook was eyeing a beautiful amber teardrop necklace when the shopkeeper came up to him. Even after years of being sheltered away from society, she seemed to know exactly who he was; there were barely any omegas in the kingdom after all so his sweeter scent was an obvious giveaway. The pair spent at least seven minutes bantering back and forth politely before Jungkook finally relented, letting the woman put the necklace on him as a gift. The color of the pendant matched his eyes after al and it suited him.
The sun had set by the time Jungkook decided that he should probably head back to his chambers. He finishes the mango smoothie he had ordered from a stall and places it in one of the trashbins nearby before making his way towards the castle. It didn't take Jungkook long for him to figure out he was being followed by 3 men. Now nervous, Jungkook walked faster but they had caught up the second they knew he realized; their hands grabbing at him and covering his mouth so he doesn't scream or make a noise. There's a knife pressed threateningly to his throat and he's quick to take the hint of being silent. He obediently lets them tug him along to wherever he was being taken. How did none of the Kingdom guards notice him getting dragged out? He must've been seen by now.
The anxiety only grows when they leave the Kingdom gate, walking up towards the dock were a gigantic ship awaited. Jungkook's eyes widened and it all finally clicked. Pirates. Great. He was dealing with pirates. The first day his mother granted him freedom and now he's in /this/ mess. The next thing Jungkook knows, he's being stared at. Intensely. By a giant crew of pirates and someone, who obviously appears to be the captain, is insulting him. Jungkook frowns and looks down at himself- he's a fit man, what could this stranger mean by that? He's about to open his mouth and say something when the man suddenly touches him. Jungkook gasps, jolting at the sudden electric and intense feeling that shoots through his body. What he could only describe as wildfire leaking up his veins and flaring in his chest as it spread through to his very core. Jungkook was so stunned that he didn't even move when the men holding him began moving. Only when he felt a sharp edge of a knife against his neck did he move with a start. He's dragged into the captain's chambers and shoved inside. The door slams behind him and now he's just standing there, alone. Jungkook spots a window and slowly walks over to it, leaning against the windowsill as he admires the beauty of the crescent moon hanging up in the sky; starts glittering and shimmering all around it. He closes his eyes and begins to sing to himself, for sure thinking that he was alone.
Jimin stood at the helm of his ship, leaning against the wooden railing, a relaxed expression on his tanned face. The sound of a proud voice singing below deck lulls alongside the sweet rocking of the boat, the singer accompanied by the methodical tapping of the Captain’s boot against the deck. Wind rustles through the risen sails, tousling the jet black hair atop the man's head playfully as he hums along to the tune being sung deep within the ship. “Leave her Johnny, leave her.. Oh leave her Johnny leave her~” The tapping seems to come to a periodic halt all at once. Silence fills the air as whomever was singing stops as well-- a pregnant pause interrupted by the sounds of the sea… and of laughing, jeering men.
A flash of teeth and the Captain spins on heel, making his way down from his deck and towards the main part of the ship where he could view the shadows of his men illuminated by torchlight. It had been one day and a half since he sent his men out to raid the Kingdom of Wolves, expectant and highly joyful, Jimin awaits their arrival onto the ship. He lowers the ladders and watches as they make their way onto the main deck-- however they seemed to be missing something quite important. His demeanor seemed to have changed in mere milliseconds, going from a clearly jolly mood to an icy stare without any hesitation.
“Who would like to explain to me as to why you have returned with nothing?!” His voice was a rough, gravelled bark, a palm shifting to rest upon the hilt of his scabbard. In his mind, he counted down from three before he was smoothly drawing the jet black sword, reaching forward in that same movement and yanking a random pirate down to the wooden deck floor. The tip of his sword presses menacingly into the young teens throat, eyes trained on the frantic face beneath his boot heel as he spits out another command. “Where are my spoils? Where is my gold, my diamonds, my riches? Why have you all dared to return with so little as this!?”
His wrath was clearly reaching the point where he almost misses the timid response from the very pirate he was accosting. “But Captain-- we did bring something far more valuable.” Jimin would snap out a low laugh, turning with a wide gesture of his arm to the crowded pirates on board, about to bellow out his shortcomings when… he spots him. A single man in the center of his men, clean cut, and dressed in the finest of silks and jewels. He held a glare that could only be rivaled by Jimin himself. A soft hush runs across the crowd as the Captain withdraws his sword, sheathing it while crossing the deck towards said valuable.
“This? Is this what is supposed to be worth my time? He is just a boy! For you to bring him among us.. What am I to do with him other than use him for a single night?” A scowl was slowly growing upon the Captain’s lips, eyes roaming over each feature this man held for him to see- unashamed of the obvious looking. “He is hardly enough to be used even for fish bait.” Jimin would click his tongue, fingers darting out to grasp hold of the boys wrist-- only to immediately release him.
It was as though wildfire was spreading throughout his veins, lighting up each capillary, each vessel, leading straight to his heart and stemming from the point of contact with this boy. Shock consumes him, and then a wave of possession, anger, and confusion. “...Take him to my quarters. You all shall return to the Kingdom tonight-- this time you are not to return without spoils. Now get out of my sight.” Pressing his hand to his side, Jimin turns and stalks towards his quarters, eyebrows furrowed in disturbance.
