Chance lives in a suburb of the city with his parents. He and his dad are often found working on cars in the separate garage behind their house.

@Chance Kyler pulled back out of slight surprise that he had found his boyfriend's lips. With flushed cheeks he leans back in and kissed the other again.

@Kyler Chance quickly turned over to face the other so he could wrap his arms around him. "Shh, I missed you too," he whispered. "A whole lot. And it's okay, you know I always worry about you. You're guilty of the same thing," he pointed out, smiling slightly.

@Chance His finger's curled into Chance's shirt, clinging to the fabric. He loved him so much, even if he was ridiculous. "I'm sorry. I'm not meaning to make you worry." He muttered the other's name, soft cry out to his boyfriend. "I missed you." He whispered and then said his name again and again.

@Kyler Chance opened his eyes, focus set on the wall just in front of him. "I worry about you more because of that," he whispered. "I know you, Kyler."

@Chance Kyler lay down, his arm gently draping over Chance. "I know. I just...I don't want you to worry about me too much." He whispered, burying his face between chance's shoulder blades. His eyes stung with tears, not necessarily the good or bad kind.

@Kyler "You know she's right," Chance murmured, remaining still as if he hadn't spoken at all. "You should take that to heart. You don't have to do everything on your own," he whispered.

@Chance Kyler smiled gratefully at her. "Thanks." He said softly. He watched Chance sleep for a bit, stroking his hair or face or arm. He leaned down, pressing a soft kiss behind his ear, wondering if he'd wake up.

@Kyler She let a gentle silence fall between them as she watched Chance in his sleep. "You know if you every need anything to just ask, right?" It was a question she asked often, and Kyler always responded the same. "Don't be a stranger," she added with a warm smile before whispering a good night and leaving the two of them alone in the room again.

@Chance "Yeah. But I can't complain, at least I'm making enough money." He frowned down at his boyfriend, gently running fingers through his mopey hair. "I miss you guys too, it gets lonely."

@Kyler She just smiled in that knowing yet unassuming way and nodded. "He gets ridiculous, especially since he's missed you lately. We all have actually, you haven't been around much the past few weeks," she said. "Have they been overworking you?"

@Chance Kyler pursed his lips, tilting his head. "He wouldn't worry me like that over something so minuscule." She looked bakc up at the woman, blinking innocently. "Would he?"

@Kyler "Oh, well that sounds exactly like him," she muttered, punctuated by a sigh. "Feels like his fever is gone at least. Honestly, I think he just wanted to see you," she said in a whisper, as if divulging a secret.

@Chance "I guess. I don't know. He didn't say much, he was kind of moping around and being clingy." Kyler admitted with a shy yawn.

@Kyler Chance fended off the wake up call by mumbling something incoherent and burrowing his face further between Kyler and his pillow.
"Has he been doing any better?" His mother quietly asked, silently stepping into the room to press a cool hand to his head.

@Chance Kyler stirred from the knock on Chance's bedroom door. He couldn't help but flush as Mrs. Watcher peers into the bedroom, and he shook Chance awake.

@Chance "You're so silly.' He whispered, sweeping messy hair out of Chance's face. He complied, nestling up against his boyfriend, dozing off eventually.

@Chance "You don't need anything else? Medicine? Cold rag?" He asked hesitantly as he settled himself against the other.

@Kyler Chance could at least lean up on his forearms to take a drink. He downed about half the glass before taking it from Kyler and setting it aside.
"Can you lay down with me please?" He asked, lying back down on his back and fixing his gaze on Kyler.

@Chance Kyler frowned, peeking up immediately. "I'll be right back." He scrambled off the bed and to the kitchen and don't come back until he had a glass of ice water. He sat back on the bed, on Chance's side. "Here." He said softly, sticking a straw in the glass and putting it to his boyfriend's lips. Poor Kyler, he was so gullible and completely in love.

@Kyler He was still quite warm, but it didn't help that it was fairly hot in his room. He was just coming out of the sickness, still a little achy, but feeling fine enough to get up and walk around the house like a normal fully functional human being.
But Chance didn't feel like acting like a normal fully functional human being, so he groaned a little and mumbled something incoherent followed by the word "water."

@Chance "Your soup is cold now!" He pouted, leaning forward. "Do you still have a fever?" He pressed his forehead to Chance's neck, fingers still sweeping through his hair.

@Kyler "I'm great," he answered with a smile half hidden by his pillow. "Just keep doing that to my hair," he added, closing his eyes.
