@zhang yixing ❜ ˡᵃʸ Her mind raced with different thoughts of what she might say when he arrived--perhaps a playful quip about his tardiness would suffice, but he decided against it; she did not want to immediately come off as confrontational. This re-connection was meant to be just that: a time to reinvigorate what once was. Swallowing her pride, she cleared her thought as he approached and continued swirling her wine--though his endearing choice of action left her caught off guard. "Surprised? Why is that?" She inquired, tilting her head to one side as she inspected his frame in the dim lighting of the restaurant. Her inspection was shameless as she scrutinized each aspect of his silhouette, trying to piece back together the man she once knew before he began cutting ties with the SM company family. Though their past was brief, it was enriching and heated; what were only brief exchanges felt like years of getting to know him, but the man that sat across from her had a different aura. It was as if she didn't even know him anymore.
@park sunyoung ❜ ˡᵘⁿᵃ Something about coming back to Korea still didn't sit right with Yixing since being asked to move out of the Exo dorms; after all, the man rarely took part of the group's activities anymore, though the emptiness of his flat without any of his brothers around had more impact on Yixing than he'd like to admit. And as if that wasn't enough to deal with, the male was once again faced with a dilemma after being contacted by Sunyoung, old flame with whom he rarely got the occasion to relink while carrying with his career in China. The girl which was a couple years his senior seemed to want to reestablish contact, and while he was still rather reluctant in doing so, Victoria managed to convince him otherwise.
So there he was, body clad in an expensive jet black suit, making his way inside the restaurant in which the woman had been waiting for him. It would be a lie to deny how anxious he was; the two didn't particularly end on bad terms yet wanting to mend things after all these years seemed rather odd to him. " Good evening, sorry I'm late. Traffic was terrible on the way here " he leaned down as to press a soft kiss on her cheek, the familiar perfume lingering in the air calling to mind the many memories these two shared together. " I have to say that I was rather surprised you wanted us to meet up, honestly.." Yixing stated, not being one to hold his words back, as he settled down on the seat facing her.
@zhang yixing ❜ ˡᵃʸ As she's welcomed by the waiter, she tucks a strand of hair behind her ear and is shown to her seat. Leaning back in her seat, she crossed one leg over the other and swirled a glass of wine by the stem between two digits. She'd be lying if she said that she didn't come here with an agenda. She aimed to reconnect over dinner, but perhaps there were some deeper-rooted ulterior motives that were selfish nature. Regardless, the main priority was to reestablish familiarity. The pair had drifted over time--the only lasting connection the pair shared took the form of her former band-mate, Victoria.
Taking in a deep inhale, she pushed away the thoughts of her past and took a sip of the sanguine liquid. Her irises examined the glass' contents with scrutiny-- it was expensive, yet not bank-breaking. It was classy, like herself, she thought. Setting the drink down, she inspected her phone for any update on the male's whereabouts. With a distinct lack of notification, she was left to anxiously anticipate his arrival.
