@kang taehyun ❜ ᵇᵃᵇᶦᵉ he had watched it all happen. the ball soaring through the air, landing on the kid’s head — at least, he assumed it was a kid — the ice cream getting flung aside so carelessly... changbin felt his face heat up with embarrassment, rounded cheek a bright red when he finally came to the boy’s side. “i’m so, so sorry. are you okay? oh god, wait, don’t move, what if you have a concussion?” he mumbled some more to himself, more like trying to figure out how to tell if someone was having a concussion. after squatting down, he hesitated, glancing over the boy’s features. “i-i can buy you another ice cream? oh god, i can buy you whatever you want, really! good job, changbin, you totally messed it up.” in the midst of his excitement, he didnt even realize that they person he may have hurt was potentially someone he knew, even in passing.
@seo changbin ❜ The beach excursion was meant to alleviate the stress of the idol life. The rays of sunlight were particular oppressive that day, and the distinct lack of a hat or sunglasses made it particularly unbearable; however, when a sudden shadow graced his features, he was grateful momentarily until said shadow was quickly replaced with leather. The ball knocked him to the ground, and his ice cream flew out of his hand and onto some unsuspecting child. His consciousness quickly faded and reawakened upon initial impact--almost as though he blinked with his entire mental being. Left on the ground, the sand felt warm and abrasive underneath him. Had his position not been caused by a foreign objecting literally knocking off of his feet, it might have felt nice. The unfamiliar voice was all that he could focus on as he tried to regain his composure. "Wha-..." His irises roamed and attempted to make sense of the world once more.
@kang taehyun ❜ ᵇᵃᵇᶦᵉ sleeves rolled up over his shoulders, sunglasses perched on the bridge of his nose, changbin was gearing up to hit the ball back over the net, watching as it came his way. one hand balled into a fist, thumb tucked into his palm while the other hand came over his fist ready to bop it back up in the air. but something happened between his thoughts and actions, because when the boy went to hit it back over the net, the placement of his hand and how the ball hit his knuckles caused the ball to go sailing backwards. changbin quickly turned to watch it fly in the air, only to watch it fall, and time seemed to slow. he watched the ball fall right down onto someone's face, the collision causing whoever it was to fall. he stood, frozen, before running through the sand, apologies leaving his lips before he really even got close enough. "oh my god, i'm so sorry! are you okay? oh god i hope i didn't hurt you too bad-- i didn't mean to!"
