After walking endlessly for sometime, he found himself at the doors of the movie theater. When did I get here? He thought, looking up at the big sign that showed the featured film of that night. He wasn’t sure what lead him there as he was simply walking aimlessly earlier, a lot of things going through his head that he can’t even begin to explain. With a small frown, he went the other way instead and walked to the theatre’s almost empty parking lot, resting himself against a pole of light while his hand reached inside his jacket’s pocket. He pulled out a box of cigarettes but without a lighter. It’s been years since he last smoked but he has a habit of having a pack with him. He took one from the box and placed it between his lips as his thoughts drifted into nothing, his eyes castes down on the concrete ground.
Since none of the clothes she had picked ever fit her snuggly, there would be quite a bit of time until dinner time and she decided to catch a movie. Of course there was this latest movie from DC, Birds of Prey and she had to watch it after having read contrasting reviews regarding it. She had to walk a little down the street to go to the next mall where the biggest movie theater was at and had to take a lift all the way up to the top level and escaped from it, walking up to a self-service machine and tapped on the poster of the said movie, selecting the nearest possible timing & the seat and paid for it by card. Soon enough, she received a slip of paper that indicated the hall number, seat number and the movie timing. Next she walked to the snacks counter and bought a popcorn combo of mixed-flavors popcorn and a huge cup of cola to accompany with. There was this number board up at the entrance towards all the halls and a number 5 was flashing. Well, of course, that was the hall that was printed on that paper and Yoorim speed-walked over, showing her paper and hurried to get to her seat to get all comfy and ready. The screen lit up and advertisements played. It could also be an indicament that the movie was starting.
