@✦ Kris Mmmm... I suppose that's true... *humming softly, looking back at you and your crazy umbrella* You shouldn't... Unless the weather suddenly changes again. *looking at the book, humming softly* They are supposed to be genertically engineered super soldiers... But... They escaped... And are now on the run... And the worst part... They're only kids... Though... I think the oldest two are either 18 or 19?
@✧ Chan Truly you never know when and how the wind will hit the water making it rain on your from any direction *laughing as I want you observe the sky tilling my head in thought* let’s hope I don’t get caught in a rain shower today *listening I lean on my umbrella* So they are experiments that went wrong? Or did they get created to fight wars? Like genetically engineered super soldiers
@✦ Kris *shakes my head a bit, smiling* It's really weird... *looking up at the sky, humming softly* It is pretty crazy. Isn't it? It could come flying at you from any direction... Rain... Snow... Anything could happen, really.*looking back at the book* Mmm.. Bascially... It's about a group of people who were experimented on... So they have wings and other types of abilities...
@✧ Chan *laughing I lift up the umbrella I brought looking at it* You are right it looks like some alien thing but that makes it’s charm *looking up at the sky with a nods then shrugging* The weather can change any second some time it’s clear and suddenly the water comes down like crazy *looking at the book to read the title nodding my head* Oh I haven’t read it jet what’s the synopsis? I think I could find it interesting
(Sorry for taking forever I had a big slump in muse the last week but don’t worry it is back and I will reply faster again)
@✦ Kris *nodding a bit, closing my book after marking the page* It does... Or some weird... Alien thing... *forcing back my laugh when you mention the weather* 'I am the weather. At least the rain.' *humming softly, looking at the book for a second* I suppose that's true... But the sky is clear. Isn't it? *nodding a bit*
It's a good book. I'm not that far in yet. But it's better than the last one.
@✧ Chan *laughing I look down at the umbrella turning it around a little before nodding* you are right I never thought of it that way but it does look a little like that *shrugging I lift it up and place it on my shoulder* Well you never know what weather you might encounter out here so I thought I would better be ready but back to a more interesting topic *stepping closer to read the title of the book* interesting, interesting what do you think off it so far?
@✦ Kris Thanks for that... *watching you walk off*
--
*gripping my book slightly at the sound of your voice, forcing a smile onto my lips* Hi. Yes. I did finish it. *looking at the umbrella you're swinging and staring at it* What... In the world is that thing? It looks like an elephant with too many trunks.
@✧ Chan My advice: be bold in all matters of the heart *laughing as I walk of still swinging the umbrella*
~~
*a few days later again at the same bridge as I spot the same figure again walking closer with a bright smile* Hello again. Did you finish the book you were reading last time? *swinging a different umbrella then last time this one being slightly bigger and having tubes coming out I lean against the bridge looking at you*
@✦ Seungyoun /i was always told that i'm rather an extraordinary individual who doesn't like to follow paths crossed by many previously. and i often found myself agreeing on that, words of praise are those things which everyone likes and needs to hear from time to time for the sake of inner peace, including myself. that's why no one is very surprised to see me with a backpack on my shoulders walking towards the unknown in the form of malum. there's no way i'm going to sit around when i'm amongst those few allowed to cross the enchanted river and explore the other side of the world. deep inside, i've always been curious about it, more or less tempted by the city shrouded in mystery. and today is the day when i feed my curiosity. i cross the gate of euphoria and with the enthusiasm of a traveller, i go ahead, slowly walking further and further away from the glow of wealthy living. it's somehow gloomy in here, as if birds sang differently even though no one's stopping them from flying above heads of euphorian citizens. it's at least very intriguing, interesting, even appealing in many ways. i look around, admiring the wild nature from the distance. the distance gradually shortens, until my feet bring me to a bridge, very broken and seemingly unable to carry the weight of a small animal/
@✦ Kris No... I don't really know what to do... Every time I go to do something about it... I can't keep myself together... I can hardly talk to him without nearly breaking down... *giving you a small shrug in response, trying to to smile when the water soaks you* It is very odd weather... Isn't it? I didn't feel a thing... *giving your a slight salute* Until next time.
@✧ Chan Oh, that must be difficult have you tried to maybe use some psychological tactics to make him remember? *looking up at my umbrella when you seem to notice it* one should always be prepared you don’t know when you get caught in a sudden rain *huffing when suddenly even with the umbrella am soaking wet shaking my head to get the water out of my hair. I knew the umbrella alone wouldn’t work but at least now I have a place to start with a soft smile I get up giving you a salute* Look at me now I’m all soaking wet what strange weather today I really should head home to get a dry set of cloth *with that I turn to leave before stopping and turning back to you with a mischievous but bright smile* We will meet again and I hope the weather will be more inclined to our meeting next time
()wane skip a few weeks to their next meeting when Kris tries his next water preventions machine?
@✦ Kris My thoughts are... It's all about my brother... And how to get him to remember everything... Well... Maybe no everything... *lets out a soft huff when I noticed your umbrella* Extremely strange weather. Isn't it? *drumming my fingers on my arm, rolling my eyes, the water rolling right off of me, hoping you didn't notice that, using my hidden hand and flicking my fingers, sending a stream of water flying at the back of your head as you look at me from under your umbrella*
@✧ Chan *smiling at you all nice and sweet as I see you get more irritated at what I’m saying but the again you look rather calm and collected over it* I’m sure they are most people think they thoughts are important and I would agree *still smiling when suddenly I get hit by rain quickly opening my umbrella I only get his by some a few drops still wet but lucky not drenched but I can see its not that effective* What strange weather we have today? *looking up at the sky from under the umbrella and then at you still completely dry with a fake confused expression*
@✦ Kris *rolls my eyes slightly as you raise up your hands* Mhmm... I'm sure you didn't. I'm... Not offended... *trying to mask my annoyance with a smile* Right... Well... My thoughts are a bit more important than the book... *nodding a little bit, still unsure of whether you're genuine or not, deciding I frankly didn't care, clenching my fist and watching water rain down on you out of nowhere, knowing you wouldn't be expecting it with my calm demeanor*
@✧ Chan *smiling I hold up my hand as if in defeat* I'm sorry I didn't mean any offence by this *shrugging I look back up* well having to many thought can be difficult especially since sometimes they can just take over and not let you do anything import I hope you can clear your head so you can return you focus on the complex and interesting twists if the book *sighing softly since it didn't disrupt your calm demeanour at all though I do get a feeling that the rudeness did get a little under your skin there*
@✦ Kris I have so many other things on my mind... I've read the same page twelve times now... *giving you a small shrug* I do /not/ have any issues with following the complexity of a book. Including this one. *feeling slightly annoyed but not anything major, narrowing my eyes at you slightly*
@✧ Chan Oh? *leaning back I look a little confused and delighted* you think its difficult to read why is that? I though it was s reather delightful read with all its corners and twists *sighing a little* well it's not something for everyone I get it some might have trouble following with the complexity and depth of some of the criticism that is hidden in the deeper layers. *nodding skillful I lean back a little smugly*
@✦ Kris *watches you walk closer before sitting beside me, holding my arms in my lap, humming softly* Ah... I see... Well... I'm not sure I'm going to read anything like this anytime soon after I finish. *shaking my head a little bit, setting the book down beside me* Besides. It's hard to focus on something like this.
@✧ Chan *walking closer as you seem to get interested sitting down next to you as I lean on my umbrella head tilled listening to your words about the book while trying to think of something to say* I don't remember the title but it was really similar to this in not by context but by how it criticized some things * turning to look at you trying to change the topic to a more controversial one hoping to get you to revile any kind of mindset or idea that would make you get annoyed or angry*
@✦ Kris *staring at you for a moment* It's pretty good. Not the best book I've ever read. But it's got my interest peaked right now. *giving you a small smile, pushing my white-ish blonde hair out of my face, not wanting to be rude by reading again* Really? Do tell. What book?
@✧ Chan *nodding in contempt as I till my head* then let me ask you how do you like the book so far? I though it was really interesting *smiling brightly showing real interest as I try to figure out your character and what would make you get annoyed as alexia need of you I a big splash of water but asking would be no fun.* oh I recently read an other book that would be interesting if you enjoy the current one.
@✦ Kris *sitting quietly a few feet from the bridge, reading my book in peace, until a sickeningly sweet voice reaches my ears, causing me to look up* Umm... Hi there. Nice to meet you too... *your voice causing a bit of conflict in my head, unsure of whether you're being genuine or not* Oh? Really? No... I'd rather you not spoil the book for me. Thank you for the offer though.
@✧ Chan *grinning mischievous as I spot the silhouette of a figure on the bridge with a book, just the person I was looking for. Walking closer with nothing but mischievous and ill intend in my eyes and expression swinging my umbrella in one hand* Hey there, nice to meet you. *voice dripping with honey and fake interest as I step closer leaning against the bridge with a smug smile* How is the book? I think I read it before you wane know how it ends? *leaning in to look at the title of the book with a shrug settling back against the part of the bridge I was leaning against before*
