OLYMPUS

Olympus (Όλυμπος in Ancient Greek) is the home of the Olympian gods. This is where you'll mostly see the gods communication with each other.

But, no half-blood can step foot on this land, except if you are lucky enough to be invited by one of the gods, if they think you're deserving enough.

It is every demigods' dream to even at least get a glimpse of Olympus.

@✹ APOLLO "Where do you intend to go with this, Apollo?" Athena chuckled. "Even I, the goddess of wisdom and battle strategy, am not concern of war for now. Dangers have ebbed. And our children made sure of that."

Athena's gray eyes swirled. Contrary to what she said, any danger /may/ occur. Any loose ends must be dealt with. Any territory must be watched over.

"Do you think we should discuss this? Eliminate all possibilities of hostility?" Athena's lips closed to a thin line. "We may not interfere with mortal problems, but discussing is not within those bounds."

@✹ ATHENA / MINERVA "Possibilities, Athena. Possibilities..." The sun god said softly just as the owl came back, landing smoothly by the window.

Indeed, none of Athena's children was the problem. The problem... or /his/ problem was that with every choices mortals made, a new future is in the making. Apollo is the patron god of prophecies, but even if prophecies never lies, the interpretation does.

"Perhaps I should let you see, rather than that..."

With a wave of his hand, he showed her the camp's beach. It would've been mundane had a human saw it; merely two people talking to each other by the side of the beach. But the Big Three had always been in a war with each other, one way or another, and when one gets too strong, one tends to underestimate a lot of things.

"There's no traitor, Athena, but I see danger."

@✹ APOLLO [SLR!! OTL. Gods, the Olympians' lives are boring. we should smite some children. LOL hahaha jk]
✹ ATHENA / MINERVA 9 years ago
@✹ APOLLO "Oh? Something within the borders of the camp?" Athena raised an eyebrow. "Have they been infiltrated by a traitor?" Athena did not like the odds of Apollo one step ahead of her. But she put the camp before her own concern. If the demigods turn on one another, then the war was for nothing. It would overturn what her children died for. "What bothers the god of prophecies?"

She stood, Aegis draping her shoulders. Her owl came back and landed by the window. Athena made her way to the window, almost gliding due to anxiety. She tore the letter open. Her shoulders eased when it said nothing urgent. "It seems nothing is wrong. My children are doing fine. Some busy, some tired. Fine, nonetheless." She burned the letters and fed it to the owl. "Fetch me more letters. There must be more."

Athena strode back to her throne. "Care to share information, Apollo?" (

@✹ ATHENA / MINERVA Momentarily distracted, Apollo went silent, watching the owl fly away. He knew where it was headed, of course. Athena's mind wasn't readable, but he could do the owl's. And it seemed that all of them weren't really free from the guilt of actually caring for their demigod children. Only that he was less obvious about it was all. He was only a passive observer, after all. For the time being.

"No," he answered, his golden armor shimmering as he turned towards Athena, slowly. "This isn't about my Oracle. It is just that... something inside those boundaries bothered me."

Shining gold met stormy gray as their eyes met, the eyes of ones that had seen thousands of years. Two immortals, the eye and the mind. Athena was a reliable ally for Apollo, and he for her.

"If you know what I mean, the water is rising."
✹ ATHENA / MINERVA 9 years ago
@✹ APOLLO Athena caressed the owl on the arm rest of her silver throne. It cooed before flying off to fetched her camp letters no doubt. It had been a while since war was over, since her children and other demigods have fought for their patrons. The letters were merely precautions. She can't have her children working against her or her fellow immortals. Athena learned from others' mistakes. That made her wise.

Athena was a goddess of strategy. It was well-known that the goddess could think on her feet. She only needed a few seconds to solve any given problem. Her children were the same. Their brains worked while their mouths talk. They were simply geniuses. They shine with intellect. And it is in her best interest that her children remain that way.

Athena glanced at Apollo, her stormy gray eyes flickering. "I have not, Apollo." She maintained her regal posture while shifting to face the Sun god. "Is there a reason we should be?" She asked in curiosity. She kept all grounds covered, constantly thinking and weighing decisions so naturally she was a bit paranoid as well.

"Is there trouble? Has your oracle told another prophecy?" Athena asked calmly yet with a hint of urgency.

@✹ ATHENA / MINERVA 'You can read aura now?'

Apollo stirred from his golden throne in the hall of Olympus. It was a vision, merely a vision. Nothing escapes the eye of the god of truth, and yes, he could see past the magic barrier of Camp Half-Blood, even past those little stunts the children of Poseidon were performing at the beach. Seriously, are wolves becoming a trend for pets nowadays? As weird as a demigod could get, really, he couldn't even imagine what Lupa would've said about it.

May they not incur her wrath, for that matter.

Sitting with his leg crossing on the other, the sun god lazily shifted on his seat before standing up, taking a deep breath. It's been years since he stepped into Camp Half-Blood, although his eyes never strayed from the boundaries.

A son of Zeus and a son of Aphrodite, challenging the coldness of the lake. Interesting. And there's the other pair, falling short of romance... the Roman son of Jupiter, this time. Something great awaits them.

"Tell me, Athena," he said with a honey-laced voice, addressing the mentioned goddess of wisdom who sat on her throne by his side. "Have you been to the camp lately?"
✹ NEMESIS 11 years ago
@♦ Artemis / Diana [I am sorry, Artemis. Both Apollo and I already shifted out part of the scene to the empire state building. But for continuity's sake, I'll just reply a closer for this, if you don't mind.]

There was another party who would join in to the discussion. Nemesis did not see this coming. But more than ever, she knew she cannot risk the knowledge, the facts... the truth of the future.

What she knows and what she holds is only for Apollo - the one who sees the future - to know. It was something that as a deity and as a mother, Nemesis would have to limit to him. She cannot risk a squabble of the gods with what she knew her child was planning to do.

And so with utmost respect, she just bowed her head towards the goddess - the one who goes by Artemis - and said.

"It is something of utmost importance to me, but something I must keep a secret to I and and your brother. We will take our leave now."

And with a look at Apollo, she nodded and let herself be engulfed by a pixelated black and white ring of light and color that encircled her whole frame.

It was time to return to the form she had left behind for all those years. Her human form.
✹ ARTEMIS / DIANA 11 years ago
@♦ Nemesis [SH] Artemis interrupted the conversation of her brother and Nemesis. "What's wrong you two?" she asked curiously.

fOR some reason she saw how worrisome Nemesis was. She couldnt resist the temptation of being too curious.

"I need answers!" she repeated. "What choices? Whats happening?"
✹ NEMESIS 11 years ago
Through it all, Nemesis kept her silence, for that was what she knew she was supposed to do. She cannot give anything away, not now, not ever.

What she was about to do is something that even the other gods should not know. She knew that whatever choice she might make, Apollo would know of it, in just a look, he would see through her. And so, to at least offset whatever that could happen, she would need his help.

Because at the end of it all, those three quest-takers won't be the only ones in the balance. One soul is capable of outweighing them all.

For quite an unexpected reason, Nemesis felt a bit grateful because Apollo had immediately tended to her troubles, he set her as a priority - not a lot of people in Olympus do. Not really a lot of people in general do - she was just a minority everywhere she is - and he immediately asked for excuse to leave.

Civility, Nemesis, you are fair, so give them the bidding they deserve.

"I myself would ask for excuse. We would, hopefully, be just a moment or two."

And when she turned to Apollo, she breathed deeply and nodded. "Alright."
✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
"Ah. I'm sure no one would mind." Apollo nodded, and the moment he met Nemesis' eyes, he understood.

Of course. He knew, the moment it was decided.

The sun god inhaled deeply.

"Well then, brother, if you would excuse me..." He grinned at his brother, seemingly unfazed, before turning to Hermes with a smile and nodded his excuse.

Then, he looked back at the goddess. "I think we should not delay this further, Nemesis. Come on."
✹ NEMESIS 11 years ago
Nemesis really was not someone who gives a smile out so easily. The most she could do was give what seems to be the closest approximation for a smirk or a sneer, or if lucky, a grin. But by Ares's words, the deity could not help the ends of to curl up just a little in amusement.

Of course, it was expected that the gods and goddesses are now beginning to show up, simply because what was currently happening at camp is something that would be involving a lot of them - may they be the parents of the demi-deities taking the quest, or simply because they wanted to see how things work out.

Listening passively - though she couldn't help but gradually pay attention - she could make out the conversation of Apollo and Ares - ah, the parents of the /real/ quest-takers - and she couldn't help but breathe deeply at this.

Oh, if they only /really knew/ the things their children would go through...

But then again, Apollo most probably know. He is the god of prophecy and prediction after all. He would most probably know already how all of these things work out. But that means he would also see what she saw, and he would know that Ai---

"My sudden entrance, Apollo." She calmly answered back while nodding her head in acknowledgement because the mentioned god had just asked her a question.

But then, she looked straight at Apollo's eyes, her gaze only saying one thing.

'You know, don't you?'

"By the way, may I be able to talk to you privately later on? This is a matter of much importance to me."

✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
"Well, I am more concerned about the future." Apollo said, flashing a smile to his half-brother. "Your son shall prevail, Ares. You know that. And..." he turned to look at the goddess of balance who had just entered Olympus, "No one would mind what, Nemesis?"

He chuckled at Ares and Hermes' banter, only giving a knowing grin to the latter god. The so-called George and Martha was originally his, and of course he had grown accustomed to ignoring the banter of the two snakes curling the caduceus.

"Yes. The quest..."

Shaking his head, he let out a soft sigh with no further explanation.
✹ ARES / MARS 11 years ago
Ares chuckled slightly, "Yes. I can see that. Yongguk still living in his past somehow. That scares me." Ares told Apollo. He looked behind the God of Sun, revealing Nemesis walked inside the hall. But she stepped inside with the most silent steps he ever heard in his entire life. Maybe she's in her own thoughts, Ares said to his mind.

Then another God, Hermes arrived at the hall. Ares opened his arms wide, and sighed quickly. "Finally. Finally!" Then he dropped his arms again to his sides. "The Gods and Goddesses are now popping out from their hiding places." He mumbled. "No, you're not missing anything, Hermes." He said, fixing his blue blazer. "Actually we're just talking about the quest that the Greeks are taking right now."
✹ HERMES / MERCURY 11 years ago
It seemed as Hermes has arrived late – or so he thought so, since the moment he stepped into the throne room, the other deities were already present. Ignoring George and Martha’s ramblings as he walked to his own throne, he smiled crookedly.

“Am I missing anything?” he chuckled.
✹ NEMESIS 11 years ago
The sound of the doors opening and a few hushed steps inside the room, the hem of her long toga touching the ground, signaled the silent entrance of the goddess of Justice. Her eyes were downcast and her expression was pensive, brooding... thoughtful.

"I hope no one would mind..." She murmured, her thoughts honestly anchored on no more than thoughts of the future. It wasn't only the god of light that could see the future, after all. She can see them, although, it always comes at a price. Fairness if fairness, after all.

And what she saw disturbed her greatly. But she can only breathe deeply once and try to appear as calm and composed as possible. Balance is balance too, after all.
✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
@♦ Ares / Mars [SH] "Hmm." Apollo nodded, sighing slightly as he leaned his back on another pillar, facing his half-brother. "We all are, Ares."

He was troubled himself, of course, knowing fully well what the prophecies meant.

"I don’t know if I should actually talk to mine, though. He's more than ready for his own battle... /too/ ready, even."
✹ ARES / MARS 11 years ago
@♦ Apollo "Mmhm.." Ares agreed with Apollo. Besides the Trojan War that he participated, the Olympus War definitely made a huge impact on him. Even though he's a War God, now he think first about his action before turning into a reckless war.

"Yeah, I talked to him before leaving for the quest." Ares rested his shoulder on the marble pillar next to him. "I know he's ready for this--but i'm pretty much worried."
✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
@♦ Ares / Mars [SH] "Costs me my sons and daughters." Apollo answered, his smile turning weary. Yes, he remembered that well. Very well, in fact. And he couldn't disagree with Ares on this: the second Olympian War had been a total chaos.

"Shipwreck is an understatement, I think." He chuckled. "I am imagining the destruction of Olympus."

He sighed a bit before turning to face the war god.

"You talked to your son?"
✹ ARES / MARS 11 years ago
@♦ Apollo Silence is a good sign for them, but not really for Ares. He likes to mess around and create some little--tiny war around the Olympus. Or you can say, play some tricks and pulled up pranks to the other Gods or Goddesses. But Olympian War, it's a different situation.

"Olympian War.." Ares thought of that word then he shook his head, still, his smile plastered on his face. "That hella busy times." He said. "It's like a shipwreck." He added.
✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
@♦ Ares / Mars [SH] "I suppose so." Apollo said, nodding his agreement. Ever since his 'not sure' statement, he had been looking up at what the other gods were doing, but he left them at that.

Of course, he sees everything.

"Olympus being silent is a good sign," he flashed his half-brother his signature smile as well. "It means that we are not on the verge of having a third Olympian War."
✹ ARES / MARS 11 years ago
Ares stopped walking as he could see a sudden light behind him. Apollo. He chuckled as he heard the latter's voice behind him, then he turned around as he fixed his blue blazer that he got from the human world. "Hey, brother." He said, giving Apollo his signature smile.

"Busy with their own business, I suppose." He said, shrugging his shoulders. "It's kind of weird-- Olympus being silent for decades."
✹ APOLLO 11 years ago
A beam of light had indicated the arrival of the sun god at the hall, and he materialized soundlessly aside his half-brother. It seemed that everyone else really weren't around...

"I can hear you, Ares." Apollo grinned as he casually walked in. "Not sure where everyone else is, though."

She usually found walks calming but when she is trying her best not to freak out from thinking someone is following her farther and farther from camp, it didn't have quite the same effect. Magix was on the verge of going crazy by the time she got to the other side of the river bed. "Just a little more," She told herself, softly, " now."
