@⤫ p. chanyeol The surprise from hearing you speaking back to me has me feeling astounded, not to mention the gravel laced tone- deep and soothing to hear as I chuckle and shake my head. ", where are my manners, I'm really not usually like this," I mutter apologetically and step back a bit, only to blink upon realizing that even though, I did come off as being a nosy person interrupting your alone time in the dimly lit cafe, rain pouring down outside on the streets, giving off that nice rain smell against the pitch. It makes me crave a hot cup of coffee and that's exactly what I'd be having sooner than later.

"Thank you, I'm very sorry, I really didn't mean to uh overstep- it's just nice seeing a familiar face around here, I usually come here after every shift at the club and- I never see anyone here per-se. I think I'm one of the rare customers who come in here when I don't even get why seeing as the coffee and the treats are indeed delicious." Once I'm finished rambling over and fangirling basically about the homey cafe, my eyes lift from my folded hands in front of me to take a careful look at you as I scan your features and smile a little.

"I tend to remember faces clearly, I dance there---every weekend and well, like tonight on special occasions. Seeing as it's the holidays more and more rich folks are coming to our club and booking nightly events and the likes, so I have to perform for these things. I mean the money comes in handy and it's not like; you know, they're touching me and the likes. So It's not a problem," I clear my throat once I'm trailing off, not knowing why I'm trying to make it sound as if I'm not some bad person or something. Thankfully, the waitress comes up with my hot drink and I flash a warm smile as she places down the plate of mocha cake accompanying the warm drink and I sigh in content. "My god, thank you hun- I really look forward to coming to this after work," I state warmly as I bow my head in thanks and I turn to look over at you curiously.

"Do you also, want a slice? It's divine."

@⤫ s. naeun It was no brainer I tuned into the newcomer's conversation with the waitress. Even though I seemed at ease with my coffee paired with the cozy environment, danger still lurked especially for men like me. After all, in this line of work, it was to eat or be eaten; otherwise, fools just like to challenge me for a taste of my meal. And by fools, I meant those that come in different shapes and sizes— some in the form of snipers and bombs, others in the figure of men... and women. That said, this woman, you, don't seem to have any underlying persona nor intent.

In fact, I might've seen you some place else before— oh! Aha, you're the dancer in the club downtown! I couldn't be wrong about it— not with a woman who literally looked too... majestic for such a sketchy place. To my luck (and surprise), on the contrary, you confirmed my assumptions; yet, despite that swirling pride, only a tiny curve of a smile conjured on my lips. You didn't seem to be a bad person but you didn't seem to have respect for personal boundaries too. Nevertheless, I tried to respond to your enthusiasm with a somewhat civilized reply, "Yeah, I do but only recently. How do you know?"

Simon revered me for this tactic; in his words, it was only I, who posses the charisma and eloquence to create diversion in a conversation and induce trust (or chaos, depending on the situation) from victims, among all his contractors. Honestly, I myself have yet to ponder how I acquired this tactic but I supposed it didn't matter as long as it gets the work done. "Take a seat by the way," I quickly interjected, along with a head gesture to the stool beside me, before you answer my question.

Pouring bucket of drop.... It's raining as they say, cats and dogs? Suddenly the heavens started to cry without much further ado. Sighing softly as I finally find my feet coming up to the diner steps, I feel the overwhelming warmth and sense of content taking over my entire being. This is my 'safe haven' seeing as after every shift at work, I tend to come here to swallow down the caffeine. "Whatever keeps the nightmares away," i mumble to myself, placing the umbrella down into the basket provided at the door.

Walking into the haven spot, I'm perplexed to see another being taking solace at one of my favourite spots. I don't pay much attention towards you, not wanting to stare or ogle at you in fear of scaring you off or angering you. I tend to cause either one of the two, no in between, even though, my appearance is much more dainty to cause such feelings. "Hey dear, nice seeing you around, the usual?"

Nodding my head, i flash her a friendly smile as I chuckle softly. "Of course Hun thank you. I had such a tiring night, i just need to de-stress a bit." Once I'm turning on my heels signalling to her I'm going to my usual spot to sit, the whiff of your heady cologne clouds my judgement. Causing my senses to be overridden with the intoxicating scent and without being able to help it, my head turns in order to say a soft greeting.

"Goodnight... Your cologne smells really great..." I trail off once I see the face before me and I'm a bit surprised. Eyes widening mildly as I tilt my head curiously with a soft smile playing on my couplets. "I know you.... You come to the club regularly don't you?" Forgetting all manners and worry of invading your private space, I end up stepping an inch closer to your joint.

@⤫ s. naeun Entering the small diner, I immediately felt stares thrown like daggers on my figure— almost as if I was a wanted criminal. Oh please, had they never seen a man with a gash on his cheek and bandaged fists before? Granted that specks of blood seeped through the cloth of my hands, I doubt I deserved to be looked down this much. Nevertheless, I could care less; it wasn't like it's a feeling I haven't grown accustomed to yet. At my last parade before this city, it was much worse. At least, the crowd here didn't dare make a scene and especially the waitress didn't refuse to serve my order of a strong cup of black coffee.

"New here, aren't you?" She amicably questioned as she started pouring freshly brewed coffee onto my cup. I merely replied with a nod as I waited patiently for the cup to be filled. Glancing sideways, I noticed the few customers in the bar awhile ago had already left. Were they that scared? "They must be getting ready for work now, those men. They're quite the patron here on their work days," she explained as if she noticed my boorish reaction from the sudden disappearance. "Here, it's done. Just holler at me if you need more," she slightly pushed the cup onto my side and before she completely left to attend to the kitchen, she said, "And before I forget, Moirai is a majestic place. Sure, there'll be wary looks here and there; but with time, I'm sure you'll fit in just fine."

"Thank you," I said in a low voice before the waitress entered the kitchen. It's been awhile since I've been welcomed to a town, so genuinely— a small smile plastered on my lips. As I then slowly enjoyed the warmth of my coffee, rain poured out from the diner and before I knew it was raining cats and dogs. I guess I'll be staying here for a quite awhile then; thank god, I've finished everything that needs to be done earlier.
