@⤫ n. jaemin he pauses briefly, ensuring he wasn't being caught in the act when--there! he spotted a figure in the distance, standing by as if waiting for the other's face to come into the light for him to notify the police. he lifts the ruler out from the car's frame but doesn't raise it at the other's ominous frame--yet. "hey," he starts, swiftly lowering his voice. "what're you doing?" he briefly glances downward, ensuring his hoodie covers the police uniform hidden underneath.

@⤫ m. jongup. it was a quiet night and jaemin had realized he ran out of ice cream, which is his comfort food for when he doesn’t have ideas. the male looked for his wallet and pulled the hoodie closest to the front of his messy closet. when he was walking through the dark, he was a person trying to break into an automobile. jaemin didn’t know if to stop the thief or to just walk away. after just staring, he stayed watching the male. he hummed, thinking of a story that could influence with the actions of the other.

@⤫ n. jaemin under the blanket of darkness, jongup has found himself amongst the parking lot to the local park. people commonly parked here on busy city nights as it was on the outskirts of the city, the last refuge for cars to be parked within a fifteen minute walk away from the nightlife. while gangsters and mobsters would make quick work of the drunk and otherwise unfortunate victims, jongup made use of stealing just enough to get by through using tactics his older brother taught him.

after finding a promising vehicle, he reaches behind the collar of his shirt to brandish his tool--a steel ruler sharpened at the ends, making it a threatening weapon and useful tool for breaking in. the silver polish of the ruler glimmers in the moonlight, reflecting the light into jongup's dark eyes as he plunges the end into the car door. he begins his process of undoing the lock without triggering the car alarm when he realizes he isn't alone.
