humans:
regular beings with no special abilities whatsoever. but even without any sort of special powers, the human race is still quite a force to be reckoned with if trained properly. most of today's modern technologies were invented by them. they are also capable of having strength and intellect that could even rival those of other beings. if honed well, they can be rather deadly on their one. it would not be wise to underestimate them. typically, they also make up a majority of the population, outnumbering most other species within the city.
they are, however, much more fragile than most other creatures.
wolves:
wolves have their own sub-genders, namely alpha, beta, and omega. alphas stand at the highest ranking, betas in the middle, and omegas at the lowest. many modern packs are more relaxed with their hierarchies, but some existing traditional clans still hold some sort of prejudice against each other, especially towards underperforming alphas and omegas. depending on their sub-gender, some wolves are blessed with impeccable strength or speed, even sharper teeth and claws. keep in mind, too, that heats and ruts exist.
though, this species can be weakened or hurt by introducing wolfsbane into their bloodstream.
vampires:
creatures that heavily rely on blood for survival, mostly human or animal, while some have more exotic tastes. this species also have a sort of hierarchy amongst themselves, but just like the wolves, only the traditional covens really care about the rankings of their members. they are blessed with great strength and speed, and on some occassions, can even fly for a short amount of time.
vampires are stronger at night, weaker by day. they won't immediately burn under sunlight, but prolonged exposure can have dire consequences and may leave scars on the skin.
angels / fallen angels:
godsent beings known for trying to keep peace. during the war, many have scattered across the world, wandering without a home and a significant purpose. they are a relatively peaceful bunch and are probably the least violent out of all species. fallen angels, on the other hand, are a completely different story. all angels will be regarded as regular angels until they do something the heavens can no longer forgive them for.
angels can still ascend to heaven upon request, but fallen angels will no longer have that right. their wings will turn black permanently to remind and warn other angels of their sin.
demons:
from the fiery pits of hell emerge demons of all kinds, each with a specific sin they most likely stick to for the rest of their existence. they are witty and charming, their primary lure being temptation and manipulation, perfect for those who choose to feed themselves off of the pain and suffering of others, or perhaps through sin and ultimate desire.
demons have the potential to gain control of powerful energies and greater manipulative abilities. however, certain religious items and blessed objects can weaken or hurt them.
