@⌖ jeno l. She laughs by the word 'her parents' before looking at him, shaking her head. "They won't be scolding me now, I buried them six feet underground." Joohyun smirked and looked at the other and orders their food at the waiter before taking down their orders and walks away to fetch it. They have a lot to talk about and a lot to catch up right now, for so many years, Joohyun had lost contacts with her acquaintances when she was human.

"Just so you know, I'm not the Noona you once met. She's no longer in this world, rather no longer existing in the same city as us." She told her before looking at her in a serious expression, "But her memories are still inside me and I planned on using it as my advantages." Joohyun smirks. "But I am still Bae Joohyun, but a demon one... not the human you used to know."

@◑ joohyun b. Jeno didn't mind the idea of the place not being safe for them to be in, he lived for the danger after all. Yet he still went along with the girl when she asked him to follow her, taking one last look at the mess she's left behind of the man who used to be his target before he decided it might not have been that bad having his target stolen from him after all.

As he went along the girl he used to know, he made sure to scan around their surrounding areas and the people passing by them, a habit he had developed after he joined his gang who basically taught them that they were never safe no matter where they were or who they were with.

As he took a seat in the corner the girl chose, he shrugged his jacket off his back, and placed it on his seat before he turned his attention back to his company. "Yeah, I remember that! you used to be really nice back then....always insisted on hanging out and helping me with whatever, even though both of us were aware that your parents didn't exactly like that and that you'll always end up being scolded for it" he reminisced the old days when his only worry was to find enough food to survive.

@⌖ jeno l. She couldn't help but to smirk before looking at the apartment they're in, "It's not safe to be in this area, people might see what happened here." Joohyun gets her coat from the racks, wearing it before looking back at the other. "I might not so kind to other people but to you, I think you and I have some serious talking to do." She starts walking to the back door of the apartment, "Follow me." Then she walks out of the apartment, knowing that the other will follow suit.

As they had been walking through the crowds, Joohyun was looking around to look for a cheap restaurant for the two to eat for dinner. Right now, she haven't got a proper meal for today due to her working on her research and getting her formula back from the thieving businessman. She doesn't really need human foods, but for the sake of him, she will have a dinner with him, as well as talking with him at what happened to the both of them.

"Here." She looked back at him as she pointed the cheap restaurant she used to eat alone, Joohyun walks inside along with him and went on the very corner seat so the two could have a deep conversation alone. The two sat on their seats before a waiter gave them the menu before leaving them to make up their orders, "Hm, so the last time we met... As far as I could remember that I gave you a trinket." She muttered while looking through the menu.

@◑ joohyun b. As the girl yanked her hands away from him, he decided to drop his attempts of trying to check up on her as she seemed to be doing just fine, and certainly unharmed. "just came by to finish some business" he replied back, knowing that he doesn't need to do anything now as the girl took care of the matters for him, even though she was doing it for herself more than for anyone else.

"Your formula" he hummed in thoughts, going around the room and taking a seat on one of the clean couches "you're with pasithea now" he concluded, before nodding at her words confirming that he was second in command.

His eyes raked the girl's body up and down before he rolled them "What century are you living in, noona? who has girlfriends these days" he never understood people in gangs who willingly created weak links for themselves by taking in lovers "and what if I'm not into girls? I must have a boyfriend? But thanks for the compliment, you're still as pretty as ever too"

@⌖ jeno l. Joohyun gasped quietly when the other touches her hand just to check if there are any injuries she got, "Wha-- get away from me! What are you doing?" She quickly pries her hand away from Jeno before putting her hand back to herself, clenching it to her chest. She sighed and walks to the kitchen to get a glassof water, "I was just getting rid of the rat who stole my precious formula, ungrateful thieving bastard." She she muttered and poured a glass for her and drinks it.

"And you, you came here the same thing, is it not?" She asked the boy while crossing her arms before leaning against the counter. "I presume you're the youngest second-in-command?" Before he could ask how she knew that, she replied again. "I have intel, don't worry, I won't hurt you."

Joohyun walks closer to Jeno and she hesitantly touches his hair and ruffles it, "You're handsome, Jeno." She complimented before smirking. "Got any girlfriend already?"

@◑ joohyun b. Jeno kind of felt like his brain got fried for a moment there, and it didn't help that the woman in front of him seemed to have much less memories of him than he had of her. It only made his confusion grow bigger and bigger.

"Jeno" he corrected her, not really feeling much over the fact that she wasn't able to get his name right even though they used to be rather close back in the day, well as much as he remembers at least. It made him wonder what happened to the girl exactly, how did she end up like this, but then again he himself had ended up way differently than anyone expected.

Placing his knife back into its place, he marched towards the only other living figure in the room, and without hesitation he took the girl's hands into his own, his eyes ranking over her body, checking for any kind of red flags or injuries on her. "way too many years for me to count, what are you doing here anyways?"

@⌖ jeno l. "Joohyun noona?"

She turns around to see the guy's full figure, the features of the guy is much younger than her and she must have known her before. Joohyun hums and wasn't surprised at all, "Oh? You know me? Have we met before?" She asked before putting her hand on her waist as she stared at him. She is sure that she has known her but when?

"You seemed familiar. Your eyes do tell me that I met you before..." She rubbed her chin and smirks, "Was is Juno? Jino?" Joohyun guessed her name but she wasn't sure if it was the right one.

She looked back at her victim and clicked her tongue, she walks towards it before she dragged his body to the storage room and hides his body there before she hums and looks at him again. "How many years was it? I couldn't remember the time I last saw you." She spoke to him again as she gets a tissue and wipes off the blood from her face.

Jeno was out on a job tonight, unlike his usual past days where he got to relax in the office and just make sure that the overall flow of the jobs was going right, tonight he had to make sure a certain someone was to be taken out, and he wanted to do it on his own just to make sure it goes well so he wouldn't need to clean anyone else's mess. Apparently his clients really wanted this guy out of the picture, and it was because of something along the lines of him stealing other's ideas, and taking credit for he didn't do. It seemed to be really bad out there, but it's not like he cared that much.

He had been tracking the guy for the past three days, and he knew that he had some kind of meeting in his apartment today. His initial plan was to wait out until whoever he was meeting with was out of the picture before he got his job done, since the contract had only the guy's name on it and no one else's. But that plan seemed to be going out the window the moment he walked closer to the apartment's door just checking on things and ended up hearing some awful cries for help, showcasing that something must be wrong for sure. So the next thing he knew he was bursting through the apartment ready to face whoever dared to take away his job from him, yet for a few seconds he was met with nothing but blood, there was blood everywhere, and the smell of it was almost sickening, making it obvious that whoever did this wasn't looking for a clean hit but rather had fun with the last moments of the victim.

With his knife in hand, he waited for the girl's shadow to turn around, ready to take her out the moment she tried something funny. "Who the are you" he growled back at her, his expressions wavering for a second the moment his eyes landed on the very familiar face "Noona?" he blinked in confusion, was he really seeing this right? "Joohyun noona?" he asked again, wondering if he was starting to hallucinate now.

@⌖ jeno l. As night falls to the deepest side, neon lights starts to flicker and glow more in the dark as hookers, es and clients are walking around in this bustling side of District 5. This was also Joohyun's most hated part in the district where she was once had dirty with anyone just to get money, much of her disgust, she has someone to meet and have fun with him. Her client was none other than a corrupt businessman who only wants to do what it must to get him to the top, but he won't lasts.

Joohyun locked herself inside his apartment so they could have a nice and enjoying talk, she knew that he's the one that stole the prototype of one of her creation of new drugs. She remained low key until he showed her his prototype which was from Joohyun. She didn't have time to listen to him further and she instantly sliced his arm that was holding her prototype. Blood showers some parks of the walls and the floor before he screamed in pain and fell down, that is the music to her ears, she looked down at him and uttered. "Such a poor greedy man, you can never deserve a life peacefully for yourself if you can't stop yourself from stealing things that doesn't belong to you." She sighed and gets her prototype before put it inside her pocket.

"You should know you should never challenge a demon, you might not like it." She gouged his eye out as he screams even more, he can only know pain and that's what Joohyun wanted. She loves torturing people and making them realized to stop themselves to do bad things. She looked at the eyeball before throwing it away. "Such a shame, let me free you from your pathetic suffering." Then she slits his throat with a shard of a glass, blood once again splattered across the room. A few blood landed on the demon's face before she felt someone was watching behind her, an indeed a familiar figure, "Ah, visitors... Have you come to collect your contract?" Then she slowly turns her head towards the other. "I think you're too late." She smirks.
