@Jimin Dagon's lips curled upward a little at that. He covered it (as if he was somehow self conscious about smiling in front of a blind stranger) by bringing his hand up to take another drag. "If it turns out you lost something, you know where to find me," he remarked. "Don't mind giving a hand." He generally didn't mind giving a hand to literally anyone who asked, as long as they weren't a complete .
@Dagon "Um yeah, a few blocks away, I know it may seem like I'm lost but it's not too hard to figure out once you know the route by heart." Jimin said with a small grin. He made sure everything was secured in his bag. "Hope I got everything, oh well if I didn't it couldn't be a great loss."
@Jimin "I guess the alternative would be ty taxi drivers," Dagon conceded, considering the tendency of some drivers to rip you off while you watched, he couldn't imagine the opportunity some might take to rip off this guy. "So you live around here?"
@Dagon "Um..just headed home is all." Jimin said as he straightened out his belongings. "Sometimes it's easier to walk there." he said with a little bit of a grin.
@Jimin There wasn't really an adequate reply, so Dagon straightened up slowly and took a drag, glancing around. "Where are you headed?" he asked offhandedly, eyes narrowing at the bright sun and blaring concrete reflections.
@Dagon Jimin gave a little snort as he felt things being placed into his hand. "Yeah...I'm...fine." he said and then sighed. "Watch myself hmm..well believe me if I was capable of watching myself I probably wouldnt have dropped these things to begin with." Jimin didn't mean to sound like that but he was just a little on edge.
@Jimin Dagon watched the stranger fumble for his things for a moment, eyebrows creased in a lukewarm mixture of concern and curiosity. "You okay?" he called calmly, and after a moment strode over to help the man gather his things, only realizing upon seeing his unfocused gaze that the man was blind, although in hindsight his cane should have been a clue. "Watch yourself," was his own brand of sympathy, delivered along with the other's wallet.
@Dagon Jimin hiked the bag a little higher on his shoulder. He moved his cane in front of him feeling the side walk. He really had no clue if he was headed the right way or not, but he didn't really care at the moment. He'd been going out on his own a lot , which probably didn't make a lot of sense to some but it kept him busy and he knew it worried Jinya, but she'd just have to deal with it. Maybe he'd look into getting a dog, he'd thought about it before, now maybe he would at least then he'd have a companion.
Jimin caught the whiff of cigarette smoke off to one side in front of him and due to his lack of attention he missed the dip in the concrete and stumbled forward, a couple of books and his wallet falling out onto the hot pavement. "dammit.." Jimin mumbled to himself as he knelt down to try and find his things. [I'm sorry if this is crappy :/]
@Jimin On busy days at the auto shop, Dagon was usually called in as support staff to do basic menial labor like hauling equipment or unloading or getting cars from the lot. He didn't work on the cars himself as he wasn't a qualified regular staff member, more like a temp, but he helped everything go a little smoother. Currently he was hauling and stocking boxes upon boxes of oil and starting to break a sweat, when after emptying the last of the boxes from the truck, his supervisor let him go to take his ten.
Strolling around to the side of the building (away from the front with all the customers and the back with all the trucks) where it was more or less quiet, he leaned up against the side and lit up a cigarette. It had to be the hottest day of the year.
I'm sorry but Sailor is leaving, I know I'm past my hiatus time and I hate to be so inactive. I had fun though, this is a great roleplay, I hope more people join!
