@♔ Lee Hoseok “I am full of ideas, it’s not a bad thing, right?” Dongyoon grew concerned that all his big ideas and daydreaming would annoy the alpha. Dongyoon had grown accustom to overthinking, during the time he spent alone when they previously lived together. “Hey! You’re not puting me in charge of the kids because you view me as a child are you?” Dongyoon pouted at the alpha, wondering if all their progress toward a friendship as equals was becoming undone. “I’d be honored, the children are the packs future after all.”

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) As he listened, he couldn’t help but give a soft laugh, shaking his head a bit. “You are just full of ideas aren't you but yes it's true…it will be fun for the kids at the end which is all that matters,” he said with a soft smile. “Though we would have to buy the bio degradable balloons for the safety. I know not everyone is going to pick up the pieces once they pop so I dont want it to poison our land if it gets left behind,” he said with a slight nod, smiling when the food was coming along. “You know I just got an idea…I will leave you in charge of the kids in the pack. Let you come up with ideas and events for them, I think that would be fun. It seems you enjoying working with them after all.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “A grand hall would be nice for pack celebrations in winter also, would save a lot of time and make everyone feel closer.” Dongyoon smiled while resting his chin in his palm. “Do you like pets? I could sed you with a kitten you sit on your shoulder and take everywhere.” Dongyoon laughed imagining the contrast between a small kitten and Hoseok’s large frame. “The children want to have a water balloon fight, but the carers at the children’s home heard the word fight and instantly said no.” Dongyoon got a mischievous glint in his eye. “But if the pack alpha turned a water balloon fight into part of solstice celebrations… what could they do?”

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) Hearing him, he watched him for a bit before he nodded and he kissed his forehead before standing up. “Alright, the food will be ready shortly just wait for me alright. And no not yet, I need to find someone to plan it out for me since I am not good with those sort of things,” he said with a soft laugh. “I would like for you to help with what the kids could do, I know that would be fun. And I guess just-drinks and plenty of food for the adults with some music though I could be wrong about that. Probably should just go around and talk to them to see what they want to do. That is if the weather isn't bad…now that I think about it probably should build like a grand hall or something to host gatherings in when the weather is bad.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “Can we eat breakfast… please. I’m hungry.” Dongyoon bit his lip nervously he couldn’t tell Hoseok ‘no’ but the thought of what everyone would say about him, and about Hoseok, made Dongyoon’s heart beat accelerate. Dongyoon knew Hoseok was a good alpha with good intentions, and he didn’t want to give anyone a reason to question that. “Have you thought about how the pack will celebrate summer solstice?” Dongyoon made small talk hoping to change the subject naturally.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) When he finally got up, showered, and changed, he was a bit surprised at what he found in the kitchen before he looked around and found the omega. He stared at him a bit before smiling weakly as he went over and kissed his forehead gently before taking his hand and leading him over to a chair to sit down. “I know where my missing clothes went which you can keep by the way,” he said with a soft laugh. “And I wanted to make breakfast for you but thank you for doing all this work,” he whispered softly as he knelt down in front of him. “I want you to stay here until you heal up please…can you do that,” he asked him as he looked into his eyes. “And I want you to come back to work for me again please, heck you can even be my little secretary to run errands. I do need someone to deliver papers to here and there and check in on things for me and who better than the one I trust most.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok Dongyoon woke up early in the morning, he sat up and hissed as fresh pain bloomed in his side. Remembering last nights events he groaned. What was he going to tell the others when they questioned where he had gone? And he knew that he couldn’t smell Hoseok’s scent but he was sure the adults would smell it on him. Dongyoon decided to shove his worries aside and prepare breakfast, he had promised Hoseok he wouldn’t cook but he never said he wouldn’t chop up vegetables for omelettes or mix batter for waffles. After he had prepped the ingredients he put them neatly in the fridge and went to shower, having stayed Hoseok in the past he knew where the alphas towels were. And Dongyoon also remembered Hoseok’s exercise clothes he had accidentally shrunk in the dryer and hid in the linen closet months ago and put them on afterward.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) Though he did try to sleep, he wasn't able to since he felt worried about the omega, wondering if he was in pain. So after about an hour, he got out of bed and went to check on him, just really wanting to see him. Back in the living room, he couldn’t help but smile as he went to him, pulling the sheets more up over him to make sure he stayed warm. “I am sorry that you got hurt but I promise to try to protect you the best I can so nothing like this happens again,” he whispered as he leaned down and kissed his forehead. “You are my special omega and no one is allowed to do this to you.” Sighing but smiling, he watched him a bit more before he went back to his room to try and sleep.

@♔ Lee Hoseok Dongyoon tried to fall asleep but all he could think about were Hayi’s words. Hoseok was handsome, and any pretty omega that joined pack was treated as a new challenger for the head alpha’s affection. Hayi only wanted to keep Dongyoon away from Hoseok, what about omegas that would do anything to get closer to the alpha? That was way worse. Dongyoon felt selfish, he wasn’t sure of his own feelings for Hoseok but still felt no one deserved him.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) “You can count on me remember, I care for you a great deal and will always be here for you no matter what. No one can stand in between us I swear to you Dongyoon.” Smiling softly at him, he caressed his cheek before he got up and kissed his forehead before turning off the light. “Rest alright, I will make us breakfast in the morning so dont even think about making it or just leaving. I will be very upset if you do so I hope you know that.” Winking at him, he went back to his room, having a quick shower before putting on his night clothes and climbing into bed to sleep.

@♔ Lee Hoseok “I’m okay, thank you for helping me. Sorry to just show up like this. But I don’t have anyone else.” Dongyoon looked down sadly. It was scary to think about, not having parents or siblings, having to rely solely on himself and Hoseok. At least Hoseok had the loyalty of the pack members, Dongyoon didn’t have anything. Dongyoon questioned if he was just desperate not to be alone and it was why he clung to Hoseok. “Good night, sleep well.” Dongyoon said.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) “Yes I would because I will not tolerate that sort of stuff in this pack, no matter who they are Dongyoon, please believe me in that,” he said gently as he looked into his eyes. “And I know you wouldn’t lie about this, you aren't that sort of person, I trust you completely. “Yes, I will reassign him so dont you worry okay? He won't have anything to do with you and won't ever come near you.” Sighing a bit but smiling he went to go get the extra pillows and blanket before pulling out the pull-out bed and making it up for him. Once it was down, he helped him up and into the bed, feeling worried about the bruise. “Are you okay for now, do you want the ice pack again?”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “Would you punish anyone else that way? You can’t give me preferential treatment. You weren’t there, I could be lying about what happened. You can’t just take my side, just re-assign Hayi somewhere else besides the children’s home.” Dongyoon wished that Hoseok could get rid of Hayi but Hoseok was the pack leader and Dongyoon and Hayi were just two pack mates. “Thank you.” Dongyoon said sitting down on the sofa and waiting for Hoseok.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) “I will pick you and no one else so please remember that,” he said as he caressed his cheek and kissed his forehead. Hearing him hiss, he frowned as he pulled back and let out a soft sigh. “I dont want you anywhere near that damn omega anymore, he is going to be moved to a punishment and put away with alpha guards, for the time being, ones that are mated and won't be affected by him,” he muttered under his breath. He went to pull out some frozen vegetables, wrapping them in a towel before going over to him. “You are going to rest here until you get better and I am not going to take no for an answer. Just like you took care of me, now it's my turn to watch over you. Now come rest, I will make the bed for you and get you something to drink with some pain meds alright.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “I don’t know what these next few weeks will be like. But I couldn’t bare the thought of you mating with an omega like that. One who takes satisfaction in hurting others. Even if it isn’t me… for some reason. Just please, don’t mate with an omega like that.” Dongyoon allowed himself to be rocked gently, feeling comforted by Hoseok presence, before hissing in pain. He lifted his shirt slightly and noticed a bruise forming on his waist.

“You’re really kind, I used to think when we lived in the city you didn’t care about me. But now I think back then, you just cared too much in the wrong way.” Dongyoon said with a tiny smile.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) Seeing him in such a way, it broke his heart that he would think like this. Then again he was sure the way he had treated him when they first met also didn't help any. “Dongyoon…listen to me please,” he begged softly as he cupped his face, making him stop moving just for a bit. “I want you and only you, no one can ever take the place of my chosen omega. As for my rut, I plan to spend the week before and during alone just to make sure I dont get close to anyone but you. I won't let anyone but you carry our children,” he whispered as he kissed his forehead before kissing each of his cheeks. “I will not forget you so please get that idea out of your mind alright? And you are staying here with me tonight and tomorrow. I will get this fixed because I dont want you treated in such a manner. I knew I didn't like that man for a damn reason,” he muttered as he hugged the other close to him and lightly rocked him from side to side. “I will mate you and mark you but it will be when you fully trust me again and love me, then and only then can we be a true couple together.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok Dongyoon held onto Hoseok when he picked him up, even whimpering when the alpha let him go once he was seated on the counter. He sniffled a bit and blinked away the tears, holding onto the alpha almost desperately. “Let’s do it. You want to right? Why wait we’re both here now. You want me, you told me you want only me. So prove it. Bite me, mark me, why aren’t you doing it? Why aren’t I good enough?” Dongyoon yanked down the collar of his shirt and was sobbing by the time he finished speaking. “What are you going to do, if your rut comes before my first heat? Or if you’re alone with some other omega in heat? What are you going to do when the perfect omega wants you? How quickly will you forget me? One minute or two, hm?” Dongyoon’s stress poured out and and he weakly pushed at Hoseok’s shoulders.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) With it being a late day, he had been in his office doing the last of the paperwork. “Better go make something to eat,” he said as he left and stretched while heading into the kitchen. He was going to have ramen but with some grilled meat in it plus a fried egg and some sides as well. In the process of getting it all cooked, he heard his door open and he quickly turned around. He was surprised but happy to see the omega come to visit him. But when he saw the state he was in, he frowned as he quickly turned off the stove and went over to him. “What the hell happened…explain to me all of it.” Picking him up, he carried him into the kitchen and sat him on the counter while he got the first aid kid. He frowned as he is gently clean and disinfected the wounds, wanting to make sure they wouldn’t get infected.

He then looked up to him, caressing his cheeks as he watched him. “What is going on…please dont tell me it doesn't have anything to do with that stupid new omega,” he asked softly as he peered into his eyes, hoping that maybe his judgment had been wrong for once. “I am here for you…speak to me.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok Dongyoon slumped against the wall when he had finally washed the last dish after dinner. He was tired and looked forward to finally crawling into bed but as he headed for the stairs he felt a firm tug on the back of his hair. ‘You know I thought giving you extra duties around the home would keep you from being such a little but I am surprised that you still have the ability to yourself out. It’s hilariously pathetic the way you look at head alpha.’ Dongyoon struggled against the grip. “Stop it Hayi you’re hurting me.” Dongyoon whined. ‘Oh this, doesn’t hurt, if I had gone with my original plan to seduce head alpha and then only announce it once I was carrying this pack’s heir. That would have hurt, it would have broken you. Damn, I almost regret, not going with. Curse me and my sympathetic heart.’ Hayi sighed before shoving Dongyoon to the ground, smirking at him when he saw Dongyoon’s bloodied palms. ‘Alphas have needs, that pups like you, just can’t fulfill. Why would head alpha deny himself an omega that’s ready and willing and slick for him? You’re not worthy, you’ll never have head alpha.’ Hayi scoffed and stepped over Dongyoon to walk up the stairs. ‘Mm, quick question, do you think I’d look better with a mating mark on my left or right?’ Hayi didn’t wait for a response and simply kept walking.

Dongyoon stood up, gripping his side where he maid contact with the stairs. He washed his hands, thankful his pals were just red with minor scratches before he ran to hoseok’s house, letting himself inside and staring at the alpha with glassy eyes full of unshed tears.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) Being interrupted once more, he couldn’t help but frown, wondering what the other was doing acting as if he was in charge just because he was an older omega. He gritted his teeth but managed a small smile of sorts before seeming to roll his eyes at this point. After bidding farewell to the others, he left the place and went out to talk with a few of his alphas and betas, wanting a background check if possible on Hayi before having people watch him as well as Dongyoon to make sure that he would stay safe in the place. With that done, he went back to work while he finished up the rest of his work while also planning the lunch for tomorrow for the both of them.

This of course had a smile on his face, knowing that he was going to make it as amazing as possible. Of course, he still worried for him, wondering what was going on in the house. “Might have to rearrange the rules and figure out what is going on…cant have this sort of stuff happening all the time.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “You’re spoiling the pups so much. I thought the idea of the ice cream mountain was ridiculous but maybe you’ll make it happen.” Dongyoon laughed before thinking over Hoseok’s offer. “I don’t have time, I have to do laundry, I have to prepare the infants for their morning and afternoon naps and I have to do the dishes after dinner for the next two weeks.” Dongyoon looked at the alpha apologetically. “I’m not even being paid, they’re all just a bunch of punishments I’ve stacked up.” Dongyoon pouted.

“That sounds good, I’ll peel some fresh fruit for dessert.” Dongyoon found himself reinvigorated and energized to face his next few hours of labor. ‘Oh Dongyoon sweetie, there you are. Excuse us head alpha.’ Hayi smiled sickeningly sweet at Dongyoon, before digging his nails into the younger’s wrist and dragging him away. “Bye… head alpha.” Dongyoon said following Hayi away.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) Hearing that he was stressed made him feel worried, wanting to take all his worries away but knowing he needed to be patient and give him his space. “I just have a lot to do…and I do honestly prefer your cooking over mine. How about your meal prep for me and I will pay you? Then that way all I have to do is bake or reheat, won't that be good,” he said with a big grin to the other, seeming to laugh softly. Hearing him explain more, he nodded as he reached for his hand, giving it a gentle squeeze before seeming to smile warmly at him. “I understand and I will wait patiently for you, no matter how long it takes.”

He looked around and was happy to see there wasn't anyone around so he quickly lifted his hand and kissed the back of it before seeming to chuckle at the reaction he got. “But lunch tomorrow sounds perfect, I will plan what to make for us for sure and make even extra for you to be able to bring back for the kids. Though I just might end up making them something completely different.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “I can’t just stand around while you introduce yourself, I have a lot of chores, and if i don’t finish them I’ll have even more punishments.” Dongyoon looked at the alpha before sighing. “Sorry, I’m happy to see you too. I’m just stressed.” Dongyoon smiled a bit. “You’re offering to cook for me when you’re not even taking your own meals properly? Or perhaps you my cooking?” He laughed and nudged the alpha’s shoulder.

“You don’t have to prove anything to me. I believe in you. But… my heart is still hurt and I think only time will heal it. No matter your actions there are just parts of me that still hesitate. So don’t feel pressured, okay.” Dongyoon bit his lip nervously as he voiced his true feelings to Hoseok.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) This had made him surprised before seeming to sigh at the sort of omega that was now part of his pack. He could already feel the headaches coming but there was nothing to do for now. He would have to assign a beta and alpha pair to keep an eye on him before real trouble began. As he turned to speak with him, he looked surprised to see him go off. He just bid farewell to the others before following after him, grabbing his hand and gently squeezing it. “Hey dont walk off like that, I came to visit you and spend a bit of time with you. I ate before I came…well snacked really but it's my break time and I wanted to check in with you,” he said gently to him.

He let his hand go but seemed to smile as he watched him, just happy to see him. He would look forward to the day that he would be able to wake up with him in his arms. “Please I know sometimes I can be a bit much but I just wanted to prove I am serious about you and that I have eyes just for you and no one else, no matter what they may try.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok “Hoseok!” Dongyoon looked at the alpha surprised by his direct words, drawing a few glances, “…our amazing head alpha. Thank you for the cookies.” Dongyoon laughed awkwardly, but he didn’t miss the way Hayi’s eyes narrowed at him. Dongyoon pouted, he would probably receive a lecture or punishment for addressing the head alpha improperly. The pups all shouted out their wishes for the summer party, all to varying degrees of ridiculousness, ending with the suggestion of an ice cream mountain that sent them all into boisterous laughter, that even Dongyoon couldn’t help but giggle at.

‘Thank you for allowing me to join this pack, I see so much potential and opportunity… for myself here. You’re so good with the pups, it’s surprising you don’t have a few running around here yet. Of course an alpha with your handsomeness and leadership requires a capable omega.’ Hayi nrrowed his eyes seductively, biting his lower lip briefly. Before a small pup tugged on his hand ‘Hayi! We have to figure out where the ice cream mountain will go in the backyard! C’mon.’ Hayi huffed in annoyance before offering Hoseok a smile. ‘Excuse me alpha.’ He said before allowing himself to be led away.

Dongyoon witnessing the exchange had already rolled his eyes and walked away.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) That didn't sit right with him at all, knowing something was up but he couldn’t quite put his finger on it. “Alright that is fine with me and remember,” he said as he leaned down a bit, only speaking loud enough for the other to hear him. “If you ever need my help you can always ask because remember I am going to make you my mate when you come of age,” he teased with a small wink before laughing as he stood up and looked around at the kids who seemed happy to see him. “I hope you are getting ready for the summer party that is going to happen soon. I am trying to see if I can find people to do face paintings for all of you,” he said with a small nod, seeming to grin a bit.

Now that he had spoken to the others first, he turned his attention to the new omega. There was something that didn't sit right with his wolf but he put it off to mostly being a new omega of the pack. “I hope you are settling in just fine. Everyone here is nice and we all seem to get along just fine. If you need help or have questions feel free to find me or find another alpha to pass along the message or beta for that matter.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok Dongyoon smiled as he watched all the pups rush to greet the head alpha, after Dongyoon mentioned to Hoseok how some of the younger pups could use a positive alpha role model in their lives, the head alpha had come over more often, just to check on them. And Dongyoon could see the difference in some of them. 'Head Alpha it is so wonderful for you to stop by i was think—' Hayi attempted to speak to Hoseok but his greeting was short as he walked over to Dongyoon.

“I can’t I’m on punishment… I let one of the bones in my soup get into the sink drain on accident. Now I have after dinner dishes duty for a week.” Dongyoon didn’t mind the punishment, he had been so poorly fed lately that he was sneaking the scraps from the younger kids plates after dinner. It seemed he was constantly on some form of punishment. And Dongyoon feared he looked gaunt and haggard. Hayi had said as much anyway, before dumping another consequence on him.

“I can probably get away from here tomorrow afternoon, how about lunch instead?” Dongyoon smiled at the alpha.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) After he had gotten better, he had gotten back to work and he felt bad that Dongyoon wasn't able to stay around. But things were changing all around and he was trying to make sure that he was staying on top of it all. Along with it were reports of new members and one in the children's home which made him frown a bit at this. “I might have to make a new place for them since its more people than I thought it would be,” he whispered as he looked over the old building plans before writing notes to visit it at their next meeting.

He was also going to do a building inspection to make sure that there wasn’t anything wrong with the home. Knocking on the door, he walked in and laughed softly as he greeted the kids. He knelt and held out some cookies he had bought from a pack member that had been selling them. “Look, these are snacks for after meals, only those that are good kids and eat all their food.” Getting up, he greeted the new omega but only just a bit before he smiled and went over to his omega, ruffling his hair. “You left a few things behind, want to stop by later to pick them up? I was thinking of making you dinner as thanks for taking care of me all this time.”

@♔ Lee Hoseok Hoseok’s injury had healed more quickly than expected and the alpha had begun resuming his duties outside the home. They still ate together but the alpha was often to busy or tired to talk. Dongyoon guessed it wouldn’t be too long until the alpha was too busy to even come home. And the same loneliness that filled him two years ago would set in again. He made the decision to move back to the children’s home.

All of the noisiness of the younger pups as well as the nagging of the carers was hard to adjust to again. But Dongyoon knew he would be happier. With his absence the children’s hime needed more help and they hired a new career a pretty omega named Hayi, all anyone could talk about was how kind, pretty, maternal and smart Hayi was. But Dongyoon was far less impressed, the omega seemed to dislike him greatly, from giving Dongyoon only bones in his stew, to giving him the hardest chores every week. there was nothing kind or maternal about Hayi.

@φ Jang Dong Yoon (ω) “Then you will get paid for sure so you dont have to worry about anything,” he said with a small smile, glad that he was able to help him out. “I am not telling you to be in the city but that is your choice but I will just say it's not something I would be comfortable with you doing since I wouldn’t know if you are safe or not.” Which was true, he wouldn’t be able to help him quickly if he was so far away. “Alright, good night and sweet dreams Dongyoon, let me know if you need anything. Extra sheets and pillows are in the hall closet by the laundry room which is down the hall from the kitchen.” Waving to him, he settled under the sheets before letting out a soft sigh, seeming to give a small yawn. Putting a time on the tv, he watched a bit before his eyes seemed to settle and close, his body finally drifting off to sleep after a long day that he had gone through.
