@✻ ⋰ junhui w. she's hungry. starving. itching. desperate— almost to the point of bursting into tears as she trudged down the path with no idea where to go. and she feels lethargic, fingers trembling as they hold onto the trunks of trees she passes by, so accustomed to the dark that she knows which step to take in fear of finding herself face first on the ground. and, maybe, just maybe, that's okay. maybe, it's better that she passes out from hunger; it wasn't like other people could help her, anyway. not when she feels her skin burning from underneath even when she's barely touched them, repulsed by their smell she could almost taste how rancid they are on her tongue. at least, here, where it's cold, she's not in pain— not burning, as if needles are prickling on her skin— just hungry, so hungry she wonders if cutting her stomach open could solve her problem. she's enticed by it— hand curling into fist as she takes a step further into the forest… one, two— snap! “mm…” something sweet, nothing like she's ever smelled before; and, before she knows it, senses heightened, her body turns into the direction of the scent, the lethargy seeping out of her skin as it's replaced with urgency, a different kind of desperation that is evident in her darkened irises. and when she finds him, it clicks, hands reaching out, the dirt on her fingers smearing on his cheeks as she pulls him into a searing kiss— tongue and teeth, blinded by the taste of him that she doesn't bother asking about the whys and hows of it. all she knows is hunger and he's the one that has found a way to sate it.
