"Alright, Seoyun! You can do this."

Seoyun stood in the entrance of the animal shelter with a hose in one hand and a mop and bucket in the other. On her head, she donned her (borrowed) wide-brimmed beige hat that most people would wear if they were going to the safari and covering the rest of her body was a simple black tee — not white as adviced by a couple of her elderly friends at the old folks home that had told her about their grand adventures in their youth when they volunteered to take care of the animals at the animal shelters; a pair of khaki ankle-length pants matched with a khaki vest and of course, to wrap it all off, a pair of ankle socks and sneakers.

If it wasn't for the fact that there weren't many people out and about the streets in the wee hours of the morning, it was extremely likely that someone who knew her would've stopped her to ask her if she was heading to the zoo to volunteer. It was probably what the other people who did see her was thinking anyway.

The staff of the animal shelter had been shocked to see the way that the infamous Ms Cho had showed up, dressed as if she was ready to wrestle a tiger and pounce on a lion when she would really just be taking care of a couple stray dogs and cleaning up the shelter the rest of the time. It wasn't like she was going to be doing it alone either but they knew better than to question her. It would only really bring them more questions rather than answers anyway but they did hope that their other new volunteer would be able to handle the energy that Seoyun brought with her wherever she went for the day.
