This time the context had fallen short and Eden was forced to follow directions (as she usually did when it came to her best friend). She was sure, anyways, that if it were something important the elder wouldn't have been so obscure over text and probably would've just met with her at the dorms. They had been long past the point of Mirabelle needing to prove that Eden could trust her, and she did with every bit of her life.

Eden, dressed in her casual wear of loose fit sweatpants and one of her brother's old sweaters, had arrived a little bit before the thirty minutes she was "scheduled" to arrive. "Hi, Mira," she greeted, face immediately breaking out into a smile while shoving her phone deep inside the depths of her pocket. "Everything fine? I came as quick as I could." She still hadn't caught sight of any of the things Mirabelle brought, only focused on how pretty her friend managed to look even after a long week of classes.

Mirabelle knew her text sounded cryptic, as if she was trying to keep some secret from her best friend. In part, this was true. But it wasn't for any bad or weird reason! Mira had wanted to surprise her closest friend with a picnic under the stars. She had packed sweets and some sandwiches pilfered from the great hall, along with a cozy blanket to lounge on. She knew how to conjure a flame with her wand too, so they could have a warm fire to hold their hands against in case they got cold.

Mirabelle was dressed in a pair of leggings and an oversized hoodie, blonde locks piled on top of her head in a bun with more than a few pieces falling out of it. Eden wouldn't care, right? No, no of course not! She'd seen her worse, so this was fine.
