emeraude doesn't always resort to violent behaviours when excited.

at some point while under foster care, emeraude was introduced to the creative arts. they learned that expressing their imagination helped to work through their emotions. they would write or paint or sing to themselves. they would also pick up obscure recreational activities to pass the time.

however, emeraude can't always turn to the creative arts for their irritation. idle activities only work when their thoughts are a dull presence at the forefront of their mind. they carry them out in hopes for the thought to fizzle out as other information crowded the front of their brain.

when a thought becomes too loud, a constant nag at the top of their head with no way to suppress it, that's when they become agitated and volatile. at that point, no painting or writing can get that idea out of their mind. they would have to resort to physical activities to let them out.

and the only physical activity they ever learned to hone is violence.

Emeraude never felt welcomed in both the Wizarding World and the Muggle Realm.

To the muggles, he was an immigrant. Not of English heritage — an outsider. He was either an expandable tool to the economy or a conniving foreigner trying to leech off the society.

To the wizards, he was just a muggle. No knowledge of the Wizarding World or lifestyle — nothing. He was shunned for not understanding the laws keeping the Wizarding World afloat.

No matter which side of the coin, Emeraude would always lose. He eventually stopped caring about fitting in. There’s no use trying to be a part of a society if they don’t want you anyway.

Howl spent much of his time at Hogwarts practicing and honing his Dark Arts craft outside of classes, deconstructing and reconstructing spells, and running cryptic experiments on foolish people willing enough to feed into his growing insanity. He would spend hours poring over his lecture notes, books, and any other resources he could get his hands on, even going so far as turning to the Dark Arts merchants of Knockturn Alley to procure some of his research materials because he was nothing, if not thorough.

Emeraude had heard his fair share of “mudblood” insults, especially from blood supremacist Slytherins. However, he never let those insults affect him. Rather, he feels confused by them and finds them laughable.

After starting his auctioneer business, Emeraude paid tribute to his “mudblood” status through his alias. There’s a Mandarin proverb that reads, “Emerged from the mud untainted” (出污泥而不染). It refers to the lotus flower and its purity despite its environment.

“Lotus” in itself is a simple and generic alias. So, Emeraude added a colour to describe the flower. White, though common, does not roll off the tongue for an alias. So, he opted for “Silver”. Not only is it adjacent to the white hue, but it’s also one of the core colours of his Hogwarts house.

As such, the codename “Silver Lotus” was born — the muggle-born auctioneer hunted by both the Ministry of Magic and Scotland Yard for his illegal dealings in both worlds.

Sirona has a one-sided crush on a Ravenclaw from the seventh year. She is certain the girl barely knows she exists, but can't help admiring her from afar whenever she walks by.
The one time she had dared speak to her she had been so flustered that all her words had become jumbled, earning her a short laugh from the girl before she walked away.

Sirona treasures having heard the laugh up close.

When Emeraude was still studying at Hogwarts, the elective courses they chose were Divination and Study of Ancient Runes. Both were subjects they had interest in, and though they weren’t a top scorer in the classes, they still passed the subjects with more than satisfactory results.

emeraude is not proficient in potions-making. it was one of the core subjects he fell behind in. when he was still studying at hogwarts, he would cause at least one explosion during potions lessons. it's a miracle emeraude even passed the subject and graduated hogwarts.

Sirona has often been mocked when talking about things she find attractive, as many think her various descriptors are nonsensical.

The list includes things like:
Power posing (with one leg higher than the other), odd striking eyes, fangy grins, wide shoulders (especially on women), messy hairstyles, comfy outfits, chortling and RBF.

Emeraude rarely speaks in Thai or Bahasa Malaysia. However, when they do, they would sport a gentle smile and fond eyes. Their voice also turns soft, speaking style careful and calm.

Emeraude usually speaks in Thai and Bahasa Malaysia when they are deep in thought, during times when they are settled and at peace. There are also times, though not often, when they use the two languages when feeling melancholic. They usually speak as if trying to calm themselves, soothing their depressive mood.

After their father’s departure, Emeraude’s Thai mother spoke to them in her native tongue. Furthermore, she made an effort to speak in Bahasa Malaysia with Emeraude, wanting them to know the language of their motherland.

Sirona doesn't often drink as she is already very "high on life" with her usual outgoing demeanour. That does not however mean she does not enjoy the feeling of being buzzed, often giving more into the immediate thoughts in her head than she normally would. As such, a non-sober Sirona is way more touchy and loud than usual, taking her joy of life to a whole new level.

Whenever Emeraude is agitated, he starts speaking in Mandarin. When emotions are especially high, he will switch between different dialects — Hokkien, Cantonese and Hakka.

As his smuggled goods come from overseas, Emeraude has interactions with Chinese vessels. It is the only foreign language he speaks in during business hours.

Emeraude’s father regularly spoke to him in Mandarin and the different dialects. The pass of knowledge of the language is the only memento left by his father.

Wei's vampirism traits are quite subtle, only shown through mildly exaggerated fangs and pale skin. He does not require blood for sustenance but can drink it regardless. Does not burn in the sun, nor does he turn into a bat. He could highly pass for a normal wizard. Thus, if not heard through gossip, his being a half-breed is undisclosed information.

Hanami had a fierce duel with her older brother whom she never sworn to harm in anyway as he was driven by dark magic that he was expelled in Mahoutokoro and went missing for years, because she never used any Unforgivable spells, his brother took upon himself and used a Killing curse on Hanami. Fortunately she blocked it with a rock, but she never expected her brother has a fast hand and casted a Knockback Jinx on her. She flew as soon as the spell hits her and landed in a rough patch of stones, knocking her out as her head bumped on a rock, falling into a coma for a year.
