On the first level is the large and lively Gula Bazaar with countless shops and vendors. Here people can sell and purchase goods and services of all sorts.
@chiara. Busy, busy, busy. It's as if Charming never had a moment to himself, nor did he have a moment to stop and rest. That's one thing he disliked about being an adventurer, but it was for a good cause at least. One of his party members, an elf, had family here in Origo and needed to stop by to check on their siblings since it was on their way to where they needed to go. Before they paid a visit to the family, however, they had to stop by the bazaar to stock up on supplies, make trades, and handle business. Charming saw this as the perfect opportunity to get his brother and some of the other Chosen something nice since he was here.
"I'll just be a minute, I promise! Meet me at the rendezvous point when you're done wrapping up here too," says the elf as they skip off among the crowd. The other party members disperse as well, leaving Charms to fend for himself. At first, he scratches near one of his horns and tilts his head, unsure where to head off first, but his golden irises catch a glimpse of a bright flicker reflecting off a beautiful piece of glassware. It immediately draws him in.
Because it was approaching evening, the talismans and amulets seemed to be gone for the most part, but a few were left. Something he also wanted to make sure he asked about was this enchanting lantern that he knows will come in handy, but that can come later. First, business for his bro. He motioned toward the vendor (Raka) who seemed to be fidgeting with her signs. It appeared she was human, and his human speak wasn't the best in all honesty, but he knew enough to get around, so he pointed to what was left over for the talismans. "What say and do?" he asks.
@charming. steadily, she exhales. this time it wasn’t into the end of a pipe but into the chilly morning dew as she stood guard of the shack allotted to her in the middle of the bazaar. business had been slow as of late thanks to the turning of seasons and the tide of coins, clients seem to be clutching their purses more tightly as of late. ornate lamps and amulets only did so much compared to a moon’s worth of meals, raka understood it. that was reasonable in her mind.
so reasonable infact that she took the advice of a trusted companion—a rarity for her and her seemingly immovable nature—to sell her wares beyond the guild’s doors. two carts worth of artistry spanned the stall—plates and bowls adorned with intricated beading glimmered beside the decorative ornaments and the blessed talismans beside it. while it was definitely not her forte to greet the solemn customer or two that stopped by, she did ensure the lights bounced off her latterns in ways that enticed even the dullest eyes.
again, she scans the array, and raka can’t help herself from fidgeting, fixing her displays impatiently, as time moves with the speed of sewer sludge.
