@✦ taeyong l。 Sungchan silently watched over his pack members, some rolling around in their attempts to play-fight, while some lay fast asleep on the soft grass. It was a lazy afternoon and the pack had nothing else to do but lounge about, and Sungchan was content in observing them from his shaded spot underneath an old oak.

However, the wind brings to him a familiar scent, and he perks up just as Taeyong approached them, hauling something behind him of considerable weight. Sungchan raises a brow at him out of intrigue, wondering why they'd been sought out yet again—until the oversized sack lands at his feet.

It takes one glance at his pack members for them to move, the ones awake scrambling to reveal the sack's contents as though they were unwrapping some kind of gift. Sungchan had his suspicions, but one thing's for sure, he wasn't expecting an entire adult man to be presented right in front of him. So he gazes up at Taeyong's face, seemingly pleased. "Oh, how very generous of you."

Sungchan walks over, giving the body an experimental kick and successful rousing the guard from unconsciousness. "Still alive, too. Good work," he compliments, bending down to press a clawed hand against his newfound prey's throat. The man, somewhat coming to his senses, panics at the sight above him, and Sungchan has to command s to keep him still lest they want him to escape.

"Always so skittish," Sungchan tsked, shaking his head as he pressed his claws into the guard's throat a little harder. "If I were you, I'd stop struggling."

Looking back up at the other hybrid, Sungchan smiles gratefully, sharp canines on full display as he regarded the other with genuine curiosity. "Is there something up? Or is this a gift?"

@✦ sungchan j。 it was broad daylight—afternoon, more specifically—when taeyong abducted the royal guard.

hardly his fault; the scum was harassing a woman in a dark and dingy alleyway. one of his hands had the woman's wrists pinned while the other hand roamed her thrashing body. it was clear to anyone with eyes what was happening.

so, taeyong did what any chivalrous man would—he knocked out the royal guard and allowed the woman to escape.

what he did next was not the usual of a chivalrous man. he dragged the royal guard to a pile of garbage, hiding him amidst the foul trash. afterwards, he entered a nearby shop to purchase a gunny. once that was done, he returned to the royal guard and stuffed the body into the oversized sack. when he exited the alleyway, no one suspected him of hauling a whole unconscious man.

taeyong found the wolf pack in the forest. sungchan was watching s as they scuffled with each other. he approached the pack leader.

"got something for you," commented taeyong as he dumped the sack by sungchan's feet. the packed gunny fell with a heavy 'thump'. "a thank you for borrowing your people last week." while he, his partner and the fighters were out meddling with the royal family's affairs, sungchan's pack had stayed with the refugees and looked after them, as promised.

although taeyong already repaid the pack's deed the day after the squad's expedition, he thought he could treat the wolf hybrids again. he had no clue what happened to the two royal guards he sent sungchan's way, but he thought giving up one more would not hurt anyone.
