Peaceful as far as most people know, but at night, things can be quite different. Be wary of territorial animals and those who are hungry too; be free to explore and enjoy the unique beauty of the glades.
@Heechul Jaejoong scurnched his nose when Heechul poked him, glaring at him. He chuckled a little at the older's childness and stubborness, then he shrugged. "Then I guess you won't answer me. I can live with that." He stated jokingly. "But you still missed me." he added, this time looking away from him. He was actually curious about his answers, but that didn't mean he was eager to humor him by calling him by the name he wanted.
@Jaejoong When he noticed Jaejoong lean back, as if without a care in the world, the Elementalist poked the other. With the next question, Heechul made a face and crossed his arms before looking away in a childish manner. "I do not know of this ajusshi you talk about." He said stubbornly but peeked at the other for a moment. "I only answer to Heenim~" He stated before sticking his nose back up.
@Heechul "It seems not." Jaejoong shrugged. "Mm, I think I'll just stick to ahjussi from now on." He mumbled softly, resting his back against the tree. A minute ago he wouldn't even have wanted to see someone beside him, but now he didn't feel that bad anymore. He didn't know if he had missed Heechul, but meeting him again wasn't a bad thing. "So did you miss me, ahjussi?" He asked as he glanced at the man next to him.
@Jaejoong Heechul's expression soured at the sarcasm that emitted from the young panther hybrid. "Ah. Your face and body went through so much change, yet your attitude has not changed one bit?" He chuckled his tongue a few times. "And how many times did I tell you to call me Heenim?!" The Elementalist exclaimed playfully. He was used to the lack of emotion coming from the younger, therefor he was not disappointed as the other continued to spew sarcastic and mean things.
@Heechul Jaejoong scrunched his nose as the other ruffled his hair. He was in fact glad that Heechul finally remembered him, he would never say something like that out loud though. "Just what? Don't make up excuses, ahjussi." He raised his eyebrow at the next statement. "Big impact? You were just unusually annoying and remained imprinted in my memory, don't worry." he said before Heechul hugged him. The man scoffed, not hugging back. He never did, and it would be weird to begin now. He couldn't help a light smile from gracing his lips though. "It's been ten years or more, what would you expect? Shrink?"
@Jaejoong This time he was sure. There was no one else besides that panther boy who said such mean things to him. Once again Heechul glared at the other, but this time with a hint of excitement. "You punk!" He howled before pouncing onto Jaejoong and ruffling his hair. He knew no one liked their hair being bothered, but he liked bothering people. "It's not that I'm old, it's just--" With nothing to say, he made a face and changed the subject. "I must have had a big impact on you to make you remember me so well!" He giggled childishly before attacking the younger with a hug. "Ah~ You grew so much! Not a scrawny little boy anymore." He teased again. Heechul was ecstatic. If he was to have a tail, it would be wagging to and fro at speeds that rival fans.
@Heechul An amused smirk showed un on Jaejoong's lips at the glare he just received. He could see how Heechul was boiling because of the insult, even though it had been thrown at him jonkingly. "Of course, of course, if you say so..." Jajoong trailed off, the amuzed expression not fading from his features.
The man cocked his head to the side, eyebrows raised, looking quizically at Heechul as the man's voiced trailed off. He seemed to have remembered something maybe. "Really, you don't? Ah, you're growing old... Your memory must have ecome rusty..." he said playfully.
@Jaejoong Heechul's eyes snapped into a glare at the sudden comment. Half of him was wondering if he actually had met this person before. There was still a part nagging him of how familiar the other seemed. However, the other half was boiling at the insult that had been practically offered to him on a silver platter. He thinned his lips as his eyes shrunk. "Excuse me, but I've been beautiful my entire life." Maybe that was an exaggeration, but he was not going to admit that. He lifted his chin up like the proud man he is.
"Either way, I don't believe you would have even met me a decade ago as I do not even remember meeting.. you.." Heechul's voice slowly trailed off as he began to observe the features of the human in front of him. Indeed he seemed familiar. If he thought about it, the only memorable creature he had met a decade ago was a panther hybrid. The other half he could not remember well, but he remembered the jet black hair and sharp eyes.
@Heechul Jaejoong ignored the retort coming from the other as he was a litte too shocked to care about it. Not that he would have cared too much anyway. The man scoffed at the other's reply regarding the look on his face. "Yeah, whatever..." He muttered as he watched Heechul settling on the grass near him. Should he tell him who he was or should he wait until the other recognized him? Well, Jaejoong surely changed during the last years, not so much his old buddy though. It was rather an awkward situation for Jaejoong right now. "Mm, you're as ugly as a decade ago, don't worry." He said softly, the expression on his face not changing a bit.
@Jaejoong Heechul made as face as he was cursed at. It was not normal, being alone and all, to have such vulgar words thrown at him. "Well, what ever I make my business is my business. I was just being a kind stranger." He muttered under his breath followed by a string of words that were to soft and slurred to be understood.
It took a while for the Elementalist to snap out of his small tantrum and realise the expression on the stranger's face. Heechul cocked an eyebrow, giving the other a look. "I know I'm beautiful, but you seem to surprised. First time seeing a god right in front of your eyes?" He teased slightly as he settled on the ground, his legs crossed. Heechul was oblivious to the fact that the man in front of him was indeed no stranger.
@Heechul Jaejoong rolled his eyes hearing the stupid question coming from the other, who was now near him, and he didn't turn his eyes towards the male. He was still resting his back against the trunk of the tree, hoping that the other would just leave him alone eventually, but it didn't seem like he was going to do that too soon. He frowned at the next question. He seemed to have heard that childish tone before and he blinked in confusion at the thought, before he shrugged the idea off when he spoke again. He really didn't know who he was talking to, did he? "I don't have to explain my actions to you, do I? off, it's not your business." He rolled his eyes yet again, this time throwing a glare at the man. When he saw him, his eyes widened, remaining glued to him. This man was no stranger to him; Jaejoong knew it the moment he laid eyes on him. It had been what? More than ten years since he last saw him, but he couldn't be mistaken, this was Heechul.
@Jaejoong A mischivous grin grew on Heechul's face as he recieved the annoyed response, although he let the branches fall back in place. He slipped off the tree and crouched down near what he thought to be human. For a moment, the man looked familiar, but maybe it was just his mind playing tricks. Who would he have met still be alive by now? He thought to himself as he pushed the thought away.
Unaffected by the small outburst of the stranger, Heechul continued to bother him. "Are you tired?" He asked the obvious. "What did you do that makes you fall asleep in the forest?" His tone was childish, a contrast to his age. "The forest is dagerous, you know? Not the safest place to go unconcious leaving yourself vunerable."
@Heechul In his slumber, Jaejoong thought he heard a strange noise coming from above him, but he ignored it at first, thinking it was only the wind playing with the foliage. He figured it was something else though, because the little rustling seemed to be louder and louder, even though if he were human he most probably wouldn't have been able to hear it. He cracked his eyes open, his senses sharp as usually, despite it being probably just an animal that wasn't going to bother him. He had to be sure though.
He scrunched his nose in annoyance when the sunlight fell on his eyes. Well, the part when he thought that the creature wouldn't bother him was wrong it seemed. The man lifted his gaze towards the branches of a tree only to see the silhouette of another person up there. He couldn't see him very well due to the sun hindering his vision. He sighed in annoyance as the last thing he wanted at the moment was someone else's company. "What the hell?... Cut this crap and let me rest, will you?" He huffed at the other, loudly enough so he could hear him, but not shouting at the top of his lungs. He was in no mood for that.
@Jaejoong After his daily routine, time seemed to slow down for Heechul. It happened a lot recently. He couldn't help it, living in the forest for more that five decades helped him see all he thought he could. Everyday, the Elementalist would walk around in hopes of finding something interesting. Should he visit the city? It had been years since he last visited it. Many things must have changed. He pondered on that thought before he entered the glade of the forest. Something was different today. He noted as he looked around. From his expression alone, another could sense his eagerness.
From the corner of his eye, he spotted it. A figure of a human resting underneath a tree on the edge of the glade. It was a quiet one, but Heechul snorted, amused by how the human rested so comfortably in the open. Sneakily, he climbed a tree then jumped from branch to branch until he reached the tree the other slept under. It had taken years to master jumping around silently to the human ears, but he had done it. He had the time. Continuing with his childish plan, the Elementalist parted the leaves of the tree above him, making sunlight hit where the shadows used to be. Skillfully, he parted the right leaves, letting a ray of light fall onto the eyes of the unsuspecting victem.
@Heechul Jaejoong grew quite resistant to all the noise of the city during the past ten years, since he had been living there, but he still had an animal side to him, and his sensitive ears weren't made from such noise. He still got headaches from time to time due to this, espacially when he visited places like bars or clubs where the music was loud. This was one of those times, and he desperately wanted some quiteness, far from the hordes of people that would do him no good by being noisy and annoying. That's why he left the city and his feet guided him through the forest until they reached the glade. It was so peaceful and quite and he felt like he only wanted to take a nap and forget about everything else. Not that he had anything worth on his mind anyway. The man just sat down, back against the bark of a tree. He took a deep breath and he closed his eyes listening to the soft eind rustling the vault of leaves above his head.
OTL T^T I got carried away when making him a vampire hunter and everything and forgot you weren't allowing vampires right now. I'll take off the part vampire thing then and make him completely human although it would've been awesome for him to be part vampire/vampire hunter. Sorry for forgetting and causing trouble. >.< Sorry again.
