♡ Mall

@Prince Lay "Its fine, I have enough to last me multiple lifetimes," Kibum said with a shrug as he quickly mentioned for the other to follow. It was only a five minute walk at most to the sweetshop from the mall. "Come on, its right around the corner really," he said with a chuckle.

@Kibum The prince waited patiently for Kibum to decide on something and he listened carefully to the listed places. "Hmm... How about the sweets shop first then?" He responded with a smile. "Even though I don't have money and I can't buy anything..." He added and chuckled a little.

@Prince Lay Kibum stopped near the entrance, hands dropping the others before pursing his lips in thought. His eyes narrowed slightly, his head tilting to the side before a finger reached up to tap his chin. He hummed in thought before a few ideas popped into his mind. He turned to lay and the corners of his lips twitched. "Well, first we can try either the ice rink or roller rink, the theater, the sweets shop or if you want something calm theres the library, the forest and even the beach..." he listed off counting on his fingers.

@Kibum Lay let him take a hold of his hand and nodded, returning the smile. "Hmm... I don't really know." he replied while walking beside Kibum. "I haven't been here for so much and I everything seems new to me, I don't know what's really more interesting to see."

@Prince Lay He noticed as the other bowed, that the male had excellent posture. He shrugged the idea off and concluded he had been raised in perhaps a high status but moved on. "Come on then," he said as he moved forward to grab hold of Lay's hand, showing another smile and walking out of the hall though this time he wasn't dragging the other around as he had done so at first. "So Lay, what would you like to explore first?" he asked looking up in curiosity, again feeling pangs of jealousy, joy, confusion and even some disgusts from those around them.

@Kibum The other chuckled a little as well. "Kibum, I see." He uttered more to himself, then continued, "No, it's ok, I didn't introduce myself either anyway, so... Anyway, I'm Lay." The prince said and bowed too. He pondered a little if he should mention the fact that he's a prince, but why would he do that after all? It was not so important here, and they most likely wouldn;t see each other after this day anyway.

@Prince Lay "Oh!" Kibum exclaimed realizing they hadn't said each others names and slightly bopped his own head with his fist. "I'm Kibum," he said with a small chuckle as he lightly bowed. "Sorry I hadn't introduced myself earlier," he said rubbing the back of his neck nervously, his sweater shirt slightly shifting to one side. "Yours?" he asked with a smile.

@Kibum The prince smiled as he saw Kibum blush like that. He then nodded eagerly in response to his suggestion, his smile not fading. "Mhm, can you? That would be nice." Kibum seemed really inoffensive, at least to him. "By the way, what's you name?" Lay asked curiously, realizing that they hadn't introduced themselves yet.

@Prince Lay He felt his cheeks flush as did his ears hearing the other chuckle; well at least he made the other smile and even laugh. The vampire listened quietly, before grinning at the other. "I can show you around if you want?" he suggested, not wanting to further ask more about his situation if he didn't want to. Curiosity was always one of his biggest downfalls though thankfully he had gotten a handle on it.

@Kibum Lay blinked and chuckled at the other's embarrassment. He then seemed too cute and chuld-like to him to be a vampire. They were dark creatures after all, right? "Well... It's a kind of long story." he shrugged. "Basically I ran away from home for a while because I haven't been here since a long time and I was curious about how the city looked like now."

@Prince Lay "Mmhmm~" Kibum hummed like a child, showing his disposition and his usual persona to the other. "What about you? Why did you come here?" he asked curiously as he held his hands in front of him, fingers intertwined though the smile never fell from his face. "Oh... you don't have to answer!" he added quickly slapping his hands to his mouth, embarrassed and ashamed for asking so suddenly.

@Kibum "You kitty?" Lay asked, tiltin his head to the side a little and smiling a bit. He could see that he was talking about someone precious to him by the look in his eyes. He didn;t knoe how to interpret the red color that was taking over his eyes, but he infered it was caused by the boy's change of feelings.

@Prince Lay Lifting his head, Kibum shrugged before smiling. "I've been living here for the past... um 4 years I guess. I can't leave because I have to protect and take care of my kitty and make sure he doesn't do anything stupid," he explained with a proud nod. He had promised his dear friend he'd be there always and he was sure he would keep it. His eyes began to shine, the red tint almost glowing as he felt glee talking about his most cherished friend.

@Kibum "Yeah... you're right." Lay replied looking at the boy who was shorter than him. It didn't seem like he meant any harm. The other male's words were though, even though Lay didn't really recall any humans trying to hunt him and his brother down, maybe because the only times when they came in contact with humans, he was much younger. "How come are you here then?" The prince inquiered after a few moments of silence.

@Prince Lay Kibum, once reaching their destination let go of the others hand and spun on his heel to look at him. He was taller than him, but it seemed most people were these days though he did find a few exceptions. He had also recalled the slight stutter from the other and again he grinned. "We don't want humans to find out about us do we?" he asked before puffing out his cheeks with a slight pout. "Then they will go and hunt us down like we're a bunch of filthy animals...like they used to," he finished looking at his feet.

@Kibum His suspitions were confirmed when the other grinned and Lay could see his fangs slightly. "Eh?..." the boy didn't get to answer the question as Kibum grabbed him by the hand and dragged him through the hordes of people in the mall. "W-Why?" As the question left his lips, he felt like it wasn;t really a good idea to go 'somewhere private' with a vampire, even though he had just helped him.

@Prince Lay Kibum simply grinned, showing off his teeth though his fangs blended in to his teeth mostly. Those who could recognize them simply assumed it was a weird fascination he had with the mythical creature. "Not a problem," he said as his hand fell back to his lap. He always had to have physical contact in order for his ability to work, a restriction which had nearly caused his death countless times before. "Hmm, how about we go somewhere private?" he suggested standing up just as he grasped the others hand and guided him through the mall to a empty hallway that directed to the bathrooms. "Come on," he continued as he tugged the other, smiling back also.

@Kibum Lay blinked listening to the other, which was, it seemed, not human either. "I see..." he uttered. He inferred that he may be a vampire since he could feel the smell of his blood so well. He didn't know if he should fear him though. The boy's next action proved him that he shouldn't, because when he touched his shoulder, the pain began to fade away. He watched him concentrating on easing his pain. "Thank you..." He didn't know what other words he could say right now. Maybe ask him what he was, because Lay wasn't entirely sure, but he didn;t right now. They were in a place surrounded by humans after all, and it would have been better for them not to hear that kind of things. There were already a few people eyeing them weirdly.

@Prince Lay "You smell different," Kibum replied tilting his head to the side, eyes closed and smiling. "You smell like the few that have crossed over, blood not polluted or anything," he added with a shrug of his shoulders as he was careful to what he said when people walked by. Again he ignored the stares that seem to intensify now that they were interacting. Kibum then abruptly frowned. "You're in pain," he mumbled, reaching out to touch the male's shoulder. He shut his eyes, trying to calm and ease the pain with his empath abilities.

@Kibum The prince wasn't really paying attention to his surroundings anymore because of the pain he was feeling. He heard the words of the one next to him and it took him a few seconds to process the information. When it was clear for him that the words were addressed to him, Lay looked in the stranger's direction, eyes wide in surprise. "H-How did you know?"

@Prince Lay The pulsing blood was calling out to him, though this kind he hadn't seen for a while. Rather, he concluded, the other had indeed come from the other side. He could tell there was no tainted blood from the chemicals they were now surrounded with in the future and he had to wonder why the other person was here. There had been only a few rare visitors but even then they were accidental. The stranger didn't seem so awestruck or confused as the others did and he had to wonder the reason behind his sudden appearance. For a moment he thought to himself before saying, "You came from the portal."

@Kibum Lay noticed the male sitting beside him after calming down his breathing a bit, even though he was still tired. He glanced at him a little, trying to see if it were a better idea to leave than to remain there, but he didn't exactly know what he should do. He didn't say anything, just continuing to sit there, watching the passers-bye. He frowned when he felt a pain in his back, oe more accute than the usual, because it happened pretty often because of the butterfly shifter blood that was in his veins.

@Prince Lay Kibum had begun to on the straw, eyes still trained on the walking pedestrians though he was careful not to catch any eyes that would stare at him. He didn't like nor did he enjoy a few of the stares he received, especially from older looking men -though he would be older than them in age-who seemed to make it a pass time in staring and studying young males. He had caught a few eyeing even children and he gagged at the idea of what could possibly running through the male's minds at the time.
Over the years, homouality had been more accepted than the era he was born though there was certainly no full acceptance. He wrinkled the skin at the bridge of his nose before throwing away the now empty cup and lid in the can that was conveniently located besides the bench. He then felt a strange aura, and caught a strange scent. He froze for a second before realizing that whatever it was had taken seat besides him. He turned his head slightly, studying the stranger before looking forward. Perhaps, he was from the other side.

@Kibum While his brother was away from the castle for the time being, Lay sneaked out of their home, despite the fact that it was forbidden to do what he was going to. He ignored, for once, his brother's wishes, hoping that he wouldn't have to find out about this, and he headed for the city, and that entailed using the portal. It had been more than 100 years since the prince last used it and he thought that once more wouldn't hurt. He couldn't say he missed that place, but he was really curious about it, curious about how it looked like now, how it had become after the war. Plus, he was kind of bored at home lately.
As he had expected, it had changed quite a lot and he couldn't recognise any place from before, even though it would have been hard anyway, because of all the years that had passed. He roamed around the city, just looking around, gazing at the pedestrians passing by him, at the cars that moved so fast, like animals and at the tall buildings that were now everywhere. One in particular caught his attention at some moment and seeing people going in and out of it, he gave in to his curiosity and stepped inside the mall. It was huge inside, even larger than their castle maybe. He strolled around, reaching the second store of the building, while gauging at everything he could see, because everything was new to him.
At some moment though, he got tired. He felt the effect on the portal on his body again as he began breathing hard. So his supposition that it wouldn't hurt was wrong after all. Wanting to rest, he sat on the nearest bench that he could find, without seeing that he had taken a seat near someone at first.

Kibum sat at one of the benches on the top floor, simply staring out into the hoards of people that seem to clutter random spots of the floor. The chatter was deafening though he was happy he had fed earlier in the day. Had he not, there would have been a blood bath at the mall. He puffed out his cheeks slightly before taking a sip of fruit smoothie. It had taken time, but he had acquired a taste for it though at the beginning it had only served to be a front to keep people from asking why he rarely ate. He ran his fingers through his dark brown reddish locks of hair, eyes dark thanks to his full belly.
